[Durwot, son of Sh’root - Blue Beta Bar and Grill]
Durwot growled back at the human as he further insulted his honour. "I challenge you to a duel!" he said as the pathetic man tried desperately to keep the gagh down. He was then pulled out of his tunnel vison focus on that human by an order from Klopar to leave. It seems Starfleet had sent interlopers. No doubt they knew that their people would lose any inevitable scuffle with the mighty Klingon trio. "This isn't over, human!" he declared, before sculling the rest of his bloodwine, a decent portion of which seemed to miss his mouth, and then storming off after Klopar. [ SCPO Melihn Ryah - Blue Beta --> CO's Office] Oh, this was turning into a potential disaster - a challenge from a Klingon to a human, a teenaged Trill involved somehow, whom Ryah took a moment to eyeball, (must be new on the station, Ryah thought), and now Avi Moz showing up for some reason. Yup, disaster all around, but thankfully, the Klingon captain acknowledged Ryah and commanded her people to follow. Ryah turned and trotted ahead, knowing that the Klingons wouldn't have any difficulty keeping up with her short stride. In short order, the odd group was back outside the captain's office and Ryah was ringing the chime and stepping aside to allow the others to enter first. [NPC - PO1 S'Riia - CO's Office --> EnRoute to Promenade, Front Ear Station ] It appeared that calmer heads had prevailed... if Klingons could even be accused of being calm. Perhaps it was better to say that they had grown weary of this little exchange. At least the Klingon that had challenged Commander Ellis to a gagh-eating match. It actually took every bit of training for S'Riia not to vomit herself at the sight of them both eating a handful of those squiggly worms. The important thing, as far as S'Riia was concerned, was that order had been restored. The Klingons seemed prepared to meet with Captain Eastman finally, the Trill girl appeared to be okay, if not a little rattled, and no property had been damaged. Thus far, paper work for vandalism had been avoided. It was always such a tedious process in its own right. S'Riia stood by as Chief Melihn took point in escorting the Klingons to the Captain. Jenkins appeared to be staying behind. As she moved past him, S'Riia glanced at him before shaking her head slowly. [Capt. Judith Eastman(-Williams) & Capt. Klopar, daughter of Krak - Commanding Officer's Office, Front Ear Station]The door came open, and in came the group, led by Klopar. Judy left her crocheting (the corgi was now complete, and she'd just started a second), and rose to greet them. "Captain. Congratulations on your promotion," the human said to the Klingon, in a manner that indicated they knew each other, friendly but not gushing with affection. "On yours as well," Klopar reciprocated. The two women took their seats at the conference table, motioning for the others to do the same. "As you all know, there's a sophisticated smuggling ring running from here to the Klingon Empire. We've gathered here to run a sting operation and bust them," Judy explained. "My team has contacted their leader, arranging a meet today at a location we choose. He knows we're Klingon, and he thinks we'll break Fatax out of your Brig," Klopar added, drawing a quizzical look from Judy. This was not part of the plan, but it would have to be now. The Captains looked around the table, Judy at the people, Klopar at the pizza. Then, Klopar shoved a slice into her mouth, folding it (as Judy would approve of), but chewing with her mouth open (forcing Judy to hide her disdain).

