[ Margaret "Peggy" Lynch - The Spudriq Potato Bar, Promenade, Front Ear Station] "Well enjoy that, love, and just gimme a shout if ye need anything else." With a satisfied smile at a satisfied customer, Peggy backed away to allow the sensible girl some privacy to enjoy her breakfast. The silver-haired woman hustled back toward her prep station, keen to get a few things done before the mid-morning rush. "A good mornin' to the pair of ye!" She called back to the handsome gentleman and the young lady. "I'll give ye a minute." She noted that they sat with the redhead, and once she'd lavishly applied the creamy, Irish butter to the newly scrubbed potatoes with her brush and slid the next half a dozen into the oven, she grabbed her pad and pencil again and returned to the table. "Now-so," she greeted, no-nonsense and straight down to the business of food. "What is it I can get for you two? Start with a decent pot of tea?" Her pencil was poised, she was ready to serve. [ Thea - The Spudriq Potato Bar, Promenade, Front Ear Station] " Thank you, I will" Thea replied as Peggy then politely backed away, to allow her customer to enjoy her breakfast. The CMO had to admit that she loved this place already and could see many a conversation happening, with the owner, especially as she became a regular at The Spudriq. Pausing to take a sip of her tea, before she was joined by a couple of familiar faces, who she had met, when she first boarded The Mac. " Hi Anna and Max, sure, I would love for you both to join me".Thea's response was sincere as she was determined to make friends and be more sociable, aboard Front Ear, rather than keep to herself and spend the majority of her time in Sickbay, focused on work. Of course she realised that it would take time and best not to rush these things, but she did enjoy having company and looked forward to getting to know Commander Eastman's family a little more. As if one cue, Peggy returned after Max had greeted her and Thea smiled as she approached and spoke to her dining companions. [NPCs - Max Williams & Anna Eastman Williams - The Spudriq Potato Bar]Max and Anna sat down across from Thea, each with legs crossed. Max retrieved his little reading glasses from his pocket, unfolded them and put them on; he could've used Retinax, but Judy had left her firm imprint on him. Both began to look over the menu, but also at their fellow diner and her rather magnificent meal. "That looks delicious," Anna complimented. Then, the proprietor returned, demonstrating a seriousness Max liked to see, and had used himself in his career. "Tea sounds wonderful," he answered, having already had his fix of coffee with Judy earlier in the morning. "As for the meal, I was actually wondering what you'd recommend?"Max had learned in his long experience to recognize restauranteurs who were invested in their work, and to take their recommendations. [Main Engineering - Deck 24 - MCPO Ozu Saya] Saya was quite surprised that Judy hadn't beaten her to engineering, but she was only a few moments behind. Judy, she responded. I hope that your back isn't giving you too much trouble. She raised one eyebrow at Judy's extreme informality of wearing her uniform jacket tied about her waist. Yes, our quarters are in a bit of a sorry state as well. I want to check if there's a problem with the cleaning bots. That is the only possible reason I can imagine that the vacated quarters wouldn't have been prepared for us.
