2 hours later... Soon enough, both ships were docked, on opposite landing pads of Front Ear Station. The Nyberrites had done at least this wisely. While Harmon's Heroes had devised their plan together, the Commissioner had ultimately dictated one to her people. The helmsman, Lt. th'Zhaar, was to attend the local bar, the Dancing Leprechaun, with Mabel to monitor him. Both were to be sent there in anticipation of finding Harmon or one of his people, to gather intel. Meanwhile, the Commissioner herself would tend to placing an explosive, with Aune and Ozu yanked into that goal: the former for competence, the latter as a sort of punishment for her rudeness.
[Commissioner Judith Eastman - Cargo Bay, ISS Determined]Judy cast her eyes between Aune, Ozu, and the bomb that had been produced. It wasn't too big, and it didn't involve antimatter. "Now, we'll need to get it onto their ship," she said, needling them for a course of action. They certainly couldn't use the Determined's own transporters, not without getting caught.
Tag Ozu Saya and Sven Aune [1st Lt. Mabel Eastman - Docking Pad B, Front Ear Station]"Let's go, loser," Mabel ordered the helmsman, motioning at the turbolift. She really didn't care for this job, but she did as her adoptive mother, the Commissioner, ordered.
Tag Shavan Th'zhaar [ Ozu Saya - Cargo Bay - ISS Determined] They had opened the shuttlebay doors, so Saya had parked her small ship and collected her cargo in pouches from their many secret compartments all over the vessel. She'd negotiated the sale of several gems and some information (nothing useful to the immediate situation, she said with false regret), and learned of the plan to assassinate Matt Harmon. Her face had remained impassive throughout, the serious business tempering her usual snark, but internally she was wondering how she'd get word to Harmon to watch out. Then her bitchiness had offered her the 'opportunity' to help get a bomb aboard Harmon's ship, and Saya knew that would be her chance. Sucking a breath through her teeth, Saya gave Judy a sly look and grinned. You know, I get around, and it happens that I've found an in with Harmon's people. Gems make good bribes, you see, and useful for buying supplies or whatever. It's been a way to get better intel, ultimately.
Anyway, I think they might let me bring my ship aboard theirs if I say I have a good deal for them, maybe offer some info. Once I'm inside their security perimeter, I can beam the bomb wherever you want it and blast out of there before they can react. She shrugged nonchalantly. My ship is fast and has good shielding.
And if I fail, well, I guess I'll be out of your hair. She offered a sweet smile to the older woman, but her tone was sarcastic.

[2nd Lt Shavan Th’zhaar - Bridge, ISS Determined -> The Dancing Leprechaun] Shavan guided the ship in towards Front Ear station, while the Commissioner delegated tasks and formed the beginnings of a plan. Explosives this, Harmon that, at some point he stopped paying attention to the parts that didn’t involve him. Two hours later, with the Determined docked, there was little else for him to do on the bridge. Still, there were worse tasks to be assigned to than going to the bar, which likely would have been his first stop on the station regardless. And so he followed Mabel. Shavan didn’t much care for his escort, or her attempts to sound authoritative. He rolled his eyes, and pushed past her into the turbolift. “Of course, whatever you say, sweetheart.” he replied in a mocking tone. “Try to keep up.” Exiting the lift, he pushed quickly through the Promenade. Admittedly, an Andorian and the Comissioner’s daughter weren’t the most inconspicuous people around, if anyone recognized them, but there was little to be done about that. They arrived at the Dancing Leprechaun, a rather unimpressive establishment. Slipping inside, Shavan leaned against one corner of the bar, looking around to get a read of the room while waiting for the bartender. [ Seamus - The Dancing Leprechaun, Front Ear] His sources within the command deck had informed Seamus that both the Determined and the Phoenix had docked and now it was time for the Landlord to find out if Harmon would try to seek out the informant that had been feeding them valuable intel for the last couple of months. Of course he had kept his identity a secret as he wasn't some naïve first timer, thinking that they could bring down the Commissioner and her wannabes easily. No it took a lot of time and preparation and he wasn't about to fail, not when he had such a vested interest in Eastman's demise. So as he served drinks and continued being the genial host, he was constantly watching and waiting. However he wasn't completely surprised when the hybrid Th’zhaar walked in along with Eastman's adopted daughter Mabel. No this was to be expected as no doubt Eastman wanted to gather her own intelligence on the Rebellion and catch them out. That wasn't going to happen in his bar as he finished wiping down the surface, before throwing the towel over his shoulder and approached the pair. " Greetings and welcome to The Dancing Leprechaun, what can I get you both?". [NPC - 1st Lt. Mabel Eastman - The Dancing Leprechaun]Hardly as recognizable as her adoptive mother, Mabel was still known to those who had worked closely with, or sought dirt against, her mother, as well as those - such as Matt Harmon - whom she had caught in the act with her mother. For this reason, she was armed, with a disruptor pistol on her belt and others concealed. She looked between the bartender and the Andorian, and took charge. "We will have water, thank you," she ordered for the both of them, not intending to get drunk on the job or to be poisoned easily.