[ Jurgha, daughter of Khar - Blue Beta] [...] Jurgha stopped, and leaned down to snarl in Avi’s face. “I see you still have no honor! If you wish to challenge me, then have the courage to do it to my face! Or are you just going to crawl away like a coward?” The Starfleeters were forgotten, for the moment. There was bloodwine in her stomach and an old enemy in front of her. She was hoping Avi would choose to fight. [ Avi Moz | Blue Beta ]The situation evolved. The other Klingons and security filed out but Jurgha didn't follow as Avi had earned her complete attention. Avi didn't flinch at Jurgha's culturally compulsary challenge; she just held her ground and kept her eyeline steady. Now, Bolians had their own cultural hang-ups: strangling hospitality, repressive family obligations, ceremonial denial of the self. But unlike Klingons', Bolion hang-ups had nothing to do with honor or cowardice. Jurgha was as easy to set-off now as before, and Avi was no more polite in getting what was due her. So to hell with it. Sickbay and/or the brig was lovely this time of year. "Challenge," she said, placed her palm on Jurgha's chest, and pushed. [ Jurgha, daughter of Khar - Blue Beta] A challenge was a challenge, no matter the manner it was given in. Jurga smiled sharply. “At last, let us settle this!” she growled, staring down her foe. The Bolian was calm, collected, but Jurgha knew what a petaQ she was. Maybe Avi wanted the Starfleeters to think Jurgha attacked her unprovoked, but that would not happen. On this day she would fight honorably. And so she did not yet draw a weapon. When Avi shoved her, the solidly built Klingon barely stumbled. She snarled, then shoved Avi back harder, following up the motion by swinging a fist at her infuriating blue face.

Then, Klopar shoved a slice into her mouth, folding it (as Judy would approve of), but chewing with her mouth open (forcing Judy to hide her disdain). [Gregory Ellis - Blue Beta, Promenade]
Greg's fists clenched as he chewed. His eyes were a little too wide, his stare aimed at something off in the distance as he tried to get through the next minute, second by second, bite of juicy worm by bite of juicy worm. He would not be sick. Gregory Ellis had decided to eat this gagh, and so he would eat this goddamn gagh. Once he was sure he'd chewed enough to murder the gross beasts, he swallowed. The klingons, naturally, found the whole thing hilarious. He managed a sickly-looking grin, strangely proud of himself and not in the slightest bit willing to back down. When they began to traipse off, under orders from their boss, he was somewhat pleased that the son of Sh'root was distracted from this duel. "Farewell, future bride!" He called after them, still patting his stomach. He'd have blown a kiss, but figured that was probably pushing it a bit. As the rowdy group left, he caught sight of young Jenkins waving at him. Greg returned it, though gestured as though he was beckoning him over. Then, remembering the very reason he'd come to this table in the first place, he returned his attention to Rimi. He followed the direction of the girl's stare, noting a group of other teenagers watching from a distance. He cocked a brow, believing he'd caught the meaning behind the completely silent but heavily nuanced exchange. When Rimi asked if she could get him something, he found himself chuckling softly. "I'll be fine, though the tequila isn't a bad idea. Jack!" He raised his voice a little, though he knew the keen-eyed Irishman would have missed nothing of that little scene. Greg made a drinking motion, signaling that he needed something. A palate cleanser. Drain cleaner. Anything. "Are you okay?" He asked the young lady, his tone lighthearted. "Not every day you get accosted by gagh-wielding Klingons."[NPC - PO2 Roland L. Jenkins - Blue Beta Bar & Grill]Jenkins approached the table, slowly, cautiously. There was still an angry Klingon nearby, seemingly gearing up for a fight with Avi Moz. He didn't want to make any sudden movements. "Mr. Ellis, sir," he greeted, "Ma'am."To the timid, well-raised Roland L. Jenkins, any stranger old enough to tie their own bootlace was "sir" or "ma'am". He waited to hear Rimi's answer, but with a distinct stiffness, the kind that implied - to the Starfleet eye - that something about the situation was mission-critical. [NPC - Anna E. Williams - Blue Beta Bar & Grill]At her end of the room, Anna started to feel a little too catty for her own taste, watching and judging. This wasn't who she wanted to be, and as Rimi glared at her, she averted her eyes. She knew she was in the wrong here, and though she didn't have the courage to admit it outright, she had enough compassion to try, in her own way, to make it right; Rimi hadn't wronged her, mostly because they hadn't been assigned to do a group project together. She left her group (she was station royalty and a Valedictorian-in-waiting, her status not in doubt) and walked over to the table, where Greg, Rimi, and PO Jenkins (one more reason to be nice: he was a bit stiff) sat. "How can I help?" she offered, earnestly. The voice was almost her mother's. [ Jack - Blue Beta] He may of remained