[Front Ear – Casino]
Tom sat on the chair in the Casino of Front Ear in which he was playing blackjack. It was an ancient earth game in which the goal is to get to or close to 21 and not getting over the cards. Tom raised a glass of his scotch whiskey as he took a sip of the drink. Even though it was supposed to be top self, it felt to burn a little more than usual and the flavor seemed a little too intense.
As he finished the sip. He wondered why he was at the Casino wasting his money. He was pretty sure that most of the games on this one was rigged against the players. Then he remembered he was here for the item. It took him a while to get as far as he did but he was heading somewhere.
“Mr. Jett?” The dealer asked.
Tom was in thought for a second as he was thinking of the ultimate goal that he failed to realized it was his turn. He looked at the top card and it was a 7. The then looked at the bottom one and observed a 5. 12 He thought as he look at the dealers had. The Dealer top card was a 6. So Tom figured that he was showing a potential busting hand.
It was a moment to show your personality. Tom looked at the dealer and tossed extra chips on the table. “Double Down” . He said with authority. As he finished his statement a young blonde female figure appeared. From the spots she appeared to the trill and sat next to him. She then gently placed her hands behind his back and whispered to him “Give me my money, Tom”.
Tom smiled at her and raised his finger to indicate he needed an extra second. As the card came in Jett obtained a 5. The dealer revealed his card which was a J and he drew another card which was a K.
Busted the man Though.
As he won the match the turned to the woman and gave her all his winning. “Here is your latinum…now the intel…please” Tom said with a frustrated tone. The female Trill pickup her chip and placed her on the breast area and then smiled and responded “The item is Lot 24601 and it will be auction off in the ….Black Auction”
Tom smiled as he appeared frustrated. “The Black Auction? Heh, you know…”.
The Woman interrupted him before he finished and responded “Yeah, the most dangerous one and the one that you need an invite in. I found the item, it’s up to you to get it.”
Jett took another sip of his drink and asked “And how am I supposed to get in?” As he finished he smiled as he figured the intel was useless without access.
The woman merely kissed him on the check and responded “Your problem not mine”

[PO3 Jovireh Velal - Front Ear - Crew Quarters]This really wasn't what she had been expecting when summoned to a briefing with Captain Eastman and Commander Harmon. While she appreciated the trust they were putting in her abilities, she had never gone undercover before. But after a little bit of convincing, she finally agreed. After spending the night reviewing all the information they had on one Thomas Jett, her plan began to materialize itself. While it was his criminal background that concerned command, it was his psychological profile she took the most interest in, and that was what she used to form her cover identity. She'd went with a simple copper chestnut wig, a style of loose waves cascading around her shoulders. Doctor Baker had successfully concealed the tattoo on her back, allowing her the freedom of choice for whatever outfit looked best on her. Dresses and skirts were out of the question, but she knew how to enhance attractiveness and 'sex appeal' without those. So she'd replicated a pair of figure-flattering black leather pants, each leg with a split up the seam so the fabric flowed around her calves as she walked. A pair of black heels that laced up the front... And a rather low cut red and black top. A necklace of gold and garnet, a matching bracelet, and a gold belt around her waist. The makeup was a bit more of a challenge, but eventually she had perfected an enticing look of rose-gold that compliment her complexion as well as her outfit. After closely examining her reflection in the full-length mirror, satisfied she didn't recognize herself, she fasted the covert com device Harmon had provided her. "Bremmer, I'm on my way to the casino. Need anything before we start?" Once she was inside, it would be communications silence unless she got in trouble. Their com link would remain open at all times as they wouldn't necessarily be able to keep each other in sight, and they had prearranged words and phrases to use if the need arose. While Jovireh had worked with a partner plenty of times, it had never been in this type of scenario, and she had never worked with Crewman Bremmer. Obviously command felt the other woman to be the perfect choice, and Jov was doing her best to trust them on that. [Casino] The longer she walked along the corridors of the station, the more comfortable she became in the heels and revealing outfit. There were plenty of stares as she passed, conversations pausing as heads turned to follow her. A small smile lifted her painted lips. Perhaps she would enjoy this assignment after all. Entering the casino had a similar affect, though there were plenty whom were too focused on their games to notice anyone else. It wasn't difficult to spot her target at the blackjack table, but she held off on approach, waiting for Bremmer's confirmation that she was in position. So instead she sauntered over to the bar, leaning against the surface just far enough that the collar of her top sank slightly lower. "Uttaberry wine, please," she ordered, her voice maintaining an air of sultry confidence she didn't use very often. As the glass was set in front of her, she gave the bartender a suggestive smile and turned to face the room, taking a small sip before letting the glass dangle comfortably from her fingers.

