{Quotes} [PO1 Jovireh Velal Dala Nauras - Torus VI - Hotel Extravaganza - Hezula's Suite]The door opened just enough to admit Six into the room to the grab the bag, and she relaxed only slightly as it closed behind him once more. One problem solved... She turned back to the other woman as she spoke, and Dala's eyes widened in horror when she realized the comment wasn't just an observation. Jurgha was actually planning on blasting the safe open through the wall. "What are you doing?!" she hissed, swiftly crossing the room once more. Hopefully she hadn't already set it to detonate... Bracing one hand against the wall, she reached for the device with her other hand - in hopes to pry it off - when suddenly the section of wall dissolved to reveal the safe behind it. Well... that had been easier than expected... Leaning in, she allowed the device to scan the biometric lens over her retina, and with a click and a hiss the safe slid open. There were quite a few more items in there than Dala had been expecting, but it only took a couple moments of careful sifting to find the data disc. After sliding it into her pocket, she reached her hand back towards her partner. "You've got the decoy?" While that wasn't absolutely necessary for their plan to work, it was crucial in giving them more time to get as far away from the planet as possible before Hezula realized what they'd done. [Ensign Enola - Security Suite]
Enola felt like a black sheep after both the other people present apparently broke out into discreet excitement. The part-Vulcan herself remained calm. Until she recognised the green one who was making her way to the VIP area.
"We've come this far, I hope Hezula's made coffee and laid out cake," she muttered absentmindedly, only too happy to exchange the phrase for a simple 'fascinating'. "We should deactivate the security alarm," the part-Vulcan whispered, whirling to the security console before her fingertips danced practisedly across it. "Locked, dammit," she muttered, noting how her emotional control was gradually being replaced by Romulan temper. With a gasp, she tried to restrain herself. "What are you going to do, Misses Tang?" she asked in response to the comment that Cromer was now on her own, then turned her attention back to the console. "The security alarms work through sensors that sense life signs" she explained softly, but loud enough that anyone within ten feet of her would hear. "We need to disable the sensors so the life signs can't register. We can do that in other ways than codes. Proximity detectors have a weakness for radiation. The sensors can be fooled or temporarily disabled by this." [ Jurgha, daughter of Khar - Presidential Suite, Hotel Extravaganza] Jurgha followed a step behind Dala as they crossed back to the safe, as soon as the attendant was out the door. “I’m trying to get this open, unless you have any better ideas,” she hissed back. Maybe it was not foolproof, and they would have to sacrifice some surprise and subtlety. But since Dala appeared content to simply stand there and gawk, she had to do something, and fast. Then, in her rush to remove it, Dala must have activated the blast device; a few seconds later, it was done. The goal complete, there was nothing for it but to continue with the plan and get out of there. Jurgha placed the decoy device in the same spot the real one had been in. “I have it. We should take something else, make it look like that was what we were after.”[ Cwm Eliska Bremmer/Ms. Jana Cromer - Security Room, Hotel Extravaganza, Jewel of Torus, Torus VI ]While Tang was rifling through the console for information, and finally Enola decided to get her eyes where they might be most useful (and providing some of the most elementary, most obvious 'logic', Bremmer kept her eyes on her two charges, and it would seem the one who had taken the stunner to the armpit was the one to be the most coherent. However, he did not seem entirely interested in talking just yet, and he was starting to snarl back... Until she scooped down one of their communicators and took a knee next to the bound man. With a flick of her thumb, the weapon came off of safe, through stun, and to its kill setting. Now, modern weapons set to kill generally just caused wounds that, when properly placed, were lethal to the individual ose drove the pistol's muzzle into his groin, angled towards his genitals, while holding his comm device towards his face. "The all clear code. Give it, or we see if the doctors here can grow those back."A threat to a man's physical virility was a low blow in many a way. But, even in these days of modern medicine it was a threat that elicited a visceral reaction and she was banking on that. For a moment he thought of resisting, and he quickly called out "Karaka's Nest, Security One. Periwinkle, out."There was a split-second that seemed to last entirely too long, and the communicator chirped again. "Security One, Karaka's Nest. Read you periwinkle. Next time, answer the first time. Out."With that response, Bremmer had to make an effort to contain her sigh of relief, but she wasn't quite done yet, not now that she had him tweeting like a songbird. "Master alarm and internal sensor control switches. How do we turn them off completely?" She asked viciously, driving her weapon deeper into tender flesh, and it would seem that had been enough to get his attention all right. "Left-hand edge of the console there's the override panel. Open it. You'll have to input a code. It's 'splendiferous' S's and E's are capitalized! Please don't shoot, I want kids!"With that information out in the open, Bremmer looked to their team leader. The information was out there all right... [Felicity Ellis Corona Tang - Security Suite]"It won't matter what life signs there are if the team blows up the Presidential Suite."For the most part, Corona had been ignoring the suddenly very chatty member of the team, who seemed to have gotten the wrong end of the stick with regard for their need of codes. Cromer was working on that, thankfully, and it wasn't long before the obviously talented young woman managed to shake and threaten the words needed out of one of the technicians. With Karaka's Nest seemingly satisfied, and the ability to disengage the master alarm system, Corona returned her focus to the job in hand. "Wait, wait..." She muttered, eyes flashing from one viewscreen to the other, "Okay! System deactivated!" It was at that moment that part of the wall safe began to melt away, to dissolve into thin air and reveal the hiding place's innards. She leaned back in her chair, a breath whooshing from her in relief. It had just been in the nick of time, another second and - The console pinged. A program she'd set to run in the background was throwing up data. A message scrolled quickly from left to right across the bottom of one of the screens. "An encrypted data packet. A message with a recording, sent to... Hezula's personal hand-held. As soon as the item was removed." She didn't have the time to decrypt the message and be sure, but she knew it was far too much of a coincidence to be anything else - a hidden, sensitive weight sensor would be their undoing. She glanced at the holocam footage of the ballroom, in time to see Hezula and Grossman leave the dancefloor. =//= "Team, it's Tang One. We have a problem. Do not let Hezula read her messages." =//=

