{Quoted Posts} [NPC - Lt. Mabel Henriksen - Ops, Front Ear Station]The call came in as Mabel, the newish Chief of Ops, occupied the center chair. For the young woman, this new job was a splendid opportunity to grow and to apply all she had learned, and she was enjoying it greatly. =A= "Soteria, there's a criminal loose on the station. Under Chapter C of the Transportation Safety Act, we're implementing a full hold on departures, embarkations, and disembarkations until this criminal is apprehended. Thank you for your cooperation." =A= Mabel could recite by heart so many of Starfleet's bureaucratic proceedings, almost as a Vulcan or a computer - it was a point of pride for the young woman. =A= "In the meantime, we can send you some brownies." =A= Col. Helena Vasser | Maj. Chromar | Alpha Sgt. Gorsk | Dr. Bel | Capt. Rez Jogann | 2nd Lt. Neema | | | | | | |
[Bridge, N.S.S. Soteria ] The voice that replied was a familiar one that actually brought a slight smile to Vasser's face. Mabel, Eastman's protégé, seemed to be manning Ops, or at the very least the one that had been appointed to handle Vasser. Perhaps it was an air of amusement that had caused her lips to curl as they had. Especially, with this story about a criminal being loose on the station. Vasser arched her eyebrow and glanced over at Chromar, who was more agitated than anything by this revelation. -♦- "I see," -♦- Vasser replied. If this was the game that they cared to play, perhaps she could indulge it a little further. If only to see what all Mable had learned from her mentor. -♦- "Well, I would be more than happy to make some of the Soteria's resources available to you, if only to speed things along," -♦- Vasser continued. -♦- "I have ever confidence in Commander Taggert and his team will resolve this. I'm sure a few additional eyes couldn't hurt. In fact, Captain Jogann is quite experienced in such matters and very resourceful. Shall I send him over?" -♦-As Vasser awaited a response, she gestured to her communications officer to kill their audio. "They're stalling. A few moments ago they couldn't wait to get us off the station. What's changed?""I'm on it," said Chromar as he rose from his station and left the bridge. Vasser then nodded at her communications officer to resume normal communications.

[Matthew Harmon - Avi's Workshop] Matt cursed under his breath as Avi decided to walk away and suggested he bribe Lynch. He could do it, but it was a bad idea. "Moz, you need to tell me what happened," he asserted as he followed her. "Chances are, he's already gone to Security. And if he was innocent, if he wasn't after you, then that makes this even more difficult. Bribing him is not going to work." She needed to turn herself in, but he knew that was unlikely. "You've either got to get out of here, which will be very difficult if you've already been reported," he would offer to represent her, but that was complicated by his involvement. Especially since it seemed he was innocent, making it far harder to mitigate what had happened. "I can try and get your charges and sentence reduced, that's harder with me involved." There were a few tricks he could use, particularly given her status as an intelligence asset. However, he couldn't, or rather wouldn't, get her out of it entirely. He could also pay civil damages on her behalf, but that was going to be an issue for much latter. The evidence wasn't particularly strong, unless there had been a camera, but it was still likely going to be enough to charge her with something. He'd considered checking if there was a camera and wiping it if there was one, but he'd decided that would make things worse. Often it wasn't the crime, but the coverup. It would be especially bad for him personally if the footage mysteriously went missing when the resident spook (or ex-spook?) was reportedly involved in making threats. If she was to remain on the station, unless by some miracle he didn't report them, there wasn't a way to escape entirely without consequences. "Your best way out is to turn yourself in. Go to the station, surrender yourself for assault and battery. Don't say anything beyond that until I can get there. Tell me where Mott might be, and I will get him to safety. He's upset at you anyway, so I might have more luck getting through to him now anyway." The other option was she could plead not guilty by reason of insanity. Avi tried to ignore him, but Harmon was following her. She growled and whirled around on him, her voluminous robes flapping. "Shut up!" she hissed through the mask, clenching her gloved fingers in his face. Her disguise was worth utterly nothing if she was being followed around by the station's spooky pariah, nattering on. His attention was beginning to fluster her. "Just ... ngh! I'll do it ... later." Avi wasn't afraid of station security or Starfleet brigs or sweet Lynch or grandma Eastman. They were all a kind of dysfunctional family, lives knitted together without any of them actually wanting it to be so. Avi could not 'escape' them anymore than she'd ever truly left Bolarus. But the Nyberrites - they were a concern. They were unpredictable. Even the Federation tip-toed around them. "I promise," she added gently, almost sweetly. She was even attemptin to smile behind the mask. "There. I promise I will turn myself into station security. Later." And Avi proceeded to back away, hoping that for once in her life, being gentle would buy her a little bit of time to put some things into place. Matthew Harmon

