It is a fact that Andorians are an impulsive race unable to logically work their way through a situation without melting down into some sort of explosive temper tantrum, like the common 3 year old. And considering your race had technology that could lay waste to entire city populations from orbital bombardment perhaps you could ask yourself this question. If your neighbors had that ability, and were prone to explosive irrational fits of rage, wouldn't you keep an eye on them?" he said in his most condescending logical voice. Sven moaned again. She wouldn't even have to clean his retched green blood from the blade. He continued to insult her, and actually had the nerve to insist that she was immature. Her eyes narrowed, as she shook her head slowly. "Careful, Sorrin," Kova warned, "you're sounding a little emotional. One may actually start to think you're afraid of me." Her lips curved into a taunting smile. Truth be told, perhaps he should be. It was then that Sven spoke up, making his annoyance more than apparent. Kova's eyes cut to the human, and then back to Sorrin. The Vulcan may not have realized it, but Sven had probably saved his life... or at least spared him from actual embarrassment. Sorrin confirmed what she'd said earlier about everything losing power with the exceptions of a few select systems. Sven started to stand and move about the security office to retrieve an engineering kit. "Should you be moving around?" she asked. Despite being annoying fragile, humans were remarkably stubborn as well. She turned her attention back to Sorrin. "The 'Andorian?'" Kova repeated. A huff slipped past her lips as she took a single step towards Sorrin. "Here's something else that I'll point out. The Vulcan is an ass!"Her eyes moved towards Sven who seemed to be confused. Her little feud with the Vulcan was set aside once more. "What is it? What's wrong?" she asked. He was acting as if he'd seen a ghost or something. Suddenly, the lights flickered. There was the sound of tiny crackles of electricity and then a loud pop. "The relays! The damage they took must have shorted out the dampening system. Kova moved towards a different panel. She pulled a pair of levers and the series of minute explosions ceased. "An Engineering team is going to have to repair that damaged junction. I may be able to bypass a few relays to regain lighting on the opposite side of the office."Maybe you should sit down, Lieutenant," Kova suggested. "You look a little... pale." She believed that was the correct term. As a pink-skin, he was looking a lot less pink than usual.

[ Ariana & Leanna - Park, Deck 6] The moment Evekh called to Ari and asked to her to go sit with him, she was off as fast as her legs and plate of food would allow her. " Yes, Evekh" she called back, before she managed to reach him, her glow stick bouncing until she reached her friend and carefully sat down beside him. With her daughter happy and Helen content with the cupcakes for now, liking the young girl's tenacity when she took three, Lea decided to settle Aven now that the other children had gotten what they wanted for now. Listening to Michael and Benny as she passed by them, whilst Kyo helped Judy with the light, before the couple themselves sat down with food. Everything seemed normal almost or at least it was them making the best of a bad situation as Lea placed Aven in his stroller. Moving him close to the others and hearing whispered conversation. It was understandable before it changed as they got Benny out of his stroller and Judy made further contact with those outside. As she walked back to the buffet table, movement out of the corner of her eye, caught her attention and wondered if it was simply the shadows playing tricks on her. Another look and everything appeared as it was before. So Lea shook her head and continued, filling her plate and returning to the others as Michael suggested they sing the Birthday Song. " We can if you like, we have lots of time for songs and pass the parcel".