just within sight as Greg went to Rimi's rescue before taking on the young hot headed Klingon in a gagh eating challenge. But that hadn't stopped Jack from wanting to help should things escalate further. Luckily with the arrival of station security and a distraction in the form of Avi Moz. The Irish bartender was glad to see things calm down a little. Although once Lea and Riyo arrived and the majority of the Klingons left with Ryah and S'Riia. Jack wasn't about to relax, especially when the remaining Klingon accosted Avi. However he still had a job to do as Greg motioned to him regarding a drink and after hearing Tequila being mentioned. It was the least he could do for Greg's help with the situation and being impressed with how he had handled the younger Klingon. Not wasting any time, Jack went and poured a hefty measure of Tequila and added the glass to a small tray with salt and lime should Greg want it. Then he went over to the table as Anna arrived and spoke directly to Greg. " Here you go Greg, it's on me as a thank you for helping with our Klingon friends". Durwot growled back at the human as he continued to mock him, but obediently followed his Captain, however he was still angry that he was pulled away before he could settle his dispute honourable in a duel. Well, almost. They were down one Klingon, and S'Riia had given Jenkins the benefit of the doubt that he had remained to corral her up and escort her to the office. S'Riia could read the look in Ryah's eyes as she realized that they were a Klingon short. S'Riia listened to the exchange. The details were rather intriguing, including the supposition that these Klingons would engineer a jailbreak aboard the station. Talk about bold. Carefully, and subtly, S'Riia moved to meet Ryah to share what she knew. "One of them began to speak to Avi Moz on the way out," S'Riia said in a hushed voice. "I assumed Jenkins remained behind to see after her." In retrospect, it may not have been the best idea, but how much trouble could one Klingon be? Surely, Jenkins could handle her on his own. S'Riia's eyes shifted in the direction of the scowling Klingon. She was confident he wouldn't cause a scene here, but made the decision to monitor him subtly as the meeting proceeded.

[NPC - Rimi Mora - Blue Beta Bar, Front Ear Station ] When Greg agreed to the drink of Tequila, Rimi quickly recalled that she didn't exactly have the means to pay for that drink. Granted, it was the least she could do after what Greg had done for her. He'd probably saved her life. And apparently he wasn't done, as he asked if she were okay. With the two of them along, she couldn't help but feel quite self-conscious given his attention. Especially, after he managed to follow her gaze towards the table full of teens across the bar. "I'm okay, now," she said, hoping to dismiss any sort of acknowledgement of the other teens. "Thanks to you of course." A smile actually crept on to her face as he made light of the earlier ordeal that had left the young half-Trill in peril. "Not everyday, but luckily today... since you were here." The young girl's cheeks flushed with a bit of color as the words left her lips. It was then that she and Greg found themselves no longer alone. The first to insert themselves was a Starfleet officer. Rimi didn't know Roland, but he seemed a tad too stiff to be a security officer. Still, he had arrived with the others that had taken the Klingons out of here. "Um... hi, Starfleet-dude?" she said. She really couldn't decipher what his rank was, and he hadn't actually introduced himself, so she had no idea what his name was. Though, he had called her ma'am, so maybe she appeared more mature and sophisticated. Hopefully, her hero... Mr. Ellis, felt the same. At least there was a name now. And once again, even more people inserted themselves into their social bubble. The first was Jack, whom had brought one tequila over... just one! Luckily, it was on the house, but was she freaking invisible all of a sudden. She was just about to protest, when she realized that Anna had decided to actually walk over here to ask what she could do to help. Rimi rolled her eyes at the blond girl's question before actually answering. "Wow, you found a way to make my trauma all about you," Rimi responded. "You want to help? Maybe do what you've done so well in the past: stay away from me."The last person she wanted to deal with right now, was Anna. Just a few minutes ago, she was just as good as laughing it all up with her friends, and now she wanted to come over and play the hero? To show concern like some altruistic vedek? Rimi expected her to return to her table and have another gut-busting laugh with her friends after she shared something else she had discovered by coming over here. Out of the corner of her eye, Rimi noticed the slight shoving occurring between that surly Bolian and one of the Klingons that had remained behind. In fact, it was the very one that had spoken to Rimi first. Weren't they supposed to be gone? "Um... shouldn't you do something about that?" she directed the question at Jenkins. Wasn't he supposed to do what security did and... well, secure?

