[Front Ear - Landing Pad C ---> Chief Engineer's Quarters - Ozu Saya, Domen Kyo, Domen Evekh]
Kyo was surprised to see Saya back so quickly after leaving.
Evekh ran to her, yelling, Mama!
Saya picked him up and turned to her mate. The captain cleared us to get settled in our quarters before anything else. I'll have to meet Judy later to tour engineering and go to a staff meeting, but I have a few hours now.
Good, Kyo answered, putting an arm around Saya and leaning down to kiss the top of her head. I've got almost everything loaded on the anti-grav. He gestured to the small platform that held relatively little actual luggage for themselves as opposed to the several large instrument cases and bags and cases that contained all of Evekh's toys and clothes. Their pet's things made up another third of the pile.
Saya helped load up the last of their things, then put Alieth's harness on and attached the leash. Kyo took charge of the anti-grav cart while Saya went to lift her son again for the long walk ahead of them. The toddler crossed his arms stubbornly and said, I walk, very firmly.
Saya raised a brow, but shrugged and took Evekh's hand in one of her own with Alieth's leash in the other. There was no point in fighting him, he'd likely tire and be willing to be carried soon. They'd taken him hiking a few times, and he always gave up walking within a short time. He was perfectly happy to run around when it was his own choice, but never seemed to have the stamina when they did a physical activity together.
When they exited the ship, Saya looked around critically at the disordered busyness and shook her head. She hoped engineering wouldn't be so bad. Her second in command, George Hugo, would be arriving with his new wife, but not for a few more weeks. The big man would go a long way in helping her establish order.
The small family moved slowly along with the rest of the disembarking crew until they could split off to head for the chief engineer's quarters. They were fortunate to not have to follow most of the rest of the crowd to the main officers' quarters. Kyo felt a little isolated, but it was nice that they didn't have to worry about disturbing any neighbors between playing instruments, screaming/yelling child or honking pet.
Their quarters weren't actually that far from the landing pads, but with the large number of people with luggage all moving more or less in the same direction, it took some time to reach the turbolifts. Evekh was in Saya's arms before they'd reached the 'lift, resting his cheek on her shoulder and absently playing with the end of his mother's braid.
A few minutes later, they stood outside their new home. Saya keyed in a general unlocking code and was relieved to find that it worked. At least the last resident's data had been cleared. The doors slid open revealing a large main room with a long couch flanked by two chairs and a low table before it. But there was something not quite right. The room should have been pristine, but there was a sense of neglect and disuse lingering, dust on the desk off to the right, scuffs on the bulkheads.
Saya's brow furrowed. This should be clean. What is going on? She glanced around. I suppose we can begin to unpack. I'll check the status of the cleaning bots when I go to engineering and make sure some are scheduled as quickly as possible. She checked through the others rooms and determined that they were all in similar shape - not dirty, exactly, but not as they should be. Let's get Evekh's bed set up first. I think he needs a nap.
The toddler shook his head vehemently even as Saya could feel his body sagging in her arms.
Kyo quickly unloaded the luggage from on top of the bed and carried the pieces into the small room that would be Evekh's. Soon he was back and taking the child from Saya to lay him down. Despite protests, Evekh was asleep within a few minutes, leaving his parents to unload the anti-grav cart and put things in the various rooms where they would live. Their instruments went into the 'office', which would be a shared space for them to make music together, as well as Kyo's space to compose while Saya was on duty. She didn't need an office at home in addition to one in engineering.
They'd done this a few times together, so the unpacking proceeded quickly and easily until they decided to take a break and sit on the couch together for a few minutes. Kyo pulled Saya into his arms and just held her as she sighed and relaxed into him. She'd have to go be chief engineer soon, but right now she could just be with her mate and not think too much about the difficult days that would follow.

