[Courtroom] Hunt nodded as it appeared that Candy was ok. She did not appeared to be overly psychologically distressed of the situation. As she mentioned the comment that is not the first not the last time she had gentlemen slobber all over her. Hunt slightly blushed as his mind went picturing her making out. He merely nodded in response and focused on something else. As the person was dematerialized saying that he was dying. Hunt remained patient with a smile. It was normal for people to be scared of their injuries and if he had more time, he would have explained more what was going on. The objective was not to abandon the civilians that needed her and to extend to them every courtesy as possible. As they mentioned about the comment of Candy and the person, Hunt shrugged his shoulders and merely responded “ People react differently when they are either scared or hurt. If I had access to his medical records, I would have given him a sedative to help with the pain. To check for allergic reactions but I figured Sickbay would figure it out quicker than myself. ” Hunt said. As it was important not to judge them too hard without talking to them more. [Turbolift] As the question was asked Hunt merely shrugged. He honestly did not know. “Maybe donate the room or switch it to someone more in need. I have all the space that I want.” Hunt said as it was true his quarters was just a place to rest and sleep as he did not have much luxuries or items in there. He does not have a family or people to host. So the man decided to keep it simple with books a bed and replicator. [Observation Deck] The team arrived in the observation room as he looked that they had an area that they were supposed to seat. Hunt merely sat down on his area and looked at the rest of the team. “ Well, it appears that now we wait” Tags Eliska Bremmer Shavan Th'zhaar Felicity Ellis

[Valkyries - Turbolift and Beyond] " Excellent, we might as we'll celebrate/commiserate in style" Lea replied as Syl agreed to her offer of drinks once this was done. Between their encounter with the Bajorans and now trying to find the next clue, Lea wasn't so delusional to think that they could still win this thing. In fact she would be happy to settle with just completing the exercise and deal with any disappointment later. Then again there was more to this than winning and at least she could hold her up high and say that she had gotten to know her teammates. When the lift finally came to a stop, Lea had no concept of how long it had taken, but once outside, realised that this was another part of the station that she was seeing for the first time. Lea had certainly been given an education in learning more about Front Ear itself, before Syl pointed out Combat Suit Storage as she had left the lift and led the way towards the armoury. If Lea could facepalm right now she would, instead she settled for relief and a little silent thanks to Syl who had noticed it. " That's okay, at least we've found the right destination" she said softly as Syl suggested that they get started. " Good idea".Not wanting to waste anymore precious time, Lea began to search the next locker as a now silent Eta helped Syl, leaving nothing unturned as she picked up a boot and looked inside.

