[SCPO Jovireh Velal - Front Ear - Promenade]Jov ignored the criticism that followed her, tuning out the Andorian protests as she focused on the not-couple. When the woman kicked the man that was still on the ground, she lunged forward to brace her arm around the woman's midsection and push her back. "That goes for you too. Go have a seat." That was when Kova made it clear she wouldn't be ignored. Feeling the pokes on the back of her shoulder, Jovireh spun around, reaching to try and catch the Andorian wrist to shove her roughly away. "I am doing my job!" she spat venomously. "Maybe if you'd actually finished the Academy you'd know the difference between assault and defense!"Wow. When was the last time she had been that blatantly rude? Perhaps the stress of her new position was wearing on her more than she'd realized. But no... It wasn't just her. Panicked voices started to sound from her com badge, pleading for back up. She turned towards the entrance of the bar, her gaze sweeping across the visible parts of the Promenade, noticing for the first time the clusters of fights that had broken out everywhere. For a moment she just stared in shock, but that wore off quickly and she tapped her badge. =A="Velal to Security - All available hands to the Promenade!"=A=Tag Kova Sh'qaleq Felicity Ellis

[ Kova Sh'qaleq - Promenade, Front Ear Station ] Kova scoffed dismissing Jovireh's comment about her being a romantic. Clearly, the woman didn't know what she was talking about, and had learned very little about the Andorian in their earlier encounters. Luckily, the safety of the station did not lie solely upon her skills of observation. Yet, it seemed that she seemed intent upon intervening in the assault of wounded suitor. At least she could do something right. Kova rose to her feet and followed her into the Blue Beta Bar. Though, she was astounded by the words that left Velal's mouth as she seemed to think the suitor was some sort of aggressor. "What the hell are you doing?" Kova asked incredulously. "Can't you see she's the one assaulting him?! " As if Jovireh's ineptness as a security officer wasn't annoying enough, Kova could hear that cackling Vulcan at the bar. What was wrong with these people? Even while the suitor was devout in unyielding love, littering her feet with kisses, they acted as if he were something less. And the madness didn't seem to be isolated to those in the bar. While peering around to see if anyone else had some semblance of integrity, she could see the chaos beginning to brew outside the bar as well. An aimless melee... except for one person. Her eyes briefly fell upon the Talorian known as L'Sho. His chest bared for all to see. His movements deft and graceful like a dance. It was almost as if he were some sort of noble warrior, racing to rescue damsel. The only thing he needed was some to be mounted upon some white, furry steed and racing through the snow-covered mountains of Andoria. Though, those may not have been the only images of mounting that rushed the the Andorian's head. She shook her head, attempting to refocus on the matter at hand. She rounded upon Jovireh once more and began to poke the back of the woman's shoulder with single finger as she accentuated each word. "Do... your... job... green-blood! "[SCPO Jovireh Velal - Front Ear - Promenade]Jov ignored the criticism that followed her, tuning out the Andorian protests as she focused on the not-couple. [Blue Beta, Promenade]"You go have a seat!" Karina shrieked when the Officer was suddenly physically preventing her from getting at Ken. Then she tried to take advantage of the woman's momentary distraction and attempted to duck around and beneath her arm. "You're going to get it, you cretin!" She yelled at the man who was still trying to grab at her shins. "Give it to me, baby!"