[ Cwm Eliska Bremmer - Crew Quarters, Front Ear Station ]For our sins, may be be grateful for that we are about to receive. That was the thought going through Eliska Bremmer's mind as she was preparing herself. As a very junior enlisted member of the Starfleet, she was susceptible to being handed all sorts of tasks. But the one coming her way was generally one that would be handled by someone with more seniority and experience, but as the case may be, she was deemed to be a more suitable choice than many others. Apparently, her close-combat scores were high enough to put her on the short list for the job of providing close backup for an undercover operation, as carrying a phaser would have been impossible. Also, she was considered to be suitably attractive to males and some females of several species to make them lower their guard to some degree and not view her as a threat. Apparently, the others who were considered for that job were either too recognizable, or hardly the kind to be able to worm their way into that particular event. So, she had dressed as comfortably as she could, while maintaining a sufficiently attractive outlook. She was wearing a pair of tan slacks that was anything but, and made of a suitably stretchy material as to allow her to move freely should she need to. From the waist up, she had chosen a black bustier that would put what she knew were rather... limited assets on the best possible display while leaving her trim midriff bare, and a matching jacket, worn open of course. After all, she had to be able to get folks' attention, keep eyes in her direction if she could... After she had braided and coiled her hair on the back of her head, she elected to wear on her left ear, a piece of jewelry that conveniently pressed a bone conduction earpiece to her head, and she affixed the discreet transmitter to the inside of her collar. She was as ready as she was going to be, when a channel was opened by the primary operative for their mission. "Hey Jov. I'm just about ready to head out. Make sure you keep your eyes on the prize, and not on me," she responded, grinning at her end. "Bremmer out." [ Casino ]The footwear she had chosen was light and comfortable, but still stylish enough to pass in a place where dressing up would have been the norm. Of course, heels might have been more suitable, and in entertainment they were all the rage for a femme fatale, but obviously those who dreamed up those notions never had to walk in them, let alone fight. As she stepped off the turbolift on the way to the casino, her stride had become lighter, less purposeful, closer to strolling, and taking full advantage of the grace with which her well-muscled heavy-gravity physiology let her move in a mere 1g. Upon her entrance, her eyes quickly sought out the crowd, and it was only because she knew precisely who she was looking for that she recognized Velal through her makeup and her wig, and she let out a satisfied sigh as she made her way not to the main bar but a secondary one from where she could watch her partner's back, and knowing there was an open commlink to the empath, she spoke the pre-arranged phrase that would let her know she as in position. "Do you have Betazoid honey liqueur?"Game on.

