[ Jurgha, daughter of Khar - Pool Bar, Hotel Extravaganza] Jurgha took a sip of the horribly sweet cocktail, then grunted in agreement at the woman's words. Lying down by the pool, no real drinks, no one fighting… what was fun about that!? “Exactly. Where is the pleasure in just lying around?” She might die of boredom before they even finished the heist. However, there was one thing occupying her mind, and that was how appearing human, and the way it made people of other species treat her, was so bafflingly strange. When the man approached them, she took another sip for something to do while she tried to figure out how to react. Was this really what it was like for them, all the time? Ugh. It was sickening. Putting down the drink, Jurgha arranged her features into a grin at the man who had spoken. “Every taste, you say? Because I was just saying that this place could use some more excitement.” She pretended to look interested as she stared at the swirling golden liquid on offer, which was probably not much better than the Samarian Sunset. “I’ll try anything once,” she answered in a saccharine tone to match. [PO1 Jovireh Velal Dala Nauras - Torus VI - Hotel Extravaganza]She barely cast a glance at the man who replaced the bartender, maintaining her relaxed posture and bored expression. There was something in the other woman's voice that caught her attention as she agreed with her, but she couldn't quite place what it was... It wasn't until the man approached them, offering a cure for their boredom, and the human perked up a little that Jov was able to place it. This was the Klingon they were working with. That definitely explained the off-ness in her expressions and tone. Well... they'd certainly done a good job. One would only know if they knew. Otherwise, they would simply assume that this wasn't the sort of place the woman frequented often. With a sly smile of her own, she spun her stool around to look at the man as he held up the shimmering liquor. She bit her lower lip with a spark of challenge in her own brown eyes. "Alright... I'll play. If I like this spy drink of yours, I'll ask what other entertainment you can recommend." She wouldn't be too hard on him, of course. After all, the drink she had ordered was not one she liked, as hard as she tried to hide that part. It would be interesting to see how well he was able to read her interests. [Aydin Tang - Pool Bar, Hotel Extravaganza, Torus VI]{Spoiler}{Click to see} Under normal circumstances, there were two types of guests: those who wanted to be pampered, to have every desire completely catered to without them having to lift a finger, and then there were those who... just complained all the time. The water was too warm. Their cocktails were too fruity, bed too soft, sun too... sunny. Normally he could spot them a mile off, and that was how the two ladies at the bar might have initially come across, had he not the distinct impression that they weren't truly guests. "Scratch the surface of any place, and you eventually get a glimpse of what's underneath," he told the human woman, returning her grin. Then the gauntlet was thrown down by the trill, and his smile grew. "A challenge - I would be grateful to accept. There are those of us here who would prefer entertainment of a different kind too, from time to time."Aydin picked up the steely-silver ice shovel, and deposited ice cubes into the cocktail shaker. Then he poured two very generous measures of the golden liquor inside. "This is the stuff of tropical dreams. It's sweet, quenches a thirst and can be deceptively intoxicating. It slides down with such an ease that you might barely even notice it. But what's the use of that?" He was just getting into his stride, chatting happily to the two action-seeking customers. With something of a smirk, he whipped out a pair of light blue safety gloves and pulled them on with a slow, practiced purpose. "We're not here for sweet, or to be unnoticed. We'd like a spicier experience. This is the Torus Pepper." He held up a wrinkled white plant by its stalk, about an inch and a half in length. "It grows in one grove, in one area on the entire planet, and even the locals avoid it." He took a knife and sliced the pepper down the middle, then with the tip, began removing the seeds. He cut away the top and stalk, disposing of it carefully. Then, with the handle of his knife, he began grinding the seeds. Gloves still firmly in place, he sliced a skinned fruit, not dissimilar in appearance to an Earth lime, and added a squeeze of its juice to the golden iced mixture, and then picked a fruit press and fed some of the remaining pepper into it. With several hard presses on the stainless steel handles, a couple of drops of the spicy plant dripped inside. After a shake of ground peppercorn and the smallest dollop of a fiery-red paste, he was almost ready to shake. Before he could do that, however, he needed to prepare and present. He took two short, wide-rimmed glasses, already chilled, and flipped them upside down. He ran the rims over the powdered pepper seeds, then sprinkled a dusting of Vulcan redspice and repeated. "Tropical sweetness, reminiscent of Earth's passion fruit, perhaps," he added for the benefit of the human as he picked the shaker up again, "Meets the fireworks of the pepper. The trick is to get the balance just right." With one last, firm shake, he was satisfied. He produced a strainer, laid it on top one glass, poured over fresh ice, and repeated the same for the next. Garnish was simple: a wedge of the green-coloured fruit affixed to the side of each glass. "At first glance, pretty, probably safe to drink, something you could take home to your mother. But beneath the surface, fighting for supremacy, is that fire waiting to gut-punch you for underestimating."He placed each glass in front of each guest and found himself genuinely very curious to hear their verdicts. It was not a concoction for an inexperienced palate. He pulled off the gloves and waited with raised brows.

