[Charlie Fox - Ha'mara Pavillion, LZ-2]"Well, thanks for having me," Charlie responded after a brief pause, taking a moment to consider the unexpected reaction the Vedek had to her presence. She was sometimes ignored, sometimes ridiculed, at times tolerated but rarely welcomed. "It's lovely." There was a peace, a contentedness in the plaza that Charlie felt she'd be able to taste if she kept her tongue from wagging for a second. "That's a rather powerful river of yours, Vedek Dima, if it was capable of taking away disturbances that have yet to happen." Alas, the tongue wanted to wag. Her eyes followed the movements of the people as they deposited their stones, which were then in turn blessed by more holy people in robes. She'd been surprised by the man's use of her birth name; most people called her Ms. Fox, and usually with disdain in their tones. Well, most people being Fleet. She supposed the Vedek and his ilk were far from being Fleet. "Like what happened this morning, how would you classify that, Vedek Dima?" Was that to be viewed as something other than a disturbance? At this stage she felt like she was just trying to poke someone who could be a bear. [ Vedek Dima Emmari | Ha'mara pavillion ]The Vedek rolled with the provoking half-compliments, a low raspy chuckle deep in his chest. "Even dead, a Cardassian will force himself in," he said. "Making dirty our holiest day. And the Federation with all its tolerance drags them along, making deep furrows behind them." The Vedek's dark gaze unfocused as he apparently looked over the flow of people. He seemed to remember himself and looked back down at Charlie. "And then, by the Prophets, all concern and shock when there's a mess to clean up." Emmari's resentment, as much as he wanted to keep it at bay, was growing. All of the hard work gone into making a safe harbor for their Ha'mara may not, it seemed, survive the good intentions of Starfleet or the selfishness of Cardassians. Charlie Fox

[ Apazi Fellin | Ha'mara pavillion ]Something burdened Fellin and it was more than the smooth white river rock in his hand. He'd watched Leanna and Riyo with Leanna's little one join in the ceremony, but Fellin had yet to come forward. He'd always hated the Unburdenings when he was young, but since the arrival of the Emissary he found the whole thing far more hopeful. It was easy to press on when there was some promise of hope. But today, he was distracted. The Vedek sounded like he was speaking to the dead. He looked down in his hand and ran his thumb over the rounded edge of the stone and considered where his obligations lay. Who was the Bajoran traveller and who was the starving Cardassian?

