[ PO2 Étienne Fournier (bio) | Shuttle Repair Bay 2 ]=/\= "Sickbay. This is Fournier. Medical emergency in shuttle repair bay two. Civilian down. Just dropped. What's his name? Hey, what's his name?" =/\= [ Lt.JG Rin Zakir - Shuttle Repair Bay 2, Front Ear] =/\=Ops, this is Rin, Sir Doug is currently unavailable due to being a crumpled heap on the floor. May I take a message?"=/\=[Ensign Hathos - Med-lab 1]
“Oh bloody hell” Hathos exclaimed with a roll of his eyes as his head leaned back, somehow fed up of the lieutenant already despite their only being back in the room for a short amount of time. The commander motioned for him to stop but the Ensign bit the bait and responded anyway. Staring half arsed daggers into their eyes. “With all due respect Doctor, i may have stolen your thunder but the theory was my own at least. Be helpful and say something productive or on the count of thrice you can kiss my Romulan arse.”Not waiting a moment longer for them to reply he turned disattention to Felicity, turning the monitor so that the readings were clear for them both to view, his eyes on her while his hands gesturing wildly around his core as if he was building an invisible structure which might fix their current predicament. “Yes commander, while the mutation rate will differ from person to person and species to species, the longevity of the virus’s survival in our systems has been engineered too perfectly for an accident. It is likely they intended for it to last long enough that the majority of us kill or fuck the others into being no better than wild primates and even those who are still alive and functioning by the end will be too few. Also given it’s finite lifespan it would mean anyone who reaches the infection zone after a certain amount of time all be safe from further infection assuming all hosts have burned through the course of the infection.”The ensign had heard his comm badge speaking as he relayed his thoughts but he was trying his best to ignore it, the chatter being a pest despite the important nature of the message, and it being his job. Within moments of being done speaking to the commander he let out a sigh, stood up straighter for a deep breath then raised his arm and brought it up in an aggressive swipe at his combadge to answer it with frustration. As he did he heard the loud slap of his palm against his breast, a forceful blow that almost knocked the wind out of his lungs for a moment and made his eyes near pop in surprised pain. “Bugger, wrong breast.” He muttered in realisation, though he soon paused for a moment as if in complete loss of what it was he had been about to do. “Commander” He managed to let out in a voice that was clearly starting to be rather tired of speaking this much and was getting deeper with a slight roughness in his voice from lack of hydration. “I’m just a doctor but i know our people are better sleeping then battering each other senseless. If i can help in anyway with sedating the more violent sections of the station then i would bloody love to but if not…” He trailed off again, turning to the monitor and rubbing his hands together in anticipation. “… Then i can begin deducting the methods of transmission, the factors which slow it’s progression and… with… the Doctor’s help, potentially reverse engineer a way to stop us all pouncing on each other for one reason or another.” That was when a final thought hit him, a question of how it got there in the first place. “Wait… Felicity i know we said not to keep saying sorry but i am going to preemptively apologise. The team looking through the wreckage in the shuttle bays, have they performed a metaphysic sweep? It is possible…” “Ooooooh fuck” He muttered under his breath in a dawning dread, remembering what he had forgotten to do just moments prior. =/\= This is med lab, Did i hear something about an emergency in the shuttle bays or am i losing it? =/\=
[Felicity Ellis - Med-Lab 1]"How, how very dare you, sir!"Felicity had no idea if it was the result of the virus or normal behaviour for either Kece or Hathos, but she was finding the whole swinging dick of it all to be really tiresome, and not in the slightest bit helpful. Their options were extremely limited, and to Felicity's mind, there was no time to waste. The call for assistance from the Shuttle Bay made her fear the worst, and when Dimmadome routed the communication from Rin to to her commbadge directly, it confirmed that Sir Doug, her seemingly only hope down there, was out of commission. She sighed. This was a mess. =/\= "Fournier, Rin, this is Ellis. Standby for emergency medical transport." She turned away from Hathos' monitor and positioned herself at a free console. With only a few taps she initiated transport and soon Sir Doug would be safe... or safe- ish in Sickbay. She continued talking to the remaining personnel, feeling some relief that they were at least in the mood for something other than their Science orgy. "Learn as much as you can about that cloaked object, people. The entire Station is in lockdown, and it seems that every resident has been infected by a very specifically engineered virus. We're working on a way to knock everyone out and shut them up to give us a fighting chance against it." =/\= She closed the channel for the moment, and then turned back to Hathos. "Prepare the anesthizine, Ensign. And ensure we have the right cocktail for all physiologies onboard. We don't have time for anything else, we have to minimise damage as this virus runs its course."