{Quoted Posts} [Turbolift] It wasn’t like he was dreading being in an enclosed space with either of them again. That would be absurd. He was in mortal peril of it. After the scene on the dance floor— which, if anyone asked, he was going to attribute to the influence of his teammates’ own spirit of participating in the competition, with compliance of effect being, as a Betazoid with his condition, often difficult to resist, thank you very much— Ic was embarrassed to even exist anymore, least of all nearby, where he could feel them most intensely. He felt so intensely, whether he wanted to or not. He was fortunate, for once, that intensity of his own feelings seemed to scramble anything he was getting off the other two. In fact, it scrambled even his understanding of his own silly emotions (for his foolishness, and a new shade of teal), until it all felt like a planetside summertime, meaningless, warm, fleeting. Enough to change your life before you knew it. Since we all agree.Quiet as he always was when he felt shamed for his uncertainties, Ic watched for the seam of the turbolift doors to open. He frowned just slightly at Kova’s musing, stepping into the lift as soon as he could. He squished himself flatly against the wall, avoiding both sets of eyes. “The definition of transport is moving from site to s— ohhhh, you mean chea—?” He gasped. “Kova. It’s two decks. I’m not cheating for two decks. Besides, arranging something, having to explain, being judged by the transport chief? After this morning, I probably wouldn’t even rematerialize.”The way his heart was still fluttering, he might not even survive a sprint to the Observation Lounge, but for them, it was a risk he’d take. [Felicity Ellis - Observation Lounge, Deck 11]
The dining chairs and tables had been rearranged; repositioned to fill the corners of the room and leave the space in the middle free. Three areas were outlined, and above each circle was a slowly rotating holoprojection of the teams' names and faces. Viewscreens were playing various scenes of success and challenge, and the XO watched them all with interest. There had been surprises, disappointments, triumphs, early leads and late falls. Felicity had been glued to it all morning, and she'd been receiving regular communications from her "helpers" in the field. There'd been issues, of course, she'd expected that. There'd be consequences. Yet, overall, they'd managed to stick together, and that had been the main goal of the exercise. She turned away from the viewscreen and toward the door, awaiting the teams. Once inside, they would be expected to move to their designated areas, place their recovered objects on the small podiums before them, and wait for the verdict. [ Shavan Th’zhaar - Turbolift -> Observation Lounge] “What do you think we're doing?” Shavan scoffed and followed close behind Kova as they went back to the turbolift. When she asked about using site to site transport, he shrugged casually, in a way that said he did not intend to be ‘in trouble’ for it, but would not stop her from initiating it. However, it was Ic who answered first, with an emphatic response that Shavan didn’t fully know what to make of. “Alright, we won’t.” Maybe he also didn't have much regard for the concept of cheating, since he didn't see how being resourceful in trying to win was a bad thing. Using the transporters had not been explicitly forbidden by the rules of the competition. It was simply a bad idea in general. However, they were already in the turbolift, and as Ic pointed out, didn't have far to go. It wouldn’t be worth it now. “We wouldn’t want you to not rematerialize. Though I don't see how that would be cheating, exactly.” he continued with a slight amused smirk. When the lift deposited them on Deck 11, he quickly led the way to the Observation Lounge, and the scene that awaited them. [ Kova Sh'qaleq - Turbolift --> Observation Lounge] There was a mixture of annoyance and surprise when Ic protested so vocally. It hadn't been that long ago that he had been trying to meld with the background and avoid attention, especially that of Shavan's which he clearly craved. Though he seemed quite insistent on not using the transporter system out of fear of not rematerializing at some point in the future because of some grudge with the transporter chief. Kova rolled her eyes. He clearly didn't have his priorities straight... or his potential threats. "Fine, but if we lose," Kova began. She then stepped into the turbolift and turned to face front. A thin smile was upon her face. "You're right. The grudge of the transporter chief will be the least of your worries." Her eyes then tilted upwards as many humans typically did (for some reason) when they entered a lift car. "Observation Lounge, Deck 11."It didn't take long before they made it to Deck 11. The team moved quickly back to where their little scavenger hunt had begun. Though upon entering the lounge, things certainly weren't as they had been left. There were indications of where the individual teams were supposed to be as holoprojections of their faces and team designations hovered. There was also a viewscreen displaying the moments from their excursions. It didn't surprise Kova that they had been watched the entire time. She began to move towards their designated area, though she could sense the movements of others in the room as more of the teams began to arrive. Kova placed the small latinum paperweight upon the small podium. All that was left at this point was to see what came next.

{Valkyrie Quotes} [Ens. Syl O'Connell - Front Ear - Turbolift]"No arguments here," Syl replied with a grin when Leanna offered to unwind at the Blue Beta later. This was certainly not how she had been expecting this day to go, and a drink was sounding better and better. It was a long ride down to the lowest deck, but finally the doors parted to reveal their destination. The pilot stepped out of the lift and turned towards the armory, but the sign on the door next to it caught her attention. "Combat suit storage!" She pointed it out to the others, suddenly feeling foolish for not realizing the armor would be separate from the weapons. At least they were right next to each other. "Goes to show how often I've been down here..." Which was never. Entering the storage unit, she stared down the rows of lockers, suddenly realizing just how daunting this task could be. "Guess we better get started." Opening the first locker, she glanced over the suit inside, before picking up each boot and searching them as she had the ones with the EV suits.

Eta raised the right corner of her mouth while lowering the other, which brought a wry smile to her lips. They really deserved a drink, no matter how this would turn out today. Still, she refrained from commenting and just winked. She didn't speak further on the way there. There wasn't really anything more to say, and Eta's small talk wasn't good, but still better than her twisted sense of humor. In the armory, Eta helped Syl sort through boots and suits. She had absolutely no idea about insects in shoes or other human myths, but she still remembered some military action or other.

It bounced again, and then stopped, lying on its back. The figurine was small, made of some safe, soft material as was suitable for children's play, and was dressed in a Starfleet uniform. Attached to a hand extended in greeting, was a note.