[CPO Jovireh Velal - Front Ear - Promenade Security Offices]
Jovireh sighed softly as she watched Conor leave, grateful he didn't question her request, and mentally kicking herself for being so comfortable with him. She was going to need to exercise a bit more self control if she didn't want to risk pushing him away completely. But she couldn't let herself dwell on that, as she still had a job to do. Tapping her combadge once more, the Chief issued orders of her own. =A="Velal to Delta 1 and 2. We need to bring Avi Moz in for aggravated assault. Last seen she was disguised as a priest with a hood and mask, so be thorough. Alpha and Beta teams, we need witnesses. Ask around if anyone on your floors saw a priest behaving suspiciously, or one person dragging another into a storage area."=A= Several acknowledgements replied, and she moved around her desk to take a seat in her chair. The witnesses weren't exactly necessary, but it was a good way to spread the word around to let the Alliance know they were, indeed, looking for a criminal.

[Lt. Cmdr. Pierce Taggert - Front Ear - Conference Room 2]With the Soteria's departure delayed, the manhunt underway, and the Captain curbing the Lieutenants' enthusiasm, there was little more for Taggert to do but refocus his attention on the console and the information that was coming in regarding the suspicious freighter. By itself it was rather unremarkable, but that made it the perfect choice for a covert delivery. "I've received the registration information on the freighter. Sending a message to the Captain requesting a call." The message was delicately phrased, stating only they were investigating an occurrence in a system the freighter had visited recently and would like to ask them a few questions. While he was fully expecting to get nothing more than "we were paid to drop off a package, and we don't know what was in it", it was at least worth asking.

[Lt. Paawin Riyo - Front Ear - Primary Sickbay]Thankful that no one felt the need to argue with him, Riyo gestured for Leanna to go lay down on a nearby biobed. Before he could say anything else, however, Perry's frantic shout caught his attention and he hurried over to him, relieved to see the man must have drifted off I to a nightmare. "I'm going to give you a mild sedative. It won't make you sleep, but it'll ease your emotional responses and suppress any nightmares if you do fall asleep." While the man needed his rest, it was clear he wouldn't be getting it if the dreams happened that quickly. Slipping a vial into a hypospray and adjusting the dosage, he waited for acknowlesgement before administering it.

{Quoted Posts} [Primary Sickbay - Front Ear] The foray into the Commodore's mind had been an experience, one that had reminded Leanna just how vulnerable people could be. Her mind was still a mixture of both her and Perry's emotions, jumbled together as she became aware of Riyo holding onto her, before she heard Perry himself. She wasn't about to argue or even attempt to suggest that they continue, not when she had encountered that powerful psychic block. Whoever had done this to the Commodore was clever as Riyo spoke to her directly. " I've done what I can" she replied softly. He would know that she wouldn't go against his wishes, medical advice or his concern for that matter. Grateful for the physical support that he was still giving her as he addressed those still in the room. Knowing that he would want her to remain in Sickbay until he was satisfied that her and the babies were okay. Leanna tried to clear her mind as Niles finished a comm to someone and prepared to leave alongside Commander Quinn. Managing a smile in response to Isaiah's acknowledgement of her name and what she had done, before Yvonna then asked her a question about the block. Sifting through the information that she had gleaned, Leanna was able to answer that with conviction. " This wasn't a natural occurrence so whoever did this to the Commodore, put the block in deliberately ... for what purpose I don't know".[NPC - Commodore (Reserves) Calvin Perry - Sickbay, Front Ear Station]The various people in the room seemed to talk over Calvin, as they were wont to do, and so his eyes closed, lulled into a much-needed sleep. In this sleep, however, he found no rest, as he found himself in a fighter, an awfully familiar one. Suddenly, he felt searing pain.
"Get me out!" he howled. "Get me out!" And then his eyes opened, he saw Sickbay, and instantly felt very sheepish. [Lt. Perhaps it was just-- Yvonna was pulled form her musings about the couple as she heard Commodore Perry shout. "Commodore?" she said softly. The man had seemed to calm himself after realizing that whatever he had experienced wasn't happening. Was it a dream... or perhaps something had triggered him. Dr. Paawin offered him a mild sedative, nothing that would make him sleep, but help to keep him calm. "Perhaps we should reposition the biobed's orientation," Yvonna suggested. "Elevate you into a reclined position... just in case there was some sort of physical trigger." Yvonna looked between the two men to see if there was any objection. "Perhaps that along with the medication Doctor Paawin has given you will help you to rest." In the event that it didn't, Yvonna would discuss the possibility of beginning a mild regimen of medications to inhibit some of Perry's nightmares, such as Duloxetine... however, that was a last resort. Having Perry to be able to rest and sleep naturally was the primary goal.