[Front Ear - Promenade – Casino] Tom sat as his table as he obtained his winnings. As the beautiful informant kissed him on the check and left. Jett was left thinking about the next step in the process. The item in question was in the black market but now is to find a ticket for the ship. The former Starfleet Officer has heard rumors about this Black-Market area. It was a ship that you were suppose to leave and would take you outside of Federation Space. Once you are there since Starfleet Law did not operate the bidding would begin. There were rumors at one point that the clone of Elvis Presley was auction off. Although, Tom wondered if it was true how they did obtain his DNA. He looked at the dealer and only said one word. “Arkham” Tom camly said to the dealer. He took his chips and gave the signal that he was heading out of the table. The Dealer confused asked him “What do you mean?”. With a feint smile, Jett only responded “Y’know what I mean. Arkham tickets” . The Dealer turned white as a ghost and pale as he did not know how to respond to his request. He then pointed to the Bar area as a signal to direct his inquiries there. As Tom cashed in his winning he began approaching the bar. He observed a woman with leather pants and copper hair. It looked perfect and she appeared to be sitting drinking a glass of Uttabery Wine. As Tom approached the bar he asked “Do you mind if I sit here?” . He asked the woman. As he approached the Bartender and raised his hands. He looked at her drink and smiled. He recognized the Wine and made a slight comment “It’s ok. But trust me in this place I would have the Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa. . He waited for a couple a seconds and the Bartender focused on another customer and Jett would have tried to whisper to her ear “It’s all replicated” As he finished he gave a smile. It took a couple of seconds for the Bartender to approach Jett and asked him. “What can I get for you?” Jett then looked at the person next to him and said “Uttabery Wine, please.” . As he finished we waited for a second before his second request. Tom had no interest in the drink and was thinking of giving it to the lady next to him. He was just acting his part. “Arkham” . Tom said. As the Bartender froze. He dropped the wine glass as it was obvious that he was uncomfortable. As the glass shattered in the ground. The room which was bustling with sounds was in silence. It was also that a taboo word was mentioned. The bartender ignored the glass with the wine in the floor and looked at Jett. “No can do…if y’know the word…y’know the rules. Delegations only and it appears you are all alone” The Bartender said with a smile. “I can take care of myself” Tom said looking at this eyes directly. I need to find more people Tom thought. [PO3 Jovireh Velal - Front Ear - Casino]Perching elegantly on a barstool, she took another small sip of wine, wishing she was able to order something stronger. But while a glass of whiskey did not exactly match her character, she would also have to feign increasing intoxication with every drink she ordered. That was a bit more acting than she was currently prepared for. So the fruity wine it was, and thankfully she had enough to focus on to keep her thoughts from trailing to the last time she had drank it. It was only a few moments before she heard Eliska's voice in her ear, and she gave a small smile as she surveyed the room in front of her. "Here's to a good night," she replied with her own pre-determined phrase, lifting her glass and taking a deeper drink. To anyone who may have heard her, it would have simply looked like she was musing to herself while deciding which game to start with. She had been planning on watching a few moments longer, giving the man at the blackjack table a chance to get into another round, when a sudden spike in emotions from that very table caught her attention. Her gaze flicked over just in time to see the dealer point to the bartender, followed by Jett standing and making his way over. Apparently he'd said something that the dealer hadn't been too happy with... It was difficult to miss the way the approaching man looked at her, and she offered him a coy smile from around the rim of her glass. Sure enough, he stopped next to her, asking for permission to sit. "It's a public establishment," she replied simply, maintaining an air of slight indifference in both expression and tone. He then decided to critique her choice of wine, which she didn't react to. Somehow she even managed to remain motionless as he leaned in to whisper in her ear, in spite of feeling his breath move the hair of her wig. Jov could feel her adrenaline start to rise, but she kept her gaze focused forward and took another sip without a word. It wouldn't do for her to appear overly interested in him; at least not yet. As he ordered his own glass of uttaberry wine, she allowed one eyebrow to raise in skeptical amusement. Trying to impress her? He was making this too easy. Then he spoke a word she was unfamiliar with - one that resulted in the bartender dropping the wine glass