The news that neural monitors had already been affixed to their Patient Zero (maybe?) guests and would transmit to the Med-Lab was a welcomed one, and one less thing Felicity would have to worry about. Right now the virus seemed to be impacting on those three areas of the brain, but had not yet made any changes on any deep, permanent level. She thought that perhaps it might just be a matter of time, but at least they'd know immediately via the monitors if things began to change. "Most likely," she agreed fairly readily to the Ensign's assertion that they were probably just going to keep apologising. "It's better than trying to kill each other, I suppose. Or screwing." She paused what she was doing, sample still in hand as she looked up and stared at the wall with a thoughtful expression on her face. "Or maybe not."Then she shrugged and began to make her way down the passageway that lead past the Sickbay suites and toward the secure laboratories. They would have to keep on their toes to avoid some of the more active patients. Ramone appeared to be working away, though tears were now running down his cheeks. The sight was kind of heart-breaking, but Felicity knew she didn't have time to stop and comfort him. She thought that perhaps there'd be plenty more tears to come. That was, of course, provided they managed to end this fiasco. She was gratified to note that a number of techs were already hard at work when she entered Med-Lab 1. Looking behind her to make sure Hathos was following, she then gestured to get everyone's attention and gathered everyone for a quick briefing. A pair of technicians were holding hands and smiling blissfully at each other as they walked closer. "Ugh. I hate PDA," she said conversationally to everybody. "Considering our situation though, prudent course of action is to ignore it. But - bleurgh, you two." She made a retching sound at them. As though there was nothing at all strange about that, she ploughed on with the official stuff. "We need time to study this and to formulate a cure, if we can. I need the readings taken checked against the database, twice, and I want someone to confirm our findings with Starfleet Medical. Lunn can do that - where is he? Is he hiding!? Never mind." She waved her hand and moved on to the next order of business. She'd deal with Kece Lunn herself once there was time. "Is there anything we can do to slow this down? Large public areas of the station are under forcefield, can we consider some sort of sedation?"It would involve getting to Environmental Control, no doubt, but they'd do what they had to, whether the mob saw it coming or not. [Ensign Hathos - Sickbay -> Med-lab 1]The medical officer was on his way down the corridor shortly after the commander’s own exit and was surprised to find less anarchy than expected. Most seemed further down or back up the corridor, leaving him an almost clear run except for one other. PADD in hand they seemed deep in reading of something, but when they were only a few metres away from crossing paths Hathos was stirred into leaping backwards out of shock. A blood curdling scream left the other crewman’s lips seconds before slamming the PADD across to the wall nearest Hathos with all their might. A moment of silent confusion washed over them both before the other man simply stared at their hands in distress and yelled “Why did i do that?” into his palms searching for any kind of response. The ensign shrugged, still letting his heart rate settle from the jump when a security officer appeared out of nowhere, brutally tackling the man to the ground as if it were the most personal game of rugby in history. Eyes wide open he looked in both directions, before Hathos quickly sped up his walk towards the med-lab muttering to himself “Nope, nope, not having that, no thank you, fuck that.”He made it into the laboratory before long and could see the commander was already har at work trying to brief the assembled techs despite the infection coursing through each of them. He arrived just in time for the retching and he saw quickly the reason why, two technicians gazing into each other’s souls in love as they held hands. “Wait Sebastian, aren’t you dating Mariana over in coms? Oh wait, my bad, infection, carry on…wait no don’t carry on, please stop it’s distracting.” Almost completely unaware of the interruption he was making Hathos lowered the collection of blood samples onto a nearby counter before turning to face Felicity and once more playing with the curls of hair on the top of his head as if the feeling of his fingers through them was how he was able to fight off the worst of the side effects. “Doctor Lunn said they were heading towards the Chief’s office so that they could cure it all single handedly while also screaming theatrical monologues into the sky…” However the next part of her orders did give him inspiration of thought. Not so much understanding, he was still vastly unfamiliar with the technical specifications of the station compared to her, but he would speak his mind as he had no other choice. “Assuming communications around the station are not about to be take offline by some improvised fighting ring, we should be able to get in contact with whatever engineering officers are still of sound mind and coordinate the best way to administer a cure. As for the shielded off areas or those experiencing the most violence we could… “ He looked off to the corner, spotting a pen which made him wonder if he would be kicked out of starlet for fiddling with that for the next hour instead. His eyes flickered back, eyeing up the commander for a second while he remembered what he was thinking. “Seventy parts per million of Anesthizine can be administered through the environmental systems as a gas. Also if it’s not done already probably get the transporter rooms locked down so that it doesn’t get off the stations.”The next mess of sound that came from his lips were mostly incoherent, a consequence of his lips moving faster and reacting to the symptoms before his brain could catch up. But he did react before pointing over to the nearest console. “I can get analysing the initial neuro scans and comparing between patients while these peoples, Crew, them, start analysing the blood samples taken and stop eye humping each other.”