[Aft Lounge, Deck 10 - USS Mac] [...] Caroline grinned at the woman, not too put off by the frown or the sour words. "Nice turn of phrase that. But you know what you can always find in the middle of nowhere? A bar. Cause there ain't heck all to do but drink. And this much nowhere? Lotsa bars."She nodded sagely, whilst re-arranging her cards yet again. They really weren't in any particular order, but she liked doing something with her hands. It was good they'd arrived, even if it was out in the boondocks. She had energy to burn. "Surprised you've let one of the minions have a go at handling your baby, Lieutenant. Join us, we'll get you a drink ordered up. You can watch me own what's left of Chris' dignity after he loses again." It was an evil giggle then that escaped her, cut short by Flaisl coming over to set their drinks down with a thunk. She wasn't a great waitress by any means, which was probably why she was always scheduled for the early shift. "Will there be anything else?" She asked icily, but considering she was Andorian, that might have just been her normal tone. [Aft Lounge] [...] "Whyyy helloooooo ma'am. I'd stand up buuuuuuuuuuuut..." he said, leaving her to fill in the blanks "I don't do much of that hearing malarkey. Unlike you fancy pip-wearing elite, we don't have the luxury of being able to listen, just follow orders. Speaking of ordersss..." he said, accepting his drink from Flaisl with a wink "That'll be all for now" he said with what he thought was a smooth smile "So... Ma'am" he began again (while attempting to sneak a peek at Cara's cards) "You do the swoosh swoosh and the vroom, don't you?" he inquired with his best impressions of a plane and a car (not that they were good) "I'm sssomething of a pilot... well, I've flown a shuttle... well technically I was a copilot... well technically I was a passenger... nevermind..." he said, giggling again "Cara! Gib 4s!"[ Lieutenant Niamh O'Leary - Aft Lounge, Deck 10, USS Mac] "Alright, twist me rubber arm why don't ye?" O'Leary shook her head, pretending to be put-upon. She held up a hand when McIntyre dismissed the Andorian. "Not so fast, if ye don't mind. I'll have what they're havin'. In a to-go mug. That ye use for coffee."Delightfully devilish, Niamh. As Flaisl moved off, a face on her like a melted welly, she wondered aloud, "Who pissed in your wan's cornflakes?" Service just wasn't what it used to be in the Aft Lounge. Things like that never happened in the Officer Mess. Well, maybe that was because it was always empty. When the thoroughly sauced pair began talking about flying and her Big Mac, she sighed, suddenly feeling a little melancholic. "Aye, should be doing the swoosh swoosh meself, but alas, my pesky sense of fairness has once again ruined my life. Let Lt. Sovaan take a shot." She sniffed. "He seems a good kid, so he does." Niamh couldn't remember how old the Orion was exactly, but everyone was a kid to her. As the friends went back to their cards, Niamh found herself ignoring McIntyre's ramblings in lieu of wondering something. "There might be something to be said for a Front Ear pub crawl."*** [Bridge – S.S. Falcon] [...] “Who bright idea was it to send TWO ships on the same Landing Bay?” The Former Officer said to himself. As he figured that it was close enough that the Sovereign ship would also have a collision alert. As he finished he took a deep breath as he looked at the first available landing bay to land manually. As he arrived he wanted to know who was the Captain of the Sovereign and the Station to give them a piece of his mind. He he powered down the ship. He began walking near the attached Airlock. Within minutes he was off the ship. Incensed to find out who was the CO of that ship and why it was on his right of way. [ Felicity Ellis - Landing Pad C, Front Ear Station] Felicity was shocked to see the ship that had almost ended up a squashed fly on their hull, sharing their pad. She wasn't sure if it was sheer bloody hubris or stupidity, but she was woefully unimpressed. She stood with her arms folded, the yeoman hovering behind her with the grav-sled, waiting to be directed to her new quarters, as she looked over the bucket of bolts next to her sublime, sleek Sovereign. And then its Captain emerged, and her jaw dropped. "Thomas. Bloody. Jett."She could feel that headache begin to worsen. Maybe it wasn't too late to call the CMO back. "I should have known. Only you'd be arrogant enough to take on a starship. What do you need all this Landing Pad space for?" She gestured around the once vast free area of Landing Pad C. "Your ego?"[ Front Ear - Landing Pad C - Commander Priscilla Parsinp] Commander Parsinp was huffing and puffing as she finally made her way to landing pad C, only to find the Mac already landed and the replacement crew already disembarking. She grumbled under her breath. So where was this Felicity Ellis person? Parsinp's eyesight wasn't good enough to see any pips from this distance, so she'd have to ask someone. This prompted more grumbling. Why couldn't this youngun' go away? She was still perfectly capable of running the station, not that old at all. She'd only just turned sixty-one, but no, the admiralty wanted to install a new crew, replace many of the old faces, especially hers. Just because she didn't exactly follow protocols. You, there, she called, pointing imperiously at a man with green-hued skin. Which one is your captain? I'm the commander of this station.Felicity was momentarily distracted from trading barbs with the Officer-turned-civilian by the sound of someone identifying themselves as the Commander of Front Ear, and haranguing her Flight officer. "That would be me." She nodded toward Sovaan; who had been unfortunate enough to be in this woman's line of sight, it seemed. "Captain Ellis. Pleased to meet you, Commander Parsnip."