he'd been holding, and the room around them falling silent. Well, that was very telling. She'd have to remember to give that bit of information to Harmon as soon as she got out of here. The bartender was swift to refuse whatever Jett was asking for, for reasons that included him being alone. While she had no idea what qualified as a delegation, she wondered how easily she'd be able to get him to tell her. "Sounds like you're missing something," she spoke at last, her tone of voice suggesting she knew more than she was letting on. Swiveling the stool so that she was facing him, she allowed the side of her laced boot to brush against his leg. "Perhaps that's something I can help you find."Tag Thomas Jett ; soft tags Eliska Bremmer Judith Eastman Matthew Harmon

[ Cwm Eliska Bremmer - Casino, Front Ear Station ]It hadn't taken very long between Eliska giving the signal she was in position for her to receive the agreed-upon reply. And frankly, they'd made a point to arrange for their signals to be suitably innocuous in their current environment as to not raise any eyebrows, yet deliberate enough to cut through the background noise. After all, 'John has a long moustache', "Eagle has landed' or other similarly cryptic and totally unrelatable phrases would really come across as odd in a bloody casino. And now that contact had been established, well, the Crewman in disguise now had to deal with the bartender who'd been there to take her order. "Betazed honey liqueur? We don't get much call for that here. A bit mellow, if you know what I'm saying? How about something a bit more suited to a pretty lady having a fun night? How about... a Samarian Sunset? Pretty drink for a pretty lady, no?"Oh, Bremmer certainly could see what the bartender was doing. Trying to butter her up, and get her ordering the more expensive cocktails. And the Sunset, too sweet for her taste; she would need something else to get past that taste... and if she was presenting the image of a girl out to party, she had just the right kind of out. That, and her heavy-gravity metabolism would be quite the asset. Even on a regular, fairly sedentary day at regular gravity, she needed better than half again the regular caloric intake of a human of her build. On a day with a heavier physical workload, she could need anywhere from four to five thousand calories. And, just as her internal furnace required a prodigious amount of fuel, her metabolism processed alcohol a lot faster and it required a truly staggering quantity to get her drunk. "Sounds good. And a shot of Salacian tequila. No lime, no salt."That would start her looking like a proper party girl all right.

[Fron Ear – Promenade – Casino] Tom sat next to the person that had the chestnut hair. As he spoke the name of the legendary ship in which the black-market auction would take place. He had confirmed that the item was there but the next step is to get passage on the ship. Tom was hardly surprised that he could not come alone as rarely individual had enough money to buy their big items. Their target area was government, syndicates and organizations. They were rumors that they auction all items outside of Federation Space. Flashback ** 2378 ** “C’mon, Captain Clark give me authority to work with Starfleet Intelligence and head as a Representative of the United Federation of Planets to the Arkham” Tom asked as he paced on his ready room. Jett has heard rumors about this Blackmarket and wondered if there was anything related to the Icarus. From the viewscreen was his friend and a Captain in Starfleet Intelligence. “Tom, y’know I can’t do that. For once we don’t have any intel that there is anything related on the Icarus. Second y’know Starfleet does not condone this type of market. It’s bad enough that they exist because it’s outside of Federation space. We can’t have a representative of the United Federation of Planet it will legitimize them. So the answer it’s no. I’m sorry Tom. I know this is about Anna, but I still have to do my job” As he finished the screen turned black. [Present Day] Tom heard the woman as she overheard that he might need a delegation which means people and a organization to represent. Making the organization would be easy as he could imitate several syndicates. The second part was the manpower. Hindsight he should not have let his crew leave in shore leave because right now he would need them to act like his team. He smiled and said “I appreciate the gesture. But, I think you don’t know what you are sinning up people for”. . He then slide his second glass of wine as it was obvious that he was not going to drink it. The bartender nodded and responded “You don’t know what he is sinning up for” Tom then looked down and said “Besides, we need another person and this is a multi-day event. And also I will be busy and don’t have the time to baby seat people. Unless you happen to know security trained personnel that aren’t Starfleet that are looking to get hired. I don’t think you can help me. This is not exactly a date. By the way…love the pants” As he finished he began walking away as he though he needed to assemble a team to Arkham. [PO3 Jovireh Velal - Front Ear - Casino]Bremmer's voice in her ear would have made her sigh had she not been maintaining a poker face. Lucky her got to have fun with the hard stuff. Jov instead took another sip of her wine, noticing her glass was already half empty, but unsure if she should order a second one or not. She listened intently as Jett explained what it was that he needed. 