[Ens. Isaiah Quinn - Bridge, USS Mac] [...] "Excuse me, Captain," Isaiah said speaking up. He was certain he had probably captured Thea's attention as well. "Commander." He added the greeting with a nod, thinking to address her by her rank given that she was also acting XO. "Stellar Cartography just confirmed a subspace eddy in the path of our current heading. Both you and the Helm should have those coordinates now." As he finished speaking, he had forward the coordinates to the Helm and the command consoles. A slight smile appeared on his face, just as his attention returned to his console. [ Thea - Bridge, USS Mac] Thea found Captain Ellis to be warm, fair and someone who the Doctor could easily get on with and her assessment of her, wasn't wrong as she was greeted with a smile and a thank you. The CMO returned the smile warmly as the PADD was taken and the CO then asked about her Medical recruits and if Stellar Cartography had suggested any course corrections. The first question she could answer easily but for the second, the Acting XO, was aware that Stellar Cartography were still working on it. " They seem to be doing well and fitting in, I'll be checking in on them a bit later" she replied, as she moved towards the designated XO chair. That still felt a little weird whenever she sat in it, as if she was only keeping it warm. However just before she could add about Stellar Cartography, Isaiah politely drew their attention to him, resisting the urge to smile like an idiot, something she usually did whenever they were off duty. Instead she settled on what she hoped was a normal warm smile to respond to him, as the Science officer, gave them the much anticipated response from Stellar Cartography. That smile of his was something that always give her a nice feeling as the arm consoles pinged with the information that he had relayed. " Thank you, Ensign and I was about to say, that I was waiting on them, but their information came at the right time".Thea then sat down and once Helm confirmed, knew it wouldn't take them long, to move out of the Eddy's way. [Felicity Ellis - Bridge, USS Mac]"Good to hear," Felicity said in response to Dr. Baker's report on her newest additions' progress. "Remind me later to pay Sickbay a visit." It wouldn't be for a physical check up, though she'd be checking up on them. Not for any nefarious reasons, of course, she just wanted to make sure she was accessible to them. She'd always have a very special affinity for those in her former department. It had been a while since she'd been a Chief Medical Officer, but the experience had taught her so much. It was her hope that Thea Baker would feel the same way, upon the day of her next inevitable promotion. At the sound of Quinn's address, she turned slightly in her chair in order to get a better look at the speaker at his console. Once he'd finished his short update, her eyes darted to her personal console to confirm the new data. As the Commander had already thanked him, Felicity didn't bother repeating the sentiment. Instead she turned her attention to the flight officer in front of them. "Helm, update course. I'd like the path of least resistance calculated, please, and an ETA as soon as possible." Then back to Quinn, she nodded. "Continue long range scans, Ensign. Let us know if anything pops." She'd trust the science officer to judge exactly what constituted 'popping'. Then, the blessed yeoman appeared, with blessed caffeine. [NPC Yeoman Heather Hill - Bridge, USS Mac] Yeoman Heather Hill made her way onto the Bridge from the turbolift, tray containing a carafe of coffee and other accoutrements deftly balanced on one hand, stack of report filled PADDs in the other, tucked slightly under her arm. She made her way over to Captain Ellis and Commander Baker, a smile on her face. ”Good morning Captain, Commander. The early bird gets the worm, but the slightly later yeoman brings coffee and sweet rolls. The little pots have cream and sugar, if you like, Commander.”The yeoman knew her captain took her coffee black and strong. And never, ever tea. Especially this early in the day. The PADDs were stacked in order of importance, well the one from Admiral Ellis was sort of important, but she’d stacked it further down. No one wanted to deal with that woman this early in the day, and it’d put her Ellis in a mood blacker than the coffee. "Ah, Yeoman, how did I live without you?" Felicity asked in a wistful tone, her special mug already in hand and raised, ready to receive the extra strong, black brew. "So, what's on the agenda this morning?" She asked, nodding toward the stack of PADDs. Now that the informal morning breakfast club had commenced, she was ready for some of the boring parts of the business. She helped herself to some coffee, then replaced it on the tray so that Thea could help avail if she so pleased. "Ensign Quinn, would you like a cup?" She offered the man, not wanting to force her people to watch her slurp coffee and scarf down sweet rolls without first offering to share. "Yeoman Hill makes the best brew. It'll put hair on your... chest."She grinned at the yeoman before taking a generous gulp.

