[ Shavan Th’zhaar - The Dancing Leprechaun] Feeling some small satisfaction when the bottle connected with the Bajoran’s flesh, Shavan let go of it and leaned back to avoid getting hit by broken glass himself. He kept his eyes on the Bajoran and Harmon, prepared for retaliation, as the bartender spoke up. The man ordered them out, but Shavan didn’t move. As unappealing as the idea of getting beat up and thrown in a cell was, he was more concerned with returning to the Determined empty handed than anything these goons or the Nyberrites security might do to him. And besides, this was personal now. Things might not be going as planned, but he wasn’t going to suffer the indignity of being thrown out. Taking advantage of the momentary hesitation caused by the bartender’s words, he aimed a punch at the Bajoran, then attempted to push past him to get to Harmon. With Mabel distracting the bodyguard, first priority was to take out their leader, and the weapon he was trying to conceal. [Doctor Paawin Riyo ("Butch") - Front Ear Station - The Dancing Leprechaun]Butch clenched his jaw - and his fist - when Harmon agreed to let the two go. But he knew better than to argue, and was about to stand down when he felt a fist strike the side of his jaw. Cursing loudly, he spun back towards the Andorian - who was much closer in a clear attempt to charge Harmon. That made it much easier for Butch to strike his own fist in an inverted punch at the blue man's gut. Simultaneously, he brought one leg forward and bent the knee, not in a sweep but to provide one more obstacle in his path. After the little drunken stunt the kid pulled earlier, Butch was determined not to let him get within arm's reach of Matt again. Normally he'd let Raggir handle this part... But the Orion seemed to have his hands full with Mabel. Hopefully the bartender wouldn't hold self-defense against them too strongly. [ Seamus - The Dancing Leprechaun] Seamus had a feeling that his warning would be ignored as neither Mabel or the Andorian made any attempt to leave. So as Harmon apologised, he had bigger things to worry about although appreciated that it wasn't the Rebels who had caused any trouble. " Don't mention it and I know who the real troublemakers were" he replied, before Mabel then attempted to knee the Orion in the groin. What he wouldn't give to see her blood being spilled, but at the same time, he couldn't just standby and see his bar get wrecked. Then the Andorian decided to attack Butch if he had heard correctly, which quickly turned into a fight as the Bajoran retaliated. Although didn't blame him for acting in self defence, furious at being ignored and wanting nothing more than to see the Empire idiots leave. Seamus produced his disruptor and pointed it at Mabel. " I told you both to leave, but no you have to think you're tough, rather than admit defeat. Now if you don't stop this pathetic attempt, I'll happily vaporise Miss Important here, before I do the same to you".If this didn't work, he would go to plan B and call in Security, but if it did then he would still call them that's unless he ended up with a Mabel sized scorch mark on his floor. [Chloe Hudson, Vitath, & Matt Harmon - Commercial Docks, Phoenix & The Dancing Leprechaun]
Chloe's decision to hear out this Horta proved to be a wise one. As they mentioned a plot to bomb the Phoenix her head snapped to face Kova, checking if she had heard the Horta. She did, fortunately, and was suddenly calling off the plan.
"Phoenix here," Vitath replied as he received a hurried and concerned communication from Kova. Had something gone wrong with the Determined? He continued to head towards the airlock, hoping Kova hadn't blown it.
Meanwhile, Chloe tried to get in touch with Matthew. "Matthew! Pick up, damnit!" she exclaimed over her communicator. "Oh and...thank you," she said earnestly to the Horta. Back in the bar, Mabel seemed eager to get herself shot. Or at least, that must have been what she was playing at. Maybe mother had treated her just that badly. At least, that was the best explanation for her behaviour. Raggir had managed to disarm her, but as Matt unintentionally distracted the brutish bodyguard, Mabel struck again, apparently learning from her previous clumsy attack, this time going for his family jewels. The Orion man howled in pain as Matt facepalmed in disappointment. At the same time, the Andorian tried to make a move against Matt, but Butch, fortunately stood in the way and dealt with that particular annoyance. The bartender once again spoke up, this time threatening to vaporise Mabel. That would be nice to see. Matt was soon distracted again, however as Chloe got in touch. "What? I'm a bit busy...""The Commissioner is trying to bomb the Phoneix. Kova reckons its Saya. We were warned by a Horta. What do you want us to do?" He'd expected the Commissioner to make a move, though hadn't quite anticipated something quite so bold. He thought it through for a moment before giving a quick decision. "Continue with your plan. This is a window, they'll be focused on their own schemes. I'll deal with this new irritation." He then turned to the bartender again, offering his apologies once again. "I am sorry my friend, but it seems we will need to be taking our friends here along with us. Her Highness here has her mum trying to bomb my ship. I can't abide such an egregious violation of the terms we agreed to for this summit," he smiled sadly at the bartender before turning his head to his bodyguard. "Raggir!" he barked. "Grab her, drag her with us. I don't care what happens to the Andorian." he told Butch. Obediently, Raggir, having recovered from the pain of the blow to his groin, went to grab Mabel's collar to drag her from the bar.
"Show me the way out?" he asked the bartender warmly. Hopefully he could both have a moment to talk with him away from the others and ensure that he did not prevent Matt's men from dealing with Mabel and Shavan.
Back in the Commercial Docks, Chloe relayed Matthew's orders to Kova. "The boss says carry on with the plan, we might have a window while they focus on bombing us. Matt'll deal with them....should we get going?" she asked anxiously. [NPC - 1st. Lt. Mabel Eastman - The Dancing Leprechaun]A look of panic shot through Mabel's eyes as everything went wrong at once. She was now being utterly humiliated, and it seems Harmon had caught onto their plan. This was a disaster, and Mabel knew the Commissioner would punish someone. Fortunately for her, she had a little panic button concealed in her boot, activated by fluttering her big toe. It was merely a panic button, but it would send a few security personnel running off the Determined. Or walking off, if they were ill-tempered enough. Or maybe they'll be too late. Mabel couldn't have that. "SECURITY! SECURITY! SECURITY!" she howled, hoping to get the attention of the Nyberrites.

[2nd Lt Shavan Th’zhaar - The Dancing Leprechaun] Shavan doubled over as the Bajoran’s punch connected and he was forced to stumble back away from Harmon. Meanwhile the bartender insisted that they leave again. He could care less if Mabel got shot, but couldn’t help notice that it was only the two of them that the bartender was trying to get rid of. Which didn't make sense, unless he was sympathetic to Harmon. Interesting. Recovering his stance, Shavan hesitated from retaliating as he overheard what Harmon said into a communication device. Apparently he wasn’t the only one who’d been caught… and Harmon’s people had a plan of their own. But maybe, in a last, desperate attempt to salvage the day, he could warn the commissioner that they were onto them… or stop whatever plan the person on the other end of the line was supposed to be carrying out. That, however, would require walking out of here without getting shot or dragged off by security. He slowly took a few steps back from the angry Bajoran. “You know what, you’re right. I think I’ll be going now.” When Mabel started screaming, he turned toward the door, intent on using the chaos as cover to run for it. [Enforcer T’Laara - ISS Determined -> Docking Port, Front Ear Station] While some of the crew went out onto the station, T’Laara remained behind as security on the Determined. A wretchedly dull task. But everyone had to do their part, and it was her job to make sure nothing went amiss and disturbed the Commissioner’s plans on this end. After tiring of making various underlings shrink away from her cold stare, T’Laara checked in the security office. Nothing was going to go amiss under her watch. Unfortunately, it would seem other people had other ideas. She narrowed her eyes a fraction as she received the alert from Mabel Eastman’s panic button. “This had better not be a waste of my time.”She traced the signal to a bar on the station, and, gathering a couple other enforcers behind her, swiftly exited the Determined and walked out into the docking port. Whatever was going on, she would deal with it when she arrived. Tag Jovireh Velal Leanna Mazal Matthew Harmon Judith Eastman

[ Kova Sh'qaleq - Airlock --> Hull of ISS Determined ] After making certain that they were secured, Kova led the way to the airlock. She had the sneaking suspicion that Chloe may not have been entirely truthful, but there was hardly time to worry about that. Of course, if she went dangling off into space, that would leave quite a bit of explaining to do to Harmon. Luckily, the jaunt to the Hull of the Determined happened for the most part without incident. They'd both made it in one piece. It took a few steps to build up a steady rhythm, which wasn't exactly easy to do with magnetic boots, but the pair eventually made it to one of the air ports. Kova knelt down and opened the panel. She pressed the button on her arm that activated the comm link to Chloe's suit. "You see these three nozzles?" the Andorian asked. "This is where we attach the canisters to feed the gas into their environmental systems. Let's get started." Kova liberated one of the canisters she'd been carrying and secured it into place. Once it was locked, she noticed the gauge showing the gas within the canister was being fed into the environmental systems. "It's working."Kova left the task of finishing this portion of the plan to Chloe. She then used the cloned comm signal they'd obtained to hack into the outer console to the airlock. After a few seconds, she got the chamber to depressurize. Once that was done, the hatch opened. "We're in," Kova announced. "Once inside, we'll determine the concentration of the gas, and filter out the sedative if need be. First, let's try to lock down non-essential areas and proceed to the Bridge." Kova then took the first step inside of the airlock, waiting for Chloe to follow.

[ Thami, ISS Determined ] Thami carried the tray of Andorian tea into her mistress' chamber. She had barely gotten passed the door when she started to feel light-headed. Before she knew it, the entire tray had fumbled out of her hands and crashed onto the floor. This most certainly wouldn't do. Thami turned around and started to head back to the corridor to get something to clean it with. Yet, as the doors parted, she saw a pair of crewman on the floor, seeming to have collapsed. What was going on. "S-someone... h-he--" was all the teenaged Andorian managed to get out before she felt her knees go week. Before she knew it, she was barely bracing her own weight on hands and knees before collapsing into darkness upon the corridor floor.

[Chloe Hudson - Hull of the ISS Determined --> Determined Interior]"Got it," Chloe affirmed as Kova explained how to administer the sedative gas. She moved to another one of the environmental system access points and deployed the canisters she was carrying. It was simple enough and she managed not to mess it up. It didn't take long for her to finish emptying all the cannisters she had allowing her to meet Kova at the airlock.
She was relieved to be back on solid ground again. Once she'd gotten her balance back she drew her disruptor pistol just in case. The plan seemed to have worked, but it was best to be wary. You knew knew when there was some species with some sort of immunity on board. Some of Matthew's spies had managed to get the full plans for the Determined's class of vessel making it easy for the pair to navigate through the corridors and know where to go. First she made her way to the mess hall nearby, taking a peak inside confirmed the crew was out cold. It was a large hall with what must have been a decent portion of the ship's crew. Certainly it was much larger than the Phoenix's more...homely mess hall. She then tinkered with the doors panel controls and locked it down. If they woke up they would find it hard to get out of the room. Next, she went to find a console with access to more of the ship's systems, eventually finding one. Her computer skills came in handy as she hacked in and locked down all nonessential locations. They could probably overwrite her work if they tried hard enough, but it would buy them some time at the very least.
"Should we head to the bridge?" she asked Kova.

[ Seamus - The Dancing Leprechaun] Despite the momentary interruption concerning the Commissioner and what she was intending to do with the Rebel ship. Seamus realised that some of his intel was now rendered useless, however that paled into significance if the Rebels brought down Eastman and her pathetic excuse for a crew. When Harmon then apologised once more and explained that he needed to take Mabel and the Andorian because of what Eastman was up to, he would concede the chance to vaporise her daughter, at least this time and would happily watch as she got dragged from the bar. " No need to apologise, I understand why you need to take them and I have no issue with you doing that, especially with them being with the Empire" he replied as Harmon then asked Seamus to show him the way out. " Certainly, this way" he said, before Mabel decided to call for Security. " Could someone shut her up?" Seamus asked as the Andorian spoke about leaving and turned towards the door. That's when the Irishman wondered if he would try to make a run for it as it appeared that he no longer had any interest in sticking with Mabel. The Empire showing its true colours as always and now they were stuck with a woman who was all talk and Shavan who was only looking out for himself. " Maybe we should stop him from trying to leave too".

[Chloe Hudson - Commercial Docks]Chloe wasn't too sure how to respond. She couldn't just give Matthew up, but this was an abnormal encounter. For one the Horta knew her name, which was odd. She wasn't a well known member of the Front publicly. She took a moment to consider if she should confirm who she was, but then the Horta mentioned Bejita. That was the ship of Matthew's informant. The Bajoran. Or half Bajoran at least. Chloe detested the Bajorans, they'd enslaved her and her family for her childhood. Though perhaps she should only detest Ozu Saya half as much. The Vulcan's weren't too bad after all. "Yes...I'm Chloe," she said cautiously before nodding at Kova and handing over the gear as she gave the order for Chloe to deal with this development. "What's happening, you've gotta be quick. And I can't just call him without knowing what it's about," she said, lowering her voice. "We need to be careful," she subtlety looked around to make sure no one was listening fortunately the coast was clear. [Matthew Harmon - The Dancing Leprechaun] As Matt got up to leave, Shavan followed, clumsily stumbling. He hadn't drunk that much and had only just now suddenly begun slurring. He was clearly faking. As Matt turned around to face the Andorian, he saw Butch had beat him to it who moved to shove Shavan. Instead, Matt looked over himself, and patted himself down, eventually finding a device in his pocket which he set down calmly and carefully on the table. Perhaps analysing it could come in handy later.
"Really, Mabel? Is that the quality of the training you're providing now? That sloppy an attempt at deception? I'm sure Mother will be so disappointed when she hears of this," he wasn't going to give Shavan the dignity of presupposing he had any degree of agency, and besides, this would serve to further denigrate Her Royal Highness.
Raggir, moved next to Butch, ready to provide support and smash the upstart little Andorian's head in if need be. He glanced between Matt and Mabel, indicating that he was awaiting orders. "What am I going to do with you, Mabel?" he asked, shaking his head.

The ball was in their court. "You want to be careful. Her goon is a big guy with this mechanical hand thing and he's got a murderous streak. Goes by the name of Aune." she added. Different strokes, she said saucily, then added more seriously, You two should stay out of sight on board while I go talk to them. Wouldn't do for them to think I'm bringing the foxes into the henhouse.
Kindly don't break anything else, She tossed over her shoulder at Aune as she stood and made her way back to the portal.
Tag Judith Eastman and Sven Aune |Bejita -> Pheonix || Enforcer Sven Aune |Sven gave the little filthy half breed a sneer and flexed this claw thing. He took joy in sheer intimidation. The mere fact that he could tear this little ship apart with his bare hands gave him a feeling of power and he was going to make damn sure that Saya knew it. "Of course." he said with a mock tone of contradiction. He stood with the device over his shoulder. Protocol would have it that Harmon would place his own security at the hatch. He was a sly fox, so there were most likely other tricks he would have up his sleeve to protect his ship. Getting the bomb to the primary EPS manifold junction would the tricky. He followed Saya out, alibi ready. At least he wasn't a high profile target like Judy. Now how was she going to get off the ship undetected? Wasn't his problem. Maybe she would get caught. That would make his promotion all that much easier. And then he would take much pleasure tearing her little syncophantic pork-chop of an "adopted" daughter limb from limb. If only. He could dream. Tag Judith EastmanOzu SayaMatthew Harmon[ Shavan Th’zhaar - The Dancing Leprechaun] Shavan glared at the Bajoran when he shoved him back against the bar. “I could say the same to you.” he answered coldly. He barely had time to say anything else, or push back, before Harmon found the device. Damn it. Shavan stared at them defiantly, trying to ignore the sinking feeling in his gut and act like he didn’t care. “Whoops. Must have dropped something.”
He was a bit surprised that it was Mabel who struck the first blow. They weren’t blocking her path; surely she could have tried to run for it and leave him to deal with the consequences of failure. But there was no time to dwell on it, and no more trying to talk their way out. Following Mabel’s lead, he shoved back against the Bajoran. Keeping his own disruptor pistol concealed for the moment, he quickly grabbed a bottle from the bar top behind him and attempted to smash it over the Bajoran’s head. [ Seamus - The Dancing Leprechaun] After leaving the two factions to their childish banter and one up man ship especially Eastman's daughter with her talk of punishments and empty threats. Seamus had moved to the other end of the bar, in order to serve other customers who were keen to avoid that particular group. Of course that didn't mean that he was completely ignoring them and was in fact keeping a close eye on the situation, waiting for the right opportune moment in order to get Harmon on his own. What he hadn't or should of anticipated was a possible skirmish between the Rebels and the remnants of the Empire and so as the Andorian hybrid pushed into Harmon. Seamus got ready to intervene especially when Mabel decided to use her disruptor to hit one of Harmon's people rather than do the sensible thing of leaving or denying that she and her lackey any wrongdoing. That was just typical in Seamus's eyes and yet he wasn't about to let this kind of behaviour attract Nyberrite security, not that he was going to tell them that as he moved quickly towards the fight that was brewing. As Shavan then shoved the Bajoran, Seamus raised his voice and looked at them all. " Enough, I won't have any fighting in my bar, now I suggest that you two" He said angrily, indicating Mabel and Shavan. " Get out, before I call Security and consider yourselves no longer welcome in this establishment".If either of them tried anything, the Irishman was ready and for their sakes hoped that they would leave without any further fuss, so he could then speak to Harmon and the others. [Doctor Paawin Riyo ("Butch") - Front Ear Station - The Dancing Leprechaun]He didn't take his eyes off the Andorian while Matt patted himself down, but he could see the man pull something out of his pocket and set it on the table. Raggir stepped up next to him, ready to help, and Butch was always grateful to have the large Orion on his side. Much better than going up against him. Harmon finished his 'disappointment speech', Mabel lashed out and... Did she seriously just pistol-whip an Orion bodyguard? Yes, it would seem she did. Butch wasn't sure if that was more brave or stupid. But he didn't have time to think on it, as the Andorian took advantage of his momentary distraction and shoved him back. Stumbling a couple steps, he grabbed onto the edge of a table to keep himself from falling, and quickly regained his balance. Looking back over, he saw a glass bottle coming down towards his head, and had just enough time to lift his arm to absorb the blow. The glass broke upon impact with his forearm, and left a few deep gashes in its wake, but he'd rather it be his arm than his face. Righting himself, he was just about to throw a punch when the bartender rushed back over to yell at them, kicking out the two lackeys. Butch hesitated for a brief moment, his gaze darting over to Harmon for confirmation. Were they really going to just let these two go, after whatever it was they just tried to pull on him? [Matt Harmon - The Dancing Leprechaun] Matt was somewhat suppressed when Mabel pistol whipped Raggir. He'd expected her to make an exit, and certainly didn't expect her to attack the burly Orion. Raggir took the hit well, but was stunned for a moment, more in surprise than as a result of the actual hit itself. Once he'd processed what had happened, he lunged towards Mabel attempting to grab her arm and violently disarm her. At the same time, Matt instinctively reached to his hip to draw his own pistol, but avoided raising it for the moment, remaining ready to respond and quickly fire from the hip if need be, but avoiding escalating further. Not to mention he didn't want to draw too much of the ire of the Nyberrite's as they surely would not take it too kindly to him gunning down the Commissioner's daughter.Besides him, Shavan hit Butch with a bottle, though fortunately the good doctor managed to block it with his arm. Naturally, Butch appeared ready to counterattack but the group was soon interrupted by the bartender. At first, Matt thought they were all being asked to leave, as would be expected. He was a little disappointed inwardly to have the fun interrupted. However, he did a double take and realised that the bartender was only asking Shavan and Mabel to leave. Curious. That did not make much sense. Unless, of course, this man was the contact who had been feeding him information, or at least knew who was. Usually Matt would not be so keen as to let his enemies get away too easy without much of a scratch, but the information from the informant was more valuable this time. As much as he'd love to dispatch Mabel, it would cause more harm to himself and the Front than it would be worth at this juncture. "My apologies," he said to the bartender with a warm smile. "My associate will help them find their way out of your fine establishment," he nodded to Raggir, momentarily distracting the man's attention from Mabel and Shavan. [NPC - 1st. Lt. Mabel Eastman - The Dancing Leprechaun]As Raggir grabbed her arm, Mabel grimaced with distress and held in a shriek, having not thought this far out in advance. She now came to realize, the hard way, why her mother left the fighting to those who were suited to it. However, the barkeep's comments, and Harmon's, were belittling and humiliating to the young woman. To her, her own pride, her mother's pride, and their organization's pride were one, and had to be defended. "Your associate will do no such thing," she proclaimed, as she attempted to knee Raggir in the groin.
Tag Shavan Th'zhaar , Leanna Mazal , Jovireh Velal , Matthew Harmon [NPCs - Darby Nelson and Dihiq, son of Kroka - Docking Bay, Phoenix]Darby and Dihiq were an odd pairing: one a former Terran slave to the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance, the other a Klingon slaver. However, neither one much cared for the lot life had drawn for him, and so both had escaped together, and stuck together. Now, they ran security for Harmon. The odd duo stood outside the Bijeta when they saw the smuggler, Ozu, and... it must be Eastman's enforcer, Aune. "Hands where I can see them!" Darby ordered. "Drop whatever that is!" Dihiq added.
Tag Ozu Saya and Sven Aune [Commissioner Judith Eastman - Bijeta]For once, Ozu was right - about the need for Aune to keep himself hidden - but of course he didn't listen. He had lost his touch lately, growing more full of himself and less obedient with every week. As the idiots left, Judy was now alone to figure out her own exit. She supposed she could attempt to rescue Aune from his own stupidity, and indeed she retained the option of beaming him up. However, her pertinent concern was survival, and her plan was clear: she'd launch a probe at the emergency alarm button in the docking bay, opening the door and allowing her to fly out as smoothly as she'd flown in. That is, assuming Aune and Ozu screwed this up, as seemed exceedingly likely. [ Ozu Saya - Bijeta --> Phoenix] Oh, hell. The great oaf had followed her.
Saya turned as they exited onto the ramp to say something scathing to him, when the command from the security officers got her attention. Her hands snapped up by reflex, though she twitched to reach for the weapon at her hip. Now what?I'm here to speak with Harmon, she said with her best attempt at an innocent look. Did they forget to tell you? This was not good. If she lost her ship because of trying to help Harmon, he wasn't going to like the results. Saya believed in his goals, but that ship was her livelihood and all she had left of her parents.

[Doctor Paawin Riyo ("Butch") - Front Ear Station - The Dancing Leprechaun]Vaguely overhearing part of the conversation Harmon was having over the communicator, Butch felt his temper flare even more. So these spineless wretches were just a diversion so the Commissioner could slaughter everyone else who was left aboard the ship. As the Andorian recovered from his last punch and decided to retreat instead of retaliating, Butch didn't even wait for an order this time. Barely registering the bartender's suggestion to keep him from leaving, he was already lunging forward to do just that. "I don't think so, kid!" he growled, completely ignoring the fact that his arm was still bleeding from the gashes left by the bottle, since adrenaline and rage were excellent pain reducers. Taking advantage of Shavan's back now turned to him, he quickly closed the distance before throwing himself forward, intending to wrap him up in a chokehold and tackle him to the ground. "We gave you that option twice and you had to be stupid; don't think we'll be so kind again!" Mabel's shrieking was only serving to agitate him more. Did she seriously believe the Nyberrite security would take her side? After all the witnesses around that saw her throw the first strike? He wanted nothing more than to sever her vocal chords, but the others would deal with her. His job was apparently controlling the Andorian. Maybe when this was all over, Harmon would let him take a piece of the kid back to the ship for his troubles. Maybe.
Once aboard the Determined, it was simply a matter of neutralizing access at several locations. As Chloe worked to isolate the crew, Kova set about shutting down power to some of the access panels. It should certainly make it a bit more difficult for them to get out of the rooms before they came through. "That should do it," Kova stated. It was simply a matter of pulling out a few isolinear chips here and there, as they moved along. There were always emergency reroutes, but those could be better managed from the Bridge. "Yes. Quickly," Kova said. She looked around, recalling her current location. "This way," she said as she began to move down the corridor. Admittedly, she was tempted to know what was presently happening aboard the Phoenix. Whether Harmon had made it there by now. She was rather confident that it was still in one piece. If it had exploded, they would have felt the shockwaves by now. It was a quick jaunt down the corridor and a ride on their turbolift, and before long they had access to the Bridge. As the doors to the Bridge slid open, Kova looked around. There were bodies slumped over stations and along the floor. No one appeared to be moving. "Let's go," Kova stated. She moved onto the Bridge and immediately moved towards the Engineering station. "I'll raise force fields throughout the ship and reroute power form most of the populated areas. Then, I'll look at the engines. See if you can bring the helm online."Kova's hands moved as quickly as she could muster to carry out he tasks she had described. Suddenly, she sensed something... her antennae twitching as she sensed movement. Kova looked over her shoulder to see one of the bodies rising from the floor. Kova cursed, having not paid attention to the breathing apparatus on the face of the Barzan. The apparatus allowed it to breathe air from its own atmosphere, likely filtering the gas the rest of the crew had inhaled. It didn't take him to reveal the blade he was unsheathing as he moved up behind Chloe. "Chloe! Look out!" Kova warned as she tried to rush across the Bridge to help her fellow crewman, yet a loud growl was already escaping the Barzan's lips as his raised blade began to come down upon Chloe.

Almost as soon as Chloe stepped onto the ship's bridge she was charged at by a Barzan from behind who presumably was able to filter out the gas. Nothing ever went smoothly. Kova's warning gave her time to spin on her heel and face the approaching assailant. She put her arm up to try and block the blade bearing down on her. It managed to shield her face from the blade but cut into her arm causing her to cry out in pain. At the same time, however, her other arm pointed her disruptor pistol into his chest and fired at point blank range, killing him instantly. The seal on her helmet was separate from the bodysuit, allowing her to remain safe from the effects of the gas, though it was pretty useless as a spacesuit now. Her arm was bleeding, the blade cut deep which unfortunately would mean a visit to Butch. For now, she was just pleased she wasn't more seriously hurt. "I'm fine..." she winced to Kova, "Thanks for the warning."It didn't take long to get access to the console. Once Kova activated the engines, she carefully piloted the ship away from the station. Or at least, she intended it to be carefully, she had never piloted anything this large before so it didn't go quite as smoothly as she would have liked. The Nyberrite's would no doubt have been alerted instantly, and it probably wouldn't take long for the Commissioner to figure out her ship was missing. With this in mind, Matthew had provided rendezvous coordinates for them to meet up once his business was dealt with. "Warp drive ready?" she asked Kova. With the adrenaline having started to wear off her arm was started to become more painful. Not to mention the stress of being stuck on a ship with a bunch of angry soldiers who could wake up at any moment if they'd messed up the dosage or dispersion or any number of things. [Matt Harmon - The Dancing Leprechaun]
This whole...meeting had become much more a confrontation than he had expected. Still, it was enjoyable. Getting to see that smug adopted daughter of the Commissioner squirm. He noticed Shavan coming up from behind him, either making another run at Matt or trying to fleet, but fortunately Butch had that under control. Matt continued to walk calmly towards the exit of the bar talking to the bartender as he went. "So you're my contact I take it?" he was reasonably confident in his deductions, though if he was wrong it hardly mattered as he would be departing soon and likely wouldn't be back here for some time, if at all. "They're already suspicious of you," he spoke up, waving his hand as he spoke pre-empting any fears that they shouldn't be seen talking to each other. Usually he wouldn't be so blatant, but time was running out. "Or at least, they won't be very happy about all this. That banshee over there is the Commissioner's daughter...adopted daughter," he explained. He paused for some time to let him process that. "You should join me," he said outright, "Not as a spy, I can get enough of those within the Nyberrite League," he paused again and smiled, as he stopped walking as they made it to the very edge of the bar standing in the entrance. "No offence...Anyway, what I can't get enough of is good men and women to join the fight. You seem like you'd fit right in. You clearly have no love lost for the Commissioner, and I suspect there's more to you than a simple bartender. Come use your skills and your determinations for us." He again paused to let his request sink in. "And look if you really are just a bartender that's fine too, the crew can always use a morale boost," he laughed. In the distance she saw three of the Commissioner's men approaching. "I hate to put you on the spot, but we're running out of time," he turned away from the bartender and faced back into the bar. "We've got company, Raggir, bring Mabel, kill the Andorian or something, I don't care what, but we have to go," he ordered. He didn't raise his pistol, not wanting to attract too much of a commotion just yet, but he remained ready. Meanwhile, Raggir was still trying to deal with Mabel. Hearing the new orders from his leader, he drew a dagger from his belt and attempted to grab Mabel and take her hostage, bringing the blade to her throat and dragging her towards the exit so they could make their escape.

With the adrenaline having started to wear off her arm was started to become more painful. Not to mention the stress of being stuck on a ship with a bunch of angry soldiers who could wake up at any moment if they'd messed up the dosage or dispersion or any number of things. She oppened up her comm for a moment giving a short update to Harmon. "Matthew, we're away. Give the Commissioner our regards!" She could use a good drink or five after this... [ Kova Sh'qaleq - Bridge, ISS Determined ] Kova was only a barely a few steps away when she heard the disruptor blast and saw the flash of the weapon. It caused her to halt in her tracks, fearful of what had just happened. And then, she watched the body of the Barzan fall. A wave of relief fell over her as she saw the Chloe was alive... a bit worse for wear, since it was obvious that she'd have to settle for a visit with Butch. She nodded as Chloe thanked her for the warning. she then quickly turned her attention back to her own console, knowing that the Warp Drive needed to be active, otherwise, they'd have to answer to Nyberrite Security. "Warp Drive is online," she chimed. "Floor it!"Satisfied with power to the warp drive now being online, it was simply a matter of maneuvering out of the station's wake, and cleverly ignoring any hails about unscheduled departures. Not many people cared to anger Eastman in anyway, so a few cold shoulders to their hails may be overlooked. Yet, once Eastman's people reported their ship was gone... well, it would be better if the Determined wasn't there at all. Kova made her way over to Chloe to inspect her arm as she sent a message to Harmon. "There should be a patching agent on your belt. It'll seal the suit and act as an anticoagulant for your wound until Butch get a look at that," Kova said. There was a chime from the station Kova was at previously. "Display readout on main viewer," Kova said allowed. Her eyes skimmed the readout. "Looks like there were a rush of officers that left the ship just before we deployed the gas. Smaller numbers aboard actually work to our...." Kova's voice paused as a breakdown of the remaining crew onboard was displayed. Though, there was one particular entry that held Kova's attention: Adolescent Andorian female. It could have been more precise for Kova's preference, but such a description was typically sufficient by Terran standards. Still, the possiblity was promising. "She... she's here?" Was it possible? As much as Kova wanted to rush to the source of that life sign, there was a part of her that was afraid. Afraid that the dream of finding her daughter would be met only with disappointment.

[2nd Lt Shavan Th’zhaar - The Dancing Leprechaun] Shavan lunged for the exit, but didn’t get more than a few steps before the Bajoran slammed into him from behind and he fell, hard, to the floor. Struggling under the man’s greater weight, he clawed viciously at the existing cuts in the arm around his neck with one hand while desperately trying to reach for a weapon with the other. He turned his head to the side to get in a better position to breathe, and a few small shards of broken glass from the floor scraped the side of his face, drawing a trail of vivid green blood. But at the same moment Shavan’s fingers closed around the handle of the disruptor pistol hidden in his jacket, and gripping it tightly, he drew it in one quick motion and reached behind him to press the end of the barrel against the Bajoran’s side. “Get your hands off me.” he gasped. Or you’re dead.[Enforcer T’Laara - Front Ear Station] Moving swiftly through the station, T’Laara soon spotted the bar’s entrance in the distance. From this faraway vantage point, she couldn’t see inside, but did notice Harmon and another Terran man standing in the doorway. She paused, hand brushing the handle of the weapon in her belt. It would be easy to just shoot them, but blindly causing a scene was not her style. Instead she quietly motioned for the others to spread out and surround the entrance, while she approached cautiously, alert and focusing her heightened senses on what was happening inside. tag Jovireh Velal , soft tag Matthew Harmon Leanna Mazal Judith Eastman

[NPC - 1st. Lt. Mabel Eastman - The Dancing Leprechaun]With the new development, Raggir retrieving a knife, Mabel was seized by a sense of do or die urgency... that led to nothing at all, as the blade was at her neck before she could elbow him. Now, any motion would end in calamity for her, and she had to be clever about herself. "Be a lot cooler if you put that knife down. No need to do any damage," she whispered, hoping to talk her way out. "Actually, tell you what..." she added, in a sultry tone, before she recognized some of the Determined's personnel, saving her from such a degrading experience. "OVER HERE!" she squealed, betting that she was worth more alive than dead and that Raggir would act accordingly.