'Non-Starfleet security trained people', hmm? That should be easy enough to come up with, if the Captain and Commander Harmon didn't mind being short a handful of people for a few days. It seemed like this operation might be a lot more intensive than she had initially planned for. While she knew she should likely clear continuance with command before making any promises, she wasn't about to let her target dismiss her and walk away so easily. "I may not know what I'm signing up for..." she called after him. Not desperately, no, but with a voice of authority that suggested he listen to what she said. "But you clearly don't know who I am."Okay, so maybe changing her cover identity on the fly wasn't the greatest idea in the world, but part of the reason they chose her waa her ability to adapt to new information, right? She slid slowly off the barstool, wine glass dangling from her fingertips once more as she stepped slowly towards him. "If it's people you want... Just tell me how many, and when and where they need to be. We can discuss prices later." Each deliberate step brought her a little closer to him, but she didn't stop in front of him. Rather, she took another couple steps as though about to walk by, pausing when she was shoulder to shoulder with him. She turned her head just enough so she could lower her voice into a sultry near-whisper by his ear. "Play your cards right... I might let you admire these pants up close."The seed had been planted, now it was up to him. Any further attempts to convince him to include her would only raise suspicion. So she continued to move forward in the same slow, deliberate pace, winding her way towards the blackjack table he had been sitting at earlier.
At the other bar, a gruff and slurred voice spoke from beside Eliska. "Where have you been all my life, angel?" It belonged to a short and scruffy human male, who looked as though he had been wearing a nice suit but had started to undress as the warmth of the alcohol took its toll. Tie pulled down, shirt half untucked, he didn't even seem to notice. "Have you ever... Ever been to the... The... The Celestial Temple? Because you... Wow... You are as be-eau-tiful as... As... A... Wormhole!" It was clearly meant to be flattering, though in his current drunken state he likely didn't even remember what a wormhole looked like.

[ Cwm Eliska Bremmer - Casino, Front Ear Station ]The bartender had been quick to provide the drinks that slender customer had requested. The Samarian Sunset was one of those drinks that was a pain in the arse to make on a good day, and not the kind any barkeep worth the name liked doing too often on a busy night. Too many ingredients, too many techniques, too touchy, too time consuming. However, any bartender worth the name also knew that now and again one had to make a show of things. Especially for the kind of customer who'd attract others. Like that pretty thing. And the fact she also ordered just a simple slug of a liquor was also a good thing. With her drinks before her, Eliska considered what she was dealing with. And, pasting a smile upon her face, she picked up the Sunset and took a sip of it. Then another... And she slugged back the shot of tequila and while the burn was making its way down to her stomach, she heard a somewhat grating, rather nasal voice behind her. And when she turned around, she had half-expected to find a Ferengi, but she instead found the next best thing. The man was about the same height as the average Ferengi male... but immensely more heavily padded than even the fattest Ferengi she had ever seen. And that voice was making some of the worst come-ons she had ever heard. And while she most certainly had had lovers before, of more than one gender for that matter, but she had always been choosy with who she took to bed... and while appearances and labels were not an essential criteria, that sort of approach, slurred and from such a disheveled mess of a human, was so far beneath her standards that she had to actually fight to keep her drink down. "Prosim?"[fn]Beg your pardon, in Czech[/fn]" she fairly blurted out.

Harmon had decided to bring Chloe along to the command centre that had been established in the conference room. It wasn't often that they ran undercover operations like this, so it was a good opportunity for her to watch and learn.
Bremmer and Velal had proven themselves to be decently competent, and while these sorts of missions would generally be given to someone with more experience, they couldn't take the risk of them being recognised, hence the decision to select the more junior, less high profile two women and dress them in copious amounts of cosmetics.