He heaved a little in protest. As he moved towards the holodeck the smell only grew stronger. He didn't know if O'Leary was a cook, but if she was she wasn't a very good one as whatever appetite he had was quickly diminishing amidst the wave of nauseating meat-smell. For a brief moment when the hatch opened, his olfactory intuition told him he had walked into a British pie shop, even while all his other senses vehemently disagreed. A few seconds later, after his eyes had adjusted to the dimly lit chamber and he equated the savoury fragrance to a plate of sausage rolls carried by a young lieutenant, Derek strolled through the doorway and introduced himself to the other two occupants amiably. "Good Morning. Lieutenant O'Leary, I presume? Derek Black, recently transferred from the Academy." He waited for O'Leary to free up a hand by finishing her half-eaten pastry before offering his own to shake, and then the other Ensign's in greeting. [Lieutenant Niamh O'Leary - Holodeck 1]"Hangin' together, Ensign," she told the Risan honestly when he entered and inquired after her health. She was hungover most mornings; it was her general default state of being for early briefings. "Wouldn't know anything about that, now," O'Leary said of the mystery of the smelly corridor, before pointing toward the tray of breakfast, "Sausy roll?"Grippen was quickly followed by a new face, who wasted no time in introducing himself and identifying her. "Aye, that's me, for my sins." She popped the rest of the pastry into her mouth and then wiped her hand on the pant leg of her uniform before reaching out to take his hand in introduction. She nodded for a few beats, not quite so uncouth as to speak with her mouth full, but neither too proper to excuse herself. "Good to have ye, Mr. Black. No doubt we'll be knockin' those desk-ridin' cobwebs off ye in due course out here in the back-arse of nowhere. This chap here is Ensign Grippen." She stepped back so the two men could greet each other and then after a brief pause, loaded the program. "Computer, activate Program N-O-L-One-Zero."All around them, in neat, orderly rows, appeared models of various light craft in 1/43 scale. "Right lads, we've a few items to discuss today. Cap'n would like us to decide on a coupla fighter options. In her infinite wisdom, she also wants the Ark modified for longer range transport," she said, her tone just a shade terse as she bent down and plucked another sausage roll from the pile. "Thoughts?"

Isaiah Quinn - Bridge, USS Mac] Isaiah nodded at Thea as she commented that his report had been right on time, just as she was about to inform the captain that she was waiting for information from Stellar Cartography. He started to return his attention to the console before him when he heard the captain address him. She'd asked him to continue with long range scans and alert them if anything pops. He responded with a slight smile and a nod. "Absolutely, ma'am." he said simply before returning to his duties. Honestly, he was sort of glad to be off the station. He'd heard about a delegation coming to the Front Ear, but avoiding that was hardly why he was pleased. His heart had been with the stars for quite some time. They had lured him away from practicing medicine. And the opportunity to chart a region of space that they'd yet to do was as precious as gold. The sound of the turbolift opening hadn't captured his attention this time, but the scent that accompanied it certainly had. It was as if the scent of coffee was a seductress, curling his chin upwards with the tip of her finger. His eyes fell upon Yeoman Heather Hill as she approached Captain Ellis and Lt. Commander Baker with breakfast. It was certainly a perk of command that was easy to be envious of. Of course, from Isaiah's point of view, it was a privilege those ladies had earned and from what he'd seen of them and their abilities as officers was well deserved. Isaiah looked up from his console as the captain addressed him once more, this time offering him some of coffee. He chuckled slightly at the captain's testimony to the brew's strength. "As legendary as the yeoman's brew may be. I'm afraid I'll have to decline," he replied. "I've already had a couple of cups before shift this morning, and would like to fall asleep sometime tonight, Captain." He smiled towards the command section of the bridge at the three ladies, hoping the explanation would suffice. Besides, he preferred a touch of caramel, and certainly had no intention of asking the yeoman to customize his coffee order.

