[ PO2 Étienne Fournier (bio) | Shuttle Repair Bay 2 ]Étienne and Shavan were single-minded in their sensual efforts, neither doing much to coax the other out of the unnatural revelry. Stripped of his shirt and inhibitions, (and when his mouth was not otherwise occupied) Étienne was reciting lines of what he'd later claim was poetry but was actually stolen dialog from a holonovel about doomed lovers. "And stars are hungry for (mmm) sorrow (mmmm)," for example, between bites along the collarbone. There was also, "liquor and milk are beggar's treasures, (ungh) lick her and see how sweet." Étienne was aware on some level of the station being alive around them, alive with yellow alerts and announcements, but it wasn't until the commbadge muffled between them that Étienne clocked the content. It was the captain. "She calls you 'Shavan'," Étienne muttered, breezing past the point. "Should you get that?" Étienne took the initiative (again), and tapped Shavan's comm badge for him. =/\= "Aye aye, captain. Please hold." =/\= Shavan Th'zhaar, Felicity Ellis

[ Lt. JG Rin Zakir - Ops Centre, Front Ear Station] Zak felt a little sorry for Jenkins as he excused himself, although he had to admit, he didn't know the man had it in him! He had to agree that he needed to work out though! He personally considered himself to be bi, but neither Roland nor Sir Doug were really his type. With the bulletin sent out, those who hadn't heard him should be able to access it via com panels or just asking the computer to repeat. He imagined the majority had not though, from what Velal was saying about the situation in the Promenade. Whatever was going on, not only were the crew and civilians currently tearing each other apart, but everyone including the commander was just losing it. He himself uttered another prayer to the Prophets, just as Ellis announced that they were screwed. "We are? Great, want me to tell the rest of the crew? We're all going to the Celestial Temple, whoop whoop!", he asked somewhat sarcastically before remarking in what definitely was sarcasm. He wasn't sure if she had heard though, as she disappeared into her office, before reemerging with a bottle that he was sure didn't contain fruit juice. Maybe she was in a sharing mood? He didn't get to ask though, as it seemed that they may have their answer. If there really was some kind of cloaked object, then that could even explain the Orunmila's fate, but right now they had themselves to worry about. "I can confirm that there's definitely something off down there. Nice catch, old man!", he confirmed with his own scans before congratulating the man who had discovered it. Why hadn't he thought of doing that? "If you're sending him down there, I would recommend a security escort. Want me to go?", he asked in a far more casual manner than perhaps he should have, but his expression was serious, compared to his words. Felicity Ellis Judith Eastman (Sir Doug)

[Felicity Ellis - Ops Centre]"I did?" She responded to Zaman, brow furrowed. Felicity might have agreed with the recommendation of her peers, but she did not know some of the crew, as she'd only recently returned. Perhaps he was right, though. Perhaps she had done all of these strange things. But it wasn't her, it was someone controlling her. They'd drugged her and made her sign things... Wait, what? Even in her current, and quickly deteriorating state, she knew this was getting ridiculous. "No, no," she said to Rin when the things he was saying began to make sense again in her mind, "Not everyone. Or maybe everyone?"Had she said everyone? Perhaps that was the right play, though? Then Velal came through again and she stiffened automatically, waiting for the other woman to tell them all where to stick their job. Fortunately for them all, what she actually said returned things to some sort of semi-normalcy. =/\= "We are similarly effected up here. Increase as you see fit." If people were not responding to commands and were becoming violent enough to cause injury, then they really had little other choice. "We are erecting forcefields around the areas worst impacted, Promenade included. We are working with the assumption that this is some sort of outbreak. Right now Rin is sending out a High Threat Level Security Bulletin and I've locked us down. Medical are running tests, I will keep you updated as I can. We're screwed. Ellis out." =/\= She stood up and walked right off the Ops deck and into her office. When she emerged again she was holding a bottle of ancient and unopened whiskey in her hand. She was about to rip that seal when Sir Doug spoke. "I'd probably feel better about my hair," she answered him, but she was also processing his strange report. She tapped her badge. =/\= "Ellis to Lieutenant Shavan. There's something cloaked down there with you. Find it. Everything is super messed up right now and we need to find out why." =/\= A thought occurred to her: if they were this out of it in Ops, chances are the Shuttle Bay, the potential epicentre of this thing, was chaos. "Sir Doug, we may need you to venture down there and help." [ Lt. Since Felicity had brought up her hair again, he'd share more of his infinite wisdom. Then she gave him a quest. That was fitting. The offer of protection from the tactical boy was perhaps gallant, but unnecessary. "My boy, I've been taking on bad guys for so long, that your peoples didn't even know most of the vegetables on your planets when I started," he stated proudly. [ T’Laara - Promenade] The yellow alert took effect just as T’Laara followed Jem Sparkles out to the Promenade. Even with it, and the Security team’s efforts, the place was still in chaos. She took a deep breath, as even in her altered state she was beginning to see that it would be best to maintain some semblance of control. Everyone was giving in to primal instincts, taking the impulses dangerously far. It was, in many ways… “Fascinating.”
She did not appreciate being surrounded by the force field, but her intrigue at what was happening kept her moving forward. A combatant shoved her hard, and she reacted quickly. A well-placed pinch to the base of the neck, and he slumped to the ground, unconscious. It was satisfying to watch. Especially since she had had little opportunity to use the technique, outside of learning it in the interest of self-defense. Eventually T’Laara caught up with the drag queen at the nightclub’s doors, and turned back to the crowd she had just shoved through. “HEY, EVERYONE! PARTY AT DELIRIUM!” That would definitely get some attention. She smiled at the strangeness of her own words. tag Jem Sparkles , anyone on the Promenade