[NPC - L’Vysh’ta - Promenade, Front Ear Station ] L'Vysh'ta began to wonder if Nork was simple, or if he was actually attempting to mock her. He may not know who L'Vysh'ta of Talor was, but he would certainly learn. He limited the contest to be one without weapons. That made little difference to her. The Vulcan would be broken regardless. Even his chosen's feeble attempts to protect him would not work. "No weapons," she said agreeing with Nork. "The outcome will remain the same. And your chosen will be able to mount your remains upon her mantle."The Talorian warrior moved closer and beckoned the Vulcan to do the same. "Come... you've already forefeited your life. Do not prolong the inevitable."[Delirium - Promenade] [...] Normally she wasn't one to pursue someone in such a way, as if they were truly interested they wouldn't just walk out on her. So mildly miffed Jem half jogged half stumbled to the entrance. Practically falling over as she took in the scene before her and decided that this was much better than hooking up with Mr Spots as she righted herself. " Ooh there's going to be a fight ... everyone come watch Nork against what's her name from Talor".[ T’Laara - Promenade] Time seemed to slow as she met Nork’s piercing gaze and listened to his confident words. Even when she inevitably stepped back out of their way, T’Laara could almost still feel his lips on her skin and every point they had touched. Heart racing, she watched the Talorian but made no move to intervene. The challenge had been made to Nork alone, and he was sure to win. Though clearly L’Vysh’ta had a different idea, as she made a second remark about delivering his remains to T’Laara. “That is not part of our funeral practices,” she commented idly from the sidelines, not caring whether L'Vysh'ta was actually listening. “However, if that is the Talorian way, I will see what I can do for you.”She was not alone in watching the confrontation. The crowd had not dissipated completely, and Jem Sparkles had reemerged from Delirium. T’Laara clenched her fists at her sides as she stood near the Betazoid again. “Yes, get everyone to come and watch.” Maybe then the mob would regain its strength, and anyone else thinking of a similar challenge would think twice. [Ensign Nork - Promenade]Nork's eyes glistened, appreciating T'Laara's beautifully constructed threat. "Your confidence is unfounded and illogical, your skill untested in this - my arena." It was quite clear to Nork, king, that this Talorian's lack of critical thinking ability would be a weakness he could exploit. While physical superiority did not require excessive use of one's intellect, against a Vulcan such as Nork being without such smarts would leave the Talorian at a loss. He removed what was left of his torn, bloodied and tattered undershirt, and approached. He dropped into his preferred Suus Manha ready stance, just as the crowd began to gather. Chants picked up in volume, while a Ferengi began to take bets.