[Lt. Paawin Riyo - Front Ear - Blue Beta]Riyo wasn't reassured by the fact the rowdy bunch weren't the ones Lea had told him about. If Klingons didn't have respect for someone, it would be that much harder to keep them in line. Without a word he followed Lea to a table and sat down, still keeping his eyes on the group. From this new angle he recognized the human man as Greg Ellis, and judging by the slightly pale tone of his skin and the partially eaten bowl of gagh on the table, Riyo could guess what had just transpired. He didn't envy the man in the slightest. Security successfully got most of the Klingons to follow them out of the bar, but one remained behind when confronted by the Bolian. Greg and the Trill girl were momentarily forgotten when the shoving started. Without really thinking about what he was doing, Riyo leapt to his feet and approached them. "Hey! Take it outside!" He spoke loudly and sharply enough to hopefully catch their attention. There were still too many people around, not to mention the tables and chairs. It wouldn't take a weapon for someone to get seriously hurt.

[Blue Beta - Promenade] Just when she thought that the situation had calmed down, especially as the Klingons were escorted out by Security. It appeared as though one of them had decided to remain behind. One Klingon couldn't and surely wouldn't be too much of a problem and yet there was a part of Leanna, that wished that they had stayed at home. Okay it was only a miniscule and passing thought as Jack brought over a drink to Greg, who had stayed by Rimi's table and acknowledged what the server had done. Although as much as there seemed to be another kind of situation brewing with Anna. Lea put it down to their age and that this was more than the current situation as Avi and the Klingon started pushing one another. A brawl was the last thing that they needed as Riyo quickly got up from their table to try and break it up. So much for a quiet lunch, Lea thought to herself as she decided to help diffuse the situation or at the very least provide a distraction. Whistling loudly before speaking so everyone would hear. " For the next half an hour, all drinks are free".

Avi was built like a boxer, hands made strong from heavy work, and she'd earned herself several similar encounters in her life, but it had been a while since her last scrap and she usually had enough sense to avoid Klingons. Not today, however! She pushed herself back up, snagged the back of a tastefully designed chair and heaved it with full commitment at Jurgha's head. Then Avi turned to grab another one to do the same. It was that old Bolian saying - one gift makes friends, two gifts makes family. She was aware on some level that decorum had been requested, but was not interested. There were no chairs outside, and she'd had plenty to drink at breakfast. [NPC - Lt. j.g. Mabel Henriksen - Blue Beta Bar & Grill]On orders from her Captain, Mabel had rapidly made her way to the bar, stuffing her hasperat from Apazi's into her purse. Every single one of her muscles was sore, and she was spending the day eating tasty stuff, after surviving the fleet fitness eval yesterday. Next year, she'd work with Judy to get a waiver. Walking into the bar, trying hard not to think of her sore calves, she sighted Leanna, and walked up to the woman. "Hey, Lea, the... Judy... well, we, need your help. We need to use the bar, and one of your back rooms, for a quick operation," Mabel explained, stumbling over her words.