[Ens. Syl O'Connell - Front Ear - Combat Suit Storage]Hearing a soft thud off to the side, Syl looked over to see the figurine that fell on the floor by Leanna. A wave of relief and gratitude washed through her that they didn't have to search very long. The Betazoid woman picked it up, and Syl stepped over to see it better. "Hey, that's kinda cute..." she commented with a small grin. Tilting her head slightly to better read the clue, another wave of relief washed through her. "Looks like we're heading back to the Observation Lounge." Not wanting to anger anyone in the security department, she quickly readjusted the suits and put the boots back how she found them before closing the lockers once more.

[Felicity Ellis - Observation Lounge, A.K.A. The Winner's Circle]Felicity was surprised to see multiple teams file in with similar run times. She was sitting on a table near the back of the Lounge, legs dangling as she waited. Once the first few contestants arrived she slid off and approached. Her eyes roved over each of them as they entered, but she said nothing until they'd all placed their objects on the provided podiums. Then she squared her shoulders and stepped forward. "Welcome back. And overall, well done. I've had reports and there were elements that I got to witness for myself up here via feeds, and I can say that most of you did very well, in fact, you all seemed to work very well together."Her eyes lingered for a moment on Team A, affectionately dubbed The A Team by some spectators. "However, there were some issues that will need to be addressed."Her gaze shifted to the middle circle that contained Kova, Shavan and Ic. She stepped toward them, her hands moving behind her back and clasping. "Despite the interference to your team, you reacted with restraint and professionalism. I was sorry to hear about what transpired in the park; please know that it wasn't part of the plan. How you handled that, and having had zero infractions or points against your performance, you are our clear winners of the day." Finally, her mouth quirked upward and the serious mood passed as she allowed herself the smile that had been dying to get out. "Congratulations. Consider your requests approved."With a nod toward Lt. Th'zhaar she stepped back again, effectively dismissing herself. Then she moved closer to the circle containing Jurgha, Hunt, Candy and Eliska. She wasted no time getting to the heart of the matter. "There are consolation prizes available, but I'm unsure as to whether or not your team qualifies. I've received reports of difficulties during the Courtroom task, and I was very disappointed to learn the details. You four have five minutes to work this out and come up with a solution between you."No other words were needed, and so she moved off again, returned to her table and waited to deal with the aptly named Valkyries.

[Valkyries - Down Below] Concentrating on the task at hand so as not to dwell on what awaited them once this exercise was over. Leanna shook the boot that she was holding, silently praying to the prophets in the hope that their luck would continue. Thanking them in equal silence when something dropped out and lightly bounced on the floor a couple of times. Relief then washed through the Betazoid when she moved to pick it up and upon realising what it was, smiled at the renewed sense of hope this had given her. The figure clad in a starfleet uniform represented so much and not just for the clue that was attached in note form in it's hand. Reminding Lea of how much the team had endured through this task from the good to the not so good. It wasn't long before Syl had joined her and Lea had to agree with her comment about it being cute, feeling the other woman's relief as they both read the clue. " It is cute and I agree, whatever happens when we get there, I'm proud to have been part of the Valkyries" Lea replied, keeping a tight hold on the figure as she helped Syl to tidy up. This had definitely given Lea a much needed boost as she then led the way back to the turbolift. Calling for their destination as soon as everyone was inside, Lea then looked at the figure again and prepared herself for their arrival. [Observation Lounge - Deck 11] This was it, the moment of truth as the lift reached it's destination. What lay beyond those doors would determine their fate and whether they would have to put on smiles or just collapse in sheer relief that they had made it back. Whatever the outcome, Lea was going to face it with her team and not as an individual. Turning to the others as the doors opened, Lea spoke with pride as if they weren't going into this as possible and potentially third place. " Let's go Valkyries" she said as she stepped forward, head held up high as she waited for Syl and Eta so they could arrive as one, before entering the unknown certainty of their fate.

