[Family Quarters - Civilian Decks] Telling Shadow that he couldn't have anything was almost like dealing with a child, although Leanna had learned not to give into the pup all the time. As difficult as it was to do so and the fact that she knew his parentage, she had gotten wise and not let herself get wrapped around his little paw. That didn't stop deter the puppy from following Max back into the bedroom, no doubt hoping for some scraps or for one of the shrimp to fall in front of him. Then there was the fact that Max had brought shrimp with him and was glad that she hadn't ordered any food from the Beta yet. Thinking it was very thoughtful of him to do and smiled as he then spoke. " Thank you, I appreciate it Max and why not, it's always good to indulge every now and then" Lea replied, grinning slightly as Max then helped himself. " Feel free to pull up that chair over there and make yourself comfortable".If they were going to eat shrimp and chat, they both should be comfortable whilst doing so and having Max visit was a good way for them to catch up properly.
tag Judith Eastman [NPC - Max Williams - Family Quarters]Max didn't need any more encouragement, as he promptly pulled up the chair in question. "How are the twins treating you?" he asked. "Must be a wee bit crowded for them in there?"Max knew a thing or two about pregnancies, having accompanied his wife through two, but each was different, and never more so than where hybrid physiology was involved.

[Family Quarters - Civilian Decks] Now that Max had pulled up the offered chair, Leanna adjusted her position slightly in order to talk to him better. When then asked about the twins and how crowded it must be for the growing babies, the Betazoid had learned not to pretend that everything was perfect. Again this was new territory for Lea and knowing Max as she did, saw no point in being nothing but honest with him. Besides it was likely that Seamus had already updated the team on how she was. " Aside from the complications and having to take extra supplements, they're treating me okay but I won't lie this hasn't been an easy pregnancy" she admitted, then considered the next part of his question. " Just a bit and they definitely let me know about it, I'm sure they take turns to bounce on my bladder and kick me under my ribs".Taking one of the shrimp, Lea then popped it into her mouth and savoured the taste of the delicious morsel before asking Max a question. It seemed only fair rather than have him listen to her moan. " How about you?, How's the move preparations going?".

Judy sighed, as it became apparent that this was not going to be a quiet day after all. Typical. =A= "I'll be up right away, Lieutenant," =A= she answered, and then beelined for the turbolift, with a swift stride practiced on the streets of Manhattan. She emerged promptly at the comms center, a smaller room than Ops but still nothing to scoff at. "What's our situation?"Judy had a feeling Thea wouldn't be far behind. Worst case, things would have to be repeated.

Together they were able to calm the Tellarite down, eventually sedating him in order to treat his lacerations and broken bones. Satisfied that he would make a full recovery and leaving him to rest. Thea then excused herself so she could mend her lip and change into a clean tunic. Being covered in blood wasn't a new experience for the Doctor, but didn't think it would go down too well or look encouraging when she attended her meeting later. Using the dermal regenerator, the split in her lip was soon healed as the call came through from Myker in Comms. Pausing for a second, Thea thought the name of the ship seemed familiar but couldn't pinpoint the exact reason why. Dismissing it for now, Thea tapped her commbadge. =/\= Acknowledged, I'm on my way =/\= Pulling on her new tunic, Thea adjusted her hair before relaying where she would be, knowing that Judy would likely arrive before her or at the same time. Then without further hesitation made her way to the nearest turbolift. ******** [Comms Center] After what felt like an age, the lift came to a stop and as the doors opened, Thea was given a glimpse of the comm center. A place that she had only visited a handful of times but appreciated it for what it was. It was such an integral part of the station and as she left the lift, could see Judy up ahead. Rather than interrupt as Judy enquired about the situation, Thea acknowledged both her and Myker with a polite nod.