Tag Leanna Mazal [NPCs - PO2 Kevin McDonough & PO2 Alex Espada - Promenade]"Bro, I can smell the hasperat in your farts," Alex ribbed his longtime patrol partner. "Yes, there is."The duo had assumed that the situation at the Blue Beta was already resolved, but no... there was more noise, and flashes of blue. "Moz, again," Kevin pointed out. "How did S'Riia miss that?"It was considered a best practice to book Avi Moz whenever she ended up within eyesight of a situation of any kind. The two security officers ran into the bar, to finish the job. "Knock it off right now!" Alex barked at both the Klingon and Moz, though he held his phaser ready to enforce that. "Come on, Avi. You know where we're going, phaser nap or not," Kevin threatened.

[Gregory Ellis - Blue Beta]Greg's pleasant expression, a smile first, melted into something just a tad bewildered as Rimi thanked him in a rather awkward manner. He mistook her flushed cheeks for shock, and attributed everything to the physiological response to a stressful situation. "If I hadn't arrived someone here would definitely have stepped in to make sure you were okay," he assured her, his intent not to be humble, but to try and reassure her that this place was safe. He had no doubt that Jack or any number of the Beta staff wouldn't have let anything happen to the charming young artist. At Roland's approach, and Rimi's greeting, Greg found himself biting back an amused grin. "Mr. Jenkins," he returned, then turned gratefully to the drink Jack had arrived with. "Any time, mate," he said to the bartender with a nod, then reached out to grab the lime slice. He squeezed it into the tumbler, then took a sip, followed my a more generous mouthful. That's the stuff. He'd sip it then, slowly, needing to neutralise the gagh aftertaste but also needing to monitor his intake. It was only lunch time, after all. It seemed that their reprieve from the action would be short-lived, however, as close by one of the remaining Klingons was getting into it with a Bolian. At the same time, there were more fireworks at the table, this time in the form of Rimi vs Anna Eastman-Williams. Brown eyes widened in surprise over the rim of his Don Julio as the trill turned a previously unseen attitude toward the Captain's daughter. Greg's eyes flickered between the two, realising the issue between them was much deeper than popular table and outcast. Any of the interactions he'd had with Anna previously had been positive, and he'd thought her a credit to her parents. Greg wasn't an idiot though; he'd been a teenager once. He remembered how it worked. "Hi, Anna," he greeted her in a friendly manner. He'd been about to ask her to sit with Rimi in solidarity while he pulled Jenkins aside, who looked like he was about to burst for the need to tell him something, but something made him stop. "It's been a bit of a stressful afternoon, maybe we could -" He stopped talking when the chair crashed down on the Klingon. "Sit down, please," he asked, his tone changing as he moved to position himself between Anna, Rimi, and the unfolding "challenge". A couple of security personnel flooded into the lounge, but Greg wouldn't move until the fighting stopped.

[ Jurgha, daughter of Khar - Blue Beta] There was a satisfying crack as her fist connected with Avi’s face. In the distance, a woman’s voice shouted that drinks were free. Excellent. She would enjoy some more bloodwine after her victory. Jurgha moved to protect her head, and the chairs smashed into her side, one after the other, breaking on impact. She stumbled back, but the action only served to get her blood running. The Klingon snarled in equal parts anger and enthusiasm. Being a customs officer might not be the stuff of legend, and perhaps Jurgha enjoyed indulging in bloodwine and gagh a little too much for the good of her physique. Even so, she could certainly hold her own against one slimy Bolian. She wiped a trail of blood from the side of her face, then grabbed a sharp piece of the broken chair and lunged at Avi. Other voices joined in, trying to butt in and get them to stop, but Jurgha barely heard any of them. They were none of her concern. “This is between us!” she shouted at the security officers as she ducked away from them, then upended an entire table in Avi’s direction. {Quotes} [...] The two security officers ran into the bar, to finish the job. "Knock it off right now!" Alex barked at both the Klingon and Moz, though he held his phaser ready to enforce that. "Come on, Avi. You know where we're going, phaser nap or not," Kevin threatened. [ Jurgha, daughter of Khar - Blue Beta] There was a satisfying crack as her fist connected with Avi’s face. "Ah ha ha ah ah!" Station security's dimmest warp cells arrived on scene with the same lacking diplomatic savvy Avi had come to expect. Avi's already shallow interest in pleasing Starfleet had dematerialised entirely the moment Matthew Harmon had coerced her into going undercover in the Nyberrite Alliance. That and there was no way she was going to stand down in front of Jurgha daughter of Khar, not now anyway. Security brothers could wait their turn; they weren't actually going to phaser her over this. Then they could all go to the brig and Avi and Jurgha would finally have time to catch up. "Shove your phaser - !" Avi began to make verbal her defiance of McDonough and Espada's directions, but a flying table interrupted her. She scrambled out from under it in time to meet the advancing Jurgha with a tackling knee to the midsection, risking being sliced on Jurgha's makeshift stake. [NPC - PO1 S'Riia - CO's Office --> EnRoute to Promenade, Front Ear Station ] Luckily the trek to the Captain's office had been rather uneventful, and S'Riia and Ryah had managed to deliver the Klingons without incident.
