Harmon quickly exited the Mac as soon as it had docked and he was able to. He was still incensed by his reassignment, supposedly a promotion. He’d been sent to Front Ear, a name that made about as much sense as his reassignment, with the crew of the USS Mac, publicly he was listed as an Administrative Officer, but in reality he would be the new Intelligence Station Chief. Chief of what he wasn’t sure, he’d been told he had two staff members, an Ensign fresh from the academy and a Petty Officer Second Class. Deciding he needed a drink, Harmon went looking for a terminal to get directions from. However, he was beckoned by an older, well dressed man with some sort of furry animal on his shoulder, offering a tour. He sighed internally, not in the mood for pleasantries but quickly decided that perhaps a tour would allow him to procrastinate having to go to work. “Only if we go get a drink first. It’s been a long trip,” he said, his tone flat and neutral, not quite pleasant and friendly, but not rude or harsh or even particularly grumpy. “Leftenant Matthew Harmon,” he said with a forced smile as he extended his hand towards Doug. [NPC - Sir Dugris "Doug" Zaman - Landing Pad C]Doug had a feeling, from the young man's tone, that he wasn't enthused. However, the offer of a drink was sure to alleviate that. Doug took the hand to shake, shook it firmly, and then released. "You're in luck, since there's a new bar that's opening here today. Might even have a good sale going on."PooDoo, from her perch on Doug's shoulder, sniffed at the other gentleman from afar, as Doug turned out towards the turbolift, leading Harmon along. [Blue Beta Bar and Grill]Doug entered the spacious gastropub, taking in the surroundings. He'd seen it under construction, and here it was now. "Greetings!" he announced his entrance, beelining for the bar. "I'll have one old-fashioned for myself, and one muffin for my furry companion."Then, he looked over to Harmon. "Drinks on me," he proclaimed. [ Petty Officer Conor Lynch - Landing Pad C, Front Ear Station] Conor Lynch peered at Dihiq, his face scrunched up with confusion. "Uh... no idea, pal. One way to find out?" [NPC - PO2 Dihiq, son of Kroka - Landing Pad C]Dihiq shrugged. "Guess I'll go see," he proclaimed quietly, and then darted off towards that bathroom. His poor, poor irritable bladder. “A sale sounds good,” he replied before following the man to the apparently brand new Blue Beta Bar and Grill. “I’ll have a gin and tonic, with lemon juice,” he asked the bartender. “Thank you...Doug was it?” He asked as his guide offered to buy his drink.

[ Pieter & Leanna - Blue Beta Bar & Grill] There wasn't anything to complain about as Leanna was fussed over by Pieter, who wanted to ensure that his boss and friend, not only took it easy but also had enough to eat. As much as she had intended to get to work straightaway, the Betazoid had to admit, that it was nice to do the more fun parts of her job and that was getting to sample new items. So as she caught up with Pieter, Lea made short work of the snacks and cocktail, savouring the flavours and sensations, as well as starting to feel like she was home. After everything that she had gone through lately, it was nice to just take a moment to relax, knowing that she had nothing to worry about,at least in terms of the business. Now she could focus on making it a success and being reunited with Fells' now that his release was imminent. No she had a good feeling that things were finally going to pick up and be how they used to be, especially with the added bonus of the baby's arrival in a few months. Sitting comfortably as she took the last sip of her drink, Lea then smiled as their first customers of the day, entered and approached the bar. Greeting them both with a friendly smile, before becoming slightly mesmerised by the adorable fluffy animal on the older mans shoulder. Pieter instantly switched to work mode and greeted the newcomers, recognising Doug from seeing him around the station. " Greetings to you both, one old fashioned, one muffin and one gin and tonic with lemon juice, coming right up".As Pieter got to work, Leanna then greeted the pair. " Welcome to the Blue Beta, I must say that you have an adorable pet, on your shoulder, is she native to the area?".

[Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams) - Main Engineering]Judy nodded, until Saya put the First Officer's own quarters in. "No, no, not my quarters. We already did the repairs, and I like to do my own cleaning," she countered. "There's nothing like vacuuming up a carpet, or scrubbing a toilet, to keep the ego in check."Judy had achieved enough, in over a half-century, to sustain a humongous ego. "Let's start slow, start with your quarters. We can follow them along, take notes on their performance, and then proceed. Keep the process as scientific and rigorous as we can."Judy cupped a hand over one side of her mouth. "It'll also give us a chance to talk about the root cause," she added, in an almost conspiratorial whisper. By now, Judy was almost certain this place needed a serious injection of order and paperwork. [Main Engineering - MCPO Ozu Saya] Oh, very well, Saya said, quickly changing what she'd been typing into the system. She hesitated briefly. Evekh is napping, but this should be quiet enough to not disturb him. I believe these are the bots that should be deployed to deck 25, so they will be easy for us to follow. As she finished speaking, Givens arrived with several PADDs in her arms, her face flaming red. She knew she'd not done well handling everything since the former chief's departure and that said chief had also not been handling things as he should have. That would be why he'd been discharged. Saya turned and waited, arms folded as Givens searched through the messy pile. Um, here's the crew roster, she said, holding out one of the PADDs. Saya took it without a word or glance and waited for the rest. Givens blinked a couple of times, then went back to searching through the piles. This is a summary of current systems' statuses. It's...mostly up to date.Saya's eyes narrowed, but she accepted this PADD as well. With a nervous breath, Givens went on in a small voice, The rest of these are maintenance requests. There were about seven more PADDs in her arms. Each one is a different department. After a moment's silence, Saya said shortly, Take those to the chief engineer's office, assuming it is usable? She gave Givens a raised eyebrow, to which the lieutenant responded with a tiny nod. Commander Eastman and I are going to address the cleaning bot issue from here. Assign teams to the rest of the stations. Have them check the bots themselves as well as the programming. There are more than enough people on duty to cover the entire station.Yes, ma'am, Givens replied in a slightly stronger voice. She turned smartly and hurried into the main area of engineering, sighing with relief. That hadn't been too bad. Maybe this new chief would keep her on as assistant chief. She'd at least seemed calmer than the old chief had been most of the time. Saya shook her head and glanced at Judy, her jaw tight. At least she seems to recognize there are problems, though she's incapable of handling them. I thought it would be easier to relay orders through her until I meet with them all tomorrow.
Shall we? she asked, gesturing to the bots. I'll call Kyo on the way.

With a nod of approval, Peggy scrawled into her notebook. When she was asked for her recommendation, she paused to consider the two new patrons before answering. "Well, this young lady here has The Great Big Irish Breakfast Spud." She gestured helpfully toward the redhead's loaded plate. "All of the ingredients of an Irish breakfast, on a spud. Egg, bacon, baked beans, Irish pork sausage and two twice-baked Rooster potatoes. 'Tis a hearty choice, but not for everyone.""We also have our healthy choice -" Peggy made the same unimpressed face as she had earlier when she'd mentioned the wholesome option, "Of our loaded kale spud. But perhaps, for ye, as there appears to be plenty of incoming palates of a discerning nature this morning, I'd recommend my Classic. One of me baked spuds, filled with steamed broccoli, melted, aged Gruyere, finely diced tomatoes and just a sprinkling of chives."She was fully committed to the description of her Classic Spud, but that didn't mean she wouldn't notice the giant of a man approaching. "Howeya," she greeted, a little cautiously. "If it's carb-loadin' yer lookin' for, then ye came to the right place, my lad." SpudriqSven gave the waitress his full attention. But if he was honest with himself, he wasn't a big fan of the root vegetable. Even as twice baked potatoes fully loaded. He made a sheepish smile. "I suppose you don't serve rice here?" he had not had time to even look at a menu. [ Thea - The Spudriq Potato Bar, Promenade] At Anna's comment about the food that Thea had chosen, the CMO looked towards the teen and smiled, as she then answered her. " It's very delicious and definitely the best baked potato that I've ever tasted, I'm so glad that I decided to follow my stomach, rather than get to work, straightaway".Thea was always one to be honest, especially when realising her own shortcomings and how she could come across. Although with Anna and to some degree Max, she felt at ease and that she wouldn't make a complete fool of herself in front of them. As Max then spoke with the owner, regarding the tea and what she recommended, Thea returned her attention to her meal, taking another bite, then a sip of her tea. Although did pause from continuing as a man wearing security gold, approached and greeted Max, giving the man a polite and friendly smile, in the process, before acknowledging Peggy as she answered Max and spoke to the newcomer. "Oh, sorry. Manners. I'm Sven Aune. Recently transferred to Front Ear." he offered the CMO a large calloused hand to shake."Anna cracked a little smile at Thea's comment, readying a little teen sarcasm bomb. "I'm not allowed to say that, not with Dad in the room," she pointed out, eyeing her father. "Certainly not," Max agreed. Then the lady came back and introduced some options. The breakfast spud sounded so tempting, but... bacon. He let out the smallest of sighs, aware of this sacrifice he'd made taking a practicing Jewish wife and raising Jewish children with her. At least the classic spud sounded good. And then, in came a mountain of a Security Officer they'd all but adopted. "Sven. Good morning," Max acknowledged, and then turned to order. "The Classic spud sounds delicious. I'll have that."But, of course, he wasn't the only one living the kosher life. "Can I have the breakfast spud with no bacon and no sausage?" Anna asked. "I know Judy was was here, I didn't expect you to be here as of yet. I thought families were transferring in later. When did the two of you get in? And what's with all the lobster tanks?"