We set up Evekh's bed so he could nap, and I told Kyo I would send some bots as quickly as possible if we can figure out what's going on. She took a deep breath and turned toward the doors to her new domain. Shall we face the dragon? she asked, tugging her long tunic straight. [Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams) - Main Engineering]Judy nodded, acknowledging Saya's troubles. "I don't know if it's the bots or the operators," she replied. "We had a walk-in tub put in, for the sake of the ol' metal plate, and the tub was in, but for some reason they didn't go all the way and put the door on its hinges." She sighed gently. "Suffice it to say, my back would really prefer not to have to do that again," she summarized as she threw the jacket back on, not bragging too much about the relatively simple repair job. "Now, in we go."Stepping in, Judy wasn't exactly impressed by the scene, but she'd seen worse. It struck her more as apathy and laxness than the total mishegoss of the landing bay. If she was the incoming Chief, she'd announce her presence right now, but she'd let Saya make that call. The red collar and three pips made enough noise. "How soon are you planning to teach them the difference between a mountain and a manager?" she asked Saya quietly. Then, after a few seconds' pause, she adjusted her glasses and explained. "With a mountain, as you get closer, it appears bigger and bigger. With a manager, on the other hand, you realize she's really, really small."Judy resisted the temptation to pat Saya on the head and drive home the short joke, as she didn't want to pull all the embarrassing stops. "What first, people or the core?"[ Petty Officer Conor Lynch - Landing Pad C, Front Ear Station] "What's a Big Mac?" Conor asked curiously. The strange little fella did ask an interesting question, though. Was it short for something? "'Tis an unusual name for a ship, to be sure. But I don't often concern meself with the thinkings of the higher-ups." He tapped his temple. According to his ma, what he had inside was likely to be hollow. "Do ye need any help? I'm not doing much of anything here really, apart from talking about my new restaurant to folks hereabouts with a spud-loving look about 'em." [PO2 Dihiq, son of Kroka - Docking Pad C]Dihiq wasn't sure how to comment about the new restaurant, and beside, his bladder was weighing very heavily on him. "Hey. Do you know if they fixed the bathroom on this pad?" he asked. Front Ear Station. Deck 7. It had been one long journey, but Sven was looking forward to starting a new chapter in his life. A more permanent position as security upon this, uniquely named station. He had come at the personal request of Dr, Judith Eastman and he was happy to oblige. The large bodybuilder packed lightly. Years in the service fighting the Dominion taught him that. With nothing but a single small travel pack filled with an extra uniform and some off duty clothes that would double as his workout attire. He could get more clothes as needed. Dr. Eastman had been teaching him the art of investing and he had some small sources of passive income. Most of which he was saving to acquire more sources of passive income, but some was budgeted for other things to supplement his salary. He walked along the promenade, looking at all the shops when a particular one caught his eye. A potato bar and he smirked. Judy would be in there, if she was off duty. And so he entered and was not so surprised to see Max.. “Max!” He walked up to him. “How are you?” He cast his attention to the teen. “Hi Anna!”

[Sir Dugris "Doug Zaman - Landing Pad C]As the too-important senior officers moved by, Doug found someone who looked right for his pitch. Command division, Lieutenant's pips, air of self-importance about him: this was the perfect mark. The El-Aurian, floofy death machine on his shoulder, approached this officer. "Lieutenant, my name is Doug Zaman. Could I show you about the station?" he offered. He'd try to rope this fella in, but in stages. Right now, niceness was key. Harmon quickly exited the Mac as soon as it had docked and he was able to. He was still incensed by his reassignment, supposedly a promotion. He’d been sent to Front Ear, a name that made about as much sense as his reassignment, with the crew of the USS Mac, publicly he was listed as an Administrative Officer, but in reality he would be the new Intelligence Station Chief. Chief of what he wasn’t sure, he’d been told he had two staff members, an Ensign fresh from the academy and a Petty Officer Second Class. Deciding he needed a drink, Harmon went looking for a terminal to get directions from. However, he was beckoned by an older, well dressed man with some sort of furry animal on his shoulder, offering a tour. He sighed internally, not in the mood for pleasantries but quickly decided that perhaps a tour would allow him to procrastinate having to go to work. “Only if we go get a drink first. It’s been a long trip,” he said, his tone flat and neutral, not quite pleasant and friendly, but not rude or harsh or even particularly grumpy. “Leftenant Matthew Harmon,” he said with a forced smile as he extended his hand towards Doug.

[Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams) & Lt. Tyler Givens - Main Engineering]Judy slowly made a mental judgement of the Lieutenant. There seemed to be a bit of an attitude problem going on here, the kind of self-entitled attitude of young officers who hadn't faced an awful lot of real adversity. If this was the prevailing attitude, then they had work to do. "Judy Eastman, First Officer," Judy introduced herself, extending her right hand for a shake. She spoke those words quietly but confidently, displaying a self-confident awareness that she didn't need to be the loudest voice in order to be heard. Indeed, rather than intruding into others' space with her words, she tried to draw them in. "And you are?"Lieutenant Tyler Givens, ma'am. Assistant Chief Engineer," Tyler answered, hesitantly taking and shaking the extended, old hand. She wasn't sure what to make of this old, unusual, very old First Officer, but she knew not to get on her bad side. "Good to meet you, young lady," Judy answered, not critiquing the unimpressive handshake aloud. Instead, she retrieved her little notebook and pen and began to jot down notes. "Now, let's get on with it. I know the Chief has a few questions, and I happen to have a background in engineering myself." [Main Engineering - MCPO Ozu Saya] Saya eyed Givens and dipped her head slightly. Indeed, I do have a number of questions. The first of which is: why have all of the empty quarters not been cleaned and prepared for new residents? Both Commander Eastman's and mine are dirty and have things that have not been repaired or replaced as they should have been. Judging from this sampling, I can only assume that they are not the only ones. She kept her tone neutral, but her displeasure should have been evident. Givens cleared her throat and turned to glare over her shoulder, indicating to Saya that while this lieutenant might be nominally in charge, she didn't know what she was doing and certainly didn't have control of engineering. We've been having problems with the cleaning bots. She hesitated before continuing, And I guess the schedule's gotten messed up.Saya blinked once. Which schedule? The entire engineering staff schedule?Givens flushed deep red but nodded silently. Saya closed her eyes and took a deep breath. This was far worse than she'd imagined. She was going to have to have a look at the duty roster immediately. It looked like there were far too many people on duty at once, but they weren't assigned to specific tasks, so some things were being overlooked. Very well, priorities, Saya said. Lieutenant, find me all the maintenance requests that have come in since your previous chief left, then get the current duty roster and bring it to me. Meanwhile, Commander Eastman and I will have a look at the cleaning bots. She glanced at Judy with raised brows. Also, send a message to the entire engineering department that there will be a mandatory meeting at 0800 tomorrow with the new chief. I strongly advise that no one be late. Dismissed.Givens gulped and said, Yes, ma'am, in a choked voice. Saya didn't know if it was anger or some other emotion, but she also didn't care. This place had been severely mismanaged and there was no point in wasting time in bringing it back under control.

[Command Center - Commander Priscilla Parsinp] Parsinp's eyes narrowed at the attention shown by the captain for her precious crustaceans, unsure if her words were sincere. She'd never met anyone who cared like she did. Her officers... tolerated, at best. Parsinp had to do most of the upkeep herself, which did take the majority of her time every few days. They are my one joy in this hell-hole, she said flatly. And it's not much of a 'rotation' if some of us are not being rotated into other positions. There are at least three others that are being forced into retirement. They entered the command center where several officers were puttering about. There was an intense, whispered conversation going on to one side, its participants entirely absorbed as one seemed to be reading the other the riot act. No one really looked up as the pair arrived. There was a general sense of laziness as two officers shared coffees by the replicator and others lounged in their seats, hardly paying attention to their stations. The same film of dust pervaded this area as had been throughout the rest of the station. As she took in the behavior of her subordinates, she had a sudden uncomfortable feeling of inadequacy, for the first time seeing how everything might look to an outsider. CAPTAIN ON THE BRIDGE! she roared quite suddenly, startling one officer into falling off his chair, and one of those by the replicator into spilling her coffee. Parsinp glared around, meeting many pairs of wide, confused eyes. [ Felicity Ellis - Command Center, Front Ear Station] Felicity was surprised to hear of four officers being forced into early retirement. She doubted it was quite that simple, but she kept her own counsel this time, lest she aggravate the Commander further. She turned away from the other woman as