[ Thea - Bridge, USS Mac] " Thank you and I will" Thea replied happily to what the Captain had said regarding her report on her newest members, as well as the reminder for the CO to pay a visit to Sickbay later. Now she just had to settle into the XO's chair and hopefully her good mood would continue, especially with the added bonus of Isaiah being nearby. Adjusting her position slightly, Thea felt a little better, knowing it was probably a subconscious feeling that she thought of herself as a fraud sitting in that particular chair. Something that she would no doubt get over, given the amount of times, she would be on the Bridge. With the Captain then issuing orders to both the helm and Quinn, regarding the information that had been sent from Stellar Cartography. Thea listened, before the hiss of the lift doors drew her attention to them and the arrival of Yeoman Hill. The smell emanating from the tray that she was carrying, had Thea's stomach rumble in appreciation, as she then greeted them. Appreciating that she mentioned the cream and sugar, as Felicity spoke with her and asked what was on the agenda for the morning. This was something else that Thea was getting used to, the coffee and breakfast items that Hill always provided and certainly enjoyed this particular perk, that came with her added responsibilities. She also liked how Flick thought of the others on the Bridge as she offered Quinn a cup and commented so favourably about the brew. " Morning Yeoman and thank you, its appreciated" Thea said as she too helped herself to the delicious smelling black gold. Adding cream to it as Isaiah responded to the Captain's offer. Holding back from the quip and teasing comment, that she would normally say when in his company and smiled back at him.

[Hallway – Unknown Ship] Tom walked the Hallway as he kept thinking about what they stumbled into. It was true that some places like the Orion Syndicate had a symbol; this one was elaborate. The way they moved showed that they were trained and they fire with decent accuracy. Tom continued his silent walk as he heard a noise from the hallway. Someone sent a distress signal and this group of people seemed to be intent of killing this ship and harming his own ship and crew. Hindsight 20/20 he figured that it was not the best idea to be involved, but it was already too late. As he heard the noise in the hallway he put his back into the wall and slowly peaked. He observed two guys putting some of the device in the door. “Heh, it’s silly to think that they locked this door when we have a master key right here” The first man said. “They should let us kill them. Making us work for a kill” The second man said. “I am not your friend Private. I am a Luitenant! Please respect me” The First man said. As Tom observed that he had something on his shoulder. Maybe that is how they identified their rank, “Sorry, Sir. I think I have an idea” The private said as he stuttered a little bit. “What is it?” The Lieutenant asked. “Well…how about we knock on the door. Tell them that we won’t kill them. They will open the door and then we kill them!, Sir” The Soldier asked. “That’s a great idea!”. The Officer said as he knocked on the door. “Hey Come out….we promise we won’t kill you!” A voice came from inside it was a young female and said “No Thank you. We heard your plan.” “Can they hear us behind this door?” The Soldier asked. Tom listened to them and shook his head. “Idiots” . However, this plan gave him a clue that the person that needed rescuing was behind. The Door was the only thing to get them in and out. Tom observed as the two people and said “ Hey tweedle dee tweedle dum, time to go to sleep” . As he finished he shot them quickly. As he looked in the hallway, he observed a person that he believed might be dead. In his chest, there was a different coat of arms or a symbol. It would not take a genius to figure out that there two groups of people were fighting and the ones that were loosing sent a distress signal. As he looked at the bodies in this hallway it was simple to see that they died protecting this hallway. Tom approached the door and observed the two stun guards. And next to them an explosive. With the bad hull integrity those idiots would have blown everyone on the ship up. He pressed the door and it appeared to be locked. =/\= Jett to Aella, do you mind hacking this door for me? =/\= Ordinarily he would have the equipment to hack doors but since he came to a rescue, he was not prepared for this. =/\= No Problem Boss, also you owe me Hazzard Pay and Stupidity Money =/\= . As she mentioned the comment. Tom rolled his eyes but promptly the door opened. As soon as it opened, Tom walked in and observed an injured man. “My name is Captain Jett and I’m here to help” . Tom said as he began lowering his weapon as a sign and non-hostility. Next to the injuries bloodied man, there was a humanoid female. She was blond and looked well dressed. She appeared to be concered to the man. The man dropped his weapon and Tom approached him to check his injuries. He observed them and took his pulse that appeared to be weak. “Well, how does it look?” The person asked Tom. Tom looked at the person with sympathy and sadness. “I’m sorry” . Tom responded. He was no doctor, he had no medical equipment and the ones on the ship was hardly Starfleet Medical standard. The man lost much blood, and he believed that without proper equipment or a doctor there was no way he could save him. The female teenage stood there in shocked and the man looked at Tom. He took his crown and said “Bear witness of my last act. With the powers vested in me, I coronate my daughter, Princess Victoria heir to the crown…long live…” As the man finished his statement he stopped mid-sentence as his eyes looked lifeless. The man passed away. “DAD! DAD!! DADDY!!” The princess yelled. And she hug the dead man while crying. Tom took a deep breath and said “Crap”

