Format: Open Event
This is an experimental event format designed to allow for open exploration of a setting/event. The event plot will be more situational than linear, and will benefit from open collaboration. The primary feature of this format is one central thread with the opportunity for at-will branching threads.
The Open Event is a chance to participate in a loose central event, and/or further character development and side plots. Think of it as a combination of Downtime and Event.
Structure
Just remember: this is an experiment. It's intended to be a chill format for characters to explore, decompress, or get into trouble. We'll all do our best to have fun, communicate, and be flexible.

Structure
- The open event plot is loose. Characters can explore the city, or take part in a twist.
- The premise and setting will be established in a central thread.
- The central thread is also where action in a primary location will take place, like a plaza.
- Writers may make their own branching threads, like if you want to explore another part of the city or settle in at a game of chess in the park.
- The GM may periodically post in the branching threads to sync things up with the central thread, or provide twists.
- Characters may move between threads.
- Collaboration will be key. Let's keep an open dialog in Discord.
- About each week, the GM will do a Discord summary to make sure all branching threads are coordinating in a fun way.