[ Leanna & Brooke - Landing Pad C, after docking] Once the signal had been given, that it was now safe to disembark and leave the sanctuary of the Mac, so they could finally see what Front Ear had in store for them. Of course both women, would of loved their significant others to be with them, to enjoy this moment. However following their close conversations, each could draw strength from one another to get through it and at least they weren't completely on their own. Ariana was still being well behaved, mesmerised by what she was seeing as she held onto Brooke's hand, the other firmly grasped around her Targ, the Unicorn now in backpack, that also contained, her colouring books and pencils. The Trio continued on their way, towards the security checkpoint, then it was agreed, that they would help each other find their respective new homes and then check the station properly. [ Gregory Ellis - Landing Pad C, Security, Front Ear Station] Greg slipped passed the Security booths, flashing his credentials and offering a quick wave and grin toward Lynch, one of the Security POs he recognised. Then, as sneaky as he could be when surrounded by throngs of departing passengers and crew, he moved off to the side and began walking against the flow of traffic, his eyes searching for a certain dark-haired beauty. When he finally spotted her, hand in hand with Leanna's little girl, his face split into a grin. He could barely contain himself, but he managed it for the sake of surprise. He kept walking until he passed them, careful to keep his head down and his face turned away from them just in case they happened to glance his way. Then he turned back around and crept up behind them. When they came to a stop to join the security queue, Greg approached. A child looked up as he passed by, and the man brought his index finger to his lips in a shushing gesture, then winked. He wrapped an arm around his fiance's waist, and quickly leaned in to whisper in her ear. "Hi, future wife."*** [NPC - Petty Officer 2nd Class Dihiq, son of Kroka - Landing Pad C] Dihiq wasn't good at his job. There was no way around it. This PO2, assigned to Operations and responsible for overseeing one of the mixed Starfleet-Civilian crews loading and unloading vessels, wasn't good at his job. He'd been pushed down into it, after proving inept as a linguist, but he was bad at it. He'd now gotten assigned this particular ship, but he hadn't received any pertinent information - only a very brief info sheet on the vessel itself. "Does anyone have the unloading schedule of the USS Felicity Ellis?" the helpless, short Klingon asked rather loudly, over the whole commotion. Evidently, he had misread the information given to him, or it itself was jumbled. [ Petty Officer Conor Lynch - Landing Pad C, Front Ear Station] Petty Officer Conor Lynch was enjoying himself. He found the bustle of the pad and the new arrivals exciting. These were all potential friends... and potential customers for The Spudriq. He was sure that a goodly amount of them would enjoy a potato. While he arranged the new folk into helpful queues to make lives a bit easier for the Security personnel checking everyone's credentials and manifests, he paused to speak to a few likely looking characters. To those he proudly showed the restaurant's advertisement. There was nothing that got him worked up quite like a decent feed of dinner. Apart from maybe a decent feed of pints. But for this, Old Cheesy was the perfect salesman. He tossed a very casual salute toward Commander Ellis, who was looking dapper in a suit. And while off-duty too. Lynch wondered if he had a job interview. Or perhaps he was due in court? Why else would a man wear a suit, really, unless bound for the slammer or the altar? Or the ground. As the man passed, it was then that Lynch noticed an emaciated-looking Klingon, lost and confused, and searching for an absurdly named ship. "Nah man," he told the young fella as he moved closer to him. He nodded toward the huge Sovereign in the distance. "That one's called the Mac. Captained by Felicity Ellis."