{Quoted Posts} [SCPO Jovireh Velal - Front Ear - Promenade]A voice above the din pulled Jovireh's attention away from the report in her hand. It wasn't necessarily the voice, or even volume, but rather the words spoken that caused her alarm. Security database... Delete... Authentication marker? If someone were actually attempting to hack into and delete files from the station's security database, Jov hoped they wouldn't be stupid enough to be talking about it so openly on the Promenade. Even so, it was worth looking into, and as she glanced in the direction of the voice she immediately realized what was going on when she saw Kova sitting with a hybrid. Jov had heard there were a few people that had been rescued from the graviton ellipse... Mainly because one of them had ended up in the brig. There were also plenty of rumors surrounding the other two. Taking a sip of her coffee, she made her way over to them. "Top right corner," she told the Andorian/Trill hybrid in regard to the authentication mark. While she didn't condone what was happening, she didn't see the harm in helping to make sure nothing important accidentally got deleted in this little exercise. Her gaze then shifted to Kova. "Of all the databases you could be teaching her to hack into, do you really have to use mine?" [ Kova Sh'qaleq - Promenade, Front Ear Station ] Kova already had a few critiques to make to Zyri about her performance, but she wasn't about to answer the girl's question. Experience was the best teacher. Of course, the newly minted Chief of Security, Jovireh Velal, had a different view. She pointed out what Zyri should be looking for, and then directed her attention to Kova, asking why she was showing the girl how to hack into her database. The Andorian assumed she was referring to Security's exclusively. "There in is the problem," Kova announced. "If I had taught her, lessons wouldn't be required now. And it seems since we've parted ways all of the station's cyber securities have... slacked... to put it mildly." Kova felt she was being overly generous with that. In her opinion, it may as well have been an open door to any worthy hacker that desired to infiltrate their systems. "Bit of free advice... you should update your systems using Borg-code. It adapts to unwanted infiltrators and also contains biometric paramters that aren't easily simulated."Of course, that wasn't Kova's problem to deal with. The new Security Chief would hopefully heed her advice and find a way to make it happen. Kova then turned to Zyri. "And you... need to learn to work exclusively with an audience... and not broadcast every thought that's in your head." It was then that the lights in the Blue Beta flickered and then shut off. Kova rolled her eyes and looked back at the Trill/Andorian hybrid. "The sign's lights... not the bar itself."Zyri then pointed something out to Kova. She leaned closer and arched her eyebrow. "I think you already have an infiltration problem. It looks like someone else has breached your firewalls."
[NPC - Zyri Zh'raal - Promenade, Front Ear Station ] Hearing the voice of the security officer, Zyri's eyes widened. Was she in trouble? It didn't sound like she was in trouble... at least not from the woman that was standing there. Though, now she seemed more concerned with Kova. Had she just gotten her shreya in trouble? Maybe that meant she was in trouble. She listened as Kova pointed out some advancements that could me be made. Zyri nodded. She had assumed that Kova had just made things easier. She didn't think the station's firewalls were originally that easy to slip through. As Zyri found Kova's words directed to her about the lights, her eyes widened. "Sorry," she said. Her fingers nimbly danced over the console until the lights promptly came back on. Yet, as she did so, she noticed something else. Something that hadn't been there before. "Uh, shre-- I mean, Kova...?" Zyri shifted her screen so that Kova could inspect it as well. The Andorian nonchalantly and indirectly pointed out to Chief Velal that she had trouble on her hands. "I think it's coming from one of the ships... not the on the station itself."

[ Thea - Comms Center] As soon as Thea heard the word Orion, her gaze immediately moved to woman frozen on the screen, thanks to the mute that Myker had initiated. It didn't take a genius to recognise who it was and memories of Torus VI came flooding back to the young Captain. Judy taking the lead on dealing with the Orion Crime Boss, wasn't an issue for Thea, although had a feeling that she would be talking to Hezula at some point which would be interesting considering their last encounter. Nodding as Judy asked for the audio to be turned back on, Thea then turned her attention to matter of Hezula hacking our system. Not overly surprised that the Orion had wanted everyone to hear that she had arrived. Moving closer to Myker and his question about contacting Security. Thea spoke so they wouldn't be overheard. " Do what you can to lock her out" she said in a hushed tone. " As for security, notify them and make them aware of the situation. We may need a team on standby if our guest comes aboard".That seemed like a good possibility but it all rested on what Hezula wanted. *********** [ Hezula - The Crimson Revenger] Hezula was slowly growing inpatient with the Fleeters taking their time, despite her insistence that they hurry up. When they did acknowledge her, it was infuriating to be put on mute and resisted the urge to fire upon their precious station. No she couldn't do that and would have to satisfy her lust for destruction another way. Times had changed, although she hadn't forgotten their deception or how they had snatched Hunt from her. Yes she had learned everything she could, paying enough latinum to get answers and yet as the one named Eastman spoke to her directly. Hezula studied the old woman for a few seconds, spotting a familiar redhead not far from where Eastman was sat. =CR= I wish to visit the station Captain, in order to find the one you call Dr Hunt. You know what I'm capable of and I won't hesitate to fire on your precious Front Ear ... such a ridiculous name, if I don't get what I want =CR=

[SCPO Jovireh Velal - Front Ear - Promenade]Jov couldn't help but smirk slightly. While she could charge them both for the intrusion, that was a lot of paperwork she didn't feel the need to burden herself with. While it was obvious that Kova had even less love for Starfleet than she'd had before, the Andorian had never posed herself as a threat to station security. The hybrid she was teaching, even less so. "Unfortunately, there isn't anyone quite as skilled as you. But I appreciate the advice; and I'll see if we can find someone who at least sort of knows what they're doing." It really was a shame that Captain Eastman had burned that bridge... But now that Judy was retiring, Jovireh had hope that maybe someday she would be able to rebuild it. Until then... Kova was right. She needed to find someone else to help with their cybernetwork protection. When the pair brought her attention to another - less friendly - intruder, she scowled in concern. "Can you tell what they're trying to do?" The next step would be to notify Ops to have them try to block the hacker out of the systems, but that would go faster if she was able to tell them where to start.