“A sale sounds good,” he replied before following the man to the apparently brand new Blue Beta Bar and Grill. “I’ll have a gin and tonic, with lemon juice,” he asked the bartender. “Thank you...Doug was it?” He asked as his guide offered to buy his drink. [NPC - Sir Dugris "Doug" Zaman - Blue Beta Bar & Grill]PooDoo hopped off Doug's shoulder and onto the bar, strutting slowly as she explored it, bushy tail raised high. "Doug's the name, Sir Doug if you want to be proper," Doug confirmed to Harmon. Then, he turned to the young, pregnant lady at the bar. "She is a Lesser PooDoo, named PooDoo. They're native to Kerelia. The name actually means 'demon', and it's pretty apt. Don't you agree, Pood-pood?"The little creature made her way back to Doug and he patted her head and fluffy back. "She looks sweet, but she has claws. Yes, you're a fierce little thing. Pickier than any of my ex-wives, and that's saying a lot."*** [Main Engineering - MCPO Ozu Saya] Oh, very well, Saya said, quickly changing what she'd been typing into the system. Shall we? she asked, gesturing to the bots. I'll call Kyo on the way. [Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams) - Main Engineering -> Jeffries Tubes]Judy sighed. "I think I have a good sense of what's going on. I'll just have to bring it up somewhere more private, since unfortunately you don't speak Yiddish," she told Saya, half-joking. Only half, because Max had agreed to study both Hebrew and Yiddish with her, starting when she was pregnant with Tom. Hebrew, so they could both make their children together speak it, and Yiddish, so the kids wouldn't understand. The robots began to move, and Judy followed them, motioning for Saya to come along. At last, they were out of Main Engineering, and in the tubes. Judy slipped her jacket back to her waist, her handbag onto her forearm, and began to head down. "My assessment, as a manager and a mom - which are really analogous skillsets - is that there's a culture of chaos. There's a sloppy manner of doing things that's permeated from the top down. Fix the culture, and that'll fix the department. Unfortunately, since entropy applies to groups and societies too, we're fighting an uphill battle," Judy lectured, showing impressive stamina (courtesy of a regular exercise routine and an artificial ticker) as she followed the bots down one deck. "To fix it, we're going to need to lead by example, top-down, but also induce a new motivation and taste for order from the bottom-up, at the grassroots. That's going to take personal interactions, close work, rewards, incentives, maybe some homemade bourekas too. That's my take, at least."Judy had a feeling she'd have this same talk with other DHs, and the Captain, in time. Saya, with whom she already had a good rapport, was the ideal start for laying out a convincing case.

