Many of our characters will recall the recent trip we took inside the magical mystery spatial phenomenon that ended up being referred to as Arbrell's Ellipse. We even took back some stowaways once we escaped. The experience has likely weighed on many minds and hearts, and it goes without saying that HQ has been petitioned to allow an expedition to return to get those we've left behind. 

The requests were denied.

We open this arc on Front Ear station, during a memorial service for the Mac's lost crewmembers. Those who made it out will be present, along with family and loved ones of the fallen, an official or two, and Command, amongst others. It is after the service when our people come back together to commiserate, to complain and grumble, and to perhaps formulate a plan of their own; one that might not be strictly above board. 



The Plan:
This is really too good a storyline to leave behind. We can set this scene first as a really good way of gaging interest amongst players, and should we have enough involvement, we can then potentially craft a Frontier-official mission for the rescue attempt itself. The rescue will last no longer than 2-3 IC weeks, in order to ensure that our characters are relatively free and open to participate in other areas of play without too much interference or timey wimey headaches.

Ideally I would like this to be a completely collaborative effort, and because it's likely to be off the books, the lack of need for Command will lend itself well to everyone contributing to the narrative. Should it be required I'm happy to step in as GM, but I'd like this to work in the same way as the Caldonia 5 arc, with decisions being made as a team.