[ Lt.JG Rin Zakir - Ops Centre, Front Ear Station] Zak felt himself flush a little as not only did the the commander respond to his not so appropriate remark, but had she just winked at him? He must be going up in the world, and he had to admit that she was kind of...wait, what was he thinking? He shook his head as the discussion between Ellis and the intruder continued. "That was rude! I personally think the commander's hair is lovely, and that ass..." Prophets, Prophets Prophets, what had he just said? He once again flushed and allowed his head to connect quite harshly with the console in front of him. What was wrong with him? Everyone else too, come to think of it, and although he did not see Ellis scan her coffee, he couldn't help but here what happened next. So Ev'ewa had a thing for Dimmadome, who knew? He lifted his head to look on in bemusement at the impromptu make out session, until, that is, he was ordered to lock down Ops. Something in the air? That made sense, but it wasn't just in here. "Acknowledged, locking us down", he answered urgently, hands dancing quickly across the console in front of him. "Done, but I don't think it's just in here. I'm getting reports of fights and...other activities from across the station! I would recommend we keep anyone else from coming aboard until we find the source", he suggested, suddenly remembering how to be professional. That didn't last though, as his eyes once again feel to the couple on the floor. "Want me to fetch the fire extinguisher?", he then asked with a mischievous smirk. Just watching was also an option, but maybe, just maybe, he should also be working on the cause of this sudden loss of inhibition. [NPC - Sir Dugris "Doug" Zaman MBE, FRS, PhD, JD, MBA, PE, RA, CPA - Ops]Sir Doug was even more inarticulate than usual, but on the bright side, so was everyone else. "I agree about that..." Sir Doug started, barely cutting himself off before he made an awfully inappropriate comment about Felicity's body. It wouldn't do for a gentleman like himself, not after his earlier transgression. "Nevermind."Then, he took a moment to actually use his brain. What could this be that was affecting them all? Maybe it was a collective dream - a simple test of pinching himself ruled that out. That left two options. "Either this is an aerosol, or it's telepathic meddling!" he announced. "Take these masks, just in case."Sir Doug happened to have very old face masks in his pocket, individually wrapped in old, polluting plastic bags. They were from a period in Earth's oh-so-distant past, as indicated by the printed pattern on them. {Spoiler}{Click for Sir Doug's ancient masks.} He threw these to the crew. "Be a shame to cover your cute little face, but it's what we gotta do," he said not to Felicity, but to the twink at the tactical station. What was up with this thing? Sir Doug hadn't sampled from that side of the aisle in quite some time! Not that there was anything wrong with that. [Felicity Ellis - Ops Centre]"Oh, thanks!" She responded brightly to Rin's compliment, twisting at the waist to get a look at her behind. "I've been doing squats." Felicity patted her own ass with some affection, and then stopped suddenly and looked up at the others, realisation returning to her expression. "This is bad."She nodded in response to Rin's suggestion. "Do what you can, Rin. Lieutenant Dimm-" She broke off from finishing the order when the man's uniform jacket smacked her in the face. "Nevermind," she muttered, then turned and flung the item of clothing back at the very excited pair on the Ops Centre floor. "I'll do it myself."As she began issuing orders and sending messages from a free console, she took one of the masks Sir Doug was offering and put it on without question. =/\= "Computer, record automated docking request response: All approaching vessels, this is Commander Ellis of Front Ear Station. We are all currently acting very strangely here, and honestly I have no idea what's going on. So we'll be locked down until we figure it out. Okay? Thanks. Patience is a virtue. Peace out." =/\= She remained still for a few moments as the recording ended and set itself to a loop. Then she turned to Doug and Rin and shrugged. "It's not the worst message I've ever sent. Could someone please stop them before they're naked and regretful."At this point, Dimmadome and Ev'ewa were rapidly approaching biblical knowledge of each other. =/\= "Ellis to Sickbay. I'd really like some manner of report." =/\=