[ Shavan Th’zhaar - Shuttle Repair Bay 2] Shavan couldn’t get enough of Étienne, and returned every heated touch with desperate hunger. He tilted his head back, eyes half closed, and murmured appreciatively at the lips and teeth along his collarbone. Somewhere behind them, yellow lights flashed, and there were muffled shouts. He chose not to react. An Ensign may have been trying to start a fire, but that was unconcerning. It was probably for science. The faint voice came through the commbadge as his own mouth trailed down Étienne’s chest. He wanted to ignore it, but the engineer answered for him. Taking a breath, Shavan paused just long enough to register what had been said. As for whether he was actually on a first name basis with Commander Ellis, he did not care enough to question, but simply addressed her in the same way. Truthfully, she was someone else he would not say no to getting to know more intimately. =/\= “Acknowledged. I’ll get right on it, Commander Felicity.” =/\=Of course, she wouldn’t know exactly how long it would take to solve it. Keeping the task in the back of his mind, he remembered Étienne’s words too. No one had actually recited poetry to him before, except for a Klingon, ages ago. Shavan grinned, amused but still captivated. =/\= “That was beautiful. You’re beautiful.” =/\=He had also forgotten to close the channel to the Commander in Ops. Lips met again, and a moment later his uniform jacket and shirt, commbadge included, fell to the floor. Gripping Étienne’s hips, he pulled them back until he was leaning against the computer station. Kaya Som Felicity Ellis

[ Jack - Blue Beta, Promenade] The second that Jovireh looked at him, Jack felt a pleasant shudder run down his spine. Almost making the Irishman forget why he was here until she spoke to him and took the medkit. Feeling a little lost now that he had delivered what she wanted but did manage to find the ability to speak. " Anything .. for .. you" he said with a slight mumble. He continued to stand there for a few more minutes, before he realised that he had been out in public for more than was necessary. Then he turned and tried not to run back to his hiding spot. ********** [ Jem - Blue Beta, Promenade] Jem had no idea what L'Sho had said to her and T'Laara but the drag queen was happy to just have him acknowledge their departure. " You know where we'll be if you change your mind" she called back, satisfied that he might just do that. Of course she was delusional, however if her brain told her otherwise then who she too argue. Now she could focus on the small matter of getting into Delirium and having the most epic party ever. Assuming that T'Laara was still with her, Jem ploughed on with sheer determination. [Delirium] Adjusting her wig and cursing the brutish Trill for causing her to get physical, Jem could feel her mood darken. That was until she noticed the forcefields and commended those who had erected them. Clearly they had realised that someone of her stature and fame needed protecting. Turning as she heard T'Laara, Jem grinned in approval. " There you are my dear and yes it's time to party" she declared as she returned her attention to the door controls. " Now let's see if I can get us in".