[ Jem Sparkles - Jem's Suite, Hotel Extravaganza] " My dearest Jacyn, I saw how much pain that you were in after Xander left, watched as you tried to block it out with work and other distractions. Too stupid to realise that I should of said something before now. However I don't expect anything in return, not until you're ready" Jeffy replied, still unable to avert his gaze away from him. His words and admission had resonated with the drag queen and had given him the chance to both learn and share the truth. He didn't know what would happen but felt much lighter now that Sven knew. If the security officer decided that he needed some space, then that was okay with him too and certainly wouldn't jeopardise the mission either. Yet Jeffy didn't move and stayed where he was.
Tag Sven Aune |Jem's Suite || lt. cmdr. Sven Aune Jacyn McGrath |Sven's brows furrowed a bit. The large man had burried the memory of that relationship deep. Xander had left quite suddenly. Station life did not suit him, or so he had said. So to keep from feeling the pain of that breakup, Sven had kept busy and distracted, and only in the wee hours of the morning did he think about it. And he didn't like it. Sven wasn't sure he was ready for another relationship. Or another rejection for that matter. But he was surprised that he didn't hide his hurt as well as he thought he had. People had noticed. And wondered if Jem knew, who else did? "It was a particularly hard time in my life. And to have that thrown on top. I guess I just tired to ignore it as best as I could. Spose I didn't do as good as a job as I thought. But honestly, what could anyone say?"He noticed that Jeffery's eyes were glued to him and Sven offered a weak smile. Tag Thea Baker"

[ Jeffy - Jem's Suite, Hotel Extravaganza, Jewel of Torus] Jeffy might of still been wearing most of his drag but when he spoke and listened to Sven it was as the man beneath the persona and not Jem. Of course he could change the subject but at the same time, it felt as though he wasn't the only one who had to get this off his chest. Wanting to reach out physically, to offer comfort and reassurance but held back as his confession was already enough to take in, without adding further pressure or sending the wrong signal. Realising that he had made the right decision as Sven reacted with surprise about Jeffy picking up on the truth. Offering a gentle smile as Sven spoke, before answering him. " You did on the outside and I know there's nothing I can say other than, you deserve someone better and I'm not expecting you to feel like I do as you're still healing".Jeffy then paused, took a deep breath and knew that he would have to change soon as this kind of gig required him to be in drag at all times, apart from sleeping. Naturally that came with lots of fabulous outfits to choose from. " You don't have to say anything and take all the time you need, but for now could you be a dear and unzip me, so I can go get changed?".There was a hint of his usual playfulness as he turned so Sven could help him.