A smile was on her face as her efforts were well received, and she gave polite head bobs to Commander Baker and Ensign Quinn. Now if her eyes weren’t deceiving her, there seemed to be a little something there between the two officers. Interesting. Her attention shifted to the PADDs she carried, the other part of her job. ”I just do what I can to help. Top of the pile today, Captain, as you’re well aware, we’ve had an influx of new crew. I’ve compiled their profiles, complete with interesting facts highlighted, and sorted the lot alphabetically by department. You can peruse at your leisure and once you do your face to face meet and greet, you’ll have a good idea of who they are. We’ve got an overview of the various repairs and upgrades from engineering, both for the Mac and Front Ear. Lotta good things happening by the looks of it, though I’m not much for the technical jargon myself. A few requests to schedule meetings when you’re back on the station. I wanted to run them by you before committing. And last, but certainly not least, a message from our “favorite” Admiral. Not the one with the cute mole.” Heather pointed at the side of her chin, mentioning the beauty mark to inject some humor. She knew Ellis would know which two admirals she spoke of. Hopefully, bolstered by the coffee and other positive news, she’d managed to balance out the good and the bad. Well, she wasn’t sure what the message was, but it was better to plan for the worst. Then she could be pleasantly surprised when things turned out nice.

[...] [Deck 8, Holodeck 1] As soon as he stepped out from the turbolift the smell of meat hit him, but not the good kind of meat rather the kind of meat that's ground together from parts of the animal no one wants. He heaved a little in protest. As he moved towards the holodeck the smell only grew stronger. He didn't know if O'Leary was a cook, but if she was she wasn't a very good one as whatever appetite he had was quickly diminishing amidst the wave of nauseating meat-smell. He strode into the holodeck and spotted the chief of flight, "Good morning, chief. How are you this morning. There was this odd smell out in the corridor..."[...]
[Deck 8 - Holodeck 1]
Very few pilots got to pick which craft their flew in, and even fewer had a hand in designing them. This was surely an exclusive opportunity and one that'd look great on his Starfleet record. [Unknown Ship – Safe Room]
Tom looked at the young girl as she seems distraught over the death of her father. He wondered what he got himself into as it appeared that the blue people appeared to be wanting to kill the “Royal” people. From the way they were holding their weapons and their clothes, Tom felt confident that they were not trained for combat. The girl with her dress did not appear to be a soldier if anything like something in a story book.
“All right, we should go, your highness” . Tom said as he tried to be soft as he observed that the woman weeping. Tom knew that it was heartless to leave the body of her Dad behind, but that is what needed to be done.
Victoria stopped, crying and looked directly at his blue eyes. She had a fire in her eyes, as it was clear that she was clearly upset with Jett. She stopped crying and went toward him. She charged him hitting his chest with fist. “How dare you leaving him behind!!! He is my King! I hate you” . She mentioned. As she continued to hit his chest with her fist. As she continued she keep crying.
Tom felt the punches. It hurt a little but he figured that her pain was more emotionally as the moment. As she kept crying Tom observed as two other soldiers in the hallway. “Right now escaping alive is our first priority” . He quickly pushed her away as she hit the ground hard. He took cover as quickly as he observed them shooting at the direction.
“The King is dead….there is no point” . Tom yelled as the soldiers as he continued with his cover. He observed that the Princess also ran and took cover.
“Is there a woman there with you…we determined that your ship does not belong to the Royal Navy. If you Surrender…you can leave here” The leader shouted.
“Are they really trying the same strategy one me? I’m stupid but not that stupid” . Tom said to himself as he listened to the guard.
“Our Beef is not against you is against the Royal Family, they have been tried in Abstencia, and found guilty for crimes against the people of Samara. We demand that you hand them over at once…or we will take them by force” The leader yelled at Tom
Tom looked at the princess and responded “Crap” . This day is getting better and better.