He wrapped an arm around his fiance's waist, and quickly leaned in to whisper in her ear. "Hi, future wife."[ Leanna & Brooke - Landing Pad C, Front Ear] As the queue moved, so did the trio of Lea, Brooke and Ariana, the women talking quietly amongst themselves about everything and anything, particularly about plans for getting something to eat later and checking out their respective new businesses. It was Leanna, who had been called next, when Brooke still holding onto Ari's hand, got the shock of her life, as she felt a strong familiar hand, wrap around her waist, before that voice, that she only got to hear via subspace, whispered into her ear. It took the cafe owner and future Mrs Ellis, a moment to realise that this wasn't a dream, as Leanna grinned, happy to see her friend reunite with her husband to be and the lengths, he had gone to, in order to surprise her. " Its good to see you Greg, I'll leave you two lovebirds to enjoy this moment and I'll catch up with you both later" she said sincerely and happily as she took Ari and moved through Security. " Thanks Lea, see you both later" Brooke replied, before turning to face Greg properly, leaning in for a deep passionate kiss, then pulled back. " Mmm, better do that again, so I know this isn't a dream".So that's what Brooke did, happy and elated to finally be in Greg's arms again, after their time apart and let it linger a little more, as she pressed herself into him. ******** [Thea - The Spudriq]
After disembarking from the ship and being assured that her belongings would be taken to her new quarters, thanks to a very helpful Ensign, who may or may not of taken a shine to the CMO. Thea had gotten through Security and instead of, heading straight to her designated deck and unpacking, the Redhead had decided to stop off for food. It was either that or admit herself to Sickbay for neglecting her own health, through focusing on work and forgetting to eat.
So rather than do that to herself and give a bad example to those working for her, Thea soon found the perfect spot, after hearing about whilst in the queue to get through Security. Potatoes were one of her favourite foods and being able to choose your own toppings and get creative, certainly appealed to Thea and soon enough, she walked into The Spudriq and headed over to an available table, that would also give her the perfect view of the Promenade.

Sovaan turned, hearing Commander Eastman speaking to him. The Lieutenant gave another nod to her when he was commended regarding the ship, even if he did feel that any other Flight Control Officer would have done the same. "Thank you, sir. I'm....inclined to agree. Things don't appear to be very efficient on this station. I was meaning to ask why we-" Sovaan was cut off as he heard someone else calling to him, and turned once more. The Orion stood to attention as the commander of the station approached. Regardless of his thoughts, he had a tendency to respect seniority even without the difference in rank.
His eyes darted over to Felicity, who appeared to be having some kind of...differences with the civilian pilot who had almost collided with them. "This is Captain Ellis, Commander." Soon enough, she introduced herself, and he traded back the nod the Captain gave to him. If there was one job he certainly didn't envy, it was this. Commander Parsnip didn't exactly appear happy to see them, though he could imagine the situation of this place would put anyone in a bad mood.
For now, Sovaan tried to stay patient and just keep his eyes out - he did glance towards that pilot now and again, if only because he was an interesting character. He seemed to know the Captain, and his skill had shown a degree of training at least, along with whatever raw talent he may have. He hadn't seen that level very often; not even amongst some of the other Flight Officers.

Judy took a moment to calibrate, as she figured out how to react to the disgracefully chaotic situation. It was clear someone had to take it in hand, bring order to chaos, and as the First Officer, that was her job. As a longtime Project Manager, it was also her specialty. Even in the biggest of messes, war and parenting, she maintained a measure of organization and order. She eyed the area around, looking for an object she could stand on. While she was even a little above average for a human woman, she was not tall, and it helped to have height when you needed to restore order. She found a crate, handed the leash to Anna, and then climbed onto this crate and clapped twice. "Alright, alright," she called out, using a loudness learned at the Jewish dinner table, hotbed of banter, yelling, and love that it was. "Commander Judy Eastman, First Officer. Let's get some order here. If you need something from Captain Ellis, get in line, and she, or I, can help you, one at a time."Looking to the side, she gave a little head-jerk motion to Max and Anna, signaling for them to get a move on and not wait for her. Given these personalities, she could be here a while.