Jett heard the brunette’s lady request for her name. He nodded and responded Niamh, it is.. Tom responded with a smile. As he greeted her. As she made the tongue and cheek comment about losing their shirt, Jett smiled and responded with an attitude. “Even tighter” . He responded with a smile. “But you won’t get to see me shirtless or pantless, as I don’t intend to lose” . He finished with a smile as he knew he sounded arrogant. In order to be a good pilot, there has to be a certain arrogance that you have to have that you can push the envelope with your craft. He ignored the Stripper comment as he figured that he was not going to lose any article of clothing.
As he kept walking he observed from the corner of his eye a creature of unknown origins. He had seen plenty of things in his time in Starfleet and this was something unique. He reacted by seeing the creature a making sure that his pulse pistol was not harnessed. If he needed to do a quick draw he wanted to be ready.
Jett remained focused on the blackjack table as he was thinking with another person that is good with Math they would be able to count cards and clean the house. As Cara introduced herself Jett smiled and would have extended his hand. “Cara…it is. Chip N’ Dales was an ancient earth Strip Club…for men. And…”. He stopped for a second and wondered how to explain. ” Nevermind…it’s ….you have to see it” . As Tom walked and continued his way to the Tables. He mentioned “No Statement, actually name, and it’s my last.” . The man responded as he remained focused as he tried to clear his mind to the table all of the sudden something unexpected happened.
Cara decided to make nice to the random creature on the side. The same creature that gave him the wipes that something was off. He followed his instincts which appeared to the be opposite of Cara’s. He stopped for a second and wanted to go to the blackjack table. He could have let her fend to herself with the unknown creature, but his indicts told him otherwise.
“Niamh, she might need your help. Your shipmate is clearly drunk.” Jett explained. He would not care about the person as it was none of his business and he wanted to leave the Station as fast as possible. The least about of distraction the better. He still had his pulse pistol ready in the even the situation went out of control. As he kept with the corner of his eye he approached the table and sat of it. He tossed it a couple of slips of latinum which was quickly changed into chips. [/quote]

[Mess hall USS Mac Npc Cooper] "I could show you once I've settled in if you really want to see them. See if I can get a shuttle down there." "That would be amazing!" Rio grinned brightly. "I know they can be hit and miss on Earth." But going with someone who knows what they're doing should increase chances!
"It's a reaction. A collission if you will. Those electrically charged particles collide with whatever is in a planets atmosphere. In our case...oxygen and yes, minerals and big amounts of nitrogen. We also have a particularly strong solar wind here." "Ah, technical stuff." Laughing, Rio shrugged. "Well, you know us Security people, all brawn and no sense!" It was in jest, of course, but then, science and math had never been her strong points, and she held no shame in that...at least she had good 'common sense'.
"I don't want to be rude but we'd better get going before we get sweeped up by these little things." [/quote][/div] "Then we'd get spit out in the recycle bin!" As she stood, Rio laughed. "But you're right, I'm sure the rush to get off is over, and I still have a couple things to pack." She glanced at him. "Do you maybe want to get together for dinner or to explore the station? I have the rest of the day off, so..." She shrugged, hoping she might have a companion but all right with it if she didn't.

[ Felicity Ellis - Command Center, Front Ear Station] Felicity was surprised to hear of four officers being forced into early retirement. She doubted it was quite that simple, but she kept her own counsel this time, lest she aggravate the Commander further. She turned away from the other woman as the 'lift doors opened, curious gaze assessing the deck before her. She waited, watching, and didn't move again until Parsinp announced her with a roar that reverberated throughout the large room. Felicity noted the pair engaged in a heated discussion off to one side, the others gathered around the proverbial water cooler, and the altogether lax atmosphere of the Command center. She had always encouraged a sense of freedom from formality amongst the Sierra Operations crew, but this... This was borderline dangerous. Under normal circumstances, Felicity might find the scene that unfolded before them amusing. Alas, the disorganisation served only as confirmation that Front Ear had serious problems. For a moment the only sound she could hear was the drip - drip - drip of the spilled coffee. "As you were," she told them, her tone just a touch wry. [Command Center - Commander Priscilla Parsinp]Parsinp glared around at the officers as they slowly turned back to their stations (or picked themselves up off the floor). The young captain hadn't really said why she wanted to come to the command center, so she decided a small address might be in order. Clearing her throat, Parsinp strode with as much dignity as her stature allowed to stand in front of the large viewscreen on one wall, where most of the officers could see her without turning. This is Captain Ellis, the one who'll be taking over here soon. I suppose we'll both be here until the handover is completed. Just...cooperate with the new officers, she said, unable to speak without gritting her teeth as she told her people to behave themselves. Parsinp hated giving up her control, but she could be a realist on occasion, very rare occasions. She'd done her arguing and complaining to the admiralty - sending the Mac full of replacement officers had been their reply to her most recent, vitriolic message. Her notice of honorable discharge had come right after the brief communique informing her of the ship's imminent arrival. Parsinp had known then that it was hopeless, but it didn't mean she had to accept the hostile takeover gladly. [ Felicity Ellis - Command Center, Front Ear Station] It was quite clear to Felicity that Parsinp was not happy, and not just because she was getting ousted. As the woman spoke, Felicity's eyes scanned the large room again, taking in as much detail as she could, committing certain faces to memory and taking note of a few compromised positions of those caught unaware. "Thank you, Commander." Felicity inclined her head toward Parsinp once she'd finished her brief address. Then she turned toward the other officers present and laid out a subtle warning. "You will all be seeing a lot of me over the coming days. My First Officer and I intend on speaking with each of you, in turn, and learning where you will be most effective."In other words, shape up. Or ship out.She smiled, though it didn't quite reach her eyes. Felicity was disappointed, in many things that the day had offered thus far, but at that moment there was nothing she could do about it. At least, not quite yet. "Please, carry on with your duties. If you have questions don't hesitate to let me know."Felicity waited for a short time for those present to disperse and return to their duties. In a lower voice to Parsinp, she delivered another warning. "Admiral Antoinette Ellis contacted me earlier to let me know she is en route to Front Ear Station. She neglected to mention when she'd be arriving, which is in keeping with her particular style, but she will expect a certain standard of welcome." So as not to risk further offense to the sensitive Commander, Felicity glanced at her and hastened to add of her own mother, "She's quite difficult."That was putting it mildly, but Felicity did not quite have enough of a read on Parsinp to judge how likely she would be to cry treason.

