Name: Requiem (Potential for multi-parts, later tie-ins)
Type: Mission
Location: An uncharted planetoid just outside the Melkon System
Synopsis: What appears to be an uncharted planetoid is discovered just outside the Melkon system. After being sent to investigate, the USS Mac sends down an away team to investigate. Upon beaming down, the away team soon discovers that this isn't just some random planetoid, but what appears to be a massive grave site. As their investigation continues, they begin to discover that this 'planetoid' has some actual connection to several planets in the region including Kerelia.
Meanwhile, the presence of the Mac itself has somehow triggered a probe that was dormant in orbit of the planet. The probe is persistent in collecting information from the Mac. Yet, the probe isn't easily disabled. The probe eventually attaches itself to the hull of the Mac, but is hardly satisfied with what it can learn from outside of the ship and seeks learn the secrets within as well.
Start Point: The Mac in orbit of the planetoid, just as the away team beams down.
Conclusion: Successful removal of the probe from the hull, and retrieving the away team, but no guarantees of either being done without casualties.
Departments required:
