Greetings Frontierites
Another month is upon us and I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for what has been an awesome 9 months so far. As we head into what should be an epic season finale for both the Mac and Front Ear, I have a few announcements to make.
First off is our worthy POTM winner T'Karra , congratulations T'Karra and you can find the winning post below.
The trio inside the lift stayed out of sight as the doors slid open and the only visible movement to instinctively draw the eye was the small, palm sized cylinder. It sailed through the air for only a fraction of a second towards the open ramp of the nearby shuttlecraft. The stun grenade was a cleverly made and employed device; rather than relying on a time-delayed fuse that required a more precise execution, it simply impacted with the deck and ignited.
The shuttlebay and the interior of the craft was awash with 50,000,000 lumens and a deafening 175 decibel roar. While some species were impervious to the effects, most were blinded by the activation of every optical photoreceptor and disoriented by the concussive blast. It was then that the impromptu security team struck with phasers primed.
They charged forward, taking in the scene in an instant. Knife. Blood. Threat. Victim. Bystander.
"Hands! Show me your hands!" Ma' thundered, zeroing in on the Talorian with the blade and a face warped with rage.
T'Karra pressed forward, shoulder to shoulder with Ma' as he rushed the active threat. Whether he planned to shoot the assailant or tackle him was a mystery to her. She kept her weapon trained on the second Telorian, providing her Klingon comrade with security. There was no telling his involvement in the obvious attack. There would be time for questions later.
The two of them together freed up Lieutenant Andrews to advance unimpeded.
Secondly, both the mission & event look to be a lot of fun, thanks to Isaiah Quinn who wrote Crash & Burn and Kaya Som who wrote the experimental thread Shore Leave in the Twilight City. As usual you can find the links here.
Crash & Burn
Shore Leave in the Twilight City
Finally & just as importantly, I would like you all to join me in congratulating the following players who have earned a promotion this month. Isaiah Quinn is hereby promoted to Lieutenant Commander, T'Karra is hereby promoted to Petty Officer 3rd Class & Joshua Niles is hereby promoted to Full Lieutenant.
That's all from me & let's make December awesome