[ Kova Sh'qaleq - Promenade, Front Ear Station ] The Andorian's annoyance with Jovireh with Velal began to wane. She shook her head slowly, genuinely curious where it had come from. She wouldn't say that she knew the current Security Chief well, but had found her to be far more palatable than some of her comrades. So, why had they nearly come to full blows so easily only moments ago. Something was wrong... that was obvious. The chaos around them had to be proof enough of that. And the vast majority of the people aboard this station were now at the mercy of Starfleet. A long sigh left Kova's lips, along with the some very soft-spoken words, "We're all going to die."She wasn't left to her own musings for very long as words were spoken, and it was only upon looking in the direction of the voice's origin that she realized the words had been directed towards her. "You... want me?" Kova asked. Her eyes moved over L'Sho, and she immediately found herself... distracted by his Talorian physique. Her legs took long, slow strides to close the distance between them. She eventually placed her palms flat on the bar top, and with a single leap, sat on the edge of the bar with her legs dangling in front of her as she looked over her shoulder at L'Sho. "All these pink skins you could have summoned, and you... want... me." The last word came out as a drawn out whisper as her legs spun to the other side of the bar.
Leaping down, now behind the bar, Kova took a single step, leaving very little space between herself and L'Sho. "If you're really interested... I could show you how to get inside... loosen those lips... tell you what... strokes... it really... responds to."

Well, she had called him Lieutenant Shavan. She decided she rather liked it; much more than Captain. But then Shavan did not sign off, and appeared to be telling her she was beautiful. But no, the hits would keep on coming, as the ignored commbadge revealed another romantic epic, with plenty of sound effects. "Ugh!" She manually terminated the transmission with a quick console command. "Looks like we need you now more than ever, Sir Doug," she declared dramatically before turning back toward the El-Aurian. "Rin will accompany you, it's too dangerous to go alone. Don't look a gifthorse in the mouth! As ancient as you are, you can still die." It was true. She grabbed her coffee cup and poured out the remaining contents onto the floor. Then she filled the cup with a healthy shot of her expensive, aged whiskey. "Take this too. And this." She began shoving things into his hands. The cup of whiskey, a phaser, her PADD. Then something else occurred to her. She turned a narrowed eye on both Sir Doug and Rin Zakir. "Whatever you two do, do not start making out."
"Godspeed."

[Ensign Nork - Public Replimat, Promenade]
Nork was King of the Replimat. It was his. He had fought and conquered all, and to the victor go the spoils.
"NORK! NORK! NORK!" The enlivened crowd chanted, looking upon their new king with reverence and awe. The Vulcan himself climbed a table and raised his arms. A hush fell over his army and everyone waited, the silence deafening and painful all at once.
Then he raised his fist into the air and a fevered cheer answered.
"We will not stop until the whole Station is ours!" He promised, his voice projecting beautifully with no assistance required. "Onward!"
King Nork lead the charge. For the first time in his life, something felt right.
[Lieutenant Dr. Kece Lunn - Primary Sickbay]
"What is it, Lieutenant Doctor?" Ramone asked, alarmed by Lunn's dramatic gasps and epithets.
"Chief, if you please," the rotund surgeon said to the medic, correcting his own order from earlier.
"But..."
"Silence, Marone! Goodness gracious, dear boy, can't you see this is serious!"
And serious it was. Lieutenant Dr. Chief Kece Lunn was studying the readings with some intensity. They were truly astonishing. "Marone, you must call everyone in. All available hands. At once! We have no time to lose, this thing is fast! Bring me our virology specialists. Our neurologists. Medical engineers, anyone!"
Ramone might have been bewildered by Kece Lunn's behaviour, but the idea that this was as serious as suggested was certainly enough to boot him into action. At the nearest console he sent out the All Hands to available medical staff. While the medic waited for a response from one of the Science teams, Lunn began to voice his findings.
"It is focusing on the prefrontal cortex, but here we also see almost no activity in the subthalamic and caudate nuclei. It's almost like it's shut them down. This, of course, negates the brain's ability to control the prepotent response."
He took a step back, and began walking slowly toward one of the centre consoles where Ramone stood, sending his messages. Lunn's gaze was downcast, but then he threw his dark eyes up toward the ceiling of Sickbay, and opened up his arms, palms upward, as though in entreaty.
"Sometimes I wonder, when it gets too quiet up there, if You are thinking, 'What kind of mischief can I play on My friend Kece?'"
He turned sharply then, pointing a finger at each of them. "I must inform the upper echelons of Command that we have..." He lowered his already deep, rich voice and continued, "A nanovirus."
He fell to his knees. "But how!? How has this beast overcome our defences? This will tear down our traditions and tear us apart." He raised his hands again, this time fists clenched at the futility of it all.
"Traditions, traditions. Without our traditions our lives would be as shaky as... as a fiddler on the roof!"