[ Kova Sh’qaleq - Blue Beta, Promenade, Front Ear Station ] To see him effortlessly leap up and over the bar was just short of being a work of art. Kova could have watch L'Sho simply move about for hours on end. Her head even tilted to the side to further appraise his toned, blue flesh as he wisely retrieved fallen trinkets from those security officers. Yet, it wasn't until he addressed her directly that she actually focused on his words to derive meaning from them. Forcefields... someone was actually trying to control the situation, albeit poorly given that it was interfering with the plan of action taht she and L'Sho had agreed upon. Even his speech was poetic. Normally, it may have been swoon worthy if she didn't need to decipher all of the meaning so quickly. "The Jefferies tubes," Kova repeated with a nod. "You're right, we could get to the Storage Bay that way. I may be able to cycle some of those forcefields so that we can get through without raising suspicion."She had somehow drafted herself to accompany L'Sho. Of course, that actually made sense, because she didn't have a way to communicate with him once he was out of sight. She pressed a few buttons to remove their first obstacle. She then made certain that Chel-E was active. "Go, it will reset in ten seconds," she urged L'Sho. [Ambassador L'Sho, former Primary of Talor, former Supreme Commander of the Talorian Armada - Blue Beta -> Tubes]L'Sho had intended on taking this journey alone, believing that the vast majority of the individuals he had ever met would merely slow him down and be an inconvenience to him. However, this Andorian was proving useful. Very useful indeed. So he gave her a sharp nod, and then prepared to slip through the forcefield at the appropriate time. Under normal circumstances he would never put his back to an unknown and would have insisted she precede him, but these were not normal circumstances. Once through, he made short work of opening the strangely undersized, square door that would lead into the station's innards, or the Jefferies tubes, as she had called them. There was not enough space for one to stand upright, especially not one of L'Sho's height, and so once it narrowed he lowered himself to his knees. "You will have to lead," he informed her, and pressed himself against the side of the tunnel in order to allow her to pass. "This labyrinth is unnatural." There was usually a pleasing, organic flow to the insides of Talorian ships, but in this grid-like organisation, L'Sho realised that his sense of direction might fail him.

[ Shavan Th’zhaar - Shuttle Repair Bay 2] At almost the same moment the cloak dropped, so did Sir Doug. Shavan turned to see what had happened, but otherwise didn't react. Étienne and Rin were already rushing to help; they could take care of having him transported to Sickbay. There was a bigger question in front of them. Rin had spoken more about the debris, and erecting a containment field. “Maybe… if you wouldn’t rather do something else.” Shavan moved closer to him to answer the question, biting his lip as his gaze trailed over the Bajoran. It may not have been a containment field that he was thinking about erecting. Distantly, he overheard the Commander’s call about a virus. But it seemed like the more he tried to focus on the problem, the more distractions were in the way. He took a deep breath, in another reluctant effort to remain on task. After picking up the tricorder again, he ran a more detailed scan of the formerly cloaked debris. Its composition was a match for the metal fragments around it. “Scans confirm that it is a piece of the Orunmila.” And there were no immediately discernible differences from the rest. He narrowed his eyes. So why hide this one piece? Or was it only a diversion? “How would you conceal and deliver a virus with this?” Shavan was thinking out loud, but maybe the others would have some ideas too. Or they could just give in and let it take over. Kaya Som Rin Zakir

[SCPO Jovireh Velal - Front Ear - Promenade]
Her phaser made quick work of the remaining combatants on the deck, and a voice called out over the music coming from Delirium, demanding something of a challenge. Jovireh turned to Nork and opened her mouth to respond, when L'Vysh'ta came out of nowhere and responded in a very different way. "Oh this is going to be good," she muttered under her breath and approached them. She didn't interfere though as they taunted each other, and she gestured for her worn out security team to form a large circle around the Talorian and Vulcans. They could tear each other apart if they wanted, but she wasn't going to let this turn into a dog pile. Crowd control in place, she adjusted the levels on her phaser to a narrow beam and higher stun. Jov didn't mind them taking their egos out on each other, but that didn't mean she was going to just stand by and let them actually kill each other.