[ Shavan Th’zhaar - Shuttle Repair Bay 2] Still reaching for Étienne as he stepped away, Shavan turned to the new arrivals, disappointed by the loss of contact. Sir Doug’s choice of words did not help. A chaperone? If that was all, they should go away. He rolled his eyes, but added to Étienne’s answer when the conversation topic remained on the cloak object. “Yeah, everything’s fine, definitely working on that.” He narrowed his eyes at the results of the tricorder scan again before sliding down off the computer console. Entirely unbothered by the chill or at being seen half-naked, he unhurriedly moved to pick up his jacket (or maybe it was Étienne’s). Rather than put anything back on, he detached the commbadge and threw it into the space where the Orunmila debris was laid out. There was a metallic clang as it seemingly bounced off empty air. “Aha. See? It’s there.” Of course, they should probably decloak it before touching it. He stepped back up to the computer. “Initiating tachyon sweep now.”A shimmer in the air, and the cloak dropped. Now visible was… another jagged chunk of metal, just like the rest of the debris. “Huh. That’s weird.”Rin Zakir Kaya Som Judith Eastman

[ T’Laara - Promenade] Nork’s remaining followers were drawn to the dance floor, as T’Laara was. However, the sound of phasers and more people approaching grew louder. Surely it was over. Who, indeed, would challenge Nork? He stepped in front of her, but she kept a hand on his upper arm, looking without letting go. “He’s mine,” she proclaimed loudly, as if that would settle it. They would not have him now. And so T’Laara stood firm, waiting to see how they would respond, and for Nork to defeat those that would dare interrupt them. This would not be how it ended. Though after looking at this L’Vysh’ta of Talor, part of her mind began to consider a logical retreat. Felicity Ellis Kova Sh'qaleq

But he did react before pointing over to the nearest console. “I can get analysing the initial neuro scans and comparing between patients while these peoples, Crew, them, start analysing the blood samples taken and stop eye humping each other.” [Felicity Ellis - Med-Lab 1]"Ooh. ¡Escándalo!" Felicity gasped, suddenly enrapt in the holonovel drama unfolding before her. She was pretty certain she'd seen Mariana getting freaky with Gora from Beta Shift... "This is going to be such a mess," she muttered in a realisation of another kind. Perhaps they'd get lucky and temporary, selective amnesia would be a lingering side effect. When she realised Hathos was talking, she pulled her attention away from the gross PDA love-birds. "The Station has been on total lockdown for quite some time. No escaped eye-humping." He was right about that. And Kece Lunn. She eyed him suspiciously then. "You know a lot for someone who has just arrived. Allegedly."Responding to Hathos' suggestions, a few technicians began moving straight away, but others obviously felt an urgency of a different kind. Felicity's urgency was thankfully still all wrapped up with a sense of duty. And drama. =/\= "Attention all Engineering folks. This is Commander Felicity.[fn]As dubbed by Lieutenant Shavan[/fn] Anyone not too angry or randy to work please respond." =/\= Silence reined. She sighed. =/\= "Sir Doug? Are you there? Come in." =/\= To the Ensign, she explained, "Sir Doug is an El-Aurian. He's a bit nosy but he's old and he knows a lot. He's the one that found traces of something cloaked in the repurposed Shuttle Bay - y'know, where they're studying the Orunmila wreckage? Anyway, I sent him down to take check it out because the Science team assigned to it were having an orgy and I thought it was worth checking out."She was rambling. Realising what she'd said, she quickly amended, "Worth checking out the cloaked object, I mean. Not the Science orgy." Then, once again she considered that, raised her brows and shrugged. Maybe that would be worth checking out, too. "Anyway, if it comes to it I might have to go to Environmental Control myself. Or send Kece."And with that, the man himself reappeared.