[ Cwm Eliska Bremmer/Ms. Jana Cromer - Hotel Extravaganza, Jewel of Torus, Torus VI ]Waiting was always the hardest part in any major task Bremmer had been assigned to. Twiddling her thumbs in some squad bay, in a shuttle or waiting for her turn to deal with some one-on-one or small group evaluation, standing in front of a door as a mere guard, or in this case pretending to be enjoying herself as a guest in some prestigious resort. Sure, there were worse ways to spend her time, but it was paradoxically unrestful to be laying there on a chaise waiting for the word go. And, with some luck, she'd see her radler soon enough. Even if it was real alcohol rather than synthehol, she knew her metabolism could easily handle to two or three percent alcohol per volume of the juice and beer brew, and it might help settle her nerves some while also being exceedingly refreshing. Once Commander Quinn the bartender left, she looked to the woman in her immediate vicinity. She couldn't recall her cover identity, but she knew who she was; after all, if she was meant to be the cavalry if things truly fell in the pot, she had to know who to avoid shooting, and who would need to be extracted no matter what. Hell, as a mere Crewman, she was likely the most expendable member of this operation, if only because her head wasn't full of the kind of Starfleet secrets officers carried around... And while waiting for her drink, she looked at the woman who'd just been playing with her hair, and smiled. "So, what do we make of the scenery here?" Her eyes twinkled as she spoke, and cast a quick glance towards some of the more attractive people enjoying themselves in the pool. After all, veiled speech was of so very little use if she wasn't going to at least make an effort to sell it.

[Ensign Enola - Hotel Extravaganza, Torus IV]
Enola waited for her melon smoothie and watched the scene suspiciously. If so many Mac undercover agents were already here, she could only imagine that possibly other agents could be here as well. Nevertheless, this was no reason to get upset.
When the woman - who was obviously also from the Mac - began to talk, she looked around again attentively. "Well..." "A fantastic bar, a fantastic pool. The environment is aesthetically pleasing."
She clearly struggled with the enthusiasm in her voice, trying to keep out the vulcanic sound that permeated each syllable. With less success than she would have thought. ______________

The dress looked terribly uncomfortable. Tight. "Xander was a thing, I guess." he started up again, "maybe to little too fast. Then again, he was a reformed criminal. [ Jeffy - Jem's Suite, Hotel Extravaganza, Jewel of Torus] Jeffy wasn't sure what else he could of said as Sven shrugged and almost threw his words back at him. It was the truth and yet clearly Sven hadn't seen that or was too hurt and broken, to realise what Jeffy had been trying to say. Part of him wanted to come right out with it and say that he was the one to treat him better but didn't. Maybe this was the wrong time after all as Sven helped him with the zip on the dress and spoke more about Xander. There it was the root to all of this and Jeffy knew that he had to let go and let Sven realise on his own. They also had work to do and Jeffy turned to thank Sven and reassure him, that he had done the right thing by sharing this with someone. " Thanks Dear & I'm glad that we had this talk. We can continue the conversation later, once the job is done and we're back on the Medusa".Jeffy smiled as he said this and hoped that Sven would take up his invitation but for now, left him momentarily to get into his next costume.