the 'lift doors opened, curious gaze assessing the deck before her. She waited, watching, and didn't move again until Parsinp announced her with a roar that reverberated throughout the large room. Felicity noted the pair engaged in a heated discussion off to one side, the others gathered around the proverbial water cooler, and the altogether lax atmosphere of the Command center. She had always encouraged a sense of freedom from formality amongst the Sierra Operations crew, but this... This was borderline dangerous. Under normal circumstances, Felicity might find the scene that unfolded before them amusing. Alas, the disorganisation served only as confirmation that Front Ear had serious problems. For a moment the only sound she could hear was the drip - drip - drip of the spilled coffee. "As you were," she told them, her tone just a touch wry. *** [Promenade, Deck 7 - Front Ear] Caroline was momentarily distracted by the large amount of aquariums filled with lobsters. The poor things with their taped claws always made her sad. It wasn’t their fault they were trapped in tiny glass boxes. Someone decided their lives for them and put them in a place where they couldn’t be free and grow. Some part of her felt an empathy with their plight. She too, had been living a life someone else had chosen and convinced her it was the only place for her. Careful not to leave any smudges or fingerprints on the glass, she leaned in close to a tank and whispered. ”You will have liberation, my friends. Rise up and fight the power. Soon we will shake off your shackles of oppression.” She held a finger to her lips, conspiratorially, before rejoining her friends. ”Chrisss,” Caroline’s voice was a loud stage whisper. She clumsily tried to tug down his oversized body so she could whisper in his ear. ”I know what we’re gonna do later.” With her hands, she made snappy lobster claw motions, and gave a very serious nod. As if that would be enough to make her intentions for a lobster heist clear. Message delivered, she looked over and saw Niamh talking to two more giant men. Seriously, why was everyone so tall? She lowered her sunglasses for a better look, and appraisingly decided they’d make a most attractive addition to their group. With a slink in her walk, she joined the lieutenant. ”Yes! Join us! The more the merrier! Your friend is definitely invited too, Big Green.” The drink had loosened her tongue, so she was a bit more willing to say things aloud that normally she’d only think. Her attention shifted to the Orion’s friend. ”That is a lot of leather. Are you a stripper? That’d be really cool. Wait… Do strippers wear leather? “ She put a hand over her mouth, thinking intently. The long loose curls of her ponytail shifted off her shoulder as her head tilted. "OH. I wasn’t trying to be rude. You would probably just make a really good stripper. Ok, I’m going to shut up now.” Caroline looked to Niamh or Chris for rescue. Sometimes she was just really bad at talking to people. [Sovaan - Deck 7, Promenade, Front Ear]
Sovaan had quietly wondered if he was talking too much; this was far more than he usually did, so he wasn't sure of the etiquette. It was easier being the quiet one, especially in a group. He would admit that talking to another man, another pilot, or even just about ships, did tend to make him loosen up somewhat. That seemed to go well most of the time, yet he was still figuring out all the niceties, and humans only tended to be more confusing. He had been raised amongst them, and they still didn't make sense. His train of thought was broken as he heard his name called, in an accent distinctive enough that he was already responding before he'd fully turned to look. "Hello, Lieutenant." Of course, they were heading into the casino, too. Well, now he was certainly under pressure to perform. He had already opened up to Jett that he was relatively good at blackjack (and he assumed other forms of gambling were the same kind of risk-taking), so it would be spilled even if he didn't mention it now. He did raise an eyebrow as Niamh made an odd expression while calling the other man his friend - he seemed a bit more bemused, than anything else. Before he could even respond further, Caroline Riordan had already joined them and was insisting the two joined as well. He cleared his throat, hoping to try and at least relax somewhat to reply, but hearing the odd nickname for him made his brow furrow. "Big-" Sovaan decided quickly that he was better off not asking. "..Yes, I'm sure he would like to." Sovaan's eyes widened as she began talking about strippers, and decided he was best hurrying the relaxing up, before she said something else. "Why don't we just go in right now, then?" He began moving towards the casino and tried to guide Caroline to it as well, more concerned about whether or not she'd say something else she might be embarrassed about the next day. Sovaan was hardly an expert, but he'd seen tipsy officers before. They were supposed to get settled in, he supposed. It seemed like he was going to have no choice about that.