[ LT Joshua Niles - Grandview Conference Room, Colony Ops Building, LZ-2, Kerelia ]Fifteen prime suspects. Fifteen of them with excellent reasons to hate the victim and want him dead. And the involvement with Starfleet Intelligence, which Niles had a chance to read upon in the intervening hours. There were some folk who reckoned it had been wrong to bring Cardassian scumbags into service rather than let them pay for their sins the hard way. But those motives were painfully obvious. Granted, life was not like a holonovel and sometimes the simplest explanation was accurate, but that seemed entirely too convenient to the Tactical Officer who'd been around so many complicated situations that even simple concepts like 'the sun rises in the east' needed corroboration these days... And now between the Captain and Mora's positions, he was starting to get his mind working. Something needed doing, maybe it would be stupid but... Word of the arriving Caradassian shuttle came down, and the Captain was the first to say just how problematic that could be. And the idea of working to stall him for as long as possible certainly had merit all right. "I think we should throw Miss Henriksen at the Gul. Has to be an officer to meet him, and I'd be really loath to get Lieutenant Th'zaar or Ensign O'Connell involved right now." While he only knew the Ensign by name and briefly meeting her on Caldonia, he knew the Andorian/Orion hybrid was a solid officer who could handle himself. And given they'd both survived The Pit, they both were as tough as they came... but if he was unsure of his own judgement with respect to this investigation, he was fairly certain neither was fully fit for return to full duty yet. And while it would mean surrendering the Captain's executive assistant's superlative skills at data-mining, she was probably the best one to stall the half-Cardassian. "But in the meantime, as Crewman Mora said, the Vedek seems to be really calm about this murder; that doesn't mean he did it, but I think we should talk to him sooner rather than later. And while it is... unworthy, I think that if he indeed had nothing to do with it, involved Bajorans might be loath to let a Vedek take the fall for their crimes, and it might make the actual perpetrator come out of the woodwork." [Capt. Judith Eastman(-Williams), PhD et al. - Grandview Conference Room]Judy was, in all honesty, a bit disappointed to see Mr. Niles volunteer her assistant, as opposed to, say, volunteering himself (or just taking himself out of contention), but she filed it aside as something to discuss later. "Mabel, are you up to it?" she asked. "Anytime," Mabel replied confidently, and then headed out. Judy turned her attention back to those assembled in the room. "Let's work out our search parameters here. I suppose the lowest of low-hanging fruit is to find any times that Murra's credential logged into the system, but he wasn't there."For example, if "Murra" logged in from a conference room, when in fact Murra was confirmed to have been in his office, that would be a fine target.
Tag Kova Sh'qaleq (Ezra), Joshua Niles [NPCs - Lt. j.g. Mabel Henriksen & Gul Guillaume Marie-Étienne François Henri-Pierre Thierry du Toollamé - Colony, LZ-2]As Mabel walked towards the shuttleport, she already saw Gul Du Toollamé and his bodyguards coming up the other way towards the square. "Gul Du Toollamé, Sir," she greeted the man, having interacted with him before and been corrected on the pronunciation of the name (Too-lah-may, not Too-lame). "Mademoiselle Henriksen," the Gul replied, with a fierce, possibly fake, Parisian accent. "We have come to take Dr. Murra's body. There are Cardassian traditions to be respected.""I can't release it, Sir, and the Captain is busy," Mabel said apologetically. "No matter," Du Toollamé dismissed, opting for forgiveness. "Let us meet the suspects.""That's a bad idea, sir," Mabel protested, but it was too late, as the Gul and his three bodyguards strode onto the square, to where the Vedek stood with a human of some kind. He eyed the Bajoran with classic Cardassian condescension, but looked more softly at the human. "Gul Du Toollamé," he introduced himself. "Enchanted to make your acquaintance, Mademoiselle."He reached out to take the human's hand, with intent to kiss it, as a proper gentleman. "One of my countrymen was murdered here."

[Plaza - Kerelia Colony] It didn't take them very long once the line began to move towards the basement and even Ari who naturally showed her curious side with rapid fire questions, followed Riyo's instructions by listening. It wasn't always easy when it came to answering potentially awkward questions or being a parent for that matter but Riyo had handled it well. Lea also appreciated how he didn't leave it all to her, unlike other non mentionable people who used to be in her life. He was the reason why she had a stone in her hand and why she wanted to free herself completely from those memories. She also knew how her taking part meant to Riyo even if he couldn't express it right now, not that he needed to. So as he took his turn, Lea waited allowing the moment and its significance to be absorbed, especially when it was her turn to step forward. Smiling softly at Riyo before she moved into position and placed the stone in the water. The prayer from the monks and the feeling of complete freedom brought about a change in Leanna, knowing that was an experience to be honoured and cherished. When she returned to Riyo, she leaned in and kissed him softly. Now she could focus properly on their future as she noticed Rimi and some of the others who were taking part.

Paawin Riyo - Kerelia Colony - Plaza]As Lea rejoined him with the kids, he returned her soft kiss and wrapped his arm around her waist, standing back to watch the rest of the line filing towards the monks. He was surprised to see how many non-Bajorans were taking part, though as they all seemed to grasp the importance and cultural significance, he saw it as a good thing. After the year they'd had, everyone deserved a chance to release their burdens. His eyes landed on the familiar face of Apazi Fellin, and his brow creased slightly in concern. "I'll be right back," he told Lea quietly, kissing her temple before moving away. Stopping beside the older Bajoran, he offered him an understanding smile. "I suppose we all have burdens we're not quite ready to leave behind yet."

[Plaza - Kerelia Colony] There was a sense of peace and pure spirituality that had descended upon Lea as Riyo returned her kiss, before wrapping his arm around her waist. Never did she expect to feel this way after taking part in the ritual but was glad that she had taken that step as they stood and watched the others. Seeing them join in like she had, seemed to outweigh everything else, especially in that moment, before Riyo told her that he would be right back. " Okay" she replied softly, as he kissed her again and approached Fellin. Now she understood why he had left her and checked on the children whilst she waited for him to return. Although there appeared to be some potential trouble as a small group led by a Cardassian and including Mabel approached the Vedek and Charlie. This didn't look good and for the time being stayed where she was.