{Quoted Posts} [ Thea/Athea - Hotel Extravaganza, Jewel of Torus] Thea smiled as Corona agreed to join her, wishing this reunion was under better circumstances. However for Thea just seeing her former CO and friend in the flesh after so long was reassuring, especially after not knowing where she had been all of this time. At the mention of discussing a busy itinerary with her, Thea understood exactly what that meant. In fact it was something that hadn't left her thoughts, ever since they were given this assignment. " Ah yes, I look forward to hearing all about it" she replied as Corona then acknowledged Six's presence and saw the pleasantly surprised look that she then gave him. She wasn't one to get jealous and besides her boyfriend was playing the part extremely well, something that she got the benefit of, when they could be alone. As Corona gave her order and Six relayed a message. Thea only listened, glad to hear an update as Isaiah was in the perfect position to do so. When he then turned his attention to her and made no attempt to hide that devilish smile or the way he looked her up and down. Thea grinned, especially with the comment he then made. " There's always something that you can do for me Six, but for the moment, how about one of the signature cocktails?".
Tag Felicity Ellis Isaiah Quinn [Felicity Ellis Corona Tang - VIP Cabanas, Hotel Extravaganza, Torus VI]"Thank you for updating me, Six," she responded, understanding the message within. "Please, if you would, let Ms. Cromer know that I will have her evening attire pressed and delivered to her suite within the hour." It was the most discreet method of delivering any equipment, tech or even small weapons within the hotel, and Corona would be keen to ensure that all of the Mac's people were as prepared as possible. Her smile was professional as Athea and Six flirted with each other. She averted her gaze, eyes catching on something in the distance. She gave the tiniest of nods, and suddenly music was playing from an unseen source above. It was supposed to be relaxing, some sort of woodwind pipe, the woman thought, with a background beat of a steal-sounding drum. She fingered the expensive necklace around her neck, grasped it for a moment, and then glanced back over at the VIP guest on the lounge next to her. "I've activated a dampener." Her expression remained mostly the same, with only her eyes showing any sign of anything out of the ordinary. "They'll think it's just interference from the sound system, we're free to talk." She leaned forward a little, eager, but clasped her hands on her lap, still outwardly professional. "It's been a while, Thea. I'm both glad and not glad it's you and your crew here to help with this. It's good to see you." She glanced at Isaiah, who would be retreating to do some actual work. "Both of you." [Aydin Tang - Pool Bar, Hotel Extravaganza, Torus VI]His wife was very watchable, he decided. Aydin stood, shaded by a huge palm-like tree, sunglasses hiding the direction of his stare. He waited for her signal. Blink and you'd miss it. If he wasn't as taken as he was, he'd have been irritated, but as it was he did not mind staring a little harder at the prim and proper professional in the dress. He pushed himself off the trunk with a shoulder, unfolded his arms and strode with a casual air toward the bar. "Helias, your very unique talents are required by the Lady Hezula," he informed the bartender as his fingers danced across a console. Soft background music began to play. His air might have been casual as he delivered the message, but the Deltan did not mistake the order in Aydin's tone. "Penthouse."When the server, a master of many trades, slipped away, Aydin found his attention drawn to the two ladies sipping Sumarian Sunsets. He caught the tail-end of a lamentation; one that would just not do. How could he call himself an entrepreneur of entertainment, the servant of the session, if there was a guest complaining about a lack of action? "Perhaps that is something I can help you with," he asked smoothly as he took over Helias' position at the bar. "We can arrange pursuits that suit every taste." He picked up a bottle of soft, golden-hued liquor, shook it with the flick of a wrist and activated a shimmering reaction within. "Can I interest you ladies in my signature, specialty cocktail? I call it 'The Spy Who Loved Me'." [ Jurgha, daughter of Khar - Pool Bar, Hotel Extravaganza] Jurgha took a sip of the horribly sweet cocktail, then grunted in agreement at the woman's words. Commander Isaiah Quinn Six - Hotel Extravaganza, Torus VI] {Spoiler}{( CLICK if you fancy another look )} It was a challenge in itself, but Six did his best to recall people by their cover names rather than what he was most familiar. Mrs. Tang acknowledged the message from Ms. Cromer with a reply: that her evening attire will be pressed and delivered to her suite within the hour. "Very good, ma'am. I'll be certain to pass that along, Six said. It wasn't very long after that, that his attention was fully captured by Ms. Rohan. He didn't even allow himself to think of her as 'Athea' since using her name as if it were readily familiar could jeopardize their cover as well. Ms. Rohan replied that there was always something that he could do for her. The phrase seemed to solicit a knowing smirk from his lips. She decided on something more appropriate for the scene, that being one of the signature cocktails. Six nodded. "Right away." The mention of a dampener being activated had come from the other woman. It had been some time since they had seen Felicity, and it was good to see her, though he would have preferred to have reunited with his former captain under different circumstances. He acknolwedged her words with a simple nod and took his leave, leaving the others to discuss whatever captains discussed with one another. He made his way over towards the bar in time to see that Helias had been excused from his duties. He watched as the Deltan disappeared and Mr. Aydin Tang took to manning the bar. At present, he kept the company of two more of Six's teammates: Jov and Jurgha. Six mentally reminded himself to be careful with those names. He then proceeded to prepare the orders that he had taken, thinking it best to avoid burdening Mr. Tang with such a task. Besides, he allowed himself to passively eavesdrop on the general conversation as he worked.