[Promenade] [...] As he was distracted by the brunette person that invited him to the area of the Casino. He noticed another couple a brunette woman and a man. Clearly, by their breath, he figured that they were intoxicated. He wondered how early they began drinking since it was still the morning. He muttered to himself “I guess you can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning”. He hoped that they did not listen to him. As they meant the comment on the Leather, Jett shrugged it off. “Thanks for the compliment. I’m sure the Luitenant here is an aspiring Chip N’ Dales dancer with Patrick Swayze”. As he finished his statement he tapped Sovaal shoulder with a smile as he wanted to wish him luck. He thought for a second how to respond to the Leather and responded “I’m no expert in being a stripper, but I am pretty sure clothing is optional. I’m confident that their uniform is no uniform. But that’s ok”. Jett did comment as he figured that walking pantless and shirtless in the Station would cause him trouble. Jett nodded at the direction of the Casino. He walked and observed everyone. He assumed they all knew each other. He thought it would be good to present himself. Hello everyone, the name is Jett.” . Tom purposefully omitted his name as he figured that all of them were Starfleet, and they might recognize who he was and might be awkward really fast. He would wait for them to introduce themselves. As they were all strangers. He was looking forward to make some credits by playing a couple of hands. But for the moment introductions where in order. [ Lieutenant Niamh O'Leary - Twilight Casino, Promenade] Niamh bestowed a big smile on the big pilot. She was glad to see him chatting and acting a little more relaxed now that he was off-shift. "Just call me Niamh," she told him with a wave of her hand, "Or O'Leary, if ye must. Seeing as I'm fixing to gamble and make merry, I don't reckon 'lieutenant' is necessary."What followed then was confusing chatter from Riordan about leather and stripping... Followed by the man who appeared to be the object of a new crush, speaking in bizarre tongues. When Sovaan suggested that they get the show on the road, the Chief Flight Officer jumped on it. "Let's go lose our shirts playing cards, before certain people out here lose their pants." She eyed the leather-clad man, and then Riordan. "C'mon, ye 'lil divil."She flashed a grin at the younger woman; her words intended to be affectionate rather than harsh. She'd reached the casino's entrance, with its latinum columns and black marble floors, when Sovaan's friend introduced himself. "Hello, Jettricia the Stripper. I hope yer game is as tight as yer trousers."Then she cackled and skipped off to the nearest blackjack table.

Sure, the First Officer had her opinions about how things ought to be done - she always did - but she'd undermined Saya's self-esteem enough with the height joke. She noted, commented, and observed, laying line upon line of smudged leftie handwriting. Once Saya was done, Judy returned her notebook to the handbag and got out a PADD with a schematic of the place. "Cleaning bots are down this way," she informed Saya, as she headed to the left, around the core. Soon, they reached a secluded nook, empty except for some bots. Judy pondered for a moment before her next rhetorical step. "My dear, what's your game plan for cleaning this up?" she asked Saya quietly, drawing as she often did on language from the sporting world.

[Promenade - Twilight Casino - Harvey] Harvey sat contentedly in a dark corner, tendrils waving gently in the slight breeze created by a vent overhead. He’d been moved here by someone and now was simply waiting for someone or something to pass close enough for him to snag with long, sticky fingers. There was a group approaching. They might come close enough. Harvey stretched out some of his tendrils experimentally managing to lightly brush against one or more of their arms. If any members of the group peer into the gloom, they would see a five-foot-tall plant in a silver pot. It had a thick, white central stalk with a couple dozen pinkish arms extending from the top. At the ends of these arms were something like blue flower blooms, but instead of petals, it had dozens of slim tendrils that seemed to move independently. {Harvey}

[Leanna - The Blue Beta Bar & Grill, Promenade]
Moving the various boxes and cases, hadn't taken Lea very long to put into their allocated rooms, before she had decided to take a break. Her reasoning being that they weren't going to be moving ever again and she didn't want to be told off, for overdoing it. This was already a stressful situation and even Lea knew not to push herself too much, besides everything would look better, once their furniture had arrived.
So with that in mind and not wanting to be in the way, the Betazoid, thought it would be the perfect time to check out her new business. Although Jack had kindly offered to watch Ariana, so she wouldn't get bored and it also allowed her daughter to spend time with his seven children. The twins Ciara and Roisin were the same age, although that hadn't stopped the older children from wanting to fuss over the younger ones. So Lea knew that Ari would have a fun time, like she always did, in fact the three year old, had barely registered that her mother had left, so Lea didn't feel too guilty about leaving her.
Besides this way, it meant that she could get some work done, without worrying about keeping Ari entertained and she was looking forward to seeing it in the flesh, rather than via the subspace calls, by those who had gone ahead to have everything ready on time. In fact they had already began to open on limited hours, until the big grand opening party, which was still in the planning stages.