Surreptitiously brushing a few stray crumbs from his hand before shaking the other ensign's, Derek gave the lieutenant a relaxed smile. "Nowhere seems like a pretty good place to get back into a cockpit. Less things to crash into." O'Leary seemed friendly enough, and her banter had none of the eager nervousness which so often plagued younger officers. Glancing around them as the holodeck flickered to life, he cursorily inspected the 'selection', much as one might glance over the sample display at a Japanese replimat. Lightly tapping on the nose of one model he recognized, a Federation fighter used during the war, Derek quirked his head slightly as it rotated serenely along it's disturbed axis. "We called these the 'flying coffins'. Phasers mounted on an engine, and a seat for the pilot to hold onto." He commented casually, leaning forward to closer appraise detailing along it's dorsal fins. [Ens. Lurai Sren – USS Mac – Sickbay]
Just as Lurai finished updating the last medical journal, the sickbay was plunged into semi-darkness as the ceiling lights went out. There was still the dim light from the medical consoles and the screen she'd been working on, but something was clearly amiss. ”Computer, lights.” Beep beep. The computer's soft mechanical voice replied: ”Unable to comply due to technical error.”Lurai got up from her seat, told a nurse to hold the fort in sickbay while she went to find out what the error was. The lights in the corridor outside were still on, so seemingly it was only sickbay that was affected. She tapped her comm-badge. ”Doctor Sren to engineering. The lights just went out in sickbay, any idea what's going on?” Tag: Kaya Som Damian Oerstadt

[ Damian - Deck 12 - Banquet hall; USS Mac] There was no pleasantries exchanged as he found himself rather abruptly bodied out of the way between the sparking panel and crewman Som. He would have pushed back if he hadn't seen the disaster that had befallen them suddenly as the light flashed red alert; though without the alarm. Somewhat of a blessing in disguise, he supposed with a grim look at the crewman's handiwork. Of course, it seemed that the hall wasn't the only place affected now. Not with the message that had chimed over his comm badge, allowing Damian to look at Som with a somewhat smug look on his face, quirking a brow. Actions spoke louder than words. "Engineering to medbay, having a few....technical difficulties in the Banquet Hall. Crewman Som and I are working on it." He was just about to sign off when he remembered his manners. "Apologies for the inconvience, doc."With that, Damian got back onto his haunches to approach the panel again - finger raised in mild warning not to interrupt as he fiddled around with the panel. The spark had fried one set of cables. He hissed through gritted teeth, venting his irritation. No. He needed to stay composed. "We need three Axiom cables to replace these. Two conductors and five capacitors." Kaya Som, Lurai Sren

[Ens. [NPC Yeoman Heather Hill - Bridge, USS Mac] After coffee and treats had been doled out, Heather carefully placed the tray on an inactive console nearby, keeping it close at hand for refills. [bridge-USS MAC] Alex made his way onto the bridge after getting dressed into his uniform. He didn’t want to be late or miss out on any important information that might be discussed. As he arrived on the bridge he was glad that he wasn’t late despite arriving only a little bit later. He didn’t waste any time as he worked to calculate what path would have the least resistance possible with the ETA to have it done as soon as possible. As soon as he got that done with the coordinates to the path in mind and said “it’s good to go captain.” He was so focused on what he needed to do that he tuned out any distractions. He thought about getting some coffee but he was needed at the helm so he just stayed right where he was. With his calculations it wasn’t going to take long before they were on their way out. He was confident in what he learned from his grandfather and what he learned while he was in the academy. Those skills that he learned were going to be useful to him whenever he was at the helm. It was good for him to be prepared for what they were going to encounter. Tag Felicity Ellis [Felicity Ellis - Bridge, USS Mac]Felicity couldn't but grin in response to Quinn's refusal. "Understood, Ensign," she said when he voiced his desire to actually sleep that evening. She often had problems sleeping herself, though for entirely different reasons. She brought the mug to her lips and took another grateful sip as she listened to Hill's summary. Plucking the topmost PADD, she began to peruse it, nodding when the yeoman mentioned the interesting facts. Those were her favourite. Not at all Starfleet standard, but to a former counselor and someone as nosy invested as Felicity was, she found them very useful. She was also someone who liked to know everything that she needed to know. She would never enter a Meet & Greet with new recruits unprepared. Names and faces were important; remembering them was the least she could do when they gave so much to their crewmates and their ship. She passed that PADD across to Dr. Baker, who would likely find the information just as valuable. The next couple of PADDs were repair reports and requisitions, which she would go through in further detail later. The Mac was in a decent state, having seen little action or damage in the previous six months. The Station, however, was a different kettle of fish. Or lobsters. It had fallen into disrepair and she'd despaired somewhat over the accounts of negligence from their Chief and her assistant. But those weren't nearly so bad as the prospect of reading the correspondence from Admiral Ellis was. She actually audibly groaned. Not the most professional thing for a Captain to do when faced with the task of dealing with a superior, but Felicity found that it was entirely too early in the morning for stiff upper-lipping. "Why is it never the one with the cute mole?" She muttered to herself, taking the final PADD from the always helpful Heather Hill and squinting at it. She read the first few lines, made a unhappy noise, added it to the pile, and then pushed it from her mind. It would keep for an hour. "Send me on the meeting requests, if you would, Yeoman. I'd like to keep some time free to spend with my new godson, and of course, there are some preparations to be made for Greg's upcoming wedding." Often it felt as though her time was never her own, but she would make a point of moving a few things around to ensure she saw enough of her family. "Oh, that reminds me, we'll need to talk gifts." What does one buy the most disgustingly happy couple? Babies, kids, they were all easy, but grown-ass people? Not so much. A confirmation came from the helm then, and Felicity's eyes were forward once again. "Thank you, Ensign. Amend course to reflect your changes, maintain Warp 9."