[All Over the Station]As the lights came on, it became much easier to see the Shadows. Against the backdrop of lights, they were quite visible. Moreover, the Shadows appeared to move faster, and in some cases seemingly erratically. However, to other observers, their movements appeared more directed, almost as though they were reacting to... something. Nevertheless, the shadows are still in one's peripheral vision. Look at them directly, and they vanish. | Security Office || lt. Sven Aune | Sorrin |Sven decided it was time to respond to Commander Eastman-Williams. Bremmer had been just outside the bar when the lights came back online. To the Crewman, it was as though a form of a weight was taken off her shoulders. The pitch darkness of the station had been oppressive in ways even a moonless, overcast night under a thick canopy of trees could never be and even though the artificial lights were nothing like the light of a system's primary through a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere, it was a vast improvement. However, there was something else going on. The shadows she thought she had seen? She could see some of them now, while not directly she could see them far more clearly than before, and her eyes widened. "Co to sakra?!" she exclaimed at the sight of the shadow that was lacking a source. That was... well they said Starfleet dealt with the unknown, but this was entirely too far beyond the pale from where she was concerned. Give her pirates, smugglers, renegades, wild beasts or people who got handsy in a bar, even emergency damage control, those she could handle. And just as her mind was trying to wrap itself around what she had said, there was a loud pop and when she turned her head towards its source, she could see how the door the security office partially opened, revealing a cloud of smoke, and through the gap she could see Lieutenant Aune, cradling his hand. Well, seeing one of her superiors right now was a good start. Someone who actually spoke her language, and could point her in the right directoin. "Sir, I'll be right back, looks like Mister Aune might need a hand there," she shot to Ensign Neme before jogging across to the Security Office where she saw, and smelled, the damage to the Lieutenant. He looked like he'd been thrown around, and one hand was heavily burnt, and a smell reminiscent of a Sunday pork roast floated through the air. Yep, that was a bad burn all right, and one didn't need to be a doctor to notice that. "Ell-Tee, what the hell did you just do to yourself?"

[ Leanna & Ariana - Park, Deck 6] It seemed as though Lea's tactic for distracting the children with the suggestion of songs and games had the right effect as Kyo agreed that it was a good idea. Despite the minimal lighting, the Betazoid smiled at her friend, especially when he came up with an idea of his own with singing different versions of the birthday song. The added suggestion of a sing along also appealed to the mother of two and it surely keep everyone entertained. " Thanks Kyo and I like the sound of that" she replied, before Kyo lowered his voice and spoke with Judy. Leanna caught the gist of what he was saying and understood his concern. However as little Michael commented about pass the parcel, things seemed to happen all at once as the lights came back following a call from Saya, then another from Sven. Lea quickly turned off the flashlight as her eyes adjusted to the power returning and barely heard Judy as she responded to Sven and Kyo, before her attention moved to something near the buffet table. In fact the Betazoid seemed to focus on it a little longer than one would when encountering shadows, but it was Judy making a station announcement that brought her back to the present. " Mama, are you okay?" Ari asked quietly, which made Lea realise that her little girl had been spooked by something. " Of course sweetheart ... we'll start singing soon".With Ari placated, Lea couldn't help but look back at the spot that had caught her attention, getting the feeling that the shadows were more than shadows. That feeling didn't leave her as Max then suggested that she check on the bar. [ Jack & Seamus - Blue Beta] Despite the obvious bored voice and how Sherry continued to paint her nails by the dim light provided by the torches and solar decorations that now provided some comfort to those who remained. Even the remark made towards the Ferengi only added to her charm further as she then asked if he played Tongo. " I've dabbled a little with Tongo and you're right it is exciting, Sherry, I'll be back shortly" Jack replied, as he left Sherry to her task and made his way towards the supply room, knowing it would take him a little longer to find what he was looking for. ***************** With the aid of his wrist light, Seamus followed Xander over towards the generator, silently praying for some good luck. But the moment Xander looked at him and admitted that he didn't know to work it, Seamus realised that he hadn't shown the newbie, everything and vowed to rectify that properly once this was over. For now it would be a crash course as he moved closer in order to help. " It's supposed to be easy but like everything so far, we're definitely being tested" Seamus admitted, as he used the light to try and locate the activation panel. After several curses including a few Klingon ones, Seamus had to call defeat. " Nope it's not going to work ... " We can if you like, we have lots of time for songs and pass the parcel".