[mess hall MAC NPC Cooper] It seemed like she was a real joker. But it didn't seem to be a joke when she asked about dinner or going exploring together. Brody froze on the inside for a moment. Was this girl possibly interested in more than just 'exploring the station'? Did she want to explore 'him', maybe? He gave off an insecure vibe when he cleared his throat and ran a hand through his hair. "Er...m...I don't know yet. I have to find my quarters and probably meet my new boss some time." Did he really sound like an idiot now? Probably! "I mean, once I've got my stuff sorted, we could 'explore' a little....Give me your comm ID and I'll be in touch, okay?"

Front Ear Station. Deck 7. It had been one long journey, but Sven was looking forward to starting a new chapter in his life. A more permanent position as security upon this, uniquely named station. He had come at the personal request of Dr, Judith Eastman and he was happy to oblige. The large bodybuilder packed lightly. Years in the service fighting the Dominion taught him that. With nothing but a single small travel pack filled with an extra uniform and some off duty clothes that would double as his workout attire. He could get more clothes as needed. Dr. Eastman had been teaching him the art of investing and he had some small sources of passive income. Most of which he was saving to acquire more sources of passive income, but some was budgeted for other things to supplement his salary. He walked along the promenade, looking at all the shops when a particular one caught his eye. A potato bar and he smirked. Judy would be in there, if she was off duty. And so he entered and was not so surprised to see Max.. “Max!” He walked up to him. “How are you?” He cast his attention to the teen. “Hi Anna!” [ Margaret "Peggy" Lynch - The Spudriq Potato Bar, Promenade, Front Ear Station] With a nod of approval, Peggy scrawled into her notebook. When she was asked for her recommendation, she paused to consider the two new patrons before answering. "Well, this young lady here has The Great Big Irish Breakfast Spud." "I'm not allowed to say that, not with Dad in the room," she pointed out, eyeing her father. "Certainly not," Max agreed. Then the lady came back and introduced some options. "The Classic spud sounds delicious. I'll have that."But, of course, he wasn't the only one living the kosher life. "Can I have the breakfast spud with no bacon and no sausage?" Anna asked. And what's with all the lobster tanks?"[ Margaret "Peggy" Lynch - The Spudriq Potato Bar, Promenade, Front Ear Station] "One Classic Spud for the gentleman," Peggy muttered happily as she scribbled, then paused a moment to peer at the young lady. "O'course ye can, love. The Great Big Irish Breakfast Spud with nothing of the pig." It was a bizarre choice that Peggy did not quite understand at that moment, for who didn't love a bit of bacon? But it was still the least strange request she would hear that morning. She looked at the big man in gold as though he had two heads. "Rice!?" She repeated, a little taken aback. "Eh, sure. Would ye be likin' anything on yer rice, sir, or just... plain?"Peggy was planning a chili con carne spud for her lunch specials, but she supposed she could make an early start on the prep by boiling the large lad up some long-grain. Once she had confirmation, she'd hustle back to the tiny kitchen. *** [ Brooke - Private Quarters] Some time Later ...It wasn't difficult, nor did Brooke refrain from responding verbally and softly to the way Greg used his fingertips to trail along her skin and further. Loving the reaction that it always caused, whenever he touched her and how she could never have enough of when they got to be alone like this. Even as he then looked at her, she couldn't help but look back and grin happily, before he asked her to tell him everything that he had missed. That was understandable, given how their subspace calls, couldn't always cover everything and enjoyed being able to fill him in on the details, she wasn't able to share. " Mmm let me think .... Lea decided on a name for the baby and is going to call him Aven, Dad's working on some kind of surprise for us, but he won't even give me a hint .....The rest of her sentence was cut off as Greg then quipped about her still wanting to marry her, with that sexy grin of his, before his fingers began to move upwards again. This elicited another pleasant response from Brooke as she answered him, this time a little more breathlessly. " Oh yes, in fact, I may of brought my wedding dress with me".That was her reversing the tease as the specially made for her, custom gown, was currently on the grav sled, packaged carefully and given top priority. [ Gregory Ellis - Private Quarters] Greg hummed a response to the name, liking the simplicity and yet uniqueness of Aven, then his eyebrows shot up at the mention of his future father-in-law's surprise. Naturally, that piqued his interest. "Hmm, I wonder what the good Captain has up his sleeve..." His fingers reached the back of her neck, where they tangled in her dark hair, messed from their earlier activities. "Oh, you did?" He asked lazily when she mentioned her wedding dress, playing down his pleasure at the thought of her already organising her dress for their big day. His hand left her hair and splayed in the center of her back, then his arm tensed and he pulled her closer to him. He didn't stop until their noses almost touched. "Can I see it?" He teased back, knowing full well she'd say no, but his dark eyes implored anyway. "Speaking of wedding preparations, though..." He trailed a series of soft kisses from the corner of her mouth and across her jawline before continuing with his thoughts, "We should probably look at a few venues..."