Tag: Judith Eastman (& Klopar), Ozu Saya (Ryah), Matthew Harmon (Durwot) [Capt. Judith Eastman(-Williams) & Capt. Klopar, daughter of Krak - Commanding Officer's Office, Front Ear Station]The human Captain sighed. It was without a doubt inevitable, if highly unfortunate, that one of the Klingon warriors had wandered off. "No matter!" Klopar exclaimed, with a mouth full of pizza. "Jurgha has time. We must disguise you two as Klingons, and select a cover story!"With that, the Klingon woman turned to the dour Durwot. He was, after all, her trusty assistant. Judy could tell that they were stuck with this course of action. She was also a bit hurt, but also quite grateful, at her deliberate exclusion from the undercover op - she would've had to exclude herself anyway, what with her distinct voice and famous nose. "You two can replicate some... fake foreheads over here, and get some makeup, whatever other things, done. We don't have time for anything too sophisticated," she ordered her own subordinates, with a tone of regret. At least this time, she could defend them. "And I'll get a venue."She tapped her commbadge, pinned to her waistcoat. =A= "Eastman to Henriksen. Can you be a sweetheart and ask Lea if I can use her bar for a sting?" =A= =A= "Uhhh, yes, ma'am. Right away." =A= =A= "Thanks, dear. Eastman out." =A= She hated to roust Mabel so soon after the woman's traumatic fitness eval, but that was the choice she had.

Tag Isaiah Quinn , Charlie Fox , and Ozu Saya [ SCPO Melihn Ryah - CO's Office] Distracted first by S'Riia informing her that one of the Klingons had, indeed, stayed behind at the Blue Beta, then by confirmation from Jenkins that she hadn't just stayed but was in a fight, Ryah didn't really register what the two captains had said. :comm: ' Call security, if you haven't already, :comm: she said shortly to Jenkins before turning to the captain. ' I'm sorry, ma'am, there's a probl-' Then what Klopar and Judy had said finished processing. ' I'm sorry,' she said again. ' You want us to what?' Ryah glanced between herself and S'Riia, the two least likely candidates in security for pretending to be Klingons. She was way too short, and S'Riia, well, she had a tail. Not your typical Klingon physiology, either of them. Ryah was definitely off her game. She would ordinarily never have spoken to a superior officer in that tone. ---------- Tag Judith Eastman and Isaiah Quinn

Well, it sure seemed she wanted to keep fighting. "Up yours," Alex sneered, as he took his shot at Avi, and hit. Kevin believed Jurgha was probably innocent, and just acting on Klingon honor, but there was a certain risk of her becoming guilty if left to her own devices with the unconscious Avi. So, with a sigh, he pulled the trigger. = A = "McDonough to Ops. I'm tagging two people to beam to the Brig medical facility.