[ Lt. Commander Isaiah Quinn Six - Presidential Suite] The smile remained on Six's face until T'ami finally disappeared from sight. She'd been thankful for his retrieving the purse for her, and it also seemed that she accepted his invitation to meet him at the fire falls later, after the auction. He hoped that by the time the auction was over, he and the rest of the team would be long gone. As she finally faded from view, he exhaled. At least that portion of the deception was over, but he thought it'd be best if they were gone before someone else arrived. It may not prove as easy to get rid of them. He barely had time to hover around the anti-grav cart as he heard Miss Tang's voice in his comm. She mentioned something about there being a problem and not allowing Hezula to read any of her messages. "Messages?" Six mused to himself. He began to wonder if T'ami had suspected something and alerted Hezula. Or worse, Hezula somehow knew that Dala and Jurgha were tampering with the safe. Either way, the time for the status quo was over. Six moved back towards the suite's door and opened it. He took a few steps inside, not abandoning his post completely, but feeling the urgent need to assess the ladies' progress or lack thereof. "Tang said there's a problem. Please tell me we've got news to the contrary," he said, hoping that best-case scenario, they'd found the disc and could get the hell out of there.

[PO1 Jovireh Velal Dala Nauras - Torus VI - Hotel Extravaganza - Hezula's Suite]After the decoy disc had been placed in the safe, Dala was in the process of resituating all of the items in the precise locations she had found them when Jurgha suggested they take something else. She was just about to tell the Klingon Human precisely where she could shove her advice, when she heard Tang's voice in her ear. The safe must have been rigged with an automated messaging system. Cursing under her breath, she stepped back away from the safe, allowing the door to slide closed and seal once more. "Taking something else will only increase suspicion at this point," she explained, turning as Six entered the room. She clenched her jaw as she looked away from him, really wishing he would stop doing that. "We're done. Let's get out of here," she replied simply, turning towards the door. Before leaving, however, she stepped off to the side and waited for Six to make sure no one had come around the corner in the last few moments.