"Nowhere seems like a pretty good place to get back into a cockpit. Less things to crash into." [Lieutenant Niamh O'Leary - Holodeck 1]Niamh O'Leary shrugged at Grippen's polite decline of her sausage roll offer. More delicious soakage for her. She wiped a few stray pastry flakes of her own from her chest and carried on, expression revealing that she approved of Black's choice to return to the cockpit. There was one reason, and one only that she was out here, doing these sometimes ridiculous things, and that was for the privilege of flying one of the most beautiful crafts ever conceived. She moved through some of the lines herself as she listened to the two officers give their thoughts on the project. "Thing is, Grippen, we don't rightly now what the exact parameters are goin' to be. We're out here, on the edge of so much unknown. Who knows if the next face we meet will be a friendly or not, or if it'll have a face at all, at all." She stopped near the fighter that Black was studying and continued, "They won't come out and say that they're preparing us for potential conflict, 'cause that's not very Starfleet, is it, but that's the impression I'm gettin'."As the former instructor spoke of the particular model used during the battles of recent history, O'Leary found herself studying him with a tilted head. "Was just a cadet meself when it started." Then she shook her head, dark ponytail swishing from side to side. "We haven't trained as hard as we have and gained these mighty skills just to play battleship out here," she said, her tone quite resolute. Things would be different, she could feel it. "The Ark, like Grippen mentioned, is solid, an all-rounder, but primarily used these days for transportation. Its innards were scooped out for cargo space and fifty-two passenger seats." She'd liked where the Risan had been taking that train of thought. "We should have a wee chat with Engineering, so we should. If they can increase the range it could be very effective as a small squad launcher. Four fighter light craft could fit, I reckon."