tag Sven Aune Ozu Saya Judith Eastman |Science Lab || Alice Duff|Alice was having fun, and her idea of truth and dare was more on the geeky side of things than freaky. She like to throw curve balls just to see how people reacted to it. She was just about to respond with "I dare you figure out what's happening to the station," when some Henriksen woman interrupted their quasi, most likely psuedo improv-date. She groaned and tried to bat at the offending communicator and was, as best as she could, sound distant and quiet enough not to be heard over said communicator. "Science lab has no theories, because they are a bunch of nerds reading manga and LARPing!" The meer fact that she knew what manga and LARP was, would raise quite a few suspicions. "Well, Andorian science man. How are you going to pull us out of this one?" she teased setting her light down on the desk and casting it against the wall. She stood in front of it and started to pose. Super exaggerated sexy poses just to be silly and distracting. "Chhh boopa chhh, yah, boopa chaa chaa..." she sang in rocking her shoulders. However, for a moment, there was an additional shadow on the wall just out of the corner of Shavan's eye. Of course she didn't see it and proceeded to continue her silly poses! +*+*+*+*+*+*+*+|The shining quartz || Opal Peridot|
Her suggestion was taken with great enthausam by a Klingon. That didn't surprise her. They were a race that loved thrilling stories of daring-do and romance. A passionate people with large appetites, and as much as they wouldn't admit it, hearts for their loved ones.
The Vulcan had asked her if she had any stories. She quivered in the dark, a kind of response meaning yes.
"In a way. We are not a race that thrives off conquest. But rather cooperation. It's in the silicon of the Horta. And after the No-Kill-I incident, we Horta began to hatch from the Chamber to renew our cycle of life. But this time, and with contact with the Federation we proceeded to help with mining operations. More like, how to mine responsibly and safely. But humans are not built to survive in the deep grounds. One particular accident had 27 federation miners trapped. It was a terrible situation. Banning together we were able to safely get them out so those miners could go back to their families. Horta too have strong family ties."
She sat motionless in the light casted by the crystals. "What about you? Any stories." [ Shavan Th’zhaar - Science Lab] Shavan was starting to wonder if his universal translator was malfunctioning, because it felt like he didn’t understand half the things Alice said. He rolled his eyes. Just as he was going to inform her that he had no idea what manga and LARPing were, and that he was only half Andorian, something moved in the corner of his vision. He turned sharply, to look at.. nothing but a shadowed wall. His antennae twitched as he continued to stare into the dark for a moment, before looking back towards Alice, and the shadows cast by whatever silly thing she was doing now. Which he watched, amused, for a moment. Before realizing that didn’t line up. Instinctively Shavan picked up the tricorder again and scanned the empty space. Nothing. So instead he walked over to the doors, which he suddenly had the urge to open. He had nothing else to go on in terms of figuring out what had caused the power surge, but could at least do something to get out of this room if needed. He shone the light on the locking mechanisms. The heavy seals were shut tight, seemingly trapping them in the room. Fortunately, Shavan had a history of breaking into things. “Don’t worry, I’ll save us with nerdy science stuff. No problem.” he said sarcastically, before using some improvised tools from the lab to pry open a wall panel and dismantle the lock’s controlling mechanisms, in a practiced manner not learned from any science textbook. But Alice didn’t need to know that. There was a clunk as the seal was released, and the doors slid open a crack. Despite of the lack of anywhere to go, it made him feel better. “So what about that dare? You’ll have to come up with something harder than get us out of this.”