[Charlie Fox - Ha'mara Pavillion, LZ-2]While the Vedek watched the others, Charlie watched him. She hadn't quite figured out just how much of his movements, his actions, were intentional, or if indeed everything was completely organic. He had an interesting way with words though; vivid imagery created with just a sentence. She thought maybe that's why she liked listening to him. A younger Charlie would have considered dedicating those kinds of talents to religion as a waste, but this Charlie wasn't sure. His sentiments about the Federation by nature were not amusing, yet Charlie found her lips curling upward. The Feds certainly did have the righteous concern act perfected. "The view of those furrows is different from where they sit, Vedek Dima. They're deeper when you're seeing them from the dirt," she said wryly. She felt a pang of regret that she wasn't just covering their Festival of Lights. A dead Cardassian held no interest for her, but she knew the same would not be said of the FNN's viewership. Several figures approaching caused her to stiffen. A hand found a hip as she eyed the Cardassian, his entourage and one of Eastman's creatures. "Three hours," she muttered to the Vedek as she watched the unlikely crew, "And the scavengers descend to pick at whatever's left." The surprise of the day, it turned out, was not the Cardy hanging from the crane, but rather the Cardy with the French accent. She blinked rapidly, and almost didn't react in time to him grabbing her hand. Thankfully, before he could put those cold, grey lips on her skin, she pulled her hand away, her fingers slipping through his. "Charmed," she responded, jaw clenched and eyes narrowed. This one had definitely spent time with humans at least, probably even time on Earth. He'd managed to pick up the awful human habit of touching strangers. "I'd offer my condolences for the loss, but it seems like you lost this one some time ago."

[ Vedek Dima Emmari | Pavillion with the Gul, Henricksen, and Fox ]Oh, look, a walking personification of how close Federation/Cardassian relations were. Vedek Dima had no reason to know who Gul Du Toollamé was, but the way he walked into the pavilion here on the edges where Dima and Charlie had been talking, it was with all the ease and comfort of the entitled. Dima Emmari indulged in a moment of understanding with Charlie, a tired and tedious sort of sneer as the Gul arrived. The half-Cardassian's entrance was marked by many Bajoran and guests under the awnings, but the Vedek gestured to the two ranjen monks to make every effort to continue as normal. At least until Dima could banish the uninvited. "Lieutenant," the Vedek said firmly, directly addressing Henriksen. "This is a disruption. I was assured by your captain that we would not be interrupted. Now, out. Leave us in peace, Prophets willing." The Vedek swept his long arms wide to direct all in this little party to find their way out of the pavilion. His stature had always been useful for this kind of thing. "Another time, Charlie." {Quoted Posts} [The Sky]In the town square, those near the pavilion would see a Cardassian shuttle flying low overhead, towards the colony's shuttleport. [Capt. Judith Eastman(-Williams), PhD & PO2 Roland L. Jenkins - Grandview Conference Room]Judy clasped her hands behind her back, listening as her subordinates spoke in turn. "In my experience - and that's a lot of experience - the way to understand a crime is to understand the motive behind it," she stated somewhat philosophically, with a crack at her age woven in. "The why of the crime informs the how. In this case, the Vedek is a suspect, as you, Mr. Mora, pointed out, and he also knows many of our other suspects. I think we can start by, as you, Mr. Niles, suggested, combing through our vic's footsteps, while looking for other Bajorans. Then, we can use what we find out about them, to make an indirect run at him and see what gives," she suggested, before Jenkins popped up. "Captain, I'm getting a report from the station. Gul Du Toollame, the Cardassian special envoy for the region, is on final approach to the colony right now," he reported. "Well, that makes things a bit more complicated, doesn't it?" the Captain asked rhetorically. "I need a volunteer to go deal with the Gul. Someone who will try to help him, but just doesn't have the clearance to give him meaningful access."Du Toollame was a hybrid (half-Cardie, half-human of French descent), pro-Federation in his sympathies, and reform-minded. He was also in the worst possible place, at the worst possible time. [Shavan Th’zhaar - Plaza] Shavan glanced up as he sensed Kova’s presence beside him again, and gave an amused grin at her comment about not having enough pebbles, and the mental image of disrupting the ceremony with a whole avalanche of stones. “Oh, I don't know. Maybe a small moon’s worth would do.” He said it with a laugh, but part of him couldn't help thinking of what he could use unburdening from. Of course there was the recent memory of Caldonia, and all the anger and hurt that went along with it. And, deeper, everything from further back, before Starfleet; the troubled past that still haunted him, and the fear that no matter what he did to be better, he would never be able to fully let it go. Which he still hadn’t found the words to share with her, or anyone else here, but was starting to wish that he could. Perhaps it was again one a part of this strange curse that always seemed to pry them apart. "And here I thought the award for a troubled past belonged to me."It wasn't exactly the sort of point one wanted to dwell upon. So, she decided to shift the topic slightly, but found there wasn't much to switch it upon. "Is your counselor still suggesting you... how did the pink-skin put it? "Re-acquaint yourself with yourself." Kova was certain it had to be some first year that had been dumped in the deep end for the sake of having enough warm bodies to deal with each of the members of the Caldonia Five. "I can only imagine the sort of hell, someone like Harmon is giving them."