[ Jurgha, daughter of Khar - Observation Lounge] They had lost? To… who even were they? The members of ‘Team B’ did not look all that impressive to her. Jurgha turned to glare at her own teammates. She had worked with them, and could find no fault with her own performance in the Courtroom. Which only meant… “You petaQ!” She stepped forward to snarl at Hunt. The only ‘solution’ she could see to this was her fist meeting his face… but just managed to restrain herself, given where they were. “Apparently you have five minutes to fix this.” Though if it was all but over anyway, she didn’t know what else they had to talk about. [Observation Lounge] He’d recoiled into silence again at the discordant tones of their reactions (but mostly the threat), instinctively, to keep the peace. Even though a part of him felt the need to defend his culturally-ingrained integrity, Ic’s personal experience and need to fit in despite his nature had always supplanted that narrative. He had learned at the Academy that it was more important to be agreeable than it was to be right. And anyway, (Still, these games always had a rule like you must remain on the station in order to win, and becoming a data pattern in the aether didn’t seem like remaining on the station to him. So, alright, maybe not cheating, but he would have felt dishonest to do it, and his conscience was a vicious thing.) The moment Ic stepped into the Observation Lounge, however, it no longer mattered what a site to site transport was. One could have informed him it was an overripe purple pineapple and he couldn’t have disagreed; he was faced all too jauntily with video evidence of— oh no. Queasily, he left the plant statuette in the indicated spot, a little sad to let it go, and took his seat with the others on his team. Wait, were they supposed to have had a team name— ? When Commander Ellis began to address the group, despite their complement being incomplete, Ic sank ever so slightly down in his seat, dreading a call-out for his actions. One that never came. Instead, she apologized for something out of her control… and congratulated them for everything that had transpired within theirs. He didn’t believe it until she smiled. Even then. Still, this did not stop him beaming. Ic Arbrell had reached the other side of this task not only alive, but victorious. It was the first time he’d won anything that didn’t have to do with test scores. But he knew full well he would never ever have been able to do it without Shavan and Kova. He hoped that they could, indeed, sense his gratitude for all their encouragement and help, no matter how sharp that double-edged sword had been. He was so proud of them.He would find his ways of properly thanking and congratulating them both another time, something recurred upon his mind when a scene of green leaves caught his attention on the viewscreen. “So,” he said quietly, allowing himself a shy, pink smile and a bold effort to achieve eye contact with Shavan. “It’s ‘later’ now.”

[ Shavan Th’zhaar - Observation Lounge] After placing the last object on the podium, Shavan responded to Commander Ellis with a simple ‘thank you’ and returned the nod. Then he turned back to Kova and Ic with a slight smile. They had won, after all… not that there had been much doubt about it. His smile widened as he met Ic’s gaze, and the Betazoid pointed out that it was ‘later.’ “So it is.” It seemed that the only question now was what to do about it. [Ens. Syl O'Connell - Front Ear - Combat Suit Storage]Syl didn't return Leanna's sentiment as they made their way back to the Observation Lounge. The entire thing seemed like a waste of time in her opinion. She and Eta had gotten to know each other better hanging out on Kerelia's beach than they had during this scavenger hunt... And Leanna seemed like the type of person who got along with everyone she met. It put a civilian at unnecessary risk by attracting the attention of the Bajorans at a time they were unable to handle it appropriately. And even if they did somehow win... She had no idea what sort of living upgrades she even wanted. But she supposed it could have been worse, so instead of rejecting the sentiment she gave a small smile before they entered the lounge, expectedly the last to arrive. Judging by the expressions on those already gathered... Kova, Shavan and the other Ensign she hadn't met yet won. "Congratulations," she told them as she passed. "Times two," she added to Shavan. The meeting had started so quickly earlier she hadn't had the chance to congratulate him on the well-deserved promotion. Reaching their table, she pulled the "get out of jail free" card and the model of the Erudite out of her belt pouch and set them on the surface. Now it was time to face the verdict, and she turned to Commander Ellis, standing at ease with her hands folded behind her back.