[ Kova Sh’qaleq - Blue Beta, Promenade, Front Ear Station ] It hadn't exactly been her intention to follow. In fact, she hadn't found herself conscious of the decision until L'Sho himself had voiced it. And then, she began to question his motives. It made sense that she would come along to navigate and guide him through the Jefferies tubes. However, his insistence that she lead the way. As she knelt down next the opening, she crawled past him. There was a momentary pause as she had moved just ahead of him, and was just adjacent to L'Sho's head. The Andorian glanced back, curious exactly where the ambassador's attention currently rested upon. Kova blinked, reminding herself that they had an objective to meet. "This way," Kova announced. "We should be able to navigate to the correct for at the next juncture about twenty-five meters up ahead." The Andorian then proceeded to crawl forward, in the lead. It was around twenty meters that they met the first forcefield impeding their progress. Kova pulled the panel away on the wall and within a few seconds had managed to get the field to drop. She then motioned for L'Sho to follow as she led the rest of the way.
[NPC - L’Vysh’ta - Promenade, Front Ear Station ] The ignorance of Nork's mate was unbecoming. It was just another testament to how little the Federation had decided to learn about the Talorians. Frankly, it was insulting. And it would be Nork, himself, that would pay for this insult. For some reason, he thought disrobing would benefit him in this battle. If anything, it merely exposed his vital points. As he lowered himself into a fighting stance of his people, L'Vysh'ta did the same, relying upon a serpent-like style[fn] L'Vysh'ta is going for something like this.[/fn]. "Like all Vulcans... you talk," L'Vysh'ta challenged. "There are no words that will spare you." L'Vysh'ta launched so quickly as soon as her words had ended, sending a flurry of blows in Nork's direction. Each aimed to incapacitate her opponent. She wanted Nork to see that final blow coming.

[Ensign Hathos - Med-lab 1 - Environmental Controls, Front Ear Station]
Hathos was thankfully still able to maintain some level of etiquette, but he was close to swearing at or even slapping himself in that moment. He was a doctor, a medical officer, and he was so scattered by the virus in that moment he had acted with idiocy in response to the call for aid over coms. He was grateful the commander was there, but he had to make what functionality he still had worth it, he had to put himself to use however he could. It seemed Felicity was still functioning with enough focus to provide him that direction. “Right away Commander…” He lefty the console, almost barging straight past the Doctor before he corrected his course. “How very helpful, sir.” He sarcastically sighed as he passed however, hoping the other doctor could recover or step aside rather than potentially causing further damage by blocking the work of others.
The ensign left the med labs with speed and adrenaline, jogging with a million thoughts at once as he found himself to an elevator. In his way stood a security crewman, gently butting their head against it’s closed door on repeat and for no apparent reason. They showed no signs of moving even as he called out “Move, Move, i need in there.” So he slid to a halt just behind them, pausing for the briefest moment in hope of a response before he gave up. A spills second recollection of his various training in close combat from both starlet and his parents made him decide to incapacitate the human even if only for a couple seconds. Likely an excessive decision when he could have shoved them, but it seemed the virus gave him no choice but to act. One arm hooked around his neck from behind, bicep against the right artery and forearm against the left. Hathos’s other arm applied the pressure with a grip on the back of their neck and he breathed in to push his chest against the back of the security crew, they were brought down in quick order and he stepped into the elevator straightening his uniform as he did so.
Deck 10 he had been on, and his ride was all the way to deck 23, for the environmental controls in Engineering. It wasn’t too long of a journey given the station’s technology, but it was long enough to make him stir. His breathing became shallow, quicker, his head was a blur of impulses and distractions which made him almost lose sight of where he was going and why. It was only through leaning pianist the side of the chamber he remained upright, as otherwise he may have lost balance too through the attempt of pushing against the infection with will and stubborn determination. Whether it was working or the virus was yet to mutate fully within him he wasn’t sure, be he had to get this done if nothing else. The elevator doors opened and he staggered out.
The Romulan didn’t see who had been waiting, nor did he get a chance to spot them before it hit him, but a swift right hook collided with his jaw and he was made to stumble for a moment. Whoever hit him, while giving it their all, was physically weaker by some margin however and he remained aright just stunned. When the second hook came swimming he was ready, and a swift throw of their own momentum brought his attacker tumbling across the back of their shoulder into the elevator. Hathos staggered at first, not realising till he tasted it that his nose was running blood, but he was too close now to pause.
Once in Engineering his first minute or so was a blind egg hunt, a search for treasure with no understanding of the pathways, but eventually he navigated his way to the console he needed. =/\= Hathos to Med-lab, i’m at the environmental controls =/\= He combed up, his eyes darting around the display and various sections as if his mind were drugged up to speeds he could not process. But he knew his chemicals, he knew his medicine, he knew what percentages to input and prepare and he knew where to find them in the console. When it was ready began laughing, he did not know why but he just laughed. Laughing with such hilarity of joy he couldn’t stop cackling even as he spoke again into his com badge. =/\= The Anesthizine is ready for distribution, just tell me where to pump this shit and the naps will follow shortly. =/\= He ended his input but he kept laughing, laughing so much he felt his stamina weaken as he rested against a nearby rail, trying his best to steady his breathing as he began tapping away against the metal a tune to some song he had stuck in his head a few days prior.