Stepping inside, Lea took a look round and just beamed happily, as it was better than she could of imagined. Happy that they had gone with the two floors, the top one, fitted with two bars, a chill-out area and pool tables. The one below, had a large bar, dining area, large kitchen, seating area and a dancefloor with stage, as well as Lea's office, storage areas and staff area. That was important as Divine Temptation would be arriving shortly to take up residence. It was all falling into place and as she was greeted by Pieter, was led to the bar area, so she could sample a non alcoholic cocktail, aptly named the Frontier Folly and some of the bar snacks.
It was a good feeling to be off her feet and taking a break, plus she felt as if she was home and could see this being just a popular as her bar had been on Sierra.

When she was asked for her recommendation, she paused to consider the two new patrons before answering. "Well, this young lady here has The Great Big Irish Breakfast Spud." She gestured helpfully toward the redhead's loaded plate. "All of the ingredients of an Irish breakfast, on a spud. Egg, bacon, baked beans, Irish pork sausage and two twice-baked Rooster potatoes. 'Tis a hearty choice, but not for everyone.""We also have our healthy choice -" Peggy made the same unimpressed face as she had earlier when she'd mentioned the wholesome option, "Of our loaded kale spud. But perhaps, for ye, as there appears to be plenty of incoming palates of a discerning nature this morning, I'd recommend my Classic. One of me baked spuds, filled with steamed broccoli, melted, aged Gruyere, finely diced tomatoes and just a sprinkling of chives."She was fully committed to the description of her Classic Spud, but that didn't mean she wouldn't notice the giant of a man approaching. "Howeya," she greeted, a little cautiously. "If it's carb-loadin' yer lookin' for, then ye came to the right place, my lad."*** [ Brooke - Private Quarters, Front Ear Station] His playful comment regarding where his suit would look better, only added to the fire that was building up inside, his wife to be, as he then ducked slightly and his warm and inviting hands, found the backs of her thighs. This elicited a pleasant response from Brooke, as she then wrapped her long legs around his waist and held onto him. A smile played against his lips as he returned his love, their continued kisses, tender, passionate and very much needed after their long time apart. To some three months might not seem that long, but for Brooke, it had been torture and as Greg guided her towards the bedroom, wanted to make the most of their reunion and the man she loved more than anything. " I've missed you so much" she murmured, as she pulled back to catch her breath, taking in every detail of him, before the bedroom door opened and they disappeared into it. [ Gregory Ellis - Private Quarters] Some time later...Greg's fingertips trailed along Brooke's soft skin, from the back of her neck, her spine, and further downward until his hand disappeared underneath the soft, single blanket on their new bed. He lay on his arm, facing his fiance, leisurely taking his time as he studied her face, recommitting everything to memory. "So tell me everything I've missed."The pair had kept in contact as much as possible while he'd been on assignment on the Leeds, but so much of their days and lives would have been lost, little details missing from their regular communications. "Still want to marry me?" He quipped with a quick grin, his fingers trailing upward again. *** [ Petty Officer Conor Lynch - Landing Pad C, Front Ear Station] "What's a Big Mac?" Conor asked curiously. [ Petty Officer Conor Lynch - Landing Pad C, Front Ear Station] Conor Lynch peered at Dihiq, his face scrunched up with confusion. "Uh... no idea, pal. One way to find out?"