[Ambassador L'Sho, former Primary of Talor, former Supreme Commander of the Talorian Armada - Promenade]L'Sho realised that these men - no, warriors - were all but spent. "We must get to safety," he told the still conscious one. He surveyed the chaos around him, scanning until his gaze came upon the Blue Beta. There seemed to be something going on inside, but from what he could see from this vantage point it appeared mostly peaceful. "We can seek refuge in that drinkery." The Ambassador kneeled down and slid his hands beneath the other one's body, then with a moment to climatise himself to the weight, he hefted and tossed the body over his shoulder. "Come," he held down a hand to Smith, the other wrapped around Beck. "We can rest and return to the fight."

[Ensign Lochi Areinnye - Shuttle Repair Bay 2]The mystery of the Orunmilla was an event that took place before his time. He was still stationed on the Xanatos at the time. All he had was secondhand accounts from superstitious crew members and civilians. There was no investment in this assignment. But, there wasn't going to be many assignments that didn't tickle his fancy, thus was the life of Starfleet officers that were at the bottom of the ladder. A PADD in one hand, a glass of Green Earl Grey tea in the other. Grey eyes danced between the PADD and the labeled wreckage within the shuttlebay. Finishing his glass of tea, he threw it with all his might towards the force field. The cup passed through the barrier, drifting off into the vastness of space. A low laugh escaped his lips. Slowly it grew, until he was laughing so hard that he dropped his PADD. As the device hit the floor, the laughter came to an end. He stood straight up, looking around. What was going on? There was something happening to him... He wanted to shatter limbs beneath his palms and feet. He wanted to pull Jovireh tight to his body as their lips interlocked. Grey eyes closed as he shook his head. Where were these thoughts coming from? They were intrusive. They were loud. He needed to get out of here. Sit in the dark of his quarters with Smoke on his lap. Ride this out until these intense feelings passed. In a fluid motion, he dropped down and swept his PADD up as he made his way to the Lieutenant. Pulling a cigarette out of his pocket, he sparked it up with a silver Zippo. Clearing his throat, he announced himself. "Lieutenant, I'm going to head to my quarters. I'll be sure to forward mein findings to both the Science and Intelligence Departments." Exhaling smoke from his nostrils, he couldn't help but notice the vibes being off. "Am I interrupting something? It feels like I'm interrupting something." Étienne did nothing to stop the lieutenant from comandeering his drink, and watched with fascination at the blue-green fellow's voracious thirst. He put his hand on his forehead and moved his hand back through his hair, trying to make sense of the sudden flush. He wanted the lieutenant. Shavan. Since when? Sure, he'd thought about it, but Étienne had thought plenty about plenty of people this way. But it had never been a problem keeping it professional, and the wanting was more fun. "Uh," he tried. And then that new intelligence ensign, Ensign Areinnye, who was smoking, strangely well beyond the rules for scientific settings. But, "No! Don't go!" Étienne blurted out. Then softer. "Don't go. Stay. Stay. Stay stay stay. Hey. Hey... Shhh. Stay." He moved forward, taking both men at their shoulders, guiding them together, closer, and looking up at them. He mouth was bone dry and he swallowed hard. [ Shavan Th’zhaar - Shuttle Repair Bay 2] Fixated on the wonderful hot drink, Shavan did not notice the Intelligence officer’s approach until he spoke. He slowly lowered the empty cup from his lips, pausing as if for the first time noticing exactly what he had just said and did. Though he chose to focus on Areinnye’s words instead. “Cool. Yeah. I’m not supposed to tell you to stay until the end of your shift or something, am I? I really don’t care.” Wait, was that out loud? Maybe the ensign had the right idea. But no, he wouldn’t go to his quarters. There was something important he had to confess to someone. Well, maybe more than one thing to more than one someone, but— Fournier pushed them together. Oh. Okay then. Of course, it had not escaped his notice that Areinnye was also very attractive. His dark gaze trailed over the other men in their closeness, and he smirked as his mind went someplace that would definitely be a lot of fun. “It’s no interruption at all. If you want to stay, that is… I can make it worth it.” Forgotten, the raktajino cup had slipped from his fingers and clattered to the floor. Though surely he usually showed a little more restraint than that. Especially around humans. Right? Maybe? Kaya Som Lochi Areinnye

[ T’Laara - Blue Beta] T’Laara laughed. The situation with the human couple was escalating in a more serious direction, but now she was laughing at the fact that she was laughing, which was even more illogical. Yet, there was something freeing about it. When the moment had passed enough to subside into the occasional giggle, she glanced at Jem Sparkles, who was still nearby. “I want to be in love like that.” The remark slipped out without thinking. While contemplating potential matches, her gaze fell on Jovireh and the unpleasant Andorian, and the fighting outside. All of them letting out whatever negative emotions they liked. A spark of envy grew within her. Suddenly, the situation was less amusing. She shifted in her seat as her own emotions and desires threatened a subtle turn somewhere deeper… darker. It wasn't as if Kova's past was a secret, but most know well enough not to speak of it, particularly in her presence. The Andorian's eyes narrowed as they boar into the hybrid. She had a sharp tongue. Far more sharper than Kova would have expected, especially from a senior officer and a Betazoid no less. The woman called for for security to make their way to promenade as things continued to escalate. However, Kova's emotions were still heighted from Jov's comments. She reached for the nearest glass, closed her hand around it and tossed its contents right towards Velal's face. Kova's eyes stared down at the now empty glass. Why had she done that? She was unable to question the action as the suitor's assailant attempted to rush around Jovireh. Kova reached over to push the woman in any direction that wasn't towards the suitor. "Back the hell off!" she snapped. Her eyes went back to the security chief. "And you... if you know half as much as claim to know about me, then you'd know I'm the last person you want to piss off," said Kova.

[Blue Beta - Promenade] What was she supposed to be doing again?, not that it really mattered as the laughter began to subside for the time being. The spectacle that had caused her to laugh so loudly at someone else's misfortune, was far from over it seemed as Kova joined in. This was just so popcorn worthy and the type of material that Jem could use as both gossip and for her act later in the week. Yes this would work very well or maybe she should contact Charlie about turning it into a story for the FNN instead?. As the Drag Queen pondered this, she remembered that she wasn't alone as T'Laara spoke about how she wanted to be in love like that. Well that stopped Jem from envisaging additional fame and fortune, along with the emotions that began to emanate so strongly from the Vulcan. " Don't we all my dear" Jem replied as she sat down opposite T'Laara. " Although .. why yes we could go to Delirium ... I know the owner personally".Of course the nightclub wasn't open yet but when did that stop Jem Sparkles and besides if a certain Argellian just so happened to get the alert, well how could he possibly resist her friend here. Besides this place was getting far too loud and fighty, not exactly the place for a Drag Queen to be seen in right now.