[T’Laara - Promenade]
There was movement along the edge of the gathering crowd, and T’Laara became faintly aware of the Security officers surrounding them. Closing in tighter, like a second layer of force fields. As if they were not affected too… as if that would help. She kept most of her attention on the combatants as they took up fighting stances.
Other people were taking bets, but this did not bother her. It was not her business if anyone felt like losing money. And when the Ferengi passed by her, she too spoke up. “Ten strips of latinum on Nork.” Perhaps a fairly low wager considering her newfound obsession, but it was what she was carrying.
When the Talorian attacked, her gaze was glued to the fight, admiring Nork’s now-shirtless physique and the way that he moved. “Nork! Nork! Nork!” When the crowd began chanting again, she added her voice in the way they had been doing before.

[Outside Delirium - Promenade] Well Jem didn't need telling twice as T'Laara joined her and encouraged the Drag Queen to get more people to watch. " You heard my friend, you don't want to miss this" Jem practically shouted, her tone full of glee and excitement at getting to watch Nork fight his new nemesis. Okay she should really remember his opponent's name but Jem was having a little trouble with that at the moment. She did however spot Jovireh and hoped that the Security Chief wasn't about to spoil the fun by intervening. When that didn't appear to happen, Jem wolf whistled as Nork removed the rest of his tattered undershirt and got ready to pounce. Then when his opponent challenged him and launched her attack, Jem became mesmerised at what she was witnessing. So much so that she hadn't seen Brack start to take bets, until T'Laara spoke up and Jem could never resist a bet. " Ah Brack my good man, Thirty strips of latinum on Nork please" she said graciously, confident that Nork would succeed. Then as T'Laara began to chant the Vulcan's name, Jem was quick to do the same, especially since she wanted him to win and not because she had just bet a lot of latinum on him. " Nork, Nork, Nork".

Nork found her observation about Vulcans talking to be ironic, considering that she was doing the most of it. Likewise with her attacks. He strafed to the left, and needed only a mere half-step to avoid the second, third attacks in her flurry. He followed up with a series of kicks, all utilising the inside of the sole of his bare foot. Meanwhile, Brack was busy being Legendary. "Ten strips on Nork for his Queen!" "Thirty strips on Nork for Jem Sparkles! A lady with an appetite for a deal as big as her hair!" He leered again, meaning it as a compliment. "Anyone for our Talorian challenger? 3 to 1 for L'Vysh'ta the L'Vicious!"

Those hands that caressed the bare skin of his abdomen not so long ago were not using that phaser with grace and precision. He stayed by her side, any combatant getting too close to her was dispatched with a quick snap kick. She came to a stop before dispatching Nork, deciding to watch the fight instead.
The young Intelligence officer took a drag off of his cigarette. Smoke rolling out of his lips as his free hand rested on his abdomen. He stepped forward, a devilish grin on his face. "Ten latinum on zhe Talorian."