[Crewman Ezra Mora - Grandview Conference Room] As Ezra stood there, allowing the officers to discuss as they did, it seemed that the arrival of some diplomat seemed to have the potential of being a bit of an obstacle to the success of the investigation. As the pair exchanged words, it seemed as if the assignment of babysitting duty was being tossed around. The writing was clearly on the wall, as far as Ezra was concerned. Being the low man on the totem poll, surely this was the sort of assignment that would wind up in his lap. He had all but assumed it would fall to him until Mr. Niles suggested someone else: Miss Henriksen. She accepted the job without flinching. It didn't surprise Ezra. With all due respect, Mabel was probably better equipped than Ezra for such a responsibility. Ezra's babysitting of officials was limited to sitting down with a beer and talking sports... because who wanted to talk work with a beer in their hand? The discussion then veered back to the investigation as they tried to discern where the faulty login for Murra had occurred. "It should be easy enough to design an algorithm to cross-reference Murra's logins with his actual location," Ezra commented. "But it may also be a good idea to cross-reference those findings with confirmed sightings to make sure something isn't overlooked."

The war was over, why could they not accept that there was now a new Cardassia? Before Mabel could say anything, he said his piece, standing firmly in place. "Monsieur, we are investigating a murder, and we will investigate. As Mademoiselle said, Dr. Murra left Cardassia a long time ago, but he is our countryman, and we will investigate," Gul Du Toollamé asserted, with a heaping spoonful of righteous anger. Mabel looked helplessly between the Vedek, the Gul, and the journalist. "Already, Monsieur, we have been denied the right to his body. We will not be denied access to the scene of the crime.""Rage and pity", as the technical term went, was a foundation of postwar Cardassian diplomacy. The Cardassian Union liked to point to so many slights and setbacks (and the genocide of their people by the Jem'Hadar) and insist that this time, they could not be denied again. "If you will aid us, it will be a rapid investigation.""You don't have to," Mabel pointed out.

[ Kova Sh'qaleq - Plaza, LZ-2, Kerelia] As Shavan made his remark in jest, the Andorian couldn't help but wonder exactly how much of those words had been rooted in truth. Shavan never seemed to be the sort to dwell on his past. Or at least, Kova had never had the opportunity to hear most of it. Perhaps it was again one a part of this strange curse that always seemed to pry them apart. "And here I thought the award for a troubled past belonged to me."It wasn't exactly the sort of point one wanted to dwell upon. "I can only imagine the sort of hell, someone like Harmon is giving them."[ Shavan Th’zhaar - Plaza] “And here I was thinking the same thing,” was all Shavan had to say on the subject of troubled pasts, keeping the tone light. Then he groaned softly at the mention of counseling. “Something like that. Which doesn't even make sense. I can think of far better things to re-acquaint myself with.” He held up the glass of springwine as an example. “I doubt any of us are easy patients.” His amused smile returned as he imagined that Kova herself would have had some choice words for that pink-skin counselor. Generally Shavan had tried to agree and say whatever it was they wanted to hear. But he definitely did not want to go to counseling, and definitely did not want to be fully honest. Which had led to talks of avoidance and repression and… whatever. Maybe it wasn't entirely unhelpful, but he didn't want to really get into it now. Taking another drink, he briefly glanced over at the latest disturbance in the center of the pavilion before turning back to Kova. Kova Sh'qaleq