"Always good to keep my piloting skills sharp," the Commissioner added, her words betraying, if only subtly, her pleasure at this novel idea she'd thought of. It was a security measure, controlling the getaway car, but it was also a show of control and dominance.

[Doctor Paawin Riyo ("Butch") - Front Ear Station]The Bajoran listened quietly as Harmon spoke about where to find his informant. He was grateful to have the Orion with them, as an extra - more skilled - pair of eyes. There were very few of Eastman's people that Butch would recognize, as his position in the Front usually kept him behind the scenes. He was caught a little off guard as his boss suddenly changed pace and direction, and he fell back in place beside him before following the man's gaze. The woman he didn't remember seeing before, but wasn't that the Andorian that had been on the bridge when Eastman intercepted his family's ship? His blue eyes sparked as Harmon ran through their options. "Confronting them sounds like a lot of fun..." He agreed. Of course they'd have to be careful. Eastman's people were never to be trusted, regardless of the situation. Thankfully even though Butch wasn't a trained fighter, he could hold his own in a scrap, and he always had a few surprises up his sleeves. And in his pockets. And tucked into his belt. And... Well, you get the idea. To top it all off, for once they were the ones with the greater number, and the element of surprise. He wasn't too inclined to let that opportunity go.

Tag Ozu Saya , Sven Aune [ Ozu Saya - Cargo Bay - ISS Determined] Saya held very still when Aune brought that crazy massive claw of his under her chin. Wouldn't do to accidentally impale herself. Before she could respond to the man's disgusting offer to buy Opal, Eastman jumped in with a demand for civility, and inviting both herself and the mountain along. Her face barely twitched. One of them, she could probably have handled, but not both together. Saya wasn't sure how Opal would feel about her plan, so she didn't want to presume that the Horta would help. First of all, she said in her most severe tone, taking a couple of steps back from Sven. Don't talk about my friend like that. She's not for sale.
Second, are you sure you should both come along? Seems awfully risky. Also, I don't think the Bijeta has the weight capacity for this stislak. Saya jerked her thumb at the man and gave him a cheeky smile, covering for her nerves at the whole situation.

[ Shavan Th’zhaar - The Dancing Leprechaun] Shavan looked at Mabel with disdain. Of course, he had no intention of getting too drunk, either. At least not before learning something worth reporting back. But who went into a bar and ordered only a glass of water? She could at least try to pretend they weren’t there to spy. For the moment he chose not to argue, and simply gave the Terran bartender a curt nod of agreement. He took a seat at the bar, in a manner suggesting being right at home, and looked around. So far there was no sign of Harmon, or any of his known associates. But that didn’t mean there was nothing to learn here. Shavan twitched his antennae, picking up the various conversations going on around them. Time to observe and wait. He had a feeling it wouldn't be long. “Come now, we’re here to enjoy ourselves, aren’t we?” he said quietly to Mabel, gesturing to a nearby empty seat. His icy tone suggested the opposite of enjoyment, as he watched the bartender work. Tag Leanna Mazal Judith Eastman

[ Seamus - The Dancing Leprechaun] The way that Eastman's supposed daughter looked at him, before taking charge and ordering water for her and the Andorian hybrid, didn't get much of a reaction from Seamus. At least not on the outside as he envisioned, killing her slowly with the poison he kept hidden in strategic places for when he needed it as a way out. Of course to both of his newest customers, he would be friendly and shower them with Irish charm, which he then did as Th’zhaar took a seat. " Certainly, I'll get that for you now" he replied, leaving them momentarily to fetch to tall glasses of freshly chilled water. Pouring it expertly, Seamus then placed both glasses down on the counter as Th’zhaar spoke to the other Eastman. Clearly there was no love lost between the pair which was like music to his ears at the thought of discontent in the Commissioner's ranks. " There we go, just shout if you need anything else" He said as he left them to it.