[mess hall USS MAC Brody] He watched her eat with interest. Rio was definetly an attractive woman and a sassy one, too. A smile tugged on his lips. "Yeah, I'll be working here, too. I'm moving here permanently." He didn't know why but he wanted to share a little bit with her, maybe just because it had been a long, quiet travel. "I'm a geologist....stones, you know. I haven't received my assignment yet but I bet it'll be in the mineralogy department." The ship had docked already and more and more seats were becoming vacant. "So you're just here for a little bit? I wonder what the station is going to be like. I hope it's not one of these old ones, that they wanted to get rid of first but then decided to refurbish." tag Rio Sosa

The conversation was interrupted as the Commander of the Station introduced herself, she talked to another officer and by her tone, she was not polite. This conversation between them would have to stop. Felicity introduced herself. Then Thomas Jett thought it might be appropriate to introduce himself. “Commander, Tom Jett, pleasure meeting you. When you have a moment, not right now. I would like to make a request.” . He then looked at Felicity and said “The sooner I make my request and have what I look the sooner I leave.” . Jett mentioned as he had no intention of staying in the Station any more necessary to get his clue or something about the Icarus. Jett then looked continued looking at Felicity and said sarcastically “I’m sure that would break your heart.”[Sovaan - Landing Pad C, Front Ear]
[Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams), PhD, et al. - Landing Pad C] [...] Judy took a moment to calibrate, as she figured out how to react to the disgracefully chaotic situation. [Felicity Ellis - Landing Pad C, Front Ear Station]"Yes, you!" Felicity responded to Jett's assertion that someone could have died. She narrowed her eyes and was about to suggest he give up guzzling that cheap swill he dared to call whiskey, when something else occurred to her. "Wait, you were cleared for Landing Pad C? We were cleared for Landing Pad C..."Jett was also keen to get the Station Commander's attention. Felicity managed not to roll her eyes at his sarcasm. "I'm sure I'll live," she muttered wryly in response to his heart-break comment. And then... her First Officer took to the stage and started shouting. Felicity kept her expression carefully neutral, a handy skill, really, though inwardly she was very displeased. One did not walk into another's house and start cleaning it. One waited until the other left, and then one took an ax to the remaining furniture. Felicity's eyes slid toward Parsinp, trying to see if she could gauge the extent of the offense taken. The Commander of Front Ear would not have to get in line. "My apologies, Commander," Felicity began, before glancing over at Judy and Sovaan. "Thank you Commander Eastman, Lieutenant Sovaan, please make sure you take advantage of the downtime and get settled in. I'll deal with anything else later."She gestured before her with an arm, her attention back on the woman who was destined for early retirement. Felicity needed this transition to go as smoothly as possible, not just for her people on the Mac, but for those who would stay long after Parsinp left. She began walking, hopeful that by removing the other woman from the crowds, they could have an exchange that might actually prove useful. "This is quite the hive of activity, Commander. You must be kept extremely busy."As she passed Jett she flashed him a warning look. Later, she mouthed, and then tapped beside her commbadge, hoping he'd take the hint and her meaning.