_______ [ T’Laara - The Shining Quartz, Promenade] T’Laara listened as Opal explained a little about her species and the type of stories they would tell each other about their connections with the outside world. “So do we. Most Vulcan stories are lessons about the teachings of Surak.” She made a face. “It is all very logical and wise. But I prefer human stories.” While she turned her attention to Opal’s large, rocky form, a shadow moved in the back of the shop behind them. It was just a darker spot in the corner of her eye. Still, T’Laara looked up, holding her crystal a little tighter. There was nobody back there. With the dim light, flickering crystals, and nervous atmosphere, it could have just been a trick of the eye. But typical Vulcan or not, T’Laara trusted her instincts. “This might sound strange, but did you see that? I mean, sense anyone in the shop just now?” Opal did not have eyes like she did; maybe the Horta could sense something T’Laara couldn’t. Or maybe she had sensed nothing, which would confirm that it was just T’Laara’s imagination. Tag Sven Aune [ Leanna & Ariana - Park, Deck 6] It seemed as though Lea's tactic for distracting the children with the suggestion of songs and games had the right effect as Kyo agreed that it was a good idea. " Yes, good idea Max, knowing Seamus, he'll have thought of something but they can definitely help if they can".Her voice wasn't quite normal but in an attempt to shake it off, Lea reached inside her bag for her communication device and contacted the Blue Beta. =BB= Lea to Seamus, are you all okay and how's things with the bar? ==BB===BB= We're all okay here, the power has come back on thankfully =BB= =BB= That's great news, I want you to help where you can, even if it's taking people in =BB== =BB= Already on it, Boss, I'm headed back into the main area with Xander, will keep you updated and stay safe =BB= =BB= And this is why you're my manager, understood and we will =BB= Ending the comm, Lea looked at her companions. "Is it suppose to do that?" he inquired. But it didn't matter. A few minutes later the station's power came back online. He followed Seamus back into the main bar, then headed over to the door and propped it open. He began to call to the scared people on the promenade, "We have food and drink in here while Star Fleet figures out what's going on."Then he saw it. Two shadows, hunched over what looked like a long and tall box. Almost as if they were working on it. But when he focused his eyes upon it, it vanished. "Seamus!" he called in a panicked voice. "SEAMUS! I could have sworn I saw two figures working on.... something." He pointed to a blank wall. Sherry on the other hand was sitting at her table, dinking with her nail polish. He tapped his badge =A= "Commander, the Magnetic interlocks have sealed in the security office. And are unable to disengage until the power comes back on line. Or until someone can cut us out. Otherwise I'd love....Ohh..." =A= his head throbbed and he felt woozy. Leaving the comm off at this time. "You two, stop." he said as Sorrin was about to make his logical rebuttal. He kept his mouth shut. "We need to get out of here, and as far as I can tell, the only way we can short this is with a power pack. Any ideas?"
Just then the power tried to restore, but the blown relays prevented the magnets from disengaging. One of the lines sparked and snapped. He eyed it. "I have an idea..." He saw it again, shadows on the wall, but when he looked at them, there was nothing there. He ignored it. Right now they needed out. He grabbed the sparking line taking a shocking blow. But he held on hissing through his teeth. He jabbed the end into the magnetic servo assembly. There was pop as he was thrown backwards and the magnets blew apart. The door opened, but Sven lay there cradling a smoking burned palm. [Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams), Max Williams, & Grandchildren - Park][...] =A= "Station residents, this is Commander Eastman.