[Ensign Hathos - Med-lab 1]
Lockdown made entire sense, and Hathos tried to remember back as to how he had not taken notice of such matters. Then it hit him, the realisation, but also the memory of the replicated food fight which was filled with so many space shanties being sung at the top of peoples lungs he could not hear the alerts properly. “Good, the eye humping is just here then.”
When Felicity began to eye him up with interest he was unsure at first, was she making a joke about the fact they had just discussed eye humping? However her true intention behind the stare was exciting of a different nature. Her suspicion, her concerns, oh no, she didn’t think… did she? Not again he hoped, not more of this shit. At first he was silent, waiting for er to speak through her comms as his fists clenched with rage and unease. She spoke of matters important to their current issues but he was busy pushing out his chest for a moment in keeping himself planted before he did something stupid, something beyond his regular control.
Taking a step towards her, her physical posture not making any changes to be intimidating, but his features were stern and he eyed her like daggers. “I will have you know i arrived on the station several weeks ago after having been in training with Starfleet academy for several years. Before that i was on Earth almost my entire life! I know a lot because i feel awkward asking questions given i am older than some of my senior officers and thus try to learn everything i can in advance as to not bother anyone. Study my movements and words if you will but do not suspect me of being anything more than a Doctor.”
It was then he opened his mouth and froze in a realisation of what he had just said, who he had just said it too and very quickly begin to scratch his beard slightly as he clenched his jaw in uncomfortable regret. “Hmmmmmm… forget i said that, i should go check out the environment, i mean you, i mean you check out the environment while i analyse this orgy, i mean brain activity… Let me know if you need anything commander.” His removal from the situation was swift as he jogged to the console, backhanding a randy engineer as he went and began cross analysing the activity of each patient being currently scanned along with the early scans of the blood samples he studied.
As he watched, waiting, he was able to separate the virus signs from the regular brain activity by noticing the shared irregularity between various species afflicted. However as it spread, taking over more and more of the brain activity he was able to witness early signs of something fascinating with both good and bad connotations for their crew. “Felicity! The virus is replicating itself to a finite end, likely programmed to only survive in a host till a projected expiry. If true this will mean the virus will not be a permanent remnant in our systems… But…” He looked up solemn, almost as if the idea alone was breaking his heart which so soon beforehand was filled with aggression. “By the time it is fully burned from the system they projected it would leave us all either dead or incapable of functioning through our actions against each other.”

[NPC - Sir Dugris "Doug" Zaman MBE, FRS, PhD, JD, MBA, PE, RA, CPA - Shuttlebay]Suddenly, Sir Doug lost it all. The sheer wrongness of the situation overwhelmed him, all at once. He'd felt this feeling before, with temporal and spatial anomalies, but it usually set upon you in stages. Not so this time. This was all sudden. The ancient El-Aurian lost his consciousness and fell to the floor.

[NPC - L’Vysh’ta - Promenade, Front Ear Station ] The Talorian vacated the Blue Beta Bar in search of this station's champion. All she needed to do was follow the chaos. It seemed that Starfleet Security was attempting to reach Nork before she could. That would deny her the opportunity to add her own distinction to L'Sho's familial line. In fact, it could likely lead to here forfeiting her own life. While she had no fear of dying, she dreaded the prospect of doing so unclaimed. The crowd quickly began to thin at the sound of phaser fire, thinning out Nork's would-be army. It was nothing but a collection of weaklings. They were drunken hedonists... very few of them actually warriors. She could hear the Vulcan call out his inquiry, asking who seeks to challenge him. A slight smirk passed along her lips. He would have the honor of knowing by name the person that would best him. The Talorian carved her way through the wall of flesh to make her way to Nork. Her hand rested on the shoulder as she spun one human on their heels and drove her fist directly into the middle of his face and breaking his nose. He dropped to the floor in agony barely conscious. The attack dissuaded some, but angered one of the followers that swung wildly at L'Vysh'ta. She only lowered herself, continued to charge forward and tossing him over her shoulder as she continued forward. A sharp back fist... a kick direcly to another's chest. They toppled so easily as she continued to drive herself foward. "I challenge you!" L'Vysh'ta called. She didn't hold the same restraints for safety as the security officers did, and they were of no concern to her in this moment. "Say your goodbyes to your chosen now, for she will only have your remains to hold once L'Vysh'ta of Talor has smothered your life's flame."[ T’Laara - Promenade] Nork’s remaining followers were drawn to the dance floor, as T’Laara was. [Ensign Nork - Promenade]The streak of blue was ploughing through his army like... a blue plough. "Who is L'Vysh'ta of Talor?" Nork asked, glancing around for a second challenger. "I will accept your challenge, but the other one will have to wait!" He clenched his fists, rage sparking in his eyes. Clearly, third person rhetoric was lost on the Vulcan. He reached up to cover T'Laara's hand with his own. "I will vanquish them all. Then none will be left to stand in our way, and we will finish what we have started." Nork looked deep into her gaze, trying to hold it for a moment that would stretch. Then he raised her hand to his lips, and placed a kiss on the inside of her wrist. Just for interrupting them, he would kill the blue challenger. He moved away from his future queen and toward the others. "No weapons!" He shouted at her, ready to feel her life drain away with his bare hands. There would be no mistaking his superiority then.