[ Thea - The Spudriq Potato Bar, Promenade] At Anna's comment about the food that Thea had chosen, the CMO looked towards the teen and smiled, as she then answered her. " It's very delicious and definitely the best baked potato that I've ever tasted, I'm so glad that I decided to follow my stomach, rather than get to work, straightaway".Thea was always one to be honest, especially when realising her own shortcomings and how she could come across. Although with Anna and to some degree Max, she felt at ease and that she wouldn't make a complete fool of herself in front of them. As Max then spoke with the owner, regarding the tea and what she recommended, Thea returned her attention to her meal, taking another bite, then a sip of her tea. Although did pause from continuing as a man wearing security gold, approached and greeted Max, giving the man a polite and friendly smile, in the process, before acknowledging Peggy as she answered Max and spoke to the newcomer. ******** [ Gregory Ellis - Private Quarters] Some time later...Greg's fingertips trailed along Brooke's soft skin, from the back of her neck, her spine, and further downward until his hand disappeared underneath the soft, single blanket on their new bed. [ Brooke - Private Quarters] Some time Later ...It wasn't difficult, nor did Brooke refrain from responding verbally and softly to the way Greg used his fingertips to trail along her skin and further. Loving the reaction that it always caused, whenever he touched her and how she could never have enough of when they got to be alone like this. Even as he then looked at her, she couldn't help but look back and grin happily, before he asked her to tell him everything that he had missed. That was understandable, given how their subspace calls, couldn't always cover everything and enjoyed being able to fill him in on the details, she wasn't able to share. " Mmm let me think .... Lea decided on a name for the baby and is going to call him Aven, Dad's working on some kind of surprise for us, but he won't even give me a hint .....The rest of her sentence was cut off as Greg then quipped about her still wanting to marry her, with that sexy grin of his, before his fingers began to move upwards again. This elicited another pleasant response from Brooke as she answered him, this time a little more breathlessly. " Oh yes, in fact, I may of brought my wedding dress with me".That was her reversing the tease as the specially made for her, custom gown, was currently on the grav sled, packaged carefully and given top priority.

[NPC - Sir Dugris "Doug" Zaman - Landing Pad C]Doug had a feeling, from the young man's tone, that he wasn't enthused. However, the offer of a drink was sure to alleviate that. Doug took the hand to shake, shook it firmly, and then released. "You're in luck, since there's a new bar that's opening here today. Might even have a good sale going on."PooDoo, from her perch on Doug's shoulder, sniffed at the other gentleman from afar, as Doug turned out towards the turbolift, leading Harmon along. [Blue Beta Bar and Grill]Doug entered the spacious gastropub, taking in the surroundings. He'd seen it under construction, and here it was now. "Greetings!" he announced his entrance, beelining for the bar. "I'll have one old-fashioned for myself, and one muffin for my furry companion."Then, he looked over to Harmon. "Drinks on me," he proclaimed. [ Petty Officer Conor Lynch - Landing Pad C, Front Ear Station] Conor Lynch peered at Dihiq, his face scrunched up with confusion. "Uh... no idea, pal. One way to find out?" [NPC - PO2 Dihiq, son of Kroka - Landing Pad C]Dihiq shrugged. "Guess I'll go see," he proclaimed quietly, and then darted off towards that bathroom. His poor, poor irritable bladder.

“Hi Anna!” [ Margaret "Peggy" Lynch - The Spudriq Potato Bar, Promenade, Front Ear Station] With a nod of approval, Peggy scrawled into her notebook. [NPCs - Max Williams & Anna Eastman Williams - The Spudriq Potato Bar, Promenade]Anna cracked a little smile at Thea's comment, readying a little teen sarcasm bomb. "I'm not allowed to say that, not with Dad in the room," she pointed out, eyeing her father. "Certainly not," Max agreed. Then the lady came back and introduced some options. The breakfast spud sounded so tempting, but... bacon. He let out the smallest of sighs, aware of this sacrifice he'd made taking a practicing Jewish wife and raising Jewish children with her. At least the classic spud sounded good. And then, in came a mountain of a Security Officer they'd all but adopted. "Sven. Good morning," Max acknowledged, and then turned to order. "The Classic spud sounds delicious. I'll have that."But, of course, he wasn't the only one living the kosher life. "Can I have the breakfast spud with no bacon and no sausage?" Anna asked.