[Matt Harmon - Ready Room, Phoenix]Fortunately, Butch didn't grumble too much at the restrictions Matt placed and seemed on board with the plan. Kova too was on board, and was confident she could deal with the sensor issue. "Sounds good, it shouldn't be too hard to get close enough to clone a communicator given we are invited here," he nodded in agreement. As Kova spoke about the Andorian, Matt noticed the slight hint of emotion in her voice, no doubt recalling what had been taken from her by the Commissioner. He had never promised he could get her daughter back, but he had honestly promised to do everything in his power to get her back, and prevent the same thing from happening to anyone else. "We'll wait until the Commissioner is aboard the station. It'll be harder for them to respond efficiently without her able to call all the shots. I'm not sure who they'll leave behind though, so be careful and contact me if you need to extraction or reinforcements." "Right then, that settles it. Kova, you and Chloe can take care of the spacewalk. Kova's in charge, you can grab anyone else you think you could use," Kova was definitely one of the most competent and loyal members of the Front. She was perfect for this task. Chloe too was skilled with computers and would come in handy once they were on board. "Butch, you're with me on the station. We need to keep up appearances and at least pretend to be interested in the summit. We also need to make contact with some of the sympathisers reportedly on the station." He waited a moment, drumming his fingers on the table for a second before adding, "Any objections, concerns, questions?"
Tag: Kova Sh'qaleq , Jovireh Velal [Phoenix, Ready Room - Doctor Paawin Riyo ("Butch")][...] Any objections, concerns, questions? Negative. Not from him at least. And he had work to do if he was to make sure the away team would be ready for their boarding operation. "Sounds like as good a plan as any," he replied simply. Well, no, that wasn't quite right. It sounded a lot better than many of the plans they could have come up with. But that wasn't the question, now was it? "I'll get to work on the sedative. Kova, please bring your team down to the medlab before you all suit up. I might be able to mix together something else to assist you." Every good neural toxin came with an antidote. It wouldn't do for one of their own people to end up incapacitated on the enemy ship. A simple injection should do the trick, provided they were able to complete their assignment before it wore off. [Chloe Hudson - Phoenix]
"So, what's the plan? What do we need to do to mess up their sensors?" the young woman asked. She liked Kova, she was good at what she knew and Chloe did like taking the opportunities to learn from the Andorian. Chloe was a street urchin. A former slave who managed to escape. She never knew her parents and never really had any friends or connections to speak of until signing up for Matt Harmon's merry band of rebels. She didn't really care about their mission, nor did she have any personal vendetta like many in the Front, what she really craved was a sense of belonging, something she had found here. "We going to steal something? I'm good at that," she grinned. [ Kova Sh'qaleq - Phoenix ] Kova smirked at Chloe's eagerness. It was certainly the motivation that was needed for this sort of op, because there certainly wasn't a guarantee that they'd actually make it out of this alive, especially if it went sideways. With what Kova had in mind, the bright side of things would have them end up in Nyberrite holding cell on the way to a penal colony. The worst case scenario was that they'd end up as yet another example for the Commissioner to share with the masses. Kova didn't put it past her to mount heads on spikes, bolted to the hull of her ship. "The plan is we're going shopping," Kova stated. She tapped a console and brought a map of Front Ear Station onto the screen. "And I do believe we'll be applying our five-fingered discount." Kova zoomed in on a particular portion of the map. "This docking area is typically reserved for the commercial transports, but there's a lot of shady business that happens down there as well. Black market deals, prostitution, even some gambling. Most of the Nyberrite officers with this beat get a lot of credits to blink at the right time. This is where we find our bargain.""The guards in this area will have access to the suits and airlocks nearby," Kova stated. "They'll also have access to the sensor net, so that we can create a little blind spot." Kova sighed. "This would also be where the commissioner's stooges would take on a little private stock without paying custom taxes the Nyberrites typically charge. We can definitely clone a comm unit from there." Kova pulled a little device into view. "It has a ten meter radius, so we'll be able to keep a little distance." Kova looked over at Chloe, wondering if she had gotten it all. "So, did I miss anything?" It was partially a quiz, but at the same time, it was possible that Kova had overlooked something. "Plus, we've got these sedatives, Butch gave us should anything go sideways." Which wasn't saying much, since this plan was already at full tilt.

Mabel Eastman - The Dancing Leprechaun]Mabel wasn't 100% business, 100% of the time, unlike her adoptive mother. She could have fun. After sitting down beside the Lieutenant, she looked to the barkeep, and figured she might as well enjoy herself right now. As she had done earlier on the bridge, she blew the man a flirty kiss, just to mess with him... sure, he had looks, but he was beneath her. She turned back to th'Zhaar, waiting for him to drink first. "You have fun on your own dime," she sniped after a healthy delay, having thought of a suitably Terran, suitably antiquated euphemism. Glancing over her shoulder, she seemed to see a familiar face.