[ Kova Sh’qaleq - Blue Beta, Promenade, Front Ear Station ] L'Sho seemed as dismissive of the Talorian woman's antics as she had been. Somehow, the show of power by him was... stimulating. The temptation to strike him right along that rigid jaw of his... to feel the warm sensation of Talorian blood smeared across her knuckles... and what could follow. She dismissed the notion as there were more important things to contend with. Somehow, knowing that there was some sort of virus that was potentially responsible for these actions made her more aware. Though, it also made the very thoughts that assaulted her more enticing. She was thankful for his question about where to find the drugs she had eluded to. The most obvious answer was Sickbay, but it was likely they would encounter some resistance. As annoying as the pinkskins could be, it would be wise to limit interaction with them until they had some means of inoculation on hand. "We can find what we're looking for in Sickbay, however, medical supplies are also held in Storage Bay 2. It is more likely that we would encounter minimal resistance there." [Ambassador L'Sho, former Primary of Talor, former Supreme Commander of the Talorian Armada - Blue Beta]"Then I shall journey to Storage Bay 2." It seemed to make the most sense to L'Sho. With a quick, light leap, he vaulted from a standing position and over the bar counter again, taut muscles beneath blue skin of his chest flexing with the movement. He wasted no time in looting some of the bodies. The Security officers who had been beamed out left a couple of useful items behind. The Talorian was equally as lethal without a weapon, but he would consider it stupid not to use one if available. When he looked up at the shouting outside, his eyes were drawn toward his ha'la and this Nork King, but then the glimmer above the crowd caught his attention. "There are forcefields," he pointed out, looking up. He followed a natural curve of the dome-like shape, his sharp eyesight helping him differentiate between its peak and edge. "If this area here can be weakened," he pointed toward a spot near the entrance, where the shimmer was less obvious, "Then I could travel to that Storage Bay 2 of yours using the innards of this ugly, metal beast."

He heard his comm badge go off, a message from the Commander from Ops, but it was wrapped up in clothing and Étienne couldn't quite understand the message (something for Engineering though, and he knew he caught a 'please respond'). While Shavan made clever, sexy work of discovering the cloaked debris, Étienne made a cursory effort to recover his comm badge and right his uniform. "What's that?" Étienne made to approach the formerly-cloaked object, but he stopped and turned around at a tumbling thunk. The El-Aurian had collapsed! "Oh, shit!" Étienne went over to him, pausing for a moment to touch the man's lovely white hair. He looked so peaceful, except perhaps for his ill complexion and awkward elbows akimbo, eyes rolled back. Felicity would also remember whatever she wanted; whether the crew's actions were a result of the influence of this virus or not. "I'd recommend you stop trying to tell me what to do."She was thoroughly done with this day. And when Kece reappeared, that was just the cherry on top of it. The Betazoid sidled up to her. "Commander! I have some theories about this nanovirus. If you would care to hear them, I have set up one of the conference rooms for our private use. It is a sensitive affair, I fear, and these things are always better discussed over lunch, don't you agree? Of course you agree, you're of good stock. I've laid out some -""Oh, do shut up, Kece."The doctor's face dropped, his mouth rounding out in an almost perfect 'o' of surprise. When she heard her name, her first name, she turned back to Hathos. The solemnity in his voice drew her closer, and she approached in order to get a better look at his readings as he spoke. "That was exactly my theory!" Kece Lunn exclaimed, and then he turned on Hathos. "That is twice you have stolen my thunder, Mr. Hathor! It will not happen thrice!"Felicity held out her hand, palm outward in a STOP motion toward Lunn. There was no time. "So, you're saying that this is a short-lived infection, but not indiscriminate. Are you saying that even those of us with seemingly mild symptoms will worsen?"She'd been tentatively working off the theory that at least some of them could still work. Yet more hopes dashed in such a short period of time. Her commbadge was suddenly alive with voices from all over the Station, including Ops, but she wasn't listening.