[Capt. "But it may also be a good idea to cross-reference those findings with confirmed sightings to make sure something isn't overlooked." [ LT Joshua Niles - Grandview Conference Room, Colony Ops Building, LZ-2, Kerelia ]And once more Niles could feel the added weight of the Captain's disapproval bearing down upon him. Today was truly not his day all right, but at this point, he would find himself surprised if he could do a bloody thing she would approve of. And just when he'd taken her advice to not over-explain his notions, too as after all Lieutenant Henriksen was outstanding at managing difficult personalities and keeping them happy enough to avoid a diplomatic incident, while he most certainly was not nearly as skilled at that kind of verbal judo. Which he already had no doubt would come back to haunt him in the none too distant future, and he found himself wishing he'd stayed on the station and done absolutely nothing productive with his day rather than come down for the festival and the attendant tours. But what was done was done and now he was neck-deep in it as he really could not have refused the order to start to investigate, for better or for worse. But, at least, now that data was being pulled from the colony's systems and made available for investigative purposes, there should be fewer roadblock to deal with, and when Mora mentioned cross-referencing any log-ins with Murra's credentials with physical access logs and sightings, Niles' hands started their dance on his terminal's keys. "Good call, Crewman. Go ahead and run down his account activity, I'll pull out everything I can about Murra's movements and then we can cross-reference."He had taken no more investigative training than the absolute bare minimum to graduate, , instead electing to take advanced fire control techniques and traffic analysis; though he certainly did not have the analytical muscle the likes of Commander Harmon or Lieutenant Hudson could flex, this was at least connected to the skills he'd actually had been employed since he had been assigned to the Front Ear area of operations. Though, while the computer was happily crunching away at the data, Niles suddenly went very, very still. "Captain, I could really use a sounding board for my logic here." As he spoke, Niles raised a hand and started extending his fingers as he counted off his points. "One, Murra committed horrible crimes against the Bajorans, and he winds up very publicly hours before a Bajoran festival; two, we have a Vedek with administrative access we can't explain; three, our piece of star evidence, a tricorder enabled with Murra's credentials, fixed to spoof a biometric scanner, with a Bajoran fingerprint on it that was barely hidden at all."As he spoke, his voice gained a degree of confidence. Something was fishy, and he really didn't like it. "I mean, that looks like some really solid motive and connections, but something feels off. I mean, this is a construction site; would be easy to arrange an accident that'd leave no traces at all. Or to cross him off and pour a foundation over him or something and he'd never be found. Why be so public or leave a piece of really incriminating evidence where anyone who'd move a damn cone would find it? Hell, there's a long list of bread crumbs that points directly towards fifteen Bajoran workers and one visiting Vedek, almost as if someone wanted us to find all of it."Things were starting to line up, at least in his mind. "What if someone wanted to point the finger at the Bajorans to cover their own tracks?"

[Eta Borir - Colony Perimeter, Kerelia]
Eta lost the grin from her face as soon as the woman uttered the first sound. "No one can forget that, and I'm not trying to justify what happened. But what else is Cardassia supposed to do? The last Bajoran has been taken out of the labour camps, Bajor has been rebuilt, maybe we should go and bury ourselves? Or move to the Delta Quadrant? Besides, the entire Union is not made up of war criminals" she replied, now looking relatively serious. She did not share the opinion that the occupation had helped Bajor, but had the certain patriotism that went so far as to watch her father's back. Even if he had been dead for a long time. When the woman began to speak, Eta squatted on the sand. "What's your name, by the way?" she asked, when it struck her that she didn't even know the woman's name, and was debating with her directly about the occupation. "And if possible I would like to discuss a different topic than the occupation. I already explained it to a boy today and because of the Vedek, I am not really able to discuss this event objectively."
[Ens. Syl O'Connell - Kerelia - LZ-2 Shoreline]Syl nodded as she listened, understanding the woman's point of view. And to an extent, she was right. The past couldn't be changed, and there had been peace between the governments for some time. But the Occupation had played such a major role in Bajoran history, and a majority of the population were old enough to remember it with ease. It would be a long time before it could truly be left in the past. "I can respect that," she answered simply as the woman pointed out there wasn't much else the Cardassians could do as far as reparations were concerned. "Sometimes... People just need to be left alone for awhile. Figure out who they are outside of their trauma." It was something Dr. Foust had told her before she'd left for Front Ear. The longer she went without seeing reminders of him everywhere she turned, the sooner she would be able to start healing. While her new counselor hadn't said anything to that effect - yet - she knew the same applied to recovering from her stint as a slave. Yes, it had been ten years since the Occupation... but how long had the Bajorans been able to go without having to deal with the Cardassians in some way? She looked a little startled when the woman asked for her name, as she had gotten used to everyone recognizing her as one of the 'Caldonia Five'. Since she hadn't been known before then, everyone knew which one she was simply because she wasn't any of the other four. "Syl," she replied with a small smile. "And you?" Sitting down on the sand, she shrugged nonchalantly when asked to talk about something else. "By all means." She wasn't determined to continue talking about the Occupation, but she also didn't know what else to talk about, so instead she decided to let the Cardassian pick the next topic. Laying back, she closed her eyes as the sun washed over face, smiling slightly at the gentle warmth rather than the oppressive heat she had gotten so used to. In this position, the scars on her eyebrow, lip and circling her neck were clearly visible, illuminated by the sun's rays, but she clearly didn't care.