" Welcome to the Blue Beta, I must say that you have an adorable pet, on your shoulder, is she native to the area?".[NPC - Sir Dugris "Doug" Zaman - Blue Beta Bar & Grill]PooDoo hopped off Doug's shoulder and onto the bar, strutting slowly as she explored it, bushy tail raised high. Pickier than any of my ex-wives, and that's saying a lot." "Thanks," Harmon said with a smile as the bartender handed him his drink. He took a sizeable sip from his glass before during back to Doug. "Sir? Got a knighthood somewhere did you?" he asked curiously. Knighthoods were indeed very rare these days.
"Lesser PooDoo?" he said with a slight grin, "She's got some larger, 'greater' cousin or something down there does she?" he joked, having slowly started to loosen up. The drink was good and his mood was slowly starting to improve.

[Thea - The Spudriq Potato Bar, Promenade]
At Anna's comment, Thea smiled, especially at Max's reaction to it, understanding a little more about each of them and how lucky Anna was to have Max in her life. When Thea was her age, well she was still a little ashamed at how rebellious she had become, hitting out at her Mother, her life in Whitby and the unfairness of losing her Father.
Luckily for her, it hadn't completely destroyed her and she had turned things around, thanks to her best friend Rachel. That in itself reminded the CMO to contact her friend, as she brought herself back to the present and answered her teen friend.
" Ah now I understand, but I always appreciate good food".
Taking another bite as Max greeted the newcomer, before he and Anna gave their orders to Peggy. As this Sven then asked about rice, Thea had a feeling that he definitely looked after himself, impressed with his dedication as he then introduced himself.
" Pleased to meet you, Sven, I'm Thea Baker and same, this was my first stop, after leaving the Mac" she replied as she shook his large hand.
Listening as he then spoke to Max again, before Peggy acknowledged the orders, including Sven's request for rice. It was the sign of a good proprietor and further confirmed, that this would be a regular hangout for the CMO.