[Primary Sickbay - Front Ear] There was nothing more that Leanna could do for the Commodore, not unless he consented to another telepathic regression. So as Yvonna acknowledged what she had said with a nod, before gestured for her to lay down on a nearby bed. The Betazoid was left with the residual emotions and the drain it had taken on her physical and emotional self. Then came the shout from Perry who must of drifted off before something had caused him to react that way. Naturally it could be anything thanks to what they had just shared but as Riyo rushed to help him along with the Counsellor. Leanna got onto the bed, knowing that Perry was in capable hands. She didn't expect to fall asleep and besides, she doubted that she would be able to with everything that was going on and the effects of the mind probe. No it was best for her to stay awake as the others saw to the Commodore and offered various treatments and suggestions. Lea did however make herself comfortable, as she didn't know how long she would be here for and the gentle beep of the monitor above her, enabled her to clear her mind or at least begin too.

[Matthew Harmon - Avi's Workshop]
Matt was entirely unfazed by Avi's hissing and yelling and fist shaking. But when she suddenly switched to being calm, and gentle, that almost rattled him. It was disconcerting. "Soon there won't be a later!" he said firmly. "Turn yourself in, or don't. It's your choice. But at least give me a possible location for Mott. He's innocent. I don't want him to be in harms way with the Alliance crawling about. I will make sure he is somewhere safe."

[LTJG Chloe Hudson - Conference Room]Chloe still felt that the fugitive story was too risky. It would only last for so long. Once they found out Avi had been found, they'd have no reason to hold them. They couldn't pull this sort of delaying tactic twice. If they couldn't find any new leads very shortly that would be it. "What is our plan if we can't find any more evidence?" she asked the Captain respectfully. "Should I tell my asset to...take a risk?"