Of course, the last task and the passes they had been given provided an obvious option. “See you at Delirium tonight?” [ Kova Sh'qaleq - Observation Lounge] It did not take long before Commander Ellis began with appraising their efforts for the morning. As humans typically did, she saw the need to praise everyone for their efforts, and she did confirm that they had been watched during these exercises. Kova simply stood, her arms crossed in front of her chest as she listened. Commander Ellis addressed the first group, the one containing Candy Barr. She pointed out that they had had some issues that needed to be addressed. The Andorian was a little disappointed when the newly appointed XO moved on. She was now curious what those issues had been, and whom had been responsible for them. Had it been Candy? And if it had, why ahd Jurgha not slain her where she stood? Either way, that meant victory was between Kova's team and Syl's team, containing Leanna and the Cardassian, Eta. Commander Ellis then moved on to Kova's team. She stood there alongside Shavan and Ic awaiting her final judgement. Though, perhaps she was addressing them because they had fallen short as well. She made reference to the interference that they had experienced. It didn't take long for Kova to conclude that Xoteak's appearance had not been planned. Still, their restraint had been applauded. Kova took a deep breath. It appears to have been wise not to maim the Caldonian where he stood. Yet, more than that, they were the clear winners of this competition. The Andorian clinched her fist tightly in victory. She hadn't been excited about upgrading her quarters before, yet... having actually won the competition, all sorts of ideas were coming to mind. Though... just how willing would Starfleet be to keep their word when she made her actual request for a few more amenities. As typical, Klingons seemed to do nothing quietly. Kova's attention briefly turned towards the collection of Team A, as it seemed that Jurgha was upset with that male Starfleet doctor. Considering Kova's good mood, she almost hoped the Doctor would not have to be resuscitated after the next five minutes. Kova then heard Ic speak aloud, mentioning that it was later. Clearly, the comment had been directed at Shavan. Kova rolled her eyes. "Perhaps you've got a little blue blood coursing through those veins after all," Kova said shortly after Shavan said that he'd see Ic tonight at Delirium. Upon hearing the congratulations, Kova nodded appreciatively at Syl. She thought briefly of inviting the woman to her new quarters once they were ready, but couldn't think of a reason why. Drinks? That could be done in a bar. Certainly not small talk. As far as Kova was concerned that had to be done in a bar... preferably after many non-synthetic drinks. Though, in her new quarters she would have adequate space to continue to work with Syl on Vershaan[fn]Andorian martial arts (unarmed)[/fn].

[Felicity Ellis - Observation Lounge, Deck 11]Felicity could hear Jurgha, but she did not look their way. She hoped that did not herald them all turning on Hunt; though it was his fault, that hadn't been the idea behind the exercise. She was thankfully distracted by the entrance of the Valkyries, and she happily turned her attention to the three ladies as they entered and placed their objects on their podium. She approached, her expression neutral. Her gaze did linger for a little longer on Eta, however, as though searching for signs of upset. "Welcome back, Valkyries." She'd awarded them an extra point for coming up with their own name; as the only team to do it they deserved a bonus in her view. "I'm told there was an altercation of sorts on the Flight Deck, and that you were set upon by two residents of this Station." The blankness left her face, as her brows furrowed and she looked with some concern at the three of them. "You are to be commended for dealing with it in the calm, rational way that you did. That must have been an unnerving experience, to say the least, and I'd like you all to know that it's being treated as a serious matter. However," Felicity broke for a tiny moment, and fought the urge to sigh, "I have no idea just how serious it might be, because none of you remained to give Security a report after calling them."
"Your commitment to the exercise is appreciated, but giving your reports to the Security team who responded to your call for help should have taken precedence. They need tangible reasons to put eyes on those two Bajorans, they need a documented precedent so they can respond with appropriate force should they pay any of you another visit, and they need your personal accounts of the conversation. Minimum."She pulled out a PADD and glanced at the screen, giving them the opportunity to respond while mentally she worked out how many "consolations" she could dole out. If she could, she'd give something to everyone, merely for making it back without having murdered each other, but there had been one or two hiccups that needed to be straightened out. "Apart from that, you performed very well as a team. You stayed together, protected each other when necessary and you finished despite the trouble you encountered. Once all three of you file those reports with Security, I'd like you each to file a request for one additional fixture in your current accommodations. Sound fair?"
Tags: Syl O'Connell , Enola and Leanna Mazal *** [Hot Candy - Observation Lounge]Candy gave Team B, her first tribe, a big smile and a wave. Knowing that she'd won, she could afford to be magnanimous with the runners up. However, as the Chatty Cathy commander droned on and on, it did eventually become clear that there was a problem. A big problem. Team B had won. But... what did that mean for her them? When the debacle in the Courtroom was brought up it took everything Candy had, and all of the etiquette training her mother had smacked into her, not to turn around and kick Johnny in the nuts. Just because it was unladylike, didn't mean Candy couldn't want to do it. But while all of the others had turned their ire upon the good doctor, Candy was listening to what the last team was being told. She ignored all of the irrelevant stuff, like the thing with the Bajorans, and protecting each other, teamwork blah blah blah, all about as useful as a fart in a jar, and from the midst of all that unnecessary information, she plucked what she needed. She sidled back to her team and raised her hand. "The consolations are approved requests for new fixtures," she said to the others, keeping her voice quiet. "One each." She'd fight for that. It was better than leaving with nothing. "I wanna kill him too," she continued, nodding pointedly at Hunt, "But this whole thing has been about teamwork, right? I'm reckoning that ganging up on a teammate will get us a fail. So, Johnny, what have you got?"They could always kill him afterward.