Leanna & Brooke - Landing Pad C, Front Ear] As the queue moved, so did the trio of Lea, Brooke and Ariana, the women talking quietly amongst themselves about everything and anything, particularly about plans for getting something to eat later and checking out their respective new businesses. [ Gregory Ellis - Landing Pad C, Security, Front Ear Station] "Bye, girls!" Greg waved happily at Leanna and little Ari, the grin still splitting his face. What he really wanted to be doing was drinking in the sight of his fiance, but he was also pleased to see the others. "Dinner later, all of us!" He managed to get out before Brooke turned in his arms and faced him. Finally, he thought, his eyes softening as he looked her her. When she closed the distance for a passionate kiss Greg tightened his arms around her and lifted her clean up off the ground. When she pulled back his gaze was darker, his voice gravelly as he suggestively offered, "I can pinch you, if you like."It did feel like a dream. A lovely one, the type he didn't want to wake up from. A pointed cough coming from the people behind them in the queue brought him back to reality, though. Greg laughed and began moving forward, causing Brooke to walk backward while still in his arms. "I think you're next. And then, I need to show you our quarters."*** [Thea - The Spudriq]
[ Margaret "Peggy" Lynch - The Spudriq Potato Bar, Promenade, Front Ear Station] A fine looking girl with a head of red hair walked into Peggy's new, little corner of the Promenade, and her Resting Unimpressed Face relaxed into something a little more pleasant. Forgoing the PADD she picked up an old-fashioned flip notebook and pencil, and wound her way through the closely-packed tables toward the newcomer. "Howeya, love," she greeted pleasantly, using a term of endearment she bestowed upon everyone but Conor. "Something hearty for ya this morning?"With her pencil still in hand, she gestured toward a nearby board that had written specials. "I can recommend our twice-baked Roosters with cream cheese and bacon, or our kale special, if you're one of those vegetaranian types."She turned back around and her lined face creased further as she smiled conspiratorially. "Or can I interest ya in The Great Big Irish Breakfast Spud? Has everything the growing body needs to set ya up for the day."

Given these personalities, she could be here a while. [ Front Ear - Landing Pad C - Commander Priscilla Parsinp] The Orion fellow pointed out the captain, the very young captain, just before the woman answered for herself. Parsinp glared at the mispronunciation of her name. It's Par-sinp, she said, stressing the last syllable grumpily. And then the older woman in uniform, the much older woman, who had to be at least five years Parsinp's senior, climbed up on a crate and started to take control of things. The brazen hussy - trying to take over before she'd even left the station. How could Starfleet have the nerve to send someone so much older when they were forcing her to retire. Now that Parsinp had a better look, this Commander Eastman had to be at least ten years older. The young captain seemed just as intent on taking over, inviting her for a walk on her own station, but the stocky commander followed anyway, wanting to get away from the crowd of new officers invading her home. Course it's busy. Starbases are always busy, she groused.

[Costa - Diamond Dog - Approach, Front Ear Station]=/\= "Oye, Front Ear. Diamond Dog on approach, bearing Seven-Zero-Eight-Eight-Mark-Four, hot an' ready, requestin' berth." =/\= =/\= "Diamond Dog this is Front Ear Actual, we got you. Welcome back. Your usual?" =/\= Costa leaned back in the pilot seat when the station took control, her boots thumping against the console as she raised her legs to make herself more comfortable. =/\= "Ya, taki, Front Ear. The Dog's got a bottle o' soju wit ya name on it." =/\= =/\= "What we like to hear, Captain. Stand by." =/\= She laced her fingers behind her head and threw her eyes up toward the cockpit ceiling above her. Costa loved her ship; it was her home, but this had been one long-ass run. From a financial standpoint it was worth it. So many business people relocating to Front Ear meant a whole lot more merchants to supply to, and more work in the area. The round-trips between Kerelia and Starbase Sierra had been getting tiresome though, and Costa did not do well with same. She'd also lost half of her crew as a result of the constant long hauls, with almost no stops for "fun" to places like Torros or Cloud. The Antares-class ship arrived at Front Ear with a mere half-dozen hands, and a cranky, antsy Captain. But it was time to wake them all up. "Computer, play Costa Wake Up Six."The sound of Klingon opera was followed by thumps from every corner of the Diamond Dog, and she cackled in response.

[Rio Sosa -- mess hall USS MAC Brody]
"Ah, rocks..." Rio grinned. "Well, I've been told more than once that I have those in my head, so we should get along just fine!"
"Not sure how long." Rio shrugged, then observed, "But I don't think I'd mind an older station, when it's new everyone is paranoid about scuffing the deck or being the first to set it on fire. An older station, no one cares, so, you know, more relaxed?"
She laughed at that, then shook her head. "But please don't take that as an invitation to set it on fire, all right? Too much paperwork!"