[ LT Joshua Niles - Sickbay, Front Ear Station ][Capt. Judith Eastman(-Williams), PhD - Conference Room]=A= "Well, in that case, just put some flair into the search," =A= Judy ordered Jov, not wanting to micromanage the handling of the assault report itself. With Niles, there was more to manage. =A= "Lieutenant, if I drag Vasser back in now, not only will I cause an international incident, but we'll also get nothing. She'll claim ignorance and tell us nothing," =A= she explained. =A= "We'll keep the Soteria from leaving, as much as we're able, but you'll have to give me more before we take a run at her. Treat the Commodore like a traumatized witness, see what he does remember and what can be pieced together from that. Eastman out." =A= She turned her attention to Chloe, who had more to say, and therefore more to answer. "It's a difficult situation. It's hard to believe the Alliance isn't at least partly responsible, but moving too fast, too early, and without enough evidence could backfire. We don't want our efforts written off as the work of a vengeful crew with a half-senile captain. It definitely won't make the Nyberrites unlearn whatever they've learned from Perry." To some degree, Judy believed that the facts didn't matter as much in Starfleet as they used to back in her day. If the Admirals wanted to continue playing nice with the Nybbies, they'd find an excuse, just like Caldonia.
[Lt. Commander Isaiah Quinn - Sickbay, Front Ear Station ] Isaiah watched carefully as Ms. Mazal proceeded to help Commodore Perry 'remember.' Isaiah wasn't entirely certain what this exercise would reveal, but he was content to let the facts play out. This particular practice didn't seem to meet the Nyberrite physician's approval as he started to take his leave. Niles asked after the doctor, but the Breen offered little of an answer as he took leave. It was admittedly strange, but Dr. Bel also had no obligation to remain in Sickbay being that Commodore Perry had been officially received from Nyberrite custody. There didn't seem to be any physical issues to occur during the procedure, but Commodore Perry did hint at remembering something. Or at least parts of something: A lab... and someone working with a purpose... not torture. Isaiah could only assume that it was Leanna's expertise that led her to pull even more from Perry's memory, that scientists had been digging in Perry's memory. She had also discovered some sort of psychic block. One more powerful than she had encountered before. They weren't able to learn much more as Perry called for them to stop. Clearly the strain pulling at that psychic block was uncomfortable to say the least. Dr. Paawin mentioned that that would be enough for now, and that it was okay for them to report their findings to the Captain. Clearly, he felt that his patient had reached his saturation point for interrogation for the day. "Thank you, Doctor," Isaiah said with a nod. He then looked towards Leanna and Perry. "Leanna." He nodded and offered a slight smile at the Betazoid who had been incredibly helpful. They certainly wouldn't have been able to learn as much as they had without her. "Try to get some rest, sir." Those were his departing words to the Commodore as he nodded towards Yvonna who remained. Isaiah proceeded towards the exit of Sickbay along with Niles. The tactical officer was prompt in calling the Captain and reporting their findings. Quinn didn't say anything towards his suggestion at inviting Vasser and the rest of her officers back to the conference room. Captain Eastman settled for delaying the Soteria's departure instead, suggesting that they'd need much more if they were to take a run at Vasser. As the com ended, Quinn finally broke his silence. "The Captain is right," he began, "but stalling is only going to get us so far. Vasser will see through that almost immediately. Which means, if there's a thread to pull, we need to find it soon." Quinn took a deep breath as he mentally recalled everything they had learned. "To be fair, not once did either Perry or Leanna mention that these scientists were from the Nyberrite Alliance. Of course that doesn't absolve them of guilt either. And that psychic block... it may be there to protect someone's secrets or Perry himself. Maybe even both." Quinn wasn't so sure that he believed that, but this delicate house of cards between Starfleet and the Alliance made it necessary to at least consider the possibility. "Right now, there's no one that can give us the answers to those questions, so perhaps we should focus on someone who actually can give us answers about Perry," Quinn said.
[NPC - Lieutenant (j.g.) Yvonna Teller-Wright - Sickbay, Front Ear Station ] Yvonna certainly had her reservations about this procedure, but she couldn't think of a reason to object, especially if Perry was willing to undergo the procedure voluntarily. It was about that time that Dr. Bel decided to take his leave. The Breen's decision to depart when he did certainly seemed to capture Josh's attention. Yvonna had to agree that it was odd, but right now her primary concern was Perry. As the procedure concluded at Commodore Perry's request, Yvonna was certainly concerned about this psychic block. Apparently probing at it and trying to surpass it seemed painful for Perry. It made Yvonna wonder if it was some heavily traumatic experience that it was concealing. "This block you mentioned, was there any indication if it was artificial or naturally constructed?" she asked Leanna. She knew that Betazoids had such capabilities to erect such protections from traumatic memories. However, the human brain did have the ability to protect the psyche from such memories as well through memory loss. Of course, the counselor was ready to submit to Ms. Mazal's expertise being the only telepath presently in the room. WARNING - SENSITIVE CONTENT - reference to predatory behaviors[NPC - Rimi Mora - Spotty Alibi, Promenade, Front Ear Station ] Rimi wasn't certain if relief was the right word, especially sense she kept looking over her shoulder to see if Bolton had followed suit. Though when it seemed that they had gotten far enough away, Rimi's liberator spoke mentioning that she had looked as if she needed rescuing back there. Rimi wasn't entirely certain that she trusted this woman either. After all, her judge of character clearly wasn't what she thought it had been. Yet, the sense of being threatened was apparent with her. "Um... yeah. I guess so," she said mousily. Her head twirled a bit to again check her surroundings to see if she had been followed and simply missed Bolton. She was then asked what her name was and whether or not she was visiting the station. "What? No, I... I live here. My dad's an engineer... Starfleet." Somehow, just uttering those words seemed like an additional layer of protection. Whether it was just the thought of her father, or the hope that mentioning Starfleet would deter any sinister intentions, Rimi wasn't entirely certain. Still, this woman didn't seem like a threat. In fact, it did feel like the exact opposite.