When he looked over, it had disappeared. "Are you okay?" he asked her in a hushed tone. "I've been a zombie for almost a year, but yeah, why wouldn't I be?" she answered, always with an artificial heart joke up her sleeve. "I thought I saw something, that's all," he explained. [ Kova Sh'qaleq - Security Office, Promenade, Front Ear Station] It all happened so quickly, but it was certainly a helluva way to get both Sorrin and her own's attention. Kova jumped at the sound of the loud pop, though it was more the aftermath than the actual pop that was a real shock. Sven had took hold of one of the live wires and grabbed the locking mechanism on the door. Essentially, using himself as a wire to feed power into the latch. The sight of him literally smoking and the acrid scent of burned flesh was all the evidence she needed. He'd lost it. "What in the actual hell?!" Kova called out as she moved across the office towards him. Sure he had gotten the door open, but there was assuredly an easier way. One perhaps, where pink-skins didn't decide to impersonate a slab of scroched beef. And just like that, Sven was back to giving orders. He was more concerned about determining if their files were secure and if they'd been hacked. There was also the added bonus that he'd flushed the Vulcan, Sorrin, out the door with all due haste. "Sabotaged? How'd you ever arrive at such a theory? Kova stated with all due sarcasm. Surely, Sven could read that. She tapped away at her console, attempting to do as he asked. "If anyone tried to access the files, they most likely attempted to do so remotely. Nevertheless, there's an additional layer of encryption that should kick in if our files are not accessed on the station or by an authorized user. It'll keep them busy enough until...." she had been checking to see if files had been accessed when they were joined by someone else. Crewman Bremmer was the first to arrive from the promenade. After making her way in, she quickly asked after him. Sven tried to minimize his actions, but still had enough sense to ask for a medic. "You shocked yourself," Kova corrected him as he said he had opened a door. "And truth be told, your imitation of an EPS relay kinda sucks." Sven mentioned seeing something, a shadow. He then mused about the idea of thinking he was going crazy. "I think it's safe to say you've passed crazy and are bordering deranged. If that wire had been at full strength...."Before too long, a voice could be heard going on about second and third degree burns. Kova looked up and sighed heavily as she rolled her eyes. "Aw, not another one," she mumbled to herself at the sight of the Vulcan doctor. Still, Sorrin seemed to go out of his way to be a pain in Kova's blue backside. Perhaps this one would be different. She went on to treat him, but seemed to have a similar reaction as had Sven. And she too mentioned shadows. Kova closed her eyes a moment. It seemed the crazy was possibly infectious. Though, just as any Vulcan would, she had a hypothesis: living shadows. Sven then asked if Kova could contact ops. For a moment, Kova stood there, pondering. "You want me to co ntact Ops to tell them that random shadows are running around the station?" she asked. It sounded even crazier out loud. If anything, they'd send down a couple of straight jackets for these two. Kova had to make certain that no one looped her in with this bunch. "Yeah... sure. I can do that. Kova proceeded to open the channel. "Just make sure you're real specific about who saw what." Meanwhile, Kova's attention shifted to her console. The only shadows she was looking for were those attached to humanoids fumbling around in areas that they had no business being in. Though, for the time being, the last thing she wanted to do was feed into Sven and the Vulcan doctor's delusions. So, she remained tight-lipped on her current search for any signs of infiltration.

[ Ariana & Leanna - Park, Deck 6] Now that Lea had heard from Seamus and confirmed that the bar was ready to help with those who may need it. The Betazoid could feel some of the earlier worry and concern ebb away despite whatever lurked within the shadows. Not that she could forget that particular image as something still bugged her about it and the way they had acted. So either she was going crazy thanks to the sudden light from the darkness or it meant something. However when Kyo moved over to the children and had Evekh join him in singing the Bajoran version of the birthday song, the melodies from father and son, started to sooth her. For Leanna music and singing always seemed to calm her, allowing her to become lost in the lyrics and the beat and forget anything that was troubling her. Although she still couldn't shake the feeling she had associated with the shadows, despite the encouragement from Ariana to sing with them. No she had to focus on the music and fought against whatever this was as she began to sing along. Ari thought it was wonderful and clapped along as she sang, whilst her mother sought solace with the other voices until it came to an end and Judy issued another order. Even as the Eastman - Williams family sang the more classic version, Lea became slightly distracted and not by Ari who thought it was hilarious as she sang along. The reason for her distraction became apparent as she saw the shadow approach Judy, something that Max picked up on. " I saw something too, in fact I keep seeing them and something isn't right" she whispered to the adults, before Helen asked about the Betazoid birthday song. " Mama, can we sing it please"." Of course we can little one".Ignoring the dread in her stomach, Lea focused on the song and then started to sing it in standard along with Ariana. " Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to You.
Happy Birthday to Ariana, Happy Birthday to You.
From good friends and true, from old friends and new.
May good luck go with you and happiness too".