[Felicity Ellis - Med-Lab 1]Like a footballer looking for a penalty in the last minute of the game, Kece Lunn went down in the box. "Gyaaahhh! Ah! Ah!" He moaned, rolling around on the floor, clutching his shoulder. Felicity stopped, mid-tap, and stared at the surgeon. While Hathos had passed by close enough to require anyone in his vicinity to perhaps step aside, she knew he had not harmed Lunn. And yet, there he was, acting like he was about to die. "Kece Lunn I swear to whatever Musical Theatre gods you pray to, if you do not shut up right now I will beam you into space."His cries cut off abruptly, and he stared up at her with watery, dark eyes, his expression reflecting the sheer betrayal he felt. He straightened out, still sprawled out on the floor but on his back. He waved his arms up and down and Felicity thought that if it had been snowing, he'd be making an angel. Then he began to sing. "You were working as a waitress in a cocktail bar, when I met you..."Felicity wanted to cry, too. Everything was falling down around them, and she didn't even get to screw her way into the end of the world. "But don't forget it's me who put you where you are now And I can put you back down too."The team down in the Shuttle Bay; she had to focus on them. Forget about the big baby screeching out an Earth pop classic. How did he even know that song, anyway? Wasn't he a Betazoid? "DON'T. DON'T YOU WANT ME.""Not particularly."She scanned for her people with the unidentified cloaked object. Their commbadges were still there and still receiving, which meant they were preoccupied with something else and that she may have lost them. "DON'T YOU WANT ME, OH WOW WOW -"Lieutenant Dr. Chief Kece Lunn's body (and his voice) disappeared from the Med Lab in the muted glittering of a transporter beam, and reappeared somewhere else, far, far away. Later, when asked, Felicity would say she knew exactly where she'd beamed him to, but in truth, she hadn't cared enough in the moment to double-check her impromptu calculations. Soon afterward Hathos would reach out, and finally, something seemed to be going right. =/\= "It's good to hear you're safe, Ensign. Give me one moment, I'm about to send you several areas that have seen the highest number of violent incidents." =/\= She could hear his laughter, and even though the connection had dropped when he'd finished speaking, she could imagine the tinge of hysteria that might grow within the sound. She clenched her jaw, it was now or never. =/\= "You should be receiving my data now. Start with the Promenade. And once you're finished, Hathos, get yourself somewhere safe..." =/\=

[ PO2 Étienne Fournier (bio) | Shuttle Repair Bay 2 ]Étienne had really wanted to do his job and help save the station from what he assumed had been the Orunmila's sweaty, clawing end. The El-Aurian had been transported away, and there were urgent voices coming through the comms about viruses and knock-outs and survival. Étienne could have been of use, technically speaking. But all he wanted was that everyone present should have their pants off, to drink in every inch of skin and beauty of Shavan and Rin Zakir, whoever he was. If somehow, he could find the limits of their bodies, then maybe, just maybe, the universe would make sense! If they could go beyond the simple self and ride post coital clarity to the event horizon, maybe the great ache would be satisfied! To Shavan and Zakir, Étienne offered every advance, made each sensual suggestion, and accepted all offers with grateful, focused enthusiasm. Nothing seemed more perfect and certain than to do this at the cost of literally everything else. Shavan Th'zhaar, Rin Zakir

[NPC - L’Vysh’ta - Promenade, Front Ear Station ] L'Vyshta was nearly disappointed by the overly defensive exchange from Nork. She had expected at least somewhat of a fight from him after what she had seen of the station's current Security Chief, Jovireh Velal. She had at least challenged L'Vysh'ta and her belief that pacifism had made the Federation week. Nork was reinforcing those earlier belief, suggesting that the Romulan hybrid was more of an anomaly than anything else. And then, the Vulcan's tactics changed. He went on the offensive, modifying his strategy. In fact, his style of attack seemed like a modified style of her own. She felt one of her blows blocked, and an instance where her own momentum had been used against her, leaving her open to attack from a flurry of kicks. To stand and oppose would only do more damage. L'Vysh'ta continued forward, curling into a ball, as her momentum helped her to roll and moved her back to her feet, putting a bit of distance between them. So, this was his game? To watch and learn. L'Vysh'ta smirked, welcoming the challenge. She inched her way closer to Nork, this time not telegraphing her movements as before. This time, she was more subtle in her delivery, as she ignored the chants and bids made on the fight. Such a strange culture this was... looking to profit from the demise of the participants. As if life could be reduced to a sum of financial compensation. It would serve them right to lose their riches right along with the life of their champion. L'Vysh'ta's next set of volleys were designed to keep Nork busy and possibly deliver an opening. A strike low, then high... high and then low... a swift kick to the middle, all while looking for a careless strike or block that she could exploit, and bind into a hold. While submission and mercy weren't options, the Talorian would gladly settle for inflicting agonizing pain and choking the life out of the Vulcan with each passing second.