[ Jurgha, daughter of Khar - Presidential Suite, Hotel Extravaganza] Jurgha scoffed at the other woman's sudden change in attitude. “Fine. Whatever, let’s go.” If Hezula already knew they had opened the safe, increasing suspicion wasn't their biggest concern. But Fleeters always had to do things exactly their way, didn’t they? She crossed over to the door when Six opened it and Dala closed the safe behind them. “Could have been a hidden sensor. But we got the disc, no problem.” Going along with the others, for now, she paused to make sure the way was clear. Isaiah Quinn Jovireh Velal

[ Thea/Athea - Grand Ballroom] Hunt/Grossman might be doing a good in keeping Hezula occupied despite his slightly unorthodox approach. However that didn't stop Thea from worrying, especially when they started doing body shots as if no one else in the room existed. Then again considering what she was hearing on the hidden comm, him being led towards the VIP area might not be a bad thing. Thea didn't know why Alpha team aka Pineapple had deviated slightly from the plan as she had been quite specific with their orders. Then again it appeared that there was other factors, they hadn't anticipated and it wasn't doing her nerves any good. Panic began to fill her stomach, her drink tasting like acid as she took a sip before pushing it out the way. When the warning then came through about stopping Hezula from reading her messages. It appeared as though the obstacles in their way had gotten worse and there was only one thing that she could do. " Pineapple and Watermelon are such a good combination. I'll have to get them to recreate it on the Medusa" she said commenting about her drink, but in reality it was the code phrase for Alpha and Beta teams, to get back to the ship. It was all up to Hunt now to give those in the Ballroom the chance to join the others, without having to resort to extraction by beaming out. Although depending on what happened that might be their only way to escape.

[Grand Ballroom]
The man kept looking at Hezula as he continued to find her more and more attractive every second as he looked her. He was impressed as she took the shot from his mouth. As she invited her into the delegation, he smiled and instead of responding yes. Hunt gently approached and kissed her neck slowly. “Does that give you an answer?” He asked with his confident tone.
In the back of his mind, he was starting to like Hezula more and more every second. It was true that he had taken medication, but they were never designed for exchanging bodily fluids with an Orion. As expected, her pheromones output might be off the charts. As it kept going and going it he needed a bathroom break to inform the group where he was going and also inject itself with a booster shot to help him with the side effects.
He had the hypo spray ready and was ready to excuse himself as he would “prepare” himself for a second. As much as the plan would make sense, he observed her heading to the VIP area.
As he approached to try and head to the restroom. He listened to the comms of Tang one. He listened as they could not let Heluza read her message no matter the cost. Something happened in the system and he did not know the details. As the person closest to her it was his job to buy the rest of the team enough time to escape.
Nervous that if he said something too obvious, they might be get caught. He then brushed his hair and turn his comms on =/= Hezula, We should play poison pawn, it’s a game about having drinks in different positions. I hope you enjoy different positions. I wonder how many do you know? =/= Hunt turned off the comms and he brushed his hair again.
In the back of his mind, he wondered if they got the code. Poisoned Pawn was an old earth term for a chess game in which a person sacrifices a chess piece for the greater good. He knew if he went to the VIP room he would either be overpowered by the pheromones with no booster shot but it could distract Hezula enough for the team to finish their mission and extract leaving him behind. He was the Poison Pawn and he was heading into a trap but he needed to buy the rest of the team time.
This was not the first time as he insisted to be left behind. He just hope like last time he would figure out to keep himself alive. However, he hope that years would fly by him and he lost everything.
Hunt ordered drinks to be placed on the VIP.
[VIP Room]
As he followed her to the VIP room giving her no time to react or check any systems. He went towards Heluza he and would try to pick her up and lift by grabbing her behind. Hopefully we would climb into his body as he would try and slam her into the wall. As he kept looking at her, she became more and more beautiful. He was hoping that his lie impressed her and he was willing to keep the lie going to keep impressing her. “I think we should not be disturbed as we play “poisoned pawn” Hunt said as he kept trying to make out with her.