[Aft Lounge] "I...think its because you can't play cards!" he said while clutching his cards while eyeballing Cara "You didn't want a 9. Ya see... you you you can't play cards! How long... have we know each other and you sssstill can't play cards. You arrre a lost cause, my friend" he postulated before being posed the question of their identities. "Shhhhhh" he hushed dramatically "You can't let anyone hearrrrrrr. Not like these fancy flying machines can't know our names anyway." he giggled as he noticed an approaching person (or two as his vision would have it). "Whyyy helloooooo ma'am. "There might be something to be said for a Front Ear pub crawl."[Aft Lounge, Deck 10, USS Mac] Caroline caught Chris once again attempting what he thought was a sneaky peeky at her cards. If he thought she’d take that sitting down, well she wasn’t gonna stand for that. ”Ah ya old cheat. Ya wanna see m’cards so bad here!” She swatted him on his cheek with her hand of cards. Haven’t got any fours, see? Go fish!”Taking a sip of her Warp Core Breach, she considered Niamh’s words. After another sip, she nodded to herself. ”Sovaan, eh? Big guy, looks like he’s carved from solid rock? Yeah, in my professional opinion, he definitely seems fit to handle things.” She dissolved into a fit of giggles before continuing. ”Yes! Let’s go on an adventure! To the new Frontier… Front Ear… what the heck kinda name is that? Ah well, doesn’t matter. ADVENTURE TIME! Although, hopefully this adventure won’t come with the follow up journey where we hunt for McIntyre’s missing pants. You’re on your own for that one, Pantsless Wonder.”Caroline slammed her cards on the table, rattling the now partially empty cups. ”GIN! I win, now let’s go! There’s shenanigans to be had!” She crowed triumphantly, completely forgetting which card game they’d been playing. Discreetly, yet entirely unimpressed by the drunken display, Flaisl set the to-go cup down in front of Niamh. The drunken idiots had their credit on tab, and she was already looking forward to giving herself a generous tip on their behalf. It was the least they could do.

[Landing Pad C – Front Ear Station]
The Former Officer remained silent when he observed another individual, an older person wearing a red uniform. After seeing the Station Commander that was older than most Starfleet Admirals. He wondered why they were so far away from Earth. He did observe the individual that was Orion by his rank and the fact that he was wearing red gave the impression that he was a ship’s pilot. Not to different than he was years ago.
Tom wondered when he observed the Orion he wondered in his mind what type of pilot was he. Was he instinctual or not. He introduced the Captain well and appeared to be a reliable person.
As Felicity mentioned and the pilot’s comment and his statement it was clear what happened. They were all routed to the same Landing Pad. As he realized what happened he could not help but be still annoyed. It seemed that the place or rather the landing was disorganized. As much as he wanted to take a moment and ask about the CIC, Jett realized he was not a Starfleet Captain anymore and asking those questions would undermine the only Captain the room. It took a while for him to start making things together until the First Officer communicated to him.
As he heard the first Officer, the former officer could not help but cross his arms in a defensive posture. There was a deep sight as he wondered if the First Officer was a little crazy. He wanted to remind her that he knew that this was not the time and the place to deal with his request as they needed to do Starfleet matters. However, he mentioned when they had a moment.
Tom did not care about their mission or why they were here. He was there for his mission. In and out. Trying not to make a sense for everyone he merely responded to Judy. “Pleasure meeting you Commander Eastman. I am sure you all have duties and hence I requested when you all have a moment. I’m sure you all have plenty off stuff to talk about at the moment. ” . As he finished he looked the Commander with a serious look. The Former Officer knew that sometimes First Officer tried to protect their Captain.
The other Commander appeared to ignore him which he was used too. The did not do much as they left he got the message to contact her later. They both needed to talk but maybe in private. Their relationship was different from the rest of the people. He owed his life to her and yet she was the daughter of the person that sentenced him. The man was conflicted but it was not the time and the place for them to talk. She was a Captain and needed to maintain order. As he was…once upon a time, He turned to the Orion Pilot and asked “So Lieutenant Sovaan, what equipment have you flown before” . The man asked as he tried to head into the main center of the base. He looked at him and hope that he could follow him to talk about flight stuff. He needed to find a way to kill time and talking to young pilots like he was years ago is always a good start.