[Uknown Ship – Safe Room] Tom took cover behind a wall. As he felt shots going by him. In the corner of the eye he observed that the young teenage girl was also taking cover. Once in a while he would turn around and fire at the enemy position in order to prevent them from advancing. He pulled his pistol and saw his ammo capacity. It was going down quickly as he did not intend to get in a massive firefight. “How about we call it truce…the structural integrity of this place is going downhill fast. I am in a defendable position. So we can do this all day long”. Tom bluffed he knew the position was only defensible because he had ammo. Once he was out, he was dead. The Officer on the other side said “I’ll make you a counteroffer, hand me Victoria and we promise to let you go” Tom smiled as they acted as he expected. “Let’s say I bite…and I hand her over to you my only leverage. How do I know you won’t kill me when you have her” . Tom smiled and chuckled. He looked at Victoria as she appeared to be scared. “You’re not thinking of handing me over to them?” . Victoria asked as she appeared to be scared. She realized that she was nothing more than a negoatiation chip. “You simply have no other choice” The Officer informed Tom. “See, the way I see it. If I hand her over to you, you will kill me as you don’t want any witnesses. Which, I can’t make money if I am dead. The only way for me to make money is either One escape and I sell her to your government or two I protect her and het reward money.” . Tom responded to the guy. “It’s that what I am to you a paycheck? You are an awful person” Vitoria commented to Jett. She thought for a second to run away from this person. But there was no place to run. “ I’m sorry it’s It’s called business sweetheart” . Tom responded seriously to the early age adult. *** NPC – First Officer Aella Aella sat on the Captain’s chair as she monitored the ship. The Hull integrity of the ship was deteriorating quickly and both herself and her Captain knew the situation. They already sustained some damage fighting two-ship and her guess from their technology was early warp. Which meant that they had the advantage of fighting them, but not for long. She monitored the location of her Captain and figured that either the attackers would need to leave to save their lives all they all die. It was clear that they were not pirates but if they were part of a military why only send a handful of a ship? She wondered…all of the sudden she heard a beep coming from the sensors. “Mother Frackers!” . She yelled as it appeared that there was a small fleet of them arriving to their position. “I wanted to salvage a ship not get blown up on a random war! . There was a profit on salvaging and rescuing ship but not enough if they were dead. [/color=olive] =/\= Aella to Captain Jett…I have bad news…I am detecting a fleet of them coming to our position. And I don’t think they are here to host us for dinner” =/\= [/color] ** Tom kept his back as he was still protected by a cover. He felt the ship shake again and its structural integrity was collapsing. He heard the message and took it into account all of the factors, he was trapped with no escape route, a Fleet was coming into their position and they had no idea what they gotten themselves into. =/\= “Can we send a pathetic don’t shoot us we are harmless message?” =/\= Tom joked at it was clear that from the damage they have done they were not harmless. =/\= Send a distress call and hold your position. =/\= . Tom mentioned as he appeared to be frustrated. “So you’re not turning me over?” . Victoria asked as she was curious of the man motive. “I can’t make money out of you if you are dead” . Tom responded as it appeared he already cast his fate with her camp. *** NPC – First Officer Aella As Aella heard the message, she slammed her fist in the Captain chair. Sending a distress signal would be pathetic something that she was not used to. Asking for help it was something for the weak and she was not a vulnerable person. She has the Falcon stay in the position with the weapons still hot, as she expected another battle to take place shortly. =/\= “Attention, any vessels in the vicinity. This is the S.S. Falcon, a civilian Freighter under a possible attack by an unknown government. We responded to a distress signal and they appear to be hostile, request immediate assistance. =/\= As Aella stopped the message, she figured that it was a matter of blind luck to have a ship around the area that has enough firepower to help them.

[...] ”Doctor Sren to engineering. The lights just went out in sickbay, any idea what's going on?”[...] [...] Of course, it seemed that the hall wasn't the only place affected now. Two conductors and five capacitors." [ Kaya Som - Deck 12, Banquet Hall ]Ah, lovely. Kaya had broken Sickbay. Always something nice to have in your record. But did the young Trill spare any panic? No, it was only the lights. And neither did she spare Oerstadt the satisfaction of looking contrite. He could smug himself to sleep. She made no move to interfere when Oerstadt returned to the work; there was no reason to harass him further and he seemed truely on his last nerve. So, she just shined her light over his shoulder. He was right. The parts were crispified. With a sigh, Kaya pressed up to her feet. They couldn't very well replicate them in here. "No, it's fine. Don't get up. I will ... be right back, then..." she said languidly. They'd be in supply at Engineering. [ Exit Kaya from Deck 12 (Banquet Hall) to transit between Deck 12 and Deck 15 (Engineering) ]

[Lieutenant Niamh O'Leary - Holodeck 1]Niamh O'Leary shrugged at Grippen's polite decline of her sausage roll offer.
Tags: Malik Grippen and Derek Black [Deck 8, Holodeck 1] Malik listened with interest at Black's reminiscing about the Dominion War, so he was a veteran of the conflict. Malik joined the academic a year after the war ended, just when Starfleet were desperate for new recruits. He hadn't even flown in a non-simulated engagement yet, he was greener than freshly cut grass. "Let's not go with the flying coffin model."Then Sausage-O-Leary went on to describe her ideas for the Ark to be converted into a mini-carrier, an interesting concept. He wasn't aware of anything like it in the current Starfleet inventory. He considered the idea for a moment. "An interesting concept, converting the Ark into a carrier. If we could make the load-out modular in nature we could equip it for whatever mission was required. For example, if we wanted more heavy fighters we could equip it for 2, over the standard 4 light-fighters."
"Then there's the additional space required for maintenance, loading etc. It may also be a good idea to place some bunks for the engineering support staff and the pilots. As for the launch mechanism, force fields built into the hanger floor could enable rapid deployment straight out the bottom."He continued, "We could also have specialised craft in each deployment, a early warning craft, jamming craft etc. This could really be a very versatile platform, of course I'm no engineer, but there will be a balance in the power requirements in trade-off of capabilities for the Ark."Then he realised he'd been talking for quite some time, not allowing the other two to speak. "Anyway, just some ideas."