[ Jurgha, daughter of Khar - Pool Bar, Hotel Extravaganza] When the woman beside her made it a challenge, Jurgha smirked and watched the man to see how he would respond. Now, this was getting slightly more interesting... provided they really were on their way to a glimpse of what's underneath. “I think a spicier experience is exactly what we’re looking for," she replied to the man as he started to talk up the drink he was making. Of course, she wasn’t really going to fall for a pretty face and an elaborate sales pitch. Those “rare ingredients” may well have come straight from the replicator. But because he had embraced the challenge, when the cocktail was placed in front of her Jurgha played along and took a sip. It was, in fact, better than she expected. The taste was unusual, but she did appreciate its fire. “Not bad. But is that all you’ve got?”Felicity Ellis , Jovireh Velal

“Not bad. But is that all you’ve got?”Felicity Ellis , Jovireh Velal [PO1 Jovireh Velal Dala Nauras - Torus VI - Hotel Extravaganza]Their new bartender certainly seemed eager to impress them, and who was she to not give him the chance? When he pulled on the safety gloves, a keen eyebrow lifted in interested curiosity. She didn't listen to his pitch so much as she watched his movements. He wasn't lying about the strength of the pepper... her eyes started watering as she was able to smell it from across the bar. That definitely explained the gloves. Accidentally getting some in your eye would likely land you in the infirmary. Aydin certainly knew how to put on a show. Jov could only imagine the sort of tips he made here. As he set the glasses down in front of her and Jurgha, she took a tentative sip - her sunset set off to the side for now - and both eyebrows lifted in an expression that was clearly impressed. Jurgha taunted him, but 'Dala' gave him a smile. "You know how to please those who like to live dangerously," she commented, a slightly flirtatious tone in her voice. "I am intrigued on what else you have to offer." From the corner of her eye, she saw Isaiah walk past - who wouldn't notice? - and reminded herself silently not to get too wrapped up in the conversation. They were, after all, here for a reason.

[ Jeffy - Jem's Suite, Hotel Extravaganza, Jewel of Torus] Jeffy had just reached the rack of costumes when he heard Sven's apology, followed by the inevitable blaming himself for everything that had happened to him. How many times had Jeffy been in the same situation, before realising that it wasn't always his fault. Sighing gently, Jeffy picked out a pink sequinned gown, custom made as usual and stripped off the previous dress as he contemplated Sven's words. " Apology accepted but please no more of this thinking you were to blame, life happens, bad relationships happen" He called over as he started the transformation into Jem for the second time. " As for knowing if someone is right for you, you just know and everyone eventually finds that happiness, if you're ready to open your mind and heart to it".Going silent whilst he finished getting dressed and reapplied make up, especially the pink sparkle lipstick. Jeffy became Jem before walking back out and towards Sven. " Now let's go, so I can meet my fans before the show later" He said with a smile, before approaching the door.

[ Thea/Athea - VIP Area, Hotel Extravaganza, Jewel of Torus] Of course Thea would be lying to herself and those currently in her company, that she wasn't enjoying the attention from Isaiah. There was just something about the way he looked at her and smirked that sent goosebumps cascading down her spine. She knew that she was lucky and their cover was well played, as flings with guests were not uncommon. Okay maybe it wasn't exactly how they planned to spend their first anniversary but at least they were together. As Six acknowledged the message from Felicity that was to be relayed to Ms Cromer, before their former CO activated the dampener after music began to play. Thea was all ears and attentive as Felicity spoke more directly to them, knowing it was safe to do so. Flick wasn't wrong either about how long it had been and why she was glad and not glad that they were here. Despite the circumstances, Thea shared the same sentiment as to how good it was to see her. " It's really good to see you too" Thea began as Six resumed his server duties. Acknowledging him with a slight grin before continuing. " As for us being here, you could call it fortunate but in reality, we were the closest. Although you know what command can be like. Despite that, I've got a good team and I'm confident that we'll succeed". Thea would of loved to have said more and maybe one day, she'd get to have a proper conversation and catch up with Felicity. But at least she was getting to see her after months of not knowing where she had gone.