|Blue Beta Bar and Grill| Xander McGrath | Sherry X. |Xander was hopeful that the generator would at least kick on. He crossed is fingers, as childish as that was, but it was a superstition that he could never shake. As Seamus kicked the device over there was a glimmer of hope, but when that too failed.... When the lights flickered back on, she make some off handed remark about Star Fleet finally getting their collected hides in gear as a girl cannot look fabulous in the absence of light. And then she saw it too, and let off a ear piercing scream knocking her polish over. "AAAAAAHHHH!" The red paint dripping into a puddle on the floor. She pointed at the same wall as Xander, though once she focused on it, there was nothing there. Tag Thea Baker [ Anya, Seamus & Jack - Blue Beta] " Thank you, we will" Anya responded, before the security officer left in order to check on other locations. The Server watched her leave, silently wishing them well in their search, then got back to work, especially with the power coming back on. As for Seamus, he was relieved to hear from Leanna when his friend and boss, checked in with him, which made him pause slightly to answer her, leaving Xander to make his announcement to those who might be outside and needed some refuge from the strangeness that had happened. Ending the call with Lea, Seamus looked around the bar, glad to have things relatively back to normal, that was until Xander called out to him in a scared and panicked voice. The Irishman rushed over to the other man and followed his gaze towards the now blank wall as he explained what he had seen. However before he could answer him and try to calm him, there was another scream from the woman who had helped them earlier, watching as the nail varnish began to drip on the floor. " Okay I'm not sure what you saw ... but Jack get them something for the shock until we can figure out what's going on".Jack nodded in acknowledgement and made for the bar, where he poured two large shots of whiskey and returned, handing one to Xander before placing the other in front of Sherry. " Drink and I'll clean this up".

" The bar's ready to help and everything seems fine, which is good news".[ Domen Kyo - Park] The lights came on, and while Judy and Lea were busy taking care of business, Kyo moved over by the kids and sat cross-legged. Let's sing our 'Happy Birthday' song for Ari, Evekh. We'll sing it in Bajoran first, then in Federation so everyone can join, okay?Okay! Evekh answered. Kyo started out quietly in his deep voice, and Evekh quickly picked up the tune in a high, clear soparano, matching his father's pitch almost perfectly, showing that he'd received musical talent from both of his parents. It was a jaunty song and they both clapped along. After one time through, Kyo switched to English so that everyone could sing along. Happy birthday, happy birthday It's your special day! Happy birthday, happy birthday Is what we're here to say.
May your day be fun and bright, May your day have joy! Happy birthday, happy birthday It's your special day!
Tag Judith Eastman and Leanna Mazal [Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams), Max Williams, & Grandchildren - Park]Max breathed a sigh of relief. In the brief time (only a few months) that he'd worked at the Blue Beta, his coworkers had become his friends, after all. The knowledge certainly made it easier for the party to go on. Michael saw Lea appear... off, but he didn't intrude. He was also captivated by Grandma's announcement, a nexus of calm that she was. Having been through a few Bajoran birthdays, especially in the last 5 years, Judy joined into the English version, taking it on with an infusion of affection in her voice. Michael tried his voice too, although he was not as musical as the Domens, or as his grandmother. Judy held up a finger after they were done, to issue another brief order. =A= "Eastman to Ops. You can direct individuals on the Promenade to the Blue Beta. They're safe there," =A= she ordered. "Okay, now we can sing."Judy, Max, and the grandchildren began to sing the classic, English-language birthday song. "Happy birthday to you," they began. Then, Helen got a devilish sparkle in her eye. "Happy birthday to you," the rest of the family repeated, but Helen sang, "You live in a zoo.""Happy birthday dear Ari," they continued, excluding Helen who sang, "You look like a monkey.""Happy birthday to you," the Eastman-Williams family finished, bar Helen belting, "And you smell like one too!"Judy shook her head at Helen, while Max saw out of the corner of his eye a Shadow seem to run into Judy's back. "What's the Betazoid birthday song?" Helen asked.