The drink was good and his mood was slowly starting to improve. [ Leanna & Pieter - Blue Beta Bar and Grill] Lea couldn't help but continue to be mesmerised as the catlike creature, jumped onto the bar top and began to explore, as her owner introduced himself to his companion, before turning to her and explaining more about his pet. Poodoo may be known as a demon but there was just something about her that the Betazoid loved. Maybe it was her demeanour or her fluffiness, either way, she hoped to see more of her. Grinning at the reference to his ex - wives, as Pieter returned with the drinks and muffin, before the man who had arrived with Doug, asked a couple of questions about the man himself and Poodoo. " She maybe a demon, but I just love how fluffy she is and if there is more of them down there, then I look forward to visiting Kerelia" Lea replied, wondering just how sharp her claws would be if she tried to pet her. The Bar Owner, then realised that she herself hadn't made any introductions and quickly rectified that, now that Poodoo had returned to her owner. " Before I forget, I'm Leanna and this here, is Pieter, one of my head Bartenders and who is also responsible for the muffins".Pieter acknowledged the introduction, as he began to clean away some of the empty dishes, that had been devoured by Lea. ******** [ Gregory Ellis - Private Quarters] Greg hummed a response to the name, liking the simplicity and yet uniqueness of Aven, then his eyebrows shot up at the mention of his future father-in-law's surprise. Naturally, that piqued his interest. "Hmm, I wonder what the good Captain has up his sleeve..." He trailed a series of soft kisses from the corner of her mouth and across her jawline before continuing with his thoughts, "We should probably look at a few venues..."[ Brooke - Private Quarters] The hummed response to Lea's choice of name for her son, was met with a smile from Brooke, before her husband to be, naturally became intrigued, with the mention of what her Dad was up too. Although as his fingers moved to the back of her hair and became tangled, it almost distracted to the point of pure ignorant bliss. Taking a moment, before she breathlessly responded to his comment. "Knowing Dad, it'll be something spectacular .....".Once again the rest of her words were cut off as her Fiance, so expertly and pleasantly shifted her attention to what he was doing to her, especially when he reacted to the news that she had brought her wedding dress to the station. Knowing him well enough to know that he was playing it cool, as she was brought closer to him. It was almost enough for her to give into him, as she looked back at him and grinned. " You know how hard it is, to say no to you, but in this case, I have to be firm, as I don't want to spoil the surprise ... however I will say, that you won't be disappointed".When he then began to trail soft kisses from the side of her mouth to her jawline, after mentioning the wedding preparations, Brooke reacted verbally to what he was doing, running her fingers across his chest in the process, as he then suggested that they start looking at wedding venues. " Mmm sounds good to me" she said softly, as she continued to tease him, thinking it was only fair to give him some attention too.

[Main Engineering --> Jeffries Tubes - MCPO Ozu Saya] Saya followed Judy, listening while she glanced through the data on the two PADDs she'd kept. Her last comment brought Saya's head up, though. Hmm, perhaps I should lead with food tomorrow. I don't have anything fresh, but I could make bourekas from replicated ingredients. I can provide food and still give them a firm talking-to.
This roster is a mess. Almost no one is assigned to gamma shift and there are far too many people at once on alpha. There are going to be some upset engineers once I rework this. She glared down at the robots for a moment. They seem to work, even if they don't appear to be in good condition. I suppose we'll see. She tapped her combadge: =/\= Ozu to Domen. Kyo, Judy and I are headed for our quarters following a crew of cleaning bots. They should be quiet enough to not disturb Evekh.Okay, see you soon. =/\= Kyo's voice was slightly puzzled, but he wouldn't question the engineers' expertise. I'll welcome any recommendations you have, Judy, for managing this mess. I feel I've done well enough in the past, but this level of laziness isn't anything I've encountered previously. George will be here withing a couple of weeks. If nothing else, he'll scare them into shape. Saya gave her colleague an amused grin.

[Command Center --> CO's Office - Commander Priscilla Parsinp] The officers slowly returned to their tasks, glancing surreptitiously between Parsinp and Ellis as they did so. Most of them had understood the underlying warning in the new captain's words. If they didn't, their colleagues would enlighten them in short order. Parsinp gestured for Felicity to follow her and headed into the CO's office, which contained a large tank against one wall with a large blue lobster making its way through a stand of plants that waved gently in the small current created by the filter. There were stacks of PADDs everywhere - the desk, the chairs, the floor. She snatched up the pile from one of the chairs and deposited it on the desk before heading around to her chair where she froze before sitting and eyed the captain speculatively. Would she expect to take over the office immediately, and therefore the chair behind the desk as well? Parsinp changed direction and moved to stand beside the desk, leaving the decision up to Ellis. It would go a long way in revealing how things were going to proceed. This admiral, you know her well? What sort of welcome do we need to set up?