[SCPO Jovireh Velal - Front Ear - Blue Beta]As the woman continued to go after the man as he continued to try and kiss her foot, Jov threw her hands up in exasperation. If they weren't going to listen to her, fine. She wasn't going to waste her breath. The Chief was about to leave the restaurant to go assist her people in the other fights on the Promenade when some sort of alcohol splashed all over her face. She froze, stunned momentarily, but her gaze landed on Kova - blue-handed with the empty glass. How dare she?! The hybrid's anger boiled rapidly to the surface... and overflowed. Before another thought crossed her mind, her body pivoted towards the Andorian, her fist flying directly towards Kova's face. [Elsewhere on the Promenade] As the Blue Angel spoke to him about going to safety, Smith just nodded mutely, watching in amazement as the man lifted the heftier John. Not wanting to be left behind, he scrambled to his feet, stumbling a couple times as more injuries made themselves known. But he could walk, sort of, and hobbled after the Talorian towards the Blue Beta that seemed so very far away.

At least the no ne else boards until we sort this out thing had been dealt with, but if they didn't do something about their ops officers...well...let's just say they may find themselves with an extra crewmember and a front row seat to said miracle in motion. It was not a motion that he particularly wanted to view. Then he had something thrown at him by the man named Sir Doug, some kind of old style face covering. Likely useless in their current situation, but he put it on anyway as it looked like fun! Fun it was, until it got caught on his earring, but a little careful maneuvering seemed to untangle both. Thankfully, his own personal d'ja pagh was far less elaborate than some he had seen, or he would have had no chance! Wait, did he just call him a twink? What did that even mean? Should he be complimented or insulted right now? Maybe he really didn't want to know, but of bigger concern was the while 'this is bad' thing. First thing's first though, he stopped himself gfrom giggling like a schoolboy and rose from his seat to stand over the 'happy couple'. "Hey you two! Would be more helpful if you could get back to your stations before you do something you'll regret." Yes, start with the nicey nicey approach and pull up his big boy pants if they didn't get the hint. Provided of course, everyone still had pants by then. Of course, the fire extinguisher was still an option.

[Felicity Ellis - Ops Centre]Dimmadome and Ev'ewa were completely ignoring Rin. In fact, like a slap to all of their faces, the two seemed to pick up their pace. Their moans of pleasure amped up a couple of decibels, with a few growls and yelps of pain thrown into the cacophony for good measure. "I can't believe we're getting this for free," Felicity said, tone a little absent as she stared. She shook herself then, realising she was staring and it was very unprofessional. "Can we set off the sprinkler or anti-fire system?" She asked Rin and some of the others. "That might cool things down a little in here." Another Ensign had stood, and was beginning to remove his uniform in a sexy dance display, moving toward Sir Doug in smooth, rhythmic shuffles. "Science is so hard."Ugh, science was the worst. Sometimes it was the best though, but right now it was definitely the worst. Zaman was still talking, and much like her, the more words he spoke the deeper the hole he was digging for himself. "I don't need to hear about your little backdoor!" She exclaimed, then actually smacked the palm of her hand off her own forehead. She stepped aside and made room for him to take over the console. "Please..." Any hope of the mask being a deterrent to speaking were gone, but she would take any help she could get. At that moment, finally, Sickbay began returning her calls. =/\= "Greetings, Operations Centre. I am running extensive tests." =/\= Shouts began in the background of the communication, at first only filling the silent parts between Lunn's sentences, then overcoming it completely. =/\= "Restrain him! Stop him, gods damn it, you morons! Don't let my guinea pig escape!" =/\= Felicity leaned forward as the communication cut short. Realisation was dawning very, very quickly. This was bad. It was really, really bad. "Rin, I need a station-wide announcement. Security bulletin. Everyone is under lockdown. Everyone is to stay in their quarters, or return to them immediately, if safe. Isolate areas where we've had the highest concentration of violent outbursts and erect forcefields around them. Take us to Yellow Alert." She did not want to cause any further panic but honestly, if this was an attack, it was terrifyingly efficient and they'd already lost. =/\= "Ellis to Velal. Tell me you know what's going on down there." =/\=