[Ensign Hathos - Med-lab 1]
“Oh bloody hell” Hathos exclaimed with a roll of his eyes as his head leaned back, somehow fed up of the lieutenant already despite their only being back in the room for a short amount of time. The commander motioned for him to stop but the Ensign bit the bait and responded anyway. Staring half arsed daggers into their eyes. “With all due respect Doctor, i may have stolen your thunder but the theory was my own at least. Be helpful and say something productive or on the count of thrice you can kiss my Romulan arse.”
Not waiting a moment longer for them to reply he turned disattention to Felicity, turning the monitor so that the readings were clear for them both to view, his eyes on her while his hands gesturing wildly around his core as if he was building an invisible structure which might fix their current predicament. “Yes commander, while the mutation rate will differ from person to person and species to species, the longevity of the virus’s survival in our systems has been engineered too perfectly for an accident. It is likely they intended for it to last long enough that the majority of us kill or fuck the others into being no better than wild primates and even those who are still alive and functioning by the end will be too few. Also given it’s finite lifespan it would mean anyone who reaches the infection zone after a certain amount of time all be safe from further infection assuming all hosts have burned through the course of the infection.”
The ensign had heard his comm badge speaking as he relayed his thoughts but he was trying his best to ignore it, the chatter being a pest despite the important nature of the message, and it being his job. Within moments of being done speaking to the commander he let out a sigh, stood up straighter for a deep breath then raised his arm and brought it up in an aggressive swipe at his combadge to answer it with frustration. As he did he heard the loud slap of his palm against his breast, a forceful blow that almost knocked the wind out of his lungs for a moment and made his eyes near pop in surprised pain. “Bugger, wrong breast.” He muttered in realisation, though he soon paused for a moment as if in complete loss of what it was he had been about to do.
“Commander” He managed to let out in a voice that was clearly starting to be rather tired of speaking this much and was getting deeper with a slight roughness in his voice from lack of hydration. “I’m just a doctor but i know our people are better sleeping then battering each other senseless. If i can help in anyway with sedating the more violent sections of the station then i would bloody love to but if not…” He trailed off again, turning to the monitor and rubbing his hands together in anticipation. “… Then i can begin deducting the methods of transmission, the factors which slow it’s progression and… with… the Doctor’s help, potentially reverse engineer a way to stop us all pouncing on each other for one reason or another.” That was when a final thought hit him, a question of how it got there in the first place. “Wait… Felicity i know we said not to keep saying sorry but i am going to preemptively apologise. The team looking through the wreckage in the shuttle bays, have they performed a metaphysic sweep? It is possible…”
“Ooooooh fuck” He muttered under his breath in a dawning dread, remembering what he had forgotten to do just moments prior. =/\= This is med lab, Did i hear something about an emergency in the shuttle bays or am i losing it? =/\=