[ Hezula - Grand Ballroom to VIP area] " Mmm it does" Hezula purred in response, enjoying his answer and his increasing confidence. Mr Tuxedo was certainly ticking every box, more than any of her most recent conquests with the exception of Helias. The bartender was in a league of his own, although Tuxedo was a very close second. If he kept this up then her after party would only involve the two of them and no one else. When he mentioned playing another game, Hezula listened with interest and liked the sound of it as it appealed to her more dangerous and wicked side. " We can definitely play that game and I know a lot of positions".Her tone was playful and filled with obvious desire as they entered the VIP area. Although it appeared that her fun was to be interrupted as her personal device vibrated. Anger flashed across her eyes, before Mr Tuxedo took control once more as he picked her up and slammed her against the wall. She liked that a lot and let him know just how much. Of course she was happy to not let them be disturbed so they could play their game and make out. However in order to do that she needed to turn off her device or at least mute it so she could concentrate on Tuxedo. " Of course we can be alone" she began to say in between kisses. " Go sit on the chair whilst I mute my personal device, then I'm all yours".Pushing him away playfully and hoping he would follow her instructions. Hezula kissed him once more to show him that she meant it, before taking out her device. " I need to go, someone has broken into my safe, they will pay dearly for this".

[ Jem - Grand Ballroom] With events quickly unravelling around them, thanks to the change in atmosphere if you didn't count the lust and desire emanating from Hunt and Hezula. Jem knew that time was likely against them and the moment had come in order to bring the planned interval forward. So the second that Hezula and Hunt disappeared into the VIP area and the privacy that they sought. Jem brought the song to an end, pausing dramatically as she surveyed the rest of the audience. The applause seemed subdued and sparse, no doubt catching people unaware thanks to the display put on by the Crime Boss and her latest catch. Although she could only imagine Hezula's reaction when Hunt was transported away from her as he unlikely to leave of his own accord. " It's time for the interval so I shall leave you in the wonderful hands of the house band. See you after the auction" she said gracefully, bowing slightly before making her way off the stage. Of course she wouldn't be back but kept up the illusion and hoped that Sven was following and that Thea would do the same.

[VIP Room] The man proposed to play a more risqué game. He pressed her into the wall as he is close to her body felt the vibration of her device. He understood that there was a chance that something went wrong, and he needed to cover for the team. As the session continued, she agreed with them to be alone in which he was relieved. As long as they were alone, she would be cut off from her bodyguards and to give orders to give his team an extraction.
As he was ordered to the chair as she muted the device, he felt close to accomplishing his mission objective. He felt some relief as it appeared that the rest of this team would be able to escape. He knew the time was running out of his medication and its resistance.
Hunt walked to the chair, and on his way, there grabbed one of the drinks they had in the VIP room. Unlike what was on the outside, It seemed that he was in the clear. However, he heard her message as there was something wrong.
She mentioned that someone broke into the safe. He reacted, and Hunt's eliminated his short sight of relief. Tension started to build up, and the adrenaline was surging into this system.
Damn He thought.
He needed to come up with an idea and fast. If she began to hear to the safe and realize something was wrong, the rest of the group would be at risk.
“Or a Mechanical Error,” Hunt offered. “Look, I know nothing about safe’s, but I know about Holorecording, and most of the time, the error are due to equipment, lens, or light errors,” The man said as he grabbed a drink for Hezula and bought it over. He talked as he was an expert in the subject. It was his cover, and he needed to play it.
AS he approached her, he handed her a drink. “C’mon, let’s not ruin the mood. You could easily see the camera in the room, which would show you the same information as arriving. Let's just skip heading there see the camera and then we can continue our game. We need to seize the moment when it happens. Tonight is not a night of work, it a night…of pleasure”. Hunt hoped that the team did a good job leaving all the objects in the same way.

[ Lt. Commander Isaiah Quinn Six - Presidential Suite ] Six was relieved to hear that the primary objective had been reached. However, if they had tripped a sensor, then there certainly wasn't any time to waste. It could explain why they were all being recalled to the ship so urgently. "Let's go then," was his only words for the rest of the team. "Head to the service lift." His words had been accompanied by his hand gesturing the proper direction. As Six fell into a hurried walk with the others, he spoke into his communicator. =A= "Package recovered. Heading to the rendezvous point, now," =A= he said into the comms. Once everyone was aboard the lift, he pressed the button to the main level. "There's a service entrance to the right. We can make it to the ship from there." When the lift came to a halt and the doors opened, Six stepped out and retrieved a jacket he had left earlier. There was no need to stand out as a servant once they made it through the exit.

