Personal History
Early Life/Pre-Starfleet Career: Rylonis was born on the Trill homeworld. As a child Rylonis had a great time, she had lots of friends and was really easy to get along with. She really went out of her way to be a people pleaser since she herself enjoyed having friends a lot, but when she got older, that was when she learned that you couldn't please everyone. It was when she joined the Trill Science Ministry that she learned what 'competition' in regards to grading and trying to be top of the class. She learned that not everyone can be friends, and there are those who would attempt to undermine one's efforts.
But she adapted and persevered, even applying to be a host for a Symbiont when the oppotuniry arrose, though that would be sometime out. But they did start testing her and seeing if she was a worthy candidate. She's still waiting to find out.
Upon graduating from the Trill Science Ministry at 18 years old, she went on to join Starfleet Academy, informing her family that she wanted to see more and go where she could help. So she signed up.
Academy/Technical Academy (if Starfleet): Rylonis joined Starfleet Academy at 18 years old, joining the Science department. Her specialty was in Archaeology and a minor in Anthropology and learning about races based on things left behind. She seemed to fit in more at Starfleet Academy than she did at the Ministry, this allowed her to flourish and really show what she was capable of. She made many friends within her classes, and even found it easier to succeed in her endevours.
Shortly after rooming with someone else, who had what the humans called a 'cat', she discovered she liked these small furry creatures, and went out and adopted a kitten of her own.
The first two years went great for her, but then she'd received word that her mother had gotten sick and didn't survive. Back on her homeworld her mother had been the one she'd been closest to, so this hit her hard. The few good friends she had tried to console her, but she started to get in a rut, her grades began to fall. All this one year before she was supposed to graduate. Though it took time, she pulled out of the rut, but not before she was going to have to attend the academy for one more year to make up for her grades falling so far behind.
She successfully graduated at 22 years old.
Previous Assignments (if applicable): Upon graduating Rylonis was assigned to the USS Catglove, where she served as a science officer. There wasn't much for her to do, as they weren't really exploring any unknown space, but as soon as the opportunity came up, her captain offered to the chance to reassign to the 'Front Ear', which she happily, al biet excitedly, accepted.

Rylonis' heart was pounding as she made her way through the halls of the Academy. Today was graduation, and she was having issues containing her excitement, but she knew she must as it was still a few hours before the celebration. Her friends had invited her to a small party they had put together as a smaller just them kind of celebration. Upon arriving she smiled as her friends were gathered and having a couple of drinks while socializing and having a good time.
She walked over to a table with snacks and drinks on it and got herself some chips and a drink of fruit punch. "Rylo!" a familiar voice called behind her and she turned around to promptly be hugged, spilling some of her drink on the floor. "Hey Alorn," Rylonis greeted her Betazoid friend. They were the one hosting this event. She smiled as he pulled away and looked at him. "I shouldn't have expected anything less for a party from you Alorn, after all, you're always quite fond of making people happy," she says as she refilled her drink.
"Awww, don't be like that Rylo, this simply was for the fun. While feeding off other race's emotions is fun, or hearing the thoughts of someone excited to be alone with another person as well, this really was just for our class to get together one last time before we graduate and receive our first assignments," he said with a fake pouty frown. Rylonis rolled her eyes as she took a long gulp from her fruit punch. "I promise Rylo, friends business only," he said, trying to assure her.
"It's fine Alorn, I knew you were hosting, if I was really worried about it, I wouldn't have come in the first place," she says with a soft smile. "That being said, I need to go and finish packing. Have fun!" she said, leaning over and kssing his cheek softly, before leaving the party and going back to her own room to continue packing.