tag Ozu Saya Judith Eastman[ Domen Kyo - Park] Evekh giggled delightedly at Helen's modification of the birthday song. It was much more interesting than the boring normal one, even better than the Bajoran one, which was his favorite. Kyo sang along with the other songs, but kept an ear on what Judy and Lea were saying when they spoke through their comms. He was resisting the urge to call Saya and make sure she was okay. Even with the lights back on, there seemed to be something a little off. It was one of those times that Kyo felt all but useless. Oh, he could help take care of the kids and keep them calm, but he regretted not having more applicable skills than music.

|Security Office, Promanade || Lt. Sven Aune || Sorrin |Sven coughed. He had done something extremely rash, but he wanted the bickering to end. It was worse than a delegation of Tellurites. His hand was completely numb, having burned the nerves. He sat dazed for a moment. "I don't think you'll have to bypass the relays Kova. But I want you to get all the security scan files off the computer. I want to know if we have been sabotaged."Sorrin raised a brow. "That was an illogical course of action, sir."Sven shook his head, "Sorrin, enough. Start a security patrol. I want you and a team of people up on the habitation decks checking in on the residents and offering aid. Bring along medics." Sorrin nodded and left. Sven looked back over at Kova. "I've been seeing shadows, Kova. I think I'm going crazy...And they are doing things."That's when a young fit crewman popped in. She stood there at the entryway. Sven looked up at her. He knew her from the gym. She was a high gravity lifter. Well, not persay. But she worked out in high gravity. "I opened a door, Bremmer." he said simply. "Go fetch a medic.""Kova, can you get in contact with ops?"He held up his combadge. Or what was left of it... [ Ensign Neme, Medical (bio) | Promenade, Blue Beta -> Security ]Neme looked up at the cieling when the lights came on, pleased to see that partial power was restored far earlier than expected. A credit to engineering - Neme was not confident such effectiveness would have been possible under the former commander Parsinp. The newly illuminated Blue Beta confirmed the young woman's evaluation, that no medical assistance was required. The disruption had, in fact, been catered. Neme arched a sharp eyebrow. "Very well. I'll see to other locales. Contact medical immediately should the need arise," they said and left the Blue Beta to attend to their own affairs. Neme spotted Bremmer and moved to join her. It was not hard to miss Aune and the fact that a medic was needed. Neme arrived at the security office, tricorder already going. "Second and third degree burns," they surmised moving the stylus above Aune's hands. "Significant nerve damage. Immediate local anesthesia, initial dermal regeneration called for on-site, nerve repair in sickbay." Neme lifted the stylus to Aune's head. "No signs of concussion." They reached into the med kit for a hypospray to get those hands out of pain. "Are you otherwise -- " Suddenly, Neme snapped their gaze to the left and bristled into high alert. It was the shadow again. "I am becoming certain there is a unidentified entity or entities on the station, but I cannot seem to track them. This is the second time since we left Sickbay." [ Kova Sh'qaleq - Security Office, Promenade, Front Ear Station] It all happened so quickly, but it was certainly a helluva way to get both Sorrin and her own's attention. [ Cwm Eliska Bremmer - Security Office ]
"I'm not going to pretend to be an engineer, but there's other ways to short out a door than reaching in," Bremmer simply grumbled. There had been no need to call for a medic as Ensign Neme had followed her in, but it would seem her presence was bothering the blue-skinned alien. Now which species was she again?? Lurian? That didn't sound right. Lissepian? No, not that either... Oh, right, Bolian, they were blue, right? Well, if there was some kind of bad blood between Bolians, or at least that individual, and Vulcans, the Crewman certainly didn't know about it, and unless it would turn into a brawl, she didn't really want to know about it either. However, at the mention of shadows, which seemed to draw an incredulous response, Eliska's eyes snapped towards the Lieutenant. So he'd seen them too? Well then... "Ell-Tee? Those shadows that don't belong, it's not getting yourself zapped talking, or banging your head. I've seen them too. But the moment you look at them head-on, you lose them. You can only see them out the corner of your eye. Won't lie, that's weirding me out some."