[Matt Harmon - Front Ear Station Corridor -> The Dancing Leprechaun] "Indeed," Matt smiled as Butch voiced his support for having a little fun. It was unlikely their enemies would be so bold as to outright attack them in the middle of the Nyberrite's stations promenade, and besides, they outnumbered them. He led the way into the bar, and noticed Mabel had seen him. He waved at her and approached. "Funny seeing you here," he said sarcastically to Mabel. "I see your old woman is still too cheap to let her slaves have any degree of fun," he said glanding between Mabel and the Andorian, having noticed the water. "You know, my crew isn't prohibited from imbibing. I trust them to be responsible and recognise they need to relax now and then," he said the Andorian. "Tell you what, in the spirt of these negotiations I'll get you a real drink. What do you want?" he glanced at the menu and stroked his beard, "I'll have an Apple Cider, how about you two?" he asked his companions. He didn't drink too heavily and probably wouldn't have were he not in the process of stirring up the Commissioner's daughter. An Apple Cider was a suitably soft drink for the occasion. "Saurian Brandy," said Raggir.[ Kova Sh'qaleq - Phoenix ] Kova smirked at Chloe's eagerness. [Chloe Hudson - Phoenix]Chloe grinned eagerly at the mention of the usage of their five-fingered discount, it was a chance for her to prove her use. She listened intently to the plan, and carefully examined the map, committing it to the memory. She always had a good memory, it was one of her best assets. Remembering little bits of information here and there had helped get her out of trouble many times. "Got it," she nodded, once Kova was done, taking one of the sedatives Butch had made for them. "Just let me know what you need me to do, I'm ready. Should we go?" she said somewhat impatiently.

[Doctor Paawin Riyo ("Butch") - Front Ear Station]As Harmon strode through the bar, Butch was right beside him, excited at the opportunity to cause a little bit of mischief. Following the other man's lead, he placed himself next to the woman, leaning casually against the bar. "Andorian Ale!" he ordered at Harmon's offer to buy a round. He'd never had Andorian Ale before, but he just couldn't resist teasing the man a few seats down. "Let me guess, your boss expects you to be all business when you're on the ship, too. Dreadful way to live. Do you even remember how to have fun?" While he had been speaking to both Eastman's people, his gaze focused solely on the woman beside him as he continued. "You're always welcome to come back to my quarters if you want a refresher..." He gave the woman a sly wink and suggestive grin, though he silently hoped that Harmon at least knew he wasn't serious. [2nd Lt Shavan Th’zhaar - The Dancing Leprechaun] Shavan didn’t take his eyes off the bartender as he poured the water. Even so, he didn’t touch the glass yet. “I do intend to.” he replied to Mabel. And just like that, they were joined by Harmon and two of his lackeys. Well, step one, find them, was complete. That was easier than he thought it’d be. Now, to keep them talking. “Of course we can have fun.” Shavan replied icily to Harmon and the Bajoran. “And our boss is neither here, nor concerned about such inconsequential matters.” It would be impolite to refuse such a generous offer in the name of peace. “Make that two Andorian ales.” he added to the bartender. A simple, predictable choice for the occasion. He refused to react to the doctor’s overenthusiastic order of the same drink, and ignored the other Orion. When the drinks arrived, Shavan held his up. “A toast.. to successful negotiations.”

[ Seamus - The Dancing Leprechaun] Just when Seamus thought things couldn't get more interesting even when he zoned out Mabel's response to her Andorian counterpart. The very person he had been waiting for approached with two others and engaged the Commissioner's lackey's in conversation, well if you could call it that, approving of the jibes and teasing that was coming from Harmon and the Doctor that was with them. Even when Shavan stared at him initially, he didn't flinch or engage him other than listen as orders were given for an apple cider, Saurian brandy and two Andorian ales, once Th’zhaar decided to prove that Harmon was wrong about Eastman. To Seamus it was all just pomp and show and at the same time, knew that there was little he could do to draw Harmon's attention without exposing who he was. No for now he would just serve drinks and wait, until the right moment to pass on the valuable information that he held. " All excellent choices, if you would give me a moment" the Irishman replied, leaving them to fetch the requested drinks. Of course if Mabel wanted something then he would get it for her, but until then he continued and soon began to line the bar top with the right drinks to the right people.

[Matt Harmon - The Dancing Leprechaun]
Butch was certainly enjoying himself, teasing the Commissioner's goons. He could tell Butch wasn't being serious with Mabel, the little brat of the Commissioner.
He avoided rolling his eyes at the Andorian, but instead gave a slight passive aggressive smile before raising his bottle for the entirely bullshit toast. "To successful negotiations." Mabel's attempts at embarrassing him really ought to have been more embarrassing for her. He hardly cared if she paid, he didn't have some misguided sense of pride. Besides, whatever he paid with was probably repossessed from the Commissioner anyway. "Well how kind of you," he said with dry sarcasm, "It's true we don't have the vast plunder you and your mother enjoy, we are but paupers compared to you, indeed," he paused, "And yet you struggle so dearly against our merry band of rebels," he jabbed. "Oh, I've been meaning to ask how are your mining operations going?" the past few months the Front was relatively successful in attacking a number of mining, particularly dilithium, facilities and freeing their 'workers' as well as taking a plunder which was then either used to aid the Front or sold to provide aid to struggling civilian communities.