[Ambassador L'Sho, former Primary of Talor, former Supreme Commander of the Talorian Armada - To Blue Beta, Promenade]Once or twice the Ambassador had to forcefully shove a body or two out of their way, but they successfully managed to carve their own path through the jostling, shouting throng. "We will take cover here," he explained to the man hobbling along in his wake. He walked inside and took in his surroundings, displeased to note that those inside the drinkery had not escaped violence either. "Senior Chief Petty Officer Velal!" He barked, his icy cool suddenly breaking a little as a line creased between his brows. He deposited the still unconscious Beck to the floor. "Your soldier requires medical attention."The human-adjacent security officer seemed intent on getting into a brawl of her own with an Andorian, so L'Sho turned his attention to the others present. "I had intended on recommending that we fortify this position for defence, but I am now uncertain if it is any safer than outside," he explained to the one with the huge hair. As if then to prove a point, a projectile was tossed inside, the sound of smashing glass following shortly thereafter.

Étienne did nothing to stop the lieutenant from comandeering his drink, and watched with fascination at the blue-green fellow's voracious thirst. Right? Maybe? [Ensign Lochi Areinnye - Shuttle Repair Bay 2]The Lieutenant was apathetic to his request, a response the young officer was thankful for. But, as he turned to leave, he was snatched up by Étienne and the three were brought in close proximity to one another. "Nein, sir... I was just..." The palm of his hand ran along one of the older gentlemen's back. Fingertips ran along his frame. A sharp inhale cut off his words. His thoughts became foggy. Became primal. He wanted this. But every instinct told him to run away. In a fluid, feline motion, he disengaged from the pair, holding his PADD close to his chest. "Nein, nein. I can't. You're bozh quite beautiful... But I want my first time to be someplace different zhen a shuttlebay." And then his shoulders slumped. Why did he admit to that? "Auf viedersehen." he said in a defeated sigh, getting to the turbolift as quickly as possible. The doors closed behind him. "Computer..." The computer chimed. "Deck 14." And the turbolift left the scene as he slumped up against the wall. Unfortunately, his pity party was cut short by the notifications he kept receiving on his PADD. Grey eyes read the messages as he took a long drag off of his cigarette. The station seemed to be going to Hell in a handbasket. "Computer... Promenade."He felt hot. Felt suffocated. Putting the PADD in his back pocket, he removed his shirt and jacket, tossing them off to the side. On his forearms were two bracers that each held a green blade. The blades were locked in spring contraptions. The turbolift doors opened to the chaos of the Promenade. Lochi lit himself another cigarette with the remnants of his cigarette from the shuttlebay as he tossed the remnants aside. Taking a long drag, smoke exhaled his nostrils as his free hand moved to the lip of his pants. Grey eyes simply watching.

[ T’Laara - Blue Beta] “Delirium?” T’Laara’s attention returned to Jem Sparkles as the unexpected suggestion was presented. It may not be a place for finding love, exactly… but it was an alternative to fighting. Which may happen if she stayed here any longer. “Yes. Very well.”She stood up as if to leave. However, before she could go anywhere another spectacle occurred. She watched the blue man’s arrival in vivid fascination. The urges running through her were thrilling. She was not sure if they would be satisfied by joining the fight, or seeking a mate. But the one thing T’Laara was not inclined to do at the moment was continue to sit here. She almost laughed again at the Talorian’s seriousness when he spoke of defenses, but the shattering glass close by caused her to step back. Everyone’s emotions were running high. Too much so. Something strange was going on. Instead she simply shook her head at the suggestion. “I am going to go out and party.” She paused. “And find out what is happening.” tag Jem Sparkles , L'Sho

[Blue Beta - Promenade] The more Jem thought about her genius idea, the more the Drag Queen loved it and wondered why it had taken her so long to think of it. Delirium was the perfect place for being more discreet and escape from all of this madness that was going on around them. A private party was just what was needed and as T'Laara responded then agreed to her suggestion. " Excellent, you won't be disappointed" Jem assured her young friend, before a semi naked Ambassador L'Sho appeared looking well ... very fine indeed. He clearly wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty and it showed as he singled her out and spoke to her. Jem felt her heart flutter slightly as she became mesmerised by the blue Adonis right in front of her, imagining what she would like to do to him. Somewhere in the recesses of her mind, it dawned on Jem as to what he was actually saying, before T'Laara decided that she still wanted to party and find out what was going on. The word party was enough for Jem and so she sidled up to L'Sho and brushed against him. " Yes we're going to party at Delirium if you want to join us and trust me, it's a lot safer than here".The Ambassador and Pieter together in the same room would be rather enjoyable and hoped that she had enticed him enough to accept. Sure that might mean others joining in but Jem was willing to accept that particular sacrifice in order to have fun.