(Ensign Hathos - Primary Sickbay)
“I appreciate your compliment but believe me, this is more than we are acquainted for.” Hathos’s words were almost drowned out by the alert reaching him, an alert for all available medical staff to be on hand in the primary sickbay, an alert he intended to answer as soon as he could make it past his abnormally affectionate colleague. The human was one he knew the face of but couldn’t bring his name to his mind at the time, instead he was too busy darting left and right to evade the pounces of his lips. “I am sorry but i will do what i must.” He warned them as he planted his feet shoulder width apart, glancing over his shoulder to time for the arrival of a Vulcan crew member who was heading down the corridor from their rear. The man pounced once more, and Hathos sidestepped just in time to grasp his shoulders either side, steering him like a wheeled, unstable kart until they reached the Vulcan, letting go just in time for the two to begin their own intimate encounter.
A deep breath left his lips, hunching over slightly with awkward relief as he gathered himself, smiling for a moment before he looked down, and realised that he was still being summoned to the Sickbay. “Bloody hell” He managed to express with a struggled sigh, speeding his way down the corridor with determination and equal parts panic, fear and worry gripping his heart in a way that it usually never did in a crisis. His good was pumping faster, his ears muffling the sound of the station’s current anarchy as he was but a metre twenty or so metres from the medbay.
He heard it though, that most anxiety inducing and uncomfortable of phrases, something which usually never scared him until that day, “Hey you, why the rush?” their seductive question called out. Within an instant he leapt into self defence mode, his body not allowing another assault by romantically friendly colleagues regardless of what his usual nature may be. His elbow struck them with a forearm blow to the jaw, causing them to stumble back against the wall as Hathos’s eyes opened in further panic. “I am… so sorry,” He begun, confusion at why he would react with such aggression, before he pointed down the hallway. “That way, have fun, in hurry.” He blurted out, finally carrying on until he dived inside the entrance.
“Lieutenant Doctor…” Ensign Hathos called out upon his arrival, a shaky breath parting his lips as he straightened his uniform and approached the current medical staff already at work. Though off to his side the Chief was on their knees, arm stretched to the heavens as they professed their despair for a fiddler on the roof, The Romulan surgeon was suddenly enthralled by a different sight. That of a spork, hurried into a patients hand, something he knelt beside as he looked at with an unnatural fascination as if it were a spectacle of pure magic. There were many things he could have asked, or volunteered to help with, but something instead made him simply declare, with an awkward delivery, “Huh, someone’s been hungry”

[SCPO Jovireh Velal - Front Ear - Blue Beta]=A="Understood,"=A= she managed to reply to the Commander before the channel was closed. Well, at least it wasn't just the Promenade going crazy, and now that she had permission... Lifting the phaser in her hand, she swiftly adjusted the settings. Still the lowest stun, but now on a wide-beam dispersal, she took aim at the nearest brawl and fired. Several bodies dropped unceremoniously to the floor, and the security officers they had been tangled with gave her a nod of gratitude and took a moment to breathe before they pulled their own phasers. A few minutes later, Deck 8 had grown almost silent as the phaser fire and fights ceased as suddenly as they began. One deck down, two to go. She turned to look at the officers with her, and ordered them to split up and take the other floors. As she turned towards the turbolift, she stopped when she saw Lochi once more. Fvadt[fn]Romulan expletive[/fn] he was even sexier up close. A coy smile spread across her lips as she let her gaze trail over him before speaking. "Enjoying the show?"Raised voices from below tore her gaze away from him, and she looked over the rail of the mezzanine to see the mob pouring out of the replimat. Oh... That was not good...