Tag: Judith Eastman (Perry), Jovireh Velal (Riyo), Leanna Mazal (soft) It was a good thing the Captain had been the one to close the line, for one Lieutenant Niles was starting to get the clear impression that even if he suggested that water was wet, Eastman would reject it out of hand and request that confirmation from Science. She was so bloody concerned with playing nice that she would allow the Nyberrites to get away with impeding search and rescue efforts for the Lusitania, just as she had meekly accepted to abandon their people behind on Caldonia. Hell, she had been in the room when Vasser had said very specifically that she was not at liberty to reveal more information... which meant she had the information, and then flat-out lied when she said it was simply not a case of her not having anything pertinent to share. And Quinn agreed with her. "Sir, we know Colonel Vasser is withholding critical information both about the Commodore and the Lusitania. And seeing how damn fast that doctor of theirs ran off when a mental probe was suggested? There's a lot they don't want us to know. There is enough probable cause to hold them for a good long time, but the Captain wants hard evidence, and because we're dealing with the Commodore's head right now, we don't have any. The closest we've got is an assurance by Ms. Mazal that the block was artificial, and her seeing the Commodore was forcibly held in a medical facility. All I have to throw at this is that the Nyberrites were the last known link in the chain of medical custody, and we have absolutely no reason to believe the charts they turned over with the Commodore are factual, or complete."There could be no hiding his frustration. He had worked at his investigative technique, but he damn well knew he'd never be one to teach classes about it. But he also what it was like when there was no hard evidence to work with... and no doubt he'd be blamed for the lack of a figurative smoking gun held by a red-handed culprit who would confess everything with just a stern look. And treating the Commodore as a 'traumatized patient', which he was? Any testimony from him would be suspect without hard evidence to back it on those precise grounds. This was like trying to locate something without a subspace signature and too low a gravimetric profile to register on modern sensors and having to rely strictly on their light-speed emissions... and then his eyes lit up just as the physics of light-lag entered his mind. "Light-lag... Lag time... Sir, I have an idea. It's a long shot, but that's all I've got right now."With those words said, he turned right back into Sickbay mere moments after having been kicked out, armed with that notion. "Doctor Paawin, could you run a detailed scan of the Commodore for me, please? Specifically, I would like you to check his hair and nails, bones, fat, any tissue really, where any traces of medications or drugs could accumulate, and check that against his known medical history and the charts handed to us by the Nyberrites. If anyone used chemicals to wipe his memory and help set up that mental block, there's bound to be traces somewhere. Or, for that matter, if there are any inconsitencies between what you find, and what's been handed over."This was truly his last-ditch effort to look for hard evidence. After that, well, hopefully there were other avenues being explored, and not being able to magically conjure up something useful wouldn't be held against him.

[Lt. "Should I tell my asset to...take a risk?" [Capt. Judith Eastman(-Williams), PhD - Conference Room]After getting contact from Mabel, Judy shot off a brief response. Mabel: The Nybbies are offering manhunt help. JEW: I need them chasing Moz on my promenade like I need a hole in the head. JEW: Turn them down. Mabel, after so much time as Judy's aide, would know to recognize the Yiddishism and understand it. Judy refocused on those in the room with her. "Yes, I suppose we'll have to take a risk. Let's set that in motion, but... cautiously. Tell our asset to cut loose at the first sign of trouble."Judy didn't want an international incident, but at the very least, she could try to get something in the direction of justice. That's what Starfleet was supposed to be about.
As for Pierce, he would get a blanket denial, the freighter captain professing only to a mechanical failure in a cargo door.

[NPC - Lieutenant (j.g.) Yvonna Teller-Wright - Sickbay, Front Ear Station ] Yvonna nodded as Leanna answered her question. It was disturbing to learn that someone would go to such lengths to conceal what had happened to Commodore Perry. It was possible it was for the humanitarian reasons, but the questions that still remained were who and why. Yvonna quickly got the hint that this wasn't meant to be an extended discussion as Dr. Paawin gestured for Leanna to rest. The counselor had to admit, she found the dynamic between them... interesting. It wasn't exactly a workplace romance given that Leanna wasn't a member of Starfleet, but the good doctor had had no reservations about inviting her into his world. [ LT Joshua Niles - Sickbay, Front Ear Station ]It was a good thing the Captain had been the one to close the line, for one Lieutenant Niles was starting to get the clear impression that even if he suggested that water was wet, Eastman would reject it out of hand and request that confirmation from Science. He knew he was a patient, but he was also a person, and an increasingly exasperated one. "Folks, I am - was - a Starfleet officer. You don't have to talk past me. Just give me a raktajino." Calvin knew he couldn't order anyone around anymore, but he hoped someone would forget that. He wanted to be helpful, and he couldn't stand being treated like a child.

