Name: Proxy
Synopsis: A civilian freighter rushes to Front Ear Station asking for asylum. They insist that they were attacked and are being purused by the Gorn. Shortly after the Gorn arrive, but surprisingly take a diplomatic approach in requesting justice. In hopes of building upon the diplomatic gesture, a small number of Gorn representatives are invited aboard the station. However, not all of the stations inhabitants are as welcoming to their latest visitors. Meanwhile, an enlightened Gorn commander decides to take advantage of Federation hospitality and what it knows of Terran culture and requests justice in the form of a proxy: a life sacrificed for the (Gorn) life lost. A decision must be rendered between sparing the life of a citizen or forging a potential alliance with an old enemy.
Other relevant notes:
*The freigher was mining on a planet that the Gorn claim is one that they have annexed, though this is no recorded declaration. The Tholian Assembly may be aware of it, but have not elected to share the information with anyone else. The Gorn are looking to establish a colony there... breaking their long stint of seclusion.
*Colonel S'lal is the Gorn commander. She is warrior caste and oddly familiar with some of Terran culture. She will likely reference certain works, and asks for justice by proxy by referring to the old Earth adage: "an eye for an eye." While respected by her crew, some believe she is not fit for the prestige with is within her reach: the chance to rise to the rank of general. Though, a failure here will likely crush her chances of ever obtaining such an honor.
*Sub-colonel S'Xohlik is S'lal's direct subordinate finds humans contemptable. He believes that humans are fragile and hide behind their numbers. He appreciates competition in any form, but is a sore loser.
Name: Trojan
Synopsis: Answering a distress call, the Mac encounters a ship that was damaged an ion storm they encountered, after veering off their traditional route in pursuit of a short cut. An away team is sent over to assist with injuries and repairs. While there, a cannister in the cargo hold is damaged and begins to release a bio-engineered neuro-virus. Members of the ship's crew want to evacuate, but that could only lead to additional contamination. There's a race to develop an anti-toxin, as well as attempt to maintain order as the crew grows restless about remaining in a literal death trap.
Other relevant notes: (Virus... too soon?)
*It's a virus that is airborne and it is communicable. Some alien species are more susceptible than others. Because the virus mimics some toxins found in insect venom, Trill may suffer worse or accelerated symptoms.
*The recipient of this "cargo" is under some pseudonym, but the destination of delivery is Front Ear Station.
Name: Call of Duty
Synopsis: No one has ever questioned why there was a Nyberrite Alliance recruitment office on the Promenade... at least not until there was an alarming number of recruits, several of which were resignations from Starfleet. Suspicious of the allure, several people are asked to infiltrate to see what they can learn. Imagine their surprise when they learn its a front for entry into the criminal organization that had been growing on the station.
Other relevant notes:
*This wouldn't be the actual Nyberrite Alliance. Simply a few members taking advantage of their noteriety as a cover, and siphoning the talent within for the organization.
*Best I could ascertain is that the Nyberrite Alliance seems like the French Foreign Legion. After all, Worf was going to join before ultimately deciding to stay on DS9.
(*No idea what plans you all have for these criminals or how long they'd be a presence on the station, but... meh.)