[PO1 Jovireh Velal Dala Nauras - Torus VI - Hotel Extravaganza]Following Six out of the room and down the hall, she was immediately relieved to be away from that uncomfortably distracting scent. There was a lingering headache, but she wasn't entirely convinced that wasn't from the alcohol. Stepping out of the lift, she moved towards the exit, keeping her stride purposeful but not rushed. One of the first things they learned in security training - running only draws attention. They weren't being pursued yet, so they would make it to the rendezvous with plenty of time.

Heading to the rendezvous point, now," =A= [Felicity Ellis Corona Tang - Security Suite]She was on the edge of her seat, hoping that Grossman could keep Hezula busy enough to ignore her personal messages. From the sounds he was making over the comm, it seemed like he was certainly giving it his all. As new orders came in, Corona put the finishing touches on a program Aydin had created, and loosed it into the system. When Cromer made her suggestion, Corona pursed her mouth in consideration. The effort of slagging the computer equipment wasn't really required, not when a few key strokes could do the kind of damage they needed. However, there was a lot to be said for killing storage. She could delete every one of their faces from the system, but there would always be a back up somewhere. So she pushed the chair back, stood quickly and moved toward one of the stunned techs. She relieved him of his weapon and checked the settings. "Let's do it," she said to the other woman as she tapped a flush compartment beneath the console, hoping to reveal the data crystals inside. "It'll drown out the disturbing romance." And it was certainly a distraction. She loosed a few shots, then a few more, starting to enjoy herself for the first time that evening. When Six's voice confirmed they had the prize, Corona dropped the weapon. She should not be seen with one, it would not be in character. "Time to go! We can rendezvous with everyone at the ship. Let's hope your boy Grossman can get out... intact."With a nod, she gestured for Cromer to precede her, and soon they'd be moving through the corridors and past the ballroom. Eliska Bremmer , Enola

[ Jurgha, daughter of Khar - Hotel Extravaganza] Now that they had retrieved what they had came for, the message came to return to the ship. It wasn't a moment too soon, considering that she definitely did not want to hang around Hezula's room. "Got it," Jurgha nodded in assent to Six's instructions, and followed the others into the service lift as soon as it was confirmed the way was clear. Like the others, she walked with purpose, staying alert. As the lift then took them back to the main level she felt no compulsion to break the momentary silence, but stayed ready to stop anyone who tried to stop them. Isaiah Quinn Jovireh Velal

[ Hezula - VIP Area] Even the sight of Mr Tuxedo obeying her instructions did little to quell the burning anger within. She should of known that one of her rivals would take advantage of the situation to steal her most valuable asset, rather than play fair by paying good latinum for it at the auction. Naturally it made her wonder if others were in on it and yet hoped that by triggering the silent alarm attached to her personal device, that she could catch them, unless they were stupid enough to be caught red handed. As Tuxedo picked up drinks and attempted to get her to stay. Hezula became torn as he was like a drug that she couldn't get enough of. Pausing momentarily as she considered what he had said before he continued and she accepted the drink from him. Finally she looked at him, making a decision that would satisfy her need to check the safe and to stay with Tuxedo. Besides her staff could take care of it, after all what was the point of having guards if they didn't do their job properly. " You make an excellent point and perhaps it was some kind of error" she began as she gently moved him over to the sofa. " I'll send a couple of guards to check everything out, so I can get to stay with you and indulge in that pleasure you spoke about until the auction starts".Kissing him, Hezula stepped back slightly as she activated her personal comm, whilst she waited for Tuxedo to sit so she could straddle him. =H= Brutus, take Oska, Lurin and Agella back to my suite and check the safe, as it looks like someone might of tried to break into it =H= =H= Straightaway Mistress =H= With that taken care of, Hezula returned her attention to Grossman with a wicked look of desire on her face.