[Hotel Extravaganza – Pool Area]
“Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner!” Dr. Hunt entered the pool area. He walked into the pool area with a regular long sleeve shirt, which has the color blue. On his hands, they were plenty of chips, ranging from black, gold, and purple.
“This party is kinda a lame; time to spice it up! Carpe Diem!” the Doctor yelled as he tossed the chips into the pool. As he tossed the ship, the reaction was somewhat predicable as people would dive into the pool to retrieve some of them. It was not long after that a lifeguard approached Hunt and said, “Excuse me, Sir?”.
“Yes, do you know who I am?” Hunt replied as he looked at him with a confident smile.
“I don’t normally say this, but please do not toss Casino Chips onto the Pool,” The lifeguard said.
Hunt pulled out another chip and place it on his hand. “And you don’t have to be such a party pooper. Here something from your troubles” As he handed the chip, he walked away.
The man headed to the bar in which he told the bartender, “Buy a round on everyone. Charge it to Suite 515, I am here to have some fun and forget about my ex-wife, got it?” He hoped that by buying a round a drink someone would approach him from the mission and thank him. So he could introduce his character.

But at least she was getting to see her after months of not knowing where she had gone. [Felicity Ellis Corona Tang - VIP Cabanas, Hotel Extravaganza, Torus VI]She nodded in response to Isaiah's affirmative, then again when Thea responded to her earlier musings. "I know all too well," she said, heavy meaning behind her words when the other woman spoke about how command was. Her eyes followed Isaiah's progress across the pool area, noting that he stopped nearby to Aydin, who was already performing to an attractive audience. "That's my husband," she told Thea, hand waving in the bartender's general direction, voice still low despite the dampener. "He has found himself in Hezula's good graces of late, and he'll be instrumental in getting you and your team an introduction later at the party."The word husband was still a little foreign to Felicity's own ears, even though they'd been "married" for almost a year. But now was not the time to dwell, or get ponderous. They had a sting to pull off. "Intel suggests that the information Hezula is trying to sell has been on her person until three days ago, when she arrived here. A member of the cleaning staff - one on the Tang payroll - has confirmed that she witnessed a disk being locked away in the study of her suites. The lock is biometric, and..."Corona Tang trailed off as a man entered the pool area, shouting and throwing chips. The guests diving into the pool to retrieve them must have assumed this was part of someone's elaborate entertainment, for nobody at the Extravaganza would get wet for the equivalent of a mere bar of latinum. She blinked, then turned to look at Thea. "Is he one of yours?"

So he could introduce his character. [Aydin Tang - Pool Bar, Hotel Extravaganza, Torus VI]Aydin's jaw almost hit the bar when the human woman asked if that was all he'd got. Was she devoid of tastebuds? Surely her tongue, at the very least her lips, were on fire? Any regular human would be fanning themselves and sweating by now and searching for a less punishing chaser. But this one, no, she wanted more. Then something dawned on him and he smiled. "Ah, I see that just like The Spy Who Loved Me, there's more to you than outward appearances."Bolian? Romulan? No no, too boldly forward - Klingon. He wondered if the Trill was really a Trill. It was like a high stakes game of Guess Who, and Aydin Tang was enjoying himself; so much more than usual. "There are a few activities here that can get the adrenaline pumping. For the more physical there's the cliff diving, the Dances of the Five Deaths, that's a good one, don't recommend unless you've got some rhythm in your hips - and stamina. Yeah, plenty of all-night-long stamina required for that one. And then there's the event tonight, where one might get introduced to influential people with items to sell that would definitely light your fire..."Items like datafiles and datachips containing dangerous information. Potentially life-threatening to certain people and their colleagues. Any further elaboration was cut short, however, as a man in blue entered the bar area. The staff were all well-versed and accustomed with dealing with all manner of clientele, obnoxious drunk wasn't as invasive as perverted drunk, for example, but they required a certain kind of handling, nevertheless. Aydin whipped out a PADD from beneath the bar and brandished it toward the guest who was trying to buy rounds for everyone. "Certainly, sir. If you wouldn't mind just verifying for me here on this PADD that you are in fact the one assigned to Suite 515, then we can see to your order." It was a veiled insult, Aydin knew, but it wouldn't be the first time someone tried to show off and charge it to an enemy or someone who ran out on them after a lackluster performance in the bedroom. "Six, if you could give me a hand?" Hundreds of drinks would not pour themselves, after all.