[Family Quarters - Civilian Decks] The nod that Leanna received from Max once she had finished being honest with him, told the Betazoid that what she had said, hadn't been a complete surprise. Not for the first time, she appreciated that Max had an understanding of what she was going through and that she shouldn't feel ashamed for admitting how horrendous everything sounded. As if one cue, there was a moment of discomfort as the either both or one of the babies, decided to make themselves known. Used to it by now, Lea simply took a deep breath as Max then answered her question. Hearing his response, Lea could sympathise with her friend, although from what she could gather, they had a lot more stuff than she had. Not surprising after visiting their quarters a couple of times but had to agree that it would be worth it in the end. " I'm sure it will Max and you're welcome to use any resources at the Beta to help" she replied. " Jack and the others might be willing to offer their services too as they helped us and as for your back, I know a very good Doctor if you need him".Referring to Riyo always brought a sense of pride and happiness to Leanna and whilst she could only offer moral support. Max was one of them and they always did their best to help those who were part of the Beta family.

[ Thea - Comms Center] Thea knew that Myker would do his best to try and keep Hezula out of their systems, until they either discovered the real reason for her visit or find another way to fortify their defences. " I understand and all I can ask is for you to do your best Mr Vulbrix" she replied, still in a quiet tone. Leaving the comms officer to work, Thea chanced a glance towards their Crime Boss visitor. A tug of intrigue played at the CO's curiosity, never once thinking that they would cross paths again after their successful heist all of those months ago. But here they were and as Myker completed her request to alert Security, Thea had to hide her surprise as Hezula asked to not only visit the station but also revealed who she wanted to find. Judy was naturally honest with their guest but Thea didn't know what would happen since Hunt wasn't here and hoped that they could talk her out of attacking the station. ********* [ Hezula - The Crimson Revenger] Taking a moment to digest the old woman's response, Hezula's attention shifted to the arm pad on the chair that she had rightly taken once they had arrived. A sly grin forming on her lips at the attempts being made to stop the hack that she had created. How satisfying that was, considering the news that Hunt wasn't here. Sending a discreet message to have Mace prime their weapons, the Orion enforcer then considered what had been said. =CR= That is most unfortunate, considering how long it has took me to track him down following your deception on Torus VI. I can also assure you that I won't cause any trouble unless this is another trick to deceive me. If it isn't then yes I will still visit your station and as to the reason why I want Hunt, I'd rather discuss that in person =CR=Hezula had learned that it wasn't always beneficial to reveal one's secrets all at once and so they would just have to wait a little longer.

[Family Quarters - Civilian Decks] " Great minds think alike and as long as there's plenty of refreshments then they'll be happy" Leanna replied, settling on a grin rather than chuckle as that hurt these days. Whilst she had been jovial about the boys of the Beta, there was also some truth in what was said. Learning from quite early on, that the majority if not all of them enjoyed a snack or two whenever they helped with anything outside of work. At the mention of his back and the clear reference to Judy, Lea smiled understanding exactly what Max had meant. Of course she had her own masseuse too in the form of Riyo. His back and foot rubs had helped a lot so far in combating the pain and swelling of various limbs thanks to the added pressure on her body. " That's always beneficial" Lea agreed, before he spoke so lovingly and happy about getting his wife back. The Betazoid could only imagine what that would mean, knowing in some ways what she felt whenever Riyo returned from his shift or if had been called away on mission. It was definitely time for Max and Judy to enjoy her retirement and having that pressue taken off them. " I can imagine that Max, you both deserve to have that time together and I don't know what you want to do about the Beta, but I'm happy with whatever you decide".

[Staz Volkova - Front Ear - The Spotty Alibi]
A powerful and sultry voice suddenly filled the bar over the station's com, and for a moment Staz froze. Not only was that not the station's usual type of PSA, but she knew the type of people who had voices like that. She grew up around people who spoke like that. Her heart started hammering in her chest and the hairs on the back of her neck stood on end. They couldn't have found her here already... Unless someone here ratted her out. But then a name was spoken, a name that was definitely not her own, and she released a slow breath. Somebody else had crossed the wrong people. Staz could live with that. Although she wasn't thrilled about this person searching the station. Just because she wasn't the one they had tracked here, doesn't mean they wouldn't recognize her when they saw her. She fidgeted with the leather band over her wrist, making sure the entirety of the brand was covered. If only there was a way to make herself look less human, too...