[Eta Borir - Colony Perimeter, Kerelia] The corners of Eta's mouth lifted a little again. The woman was probably right, but 10 years? Not even a snail takes that long. "I'm Eta," she replied, looking at Syl for the moment before lying down beside her.
What followed was silence. The Cardassian had no problem enduring the silence, but then decided to steer the conversation in some direction, if her interlocutor wanted to talk at all. Or she just wanted to lie there. "So, what have you been up to lately"

"Another time, Charlie." [NPCs - Lt. j.g. Mabel Henriksen & Gul Guillaume Marie-Étienne François Henri-Pierre Thierry du Toollamé - Colony, LZ-2]One affront after another, first from the human and then from the Bajoran. [Charlie Fox - Ha'mara Pavillion, LZ-2]When it became clear she was being herded out of the Pavilion, she automatically began to move. "Sure," she responded, a shrug of a shoulder as she stepped further away from the procession. It wasn't a surprise, really, but she felt a brief disappointment as the opportunity to get something quotable was taken away from her by the arrival of the entitled Cardassian. That he seemed to completely ignore the fact he was interrupting a ceremony was not lost on her, though perhaps it was more true to say that he hadn't even noticed. It was equally as likely that he would not care. It wasn't often that Charlie was the most obedient of any group, but she appeared to be the only one moving. She paused mid-step, then turned to look at the Gul as he remained to argue. "Firstly, this is a Federation colony, and Starfleet will investigate." Charlie glanced at Mabel, wondering if something had her tongue. The young woman was 100% an Eastman pod person, but that didn't mean that Charlie couldn't feel some sympathy toward her. It wasn't her fault she'd been landed with this horrible Francophile. "Secondly, ordering these people around is not gonna end well for you, Du Too-Lame. And lastly, this is not the scene of the crime. The scene of the crime is over there somewhere." Charlie waved in the general direction of the crane. "I'm sure Lt. -" Crap, what is her last name!? "Henriksen, can show you." Unlike the Cardy, Charlie hadn't wanted to murder Mabel's name. Charlie raised her arm in a fist and began to move off just as the summoned Olsen caught up with her.

"What if someone wanted to point the finger at the Bajorans to cover their own tracks?" [Capt. Judith Eastman(-Williams), PhD & PO2 Roland L. Jenkins - Grandview Conference Room]Judy helped herself to a delectable tulaberry muffin (after Anna refused to play board games with Michael, Max had entertained the boy by baking too many pastries) as Joshua Niles spoke at length. He was applying his intellect, which was nice to see. "It's possible that there's something deeper going on here, but it's just as possible there isn't; a bereaved victim of a war crime may not have the skills to be a star criminal. As an engineer, I can tell you that there's no such thing as red herrings, and no such thing as Occam's Razor, either. It's good to apply a critical eye like you are, but at the end of the day, you follow the evidence thoroughly, and you see where it goes. That's all we can do."Such was life. Sometimes things were not as they appeared, and other times, they were exactly as they appeared. "Mr. Mora, let us know what you've got."Jenkins took a muffin himself. "They're good," he announced. "The grandson would've preferred fudge," Judy quipped.