And once you're finished, Hathos, get yourself somewhere safe..." =/\= [Ensign Hathos - Environmental controls, Main Engineering -> Med-lab 1]=/\= Same goes for you commander, It’s nice to hear you’re still kicking up there. =/\= He responded as he waited for the data to be transmitted. The laughter in his chest dying down finally but leaving him exhausted, as if his breathing were no better than one who had run multiple laps of the whole station. Still tapping away on the rail he steadied himself as best he could, that was when he heard the tapping in response. Not the tapping of a finger like he had been, but that of metal striking metal, someone tapping a pipe perhaps against railing as they walked. His head darted in the direction of the sound, managing to perceive past the echoes and figure out what direction they were approaching from, a colleague he doubted would be very friendly with such an ominous arrival. The Romulan crouched slightly and walked back to the console, keeping himself ready to input at a moment’s notice, but likewise ready to defend himself if pushed to it. A bead of sweat began to roll down his forehead from his dark waves of hair, a hand itching slightly at his stubbled cheek as the seconds passed like hours but soon he heard her, the sound of his commander confirming the data stream, but so too did the sound stop. Without hesitation he spun to the console and began inputting the distribution sequence. Aligning each of the areas sent to him in order of priority so that those experiencing the most violence like the promenade would be dealt with first. He managed to time the sequencing enough that the following areas would not begin till the previous was almost complete, as to ensure they did not cause any faults in the distribution systems by forcing them all at once. With a deep breath and a grin of success he clenched his fist in pride, tapping his badge to confirm the success as soon as depressed the button for the anaesthetic begin. =/\= Hathos to med-lab, Anesthizine is currently being distributed to the promenade with other areas lined up in sequence. I will…=/\= He was forced suddenly to halt his report as the doctor rolled to the side in a last minute escape. The bar of metal which had been intended for his head striking the wall beside the console instead. Wielding it was another ensign from engineering though he could not place their face as Hathos rose himself to his feet. “I swear on my homeworld and yours if you swing that thing again i will defend myself.” A threat he threw out from a random thought though he knew himself he would do so either way, in fact when the engineer approached it was the Romulan who dove to action first. Darting sideways preemptively to make them readjust their grip before they could get another good swing, but by this time he was too close. The mad slash came but Hathos managed to catch the man’s arms under his own, his left creating a cradle which captured their attack and his right coming down in a chop against there side of their neck. A strike which managed to disorientate them and and caused the figure to hunch slightly. “Fuck, right off.” He growled out through gritted teeth as he clenched his fists together in a double handed chop, both hands swinging down on the back of their head as if wielding an invisible axe, the force of the blow sending the other ensign to the ground last heir weapon clattered loose. Shaky, staggered breaths followed he blinked away the haze of the fight, turning around just in time to watch as another Engineer tackled them to the ground. Several strikes followed, fists striking the doctor’s face before he could raise his own arms in defence, but he eventually managed to wrestle free. Striking the midriff of the attacker then elbowing their jaw till they rolled off. There he laid for a while, wandering if it was even worth moving, or if he should simply stay there for as long as his system was not his own. He did climb however, back to his feet and staggered hurt along the walkway till he was back in the main corridor. He figured he should begin his journey back to the med-lab, but if he would make it there as more blood ran from his nose and lip he did not know.