Calvin knew he couldn't order anyone around anymore, but he hoped someone would forget that. He wanted to be helpful, and he couldn't stand being treated like a child. Lt. Commander Isaiah Quinn - Sickbay, Front Ear Station ] Niles made certain to point out that he was aware that Vasser was withholding information. He had also observed that the Nyberrite physician, Dr. Bel, had made a quick exit when the telepathic probing had began. He may have been right about being able to argue enough probable cause to attempt to hold the Nyberrite for questioning, but Captain Eastman's call was the right one. Before such a move could be made, actual hard evidence was necessary. And that was the one thing that they were lacking. Niles was frustrated, and it was pretty obvious. "Just a second," Isaiah said as he paused for a moment. "I know that you're frustrated. Believe me, you're not the only one." Isaiah had his own reasons for being frustrated, but that was hardly the issue. "However, just like any case, it's not what you know, it's what you can prove. And right now, that isn't much." Quinn paused. He wasn't telling Niles anything he didn't know, and the last thing he wanted to do was add to the tactical officer's frustrations. "Listen, Vasser is incredibly clever," Isaiah said. "She's very intentional about what she does and what she says. But, she's only one person. If there's nothing to learn from her, then we move on to the next thing." It was certainly true that they could gather facts elsewhere. Of course, Isaiah found it difficult to believe that whatever Vasser had said was a complete non-starter. Though, without the luxury of having been present for that exchange, even he knew that it was best to move on for now. In fact, it seemed that Niles had some sort of notion of his own. He moved back towards the proper of Sickbay and asked Dr. Paawin to run a detailed scan of Commodore. He appeared to be looking for some sort of chemical traces that could shed some light on the matter. Isaiah wasn't sure about medicines being used to erect the mental block in Perry's head, but it was possible that some inconsistencies could be found in the records Dr. Bel had shared. "I doubt they'd falsify Commodore Perry's records," Isaiah stated. "That would be too easy to detect. Though a series of scan could help us determine the half-life of some of those chemicals... and possibly help construct a timeline of when they were introduced into his system."
[NPC - Lieutenant (j.g.) Yvonna Teller-Wright - Sickbay, Front Ear Station ] Commodore Perry's outburst shouldn't have been a surprise. He was a high-ranking officer used to being kept in the loop and knowing exactly what was going on. However, now, it seemed as if he were the exact opposite. The 'object' of discussion, and everyone seemed to be talking about him... at him, but not too him. "Sir, you still are very much Starfleet," Yvonna stated reassuringly. "However, you're also a patient. So, your well-being is paramount and neither Doctor Paawin, his staff or I are willing to sacrifice that."The counselor took a deep breath. "Now, I will yield to Dr. Paawin's expertise as to whether or not a raktajino is something that you need right now," Yvonna said. "However, if you want to talk more about what happened... maybe jar more of your memory with just a conversation, I'm willing to help you do that, sir." She hoped that it was a compromise the man could accept. Of course, she did not envy Riyo's position of possibly denying this man a hearty dose of Klingon-level caffeine.

[Lt. Paawin Riyo - Front Ear - Primary Sickbay]When Lt. Niles came back in and asked him to run scans for any lingering traces of drugs, Riyo looked over at him and simply nodded an acknowledgement. He didn't feel the need to explain that was part of the level three diagnostic he had already ordered, and just hadn't had a chance to examine the results yet. Turning his attention back to his patient, Riyo sighed softly at the refusal of a sedative. "Alright, since your vitals are steady and stable, I'll compromise. I won't give you a sedative, but I'm also not going to give you anything to keep you awake, either." Trusting the counselor to do what she could to help Perry find the answers he was looking for, he moved back towards the desk in the corner where the data compilation of the Commodore's medical files was waiting for him. As he passed Lea, he briefly touched her arm. "Just let me know if you need anything," he told her quietly. Taking a seat at the desk, he began to review the information, comparing the new scans with both what Dr. Bel had given him and the Commodore's old files.

[ Matthew Harmon - Avi's Workshop ] Matt was entirely unfazed by Avi's hissing and yelling and fist shaking. I will make sure he is somewhere safe." [ Avi Moz | Promenade towards docking ring ]Avi didn't have anything else to say to Harmon who, Avi suspected, probably thought he was doing the right thing, fueled either by the guilt of having started this whole mess or the simple arrogance of believing he knew what was best for everyone around him. She crossed her palms over her chest in the Alpha Centauri manner and bowed from beneath the disguise. "May the stars shit in your bed, traveller," she said then swept away. The disguise would be helpful for about as long as it took Lynch to sing a song, but it would be enough. Avi didn't actually know where Mott got off too, and for now it was enough that Harmon didn't either. Mott knew how to take care of himself, or at least she hoped so. For now, she needed answers. She headed away from the Promenade toward the docking ring. FYI Matthew Harmon Jovireh Velal