[Sovaan - Deck 7, Promenade, Front Ear]
[Twilight Casino, Promenade - Front Ear] A mischievous grin spread across Caroline’s face, pleased the cute stripper man had realized she’d meant to compliment him. Quickly, she patted down the pockets of her bright red hooded sweater, and found her handy mint gum. As discreetly as she could manage, she unwrapped a stick and popped it in her mouth. She might have been on a marathon of a bender, but no reason she couldn’t be presentable. Eager to check out the casino, she let Sovaan and Niamh lead the way, and giggled when the latter called her a devil. Caroline cocked her head to the side, and looked to Jett the stripper man. ”Jett… that’s a nice name. First name, last name orrrr…. Stage name?” She drew out the last bit, and gave a cheeky wink with it. There was no telling if she actually thought he was an exotic dancer or just enjoyed teasing. At this point, she wasn’t even sure, but the man was cute. ”My name’s Caroline, but my friends call me Cara. By the way, who or what’s a ‘Chippin Dale’?” Not entirely waiting for an answer, her attention drifted over to something brightly colored and moving that was now in her field of vision. [Promenade - Twilight Casino - Harvey] Harvey sat contentedly in a dark corner, tendrils waving gently in the slight breeze created by a vent overhead. He’d been moved here by someone and now was simply waiting for someone or something to pass close enough for him to snag with long, sticky fingers. There was a group approaching. They might come close enough. Harvey stretched out some of his tendrils experimentally managing to lightly brush against one or more of their arms. If any members of the group peer into the gloom, they would see a five-foot-tall plant in a silver pot. It had a thick, white central stalk with a couple dozen pinkish arms extending from the top. At the ends of these arms were something like blue flower blooms, but instead of petals, it had dozens of slim tendrils that seemed to move independently. {Harvey} Caroline wandered closer to the plant, enchanted by the colors and movement. Her hand stretched out to touch it, and in her inebriated state, she wasn’t even off-put when a tendril reached out and wrapped around her thin wrist. ”Well, aren’t you a pretty boy,” She cooed, her voice softening to a tone usually reserved for small children and pets. ”What are you doing all alone out here by yourself? Hey, guys, I think he likes me! Well, whatever he is.”She waved her free hand at her friends, and turned to look at them, completely unconcerned.

[Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams) - Main Engineering]Judy kept to her notebook as she let Saya run the department. [Main Engineering - MCPO Ozu Saya] Saya's lips blew out as she released an explosive breath that she'd been holding back. Handle one issue at a time, she said fervently. If they have not yet received any other complaints about dirty quarters, they soon will be.
I suspect the problem with the cleaning bots is either in the programming, or them simply not being sent to do their job; however, we should check the devices themselves. They appear to be in quite poor repair themselves, she said doubtfully, looking down at the small army of robots. Stepping up to the wall console that was the hub for all the cleaning bots on the station, Saya called up the scheduling program and immediately shook her head. They aren't even scheduled. I'll put in your quarters to begin immediately. Perhaps Max can let us know if they come? Then we can figure out if some need repairs or programming modified.

We already did the repairs, and I like to do my own cleaning," she countered. "There's nothing like vacuuming up a carpet, or scrubbing a toilet, to keep the ego in check."Judy had achieved enough, in over a half-century, to sustain a humongous ego. "Let's start slow, start with your quarters. We can follow them along, take notes on their performance, and then proceed. Keep the process as scientific and rigorous as we can."Judy cupped a hand over one side of her mouth. "It'll also give us a chance to talk about the root cause," she added, in an almost conspiratorial whisper. By now, Judy was almost certain this place needed a serious injection of order and paperwork.

[Command Center - Commander Priscilla Parsinp]Parsinp glared around at the officers as they slowly turned back to their stations (or picked themselves up off the floor). The young captain hadn't really said why she wanted to come to the command center, so she decided a small address might be in order. Clearing her throat, Parsinp strode with as much dignity as her stature allowed to stand in front of the large viewscreen on one wall, where most of the officers could see her without turning. This is Captain Ellis, the one who'll be taking over here soon. I suppose we'll both be here until the handover is completed. Just...cooperate with the new officers, she said, unable to speak without gritting her teeth as she told her people to behave themselves. Parsinp hated giving up her control, but she could be a realist on occasion, very rare occasions. She'd done her arguing and complaining to the admiralty - sending the Mac full of replacement officers had been their reply to her most recent, vitriolic message. Her notice of honorable discharge had come right after the brief communique informing her of the ship's imminent arrival. Parsinp had known then that it was hopeless, but it didn't mean she had to accept the hostile takeover gladly.