[Valkyries - Observation Lounge] There was a hint of bitterness from Syl as the Valkyries, however what exactly had caused it, Lea wasn't sure as they entered the lounge. It was no surprise to discover that they were the last to arrive and yet there was no feeling of disappointment, only relief as she looked around. The room layout had changed and Lea took in every new detail as Syl congratulated the winning team. The Betazoid was happy for Ic and the others, yet held off on congratulating them for the moment as she followed Syl in placing their gathered items onto the table that had had been designated to them. The figure of the starfleet officer suddenly seemed so small and as Flick approached and welcomed them. There was her usual smile but inside she felt.. felt as if she hadn't deserved to be praised as Flick spoke to them. The incident with the Bajorans had shaken her and reawakened old fears and Flick was right they should of stayed and spoken to Security instead of returning to the game. There was no excuse really and that drink sounded more and more appealing about now. Whilst it was reassuring to know it had been taken seriously it still didn't excuse a momentary lapse of judgement. Although they were being given the chance to rectify by giving their account to Security. " You're right it should of taken precedence and I can only apology for that lapse in judgement, but I'm happy to rectify that by speaking to Security" [/color] Lea replied, before Flick continued and began to feel a little better about the situation. Lea was still proud of what they had accomplished and what Flick said about making reports and being awarded an additional fixture sounded very fair. " Yes that does sound fair and thank you" Lea said then addressed the room. " Drinks are on me, in the Blue Beta".

“ Well, it appears that now we wait” [Felicity Ellis - Observation Lounge, A.K.A. [Felicity Ellis - Observation Lounge, Deck 11]Felicity could hear Jurgha, but she did not look their way. She hoped that did not herald them all turning on Hunt; though it was his fault, that hadn't been the idea behind the exercise. [ Cwm Eliska Bremmer - Observation Lounge, Deck 11, Front Ear Station ]They had made it back, pleasantly quickly for that matter as Eliska was starting to find the good doctor, well, grating. If anything, he was truly starting to come across as eminently świętoszkowaty[fn]Sanctimonious, in Polish[/fn] and that had already almost gotten them disqualified in the courtroom, but now he had to say he wasn't even going to use his own prize? Truly? But, at least, they had gotten to the right location, not that 'full circle' was a particularly challenging clue all right. However, before long it would seem that the courtroom challenge, even though they'd passed by the skin of their teeth in spite of Hunt's sabotage, was coming back to haunt them. But then again, someone who thought an appropriate way to distract a crime boss was to shtup her was bound to have questionable judgement. But to make the exact same mistake twice in a matter of minutes? That was impressive... even for an officer! And now they had a few minutes to sort themselves out if they wanted to get anything out of this particular adventure. Though, as they started their conference, the next team arrived, the one with Syl, and their particular conversation with the Commander reached Eliska's ears. They had been accosted and nigh on got into a fight? That got the Security Crewman's hackles to rise some. She knew enough about Syl's misadventures to know that the Ensign was one who wouldn't have responded well to a violent situation... However, she returned to the matter at hand. Jurgha was not pleased one bit, and while Eliska did not speak a word of Klingon, translation was not required to get the gist of that particular... expectoration. And Candy Barr, who had been all over the doctor before, was a picture of quietly vibrating rage. And she had a point all right. Ganging up on the weak link could cost them, but there was no doubt possible that it had been him who'd sunk them. "Look Doc, they're right. You pretty well screwed us in the courtroom. Twice. I don't know what they teach you officer types, but us enlisted we learn real quick that a single individual goofing off costs everyone. I got no idea what the Commander's expecting, but that's on you to make it right, and we're on the clock."And, just to add a layer of distraction, there was an open invitation for drinks at the Beta being issued. Well, those would go down nice, and given neither of them had won there would be some negotiation coming up with Syl in the near future... but hopefully Hunt could stay on task long enough for that to get sorted out!