It did seem a decent method to tell the humans and their adjacents from the more reasonable species of the Federation and their Beta Quadrant; he had met an Orion, a Bolian and now an Andorian that might be worth his time. Although this Andorian seemed a little... flighty. "You appear very surprised at my interest," he observed, his softly glowing eyes watching her long legs as she approached. "I do hope that's not a testament to your lack of skill."She leapt down from the bar and closed some distance between them. L'Sho responded by closing the rest, his bare arm touching hers. His brow arched as she spoke, so suggestively, almost transparent but with practiced innuendo. "'Inside' is the place I always prefer to be."He inhaled, filling his two sets of lungs with her scent. He held the breath, tasting it, wondering, and then with another rumbling chuff, considered what strokes she might respond to. "If you please," He asked then, gesturing toward the console, but inwardly he was preparing himself to use whatever force necessary to secure her assistance. There appeared to be far too many distractions, and until he was sure this madness on the Station wasn't the greatest assassination attempt of all time, he would have to keep his infamous cool.

[Ensign Lochi Areinnye - Front Ear - Promenade]Taking a long drag off of his cigarette, grey eyes watched the chaos erupt around him. Smoke rolled out of his nostrils as a civilian approached him, brandishing some sort of foreign object. No time to deduce proper threat assessment. A free hand connected with the assailant's nose, the heel of his shoe connecting with the jaw. In two quick strikes, the assailant was dropped. Cracking his neck, Lochi smirked. He was enjoying himself.
Stepping forward, two more civilians came at him. He dodged their attacks whilst taking the final drag off of the cigarette. Kicking one of the combatants in the chest, he flicked the cigarette into the face of the other. A temporary distraction before a roundhouse kick took the second assailant off of his feet. Exhaling the smoke from his lips, he noticed a security officer being overwhelmed. Taking a running leap, he flung himself into the fight.
Elbows, punches, and kicks were thrown. Bodies were tossed aside. Many of the assailants turned their attention to him, a few punches and kicks connecting to his frame. It only made his own hits that more ferocious. But, before things truly got out of hand, a hail of phaser fire came screaming around him, incapacitating the remaining civilians. The security officer and Lochi looked to one another and nodded, the Intelligence officer chuckling to himself as he popped another cigarette into his mouth, wiping the small bit of green blood that spilled from parted lips.
The Security Chief approached him, phaser in hand. No doubt it was her and her security detail that showered the combatants in phaser fire. "Mein engel, you are zhe fury and beauty of zhe Heavens wrapped in mortal coil. Vundebar. Simply vundebar. Now zhe question arises as to vhat happens in zhe second act. Do ve take care of zhe ruffians? Or perhaps ve leave zhat task to your capable underlings und find a comfortable place for me to peel zhat uniform off your body and zrow ourselves into pure animal instincts..."
Her coy smile was met with his own devilish grin as he began closing what space there was left between them. "Zhe Promenade is on lockdown, and you are zhe one calling the shots. Jovireh... A name zhat demands zhe attention of heaven and hell. I am your weapon, sharp and eager..." His lips almost graced her ear.
"Now tell me vhat to penetrate..." he growled.

[ T’Laara - Promenade, Deck 9] “If you can open it?” T’Laara raised an eyebrow, suddenly impatient and unimpressed as the Drag Queen stopped at the nightclub’s doors. She had trusted Jem’s confidence that this would not be an obstacle, and had already shouted for anyone within earshot to join them. “It would be best to do it quickly.” She looked away, in search of anything that might assist… and that was when she saw him across the Promenade. Nork. Another Vulcan who was not afraid of his true self. He was everything she had been wanting. And, surrounded by followers, he cut a magnificent figure. T’Laara stepped forward, watching their approach as primal desire burned to life within her. The only thing he was missing was a queen. tag Jem Sparkles , soft tag Felicity Ellis

{Spoiler} [ Shavan Th’zhaar - Shuttle Repair Bay 2] Shavan couldn’t get enough of Étienne, and returned every heated touch with desperate hunger. [ content note: steamy but safe for work ][ PO2 Étienne Fournier (bio) | Shuttle Repair Bay 2 ]The surprise and confusion was fading away and now Étienne showed no hesitation with Shavan, the pair of them trading touch, finding every inch of closeness possible. Clothes were coming off, the cold air of the shuttle repair bay chilling the back of Étienne's sweaty neck. Underneath it all, though, was still something strange. Inside was another lucid part of Étienne that was watching it happen, who was aware that this arousal was being influenced by something. "Cloaking technology," Étienne murmured as he and Shavan pressed against each other, "emits," he breathed, "phased tachyons." His hands moved purposefully. "They degrade but," he smiled, "are detectable in close proximity..." "(That's good.) ...w ith a science tricorder. We'd have to," he licked his lips, "lower the force field." Shavan Th'zhaar