[ Kova Sh’qaleq - Blue Beta, Promenade, Front Ear Station ] To see him effortlessly leap up and over the bar was just short of being a work of art. Kova could have watch L'Sho simply move about for hours on end. Her head even tilted to the side to further appraise his toned, blue flesh as he wisely retrieved fallen trinkets from those security officers. Yet, it wasn't until he addressed her directly that she actually focused on his words to derive meaning from them. Forcefields... someone was actually trying to control the situation, albeit poorly given that it was interfering with the plan of action taht she and L'Sho had agreed upon. Even his speech was poetic. Normally, it may have been swoon worthy if she didn't need to decipher all of the meaning so quickly. "The Jefferies tubes," Kova repeated with a nod. "You're right, we could get to the Storage Bay that way. I may be able to cycle some of those forcefields so that we can get through without raising suspicion."She had somehow drafted herself to accompany L'Sho. Of course, that actually made sense, because she didn't have a way to communicate with him once he was out of sight. She pressed a few buttons to remove their first obstacle. She then made certain that Chel-E was active. "Go, it will reset in ten seconds," she urged L'Sho.
[NPC - L’Vysh’ta - Promenade, Front Ear Station ] L'Vysh'ta began to wonder if Nork was simple, or if he was actually attempting to mock her. He may not know who L'Vysh'ta of Talor was, but he would certainly learn. He limited the contest to be one without weapons. That made little difference to her. The Vulcan would be broken regardless. Even his chosen's feeble attempts to protect him would not work. "No weapons," she said agreeing with Nork. "The outcome will remain the same. And your chosen will be able to mount your remains upon her mantle."The Talorian warrior moved closer and beckoned the Vulcan to do the same. "Come... you've already forefeited your life. Do not prolong the inevitable."

[Delirium - Promenade] Jem couldn't remember ever having this much fun or this much booze at least in recent memory. Then again those kind of details were kind of fuzzy at the moment and her ability to recall anything was likely down to the amount of alcohol that was now coursing through her veins. So why should she care?, especially when there wasn't a shortage of alcohol or music and an audience in which to share it with. The adoration, the beat and being so close to so many likeminded people was enough of an intoxicant to keep her going for hours. A touch here, a caress there and the only thing missing was well nothing. She was so wrapped up in what was going on that Jem didn't realise what she was missing outside. That's until the crowd around began to thin out including one rather handsome Trill that she had been getting to know. " Hey where are you going?" she demanded, not wanting to lose out on a potential hook up. Normally she wasn't one to pursue someone in such a way, as if they were truly interested they wouldn't just walk out on her. So mildly miffed Jem half jogged half stumbled to the entrance. Practically falling over as she took in the scene before her and decided that this was much better than hooking up with Mr Spots as she righted herself. " Ooh there's going to be a fight ... everyone come watch Nork against what's her name from Talor".

[ Lt.JG Rin Zakir - Shuttle Repair Bay 2, Front Ear] Clearly not fussed about being only half dressed, the pair suddenly began to look like they really had been working. Checking the devris huh? Not the debris of the Orunmila, he suspected, but again that was a thought better left unthought. Instead, he listened to their claims that they were checking for phased tachyons, going with the something cloaked thing. The petty officer then insisted that they were all fine, noting that he and Doug also seemed fine. "Yeah, great, apart from the whole station's gagging for it, and I still can't get any!", he remarked with a shrug, just as Shavan seemed to isolate their mark...which just looked like any other jagged piece of debris. Weird was right. "Good work, any chance we could erect a level 10 containment field around that thing and see if it helps?", he asked, ready to tap his commbadge when the call from the commander came though for the old man...who promptly fainted. "Oh good grief", he grumbled as his palm met his forehead. =/\=Ops, this is Rin, Sir Doug is currently unavailable due to being a crumpled heap on the floor. May I take a message?"=/\=, he answered in his stead. That should hopefully confirm his name to the petty officer, who had been the fastest among them to call sickbay. "We've identified the cloaked debris in question, I think we're going to try and isolate it. As for our el-aurian friend...breathing, pulse?", he continued, before asking the man tending to him how his vitals were looking from a first aid perspective. By now, he too had dropped to the man's side, but hopefully the emergency transport would soon kick in and get him to sickbay.

[ T’Laara - Promenade] Time seemed to slow as she met Nork’s piercing gaze and listened to his confident words. Even when she inevitably stepped back out of their way, T’Laara could almost still feel his lips on her skin and every point they had touched. Heart racing, she watched the Talorian but made no move to intervene. The challenge had been made to Nork alone, and he was sure to win. Though clearly L’Vysh’ta had a different idea, as she made a second remark about delivering his remains to T’Laara. “That is not part of our funeral practices,” she commented idly from the sidelines, not caring whether L'Vysh'ta was actually listening. “However, if that is the Talorian way, I will see what I can do for you.”She was not alone in watching the confrontation. The crowd had not dissipated completely, and Jem Sparkles had reemerged from Delirium. T’Laara clenched her fists at her sides as she stood near the Betazoid again. “Yes, get everyone to come and watch.” Maybe then the mob would regain its strength, and anyone else thinking of a similar challenge would think twice.