He raised a suprised eyebrown when the Captain commented on Velal's pants. "I'm more interested in that tuxedo Jett's wearing. Not exactly his usual attire. He looks like a treason pengwing," he said, comparing the tuxedo to a penguin, a word that he had always struggled to pronounce properly. "A what?" Chloe laughed. "A...pengwing...shut up," he responded with a frown before turning his attention back to the video screens. "What's she doing?" exclaimed Chloe as Velal appeared to go off script. "Adapting. It's fine," he said simply. "We're going to need to find the Arkham."

[Capt. Judith Eastman(-Williams) & Lt. j.g. Mabel Henriksen - Conference Room 2]Judy stoically kept a straight face as the Intel officer stumbled over the name of a certain Antarctic animal, while Mabel buried her face in her palms. "At his age, he's really better off out of the tight pants," Judy said of Jett, tactfully gliding away from his atrocious pronunciation. "You know, at a certain age, a man just has to embrace dad jeans or khakis."Khakis, like the ones Bremmer was wearing. Speaking of whom... "Bremmer is going to have to shake him off somehow," she lamented. They could theoretically send station security to annoy him, but that was far, far, more trouble than it was worth. "Would be nice if he just waddled away," Mabel quipped, alluding, once again, to pengwings.

[Casino Front Ear] Tom listened to the woman, and it appeared that he had his chance to get the item. The woman seemed to offer a group for him. For a charge, of course. In the back of his mind, he wondered if this was a set up from another black market individual all the way to Starfleet. Regardless, he had to take the risk. If he lost that item, his investigation would be damaged and perhaps unrecoverable. Tom looked at the alcohol and wonder if he was willing to cast the die. “I might not know you or what you are capable of. But I know you might get yourself killed, and I am not in the mood to babysit someone. I am on a mission” . The die was cast even if she was a trap, which he believes she might be. He remembered one of his lessons from Command College. The first step to avoid a trap. Is to know that there is one. “I’ll hold you to that about the pants” . He responded with a smile as he leaned closer to her ears. He was unsure if she was trying to play him or not, but he would play his role in the game. He gets what he wants and needs, and she gets what she needs. He just needed to figure out if she was going to try and kill him later. Tom was confident that if it were a trap, she would have need information from him. If she wanted to kill him, she probably already had an opening. As long as he kept his cards near his chest, he would at least survive the auction. Item 24601 He needed to see it once. He turned to the bartender and nodded, and he gave the Bartender a Coin. The Bartender faced him and continued to look nervous. “Are you sure? There is no turning back.” The bartender looked at the woman, as well. Tom remained silent and stoic and nodded in the affirmative. Gorion had given him the coin and the contact. He wondered the day that he would need to pay him back for all his favors. Tom looked down as he appeared to be nervous about the situation both Arkham and a team that he did not know or the trust was perilous even for himself. The Bartender informed them, “Private Docking Bay 2 in two hours. Y’know the rules? Tom nodded . “Yeah, no tracking devices and any sign of a government stop or interference the Arkham are out. I won’t try any funny business,” Tom said to the Bartender. He knew if anyone even tried to stop the ship or do anything out of the norm, the deal would be off, and he would have to start all over again finding the next docking point of the Arkham. The Bartender asked, “Reservations?” “Bidder, Thomas Jett of the Falcon. Delegation: Free Merchant Criminal Syndicate. Handler:” Tom stopped and looked at the woman next to him. This would be the last chance for her to back out. One thing for sure they needed to get ready ASAP. Tag Jovireh Velal Soft Eliska Bremmer

[PO3 Jovireh Velal - Front Ear - Casino]What was that old human expression? Bait, line and tackle. She stopped in her tracks when Jett spoke from behind her, clarifying that he would not be responsible for any casualties. Her lips lifted in a sly smile as she pivoted to face him once more, stepping back over to him in the same deliberate pace. "Don't worry so much. We take care of our own." She purred reassuringly as she stopped beside him. He leaned closer to inform her she'd be held to the comment about her pants. Jovireh didn't respond, but lifted an amused eyebrow. He'd have to play his cards right first. That had been the deal. When he walked back over to the bar, she followed, staying just close enough that she could hear everything that was being said. If only she could get a closer look at the object Jett handed over... From her position it looked like some sort of coin, but she was unable to see what was printed on the face. She was grateful to hear there was no mentioned ban on weapons. Obviously Starfleet issue was out of the question, but perhaps they'd be able to requisition some knives at the very least. The two men went over the reservations, and Jett paused at the mention of handler, looking over his shoulder at her. "Eve." She replied simply. It wasn't the most formidable name in the world, but was at least Human, and in her opinion carried an air of mystery with it. Hoping that was everything needed from her at the moment, she finished the rest of her wine and set the glass on the bar, then placed her hand on Jett's shoulder. "I'll go get my people ready. We'll meet you at the dock in two hours."Then she was walking away, forcing herself to maintain an unhurried pace as she made her way for the exit. "Time to call it a night," she spoke quietly, hoping Bremmer was paying enough attention to catch the phrase indicating she was leaving the casino. Jovireh didn't stop walking until she had reached the turbolift and the doors sealed shut behind her, providing h er the first breath of privacy she'd had all night. Tapping the panel on the wall, she activated the com link. =A="Velal to Captain Eastman. There's been a change in plans. We need to talk."=A=
The man at the other bar seemed completely oblivious to Eliska's repulsion and stepped closer, slumping sideways against the bar as he gazed at her with a glazed expression. "I have no idea what that means... But it sounds pretty." His head lolled to the side to try and find the bartender. "A shot for me and the pretty lady here!" He ordered before sliding closer to Eliska. "Whatever you want, darling. I'm on a roll tonight."

{Click here for a breakdown of Captain Eastman's Staff} Judith Eastman-Williams, PhD Mabel HenriksenRoland L. Jenkins [Capt. Judith Eastman(-Williams) & Staff - Conference Room 2]Velal seemed to be playing her cards right, getting them closer to the mark. "Good old-fashioned human intelligence getting us there," she said to Harmon, approvingly. HUMINT was his specialty, and they now had a path to the Arkham. She looked up at the sound of footsteps. It was PO Jenkins, her new yeoman (Mabel had been elevated to the civilian-sounding title of Executive Assistant). He was in his duty uniform, but his neatly coiffed hair looked a little extra formal. "Mr. Jenkins, I thought you had plans," she greeted him with that friendly smile. She'd allowed him the night off, to go on what she believed was a date. "My plans got cancelled, ma'am," Roland explained, not quite wanting to admit publicly (or to his boss in private, for that matter) that his date blew him off. The conversation was interrupted by the comm call from Velal. =A= "Acknowledged. You and Bremmer meet me in Conference Room 2 in 15 minutes. Eastman out," =A= she ordered. She stood up, a gesture made much easier by just how lousy the chair was, and began to issue orders. "Ms. Hudson, Mr. Jenkins, I want you to see what you can do with the cleaning bots. I'd like to fit two of them with surveillance equipment, and one with smoke bombs, if you can make that happen, just in case these schmucks pull some funny business. Mr. Harmon, try to get us some extra people to put on the team, whoever's available, and make sure they have aliases ready. Let's get them at least one more person. Mabel, go through the weapons we've seized, get our team armed with something other than fleet equipment," she dispensed instructions. "I can help any of you, but I'm also going to make sure nobody's going to go into this op hungry. Empty stomachs make empty minds."With herself here, and Max at work, she was going to place a catering order with the Blue Beta. 1 hr 57 mins later [Capt. Judith Eastman(-Williams) & Staff - Conference Room 2]Everything was carried out without issue, and the home-made bourekas Judy had made earlier were replaced with catered food. Of that, currently left over was a sizable number of hot dogs in a bun, one of which Judy held in her hand as she watched security cam footage of the entrance to docking bay 2. The team was set to meet Jett, and the cleaning bots were already inside.
