[NPC - PO1 S'Riia- Kirby's, Starbase Sigma 4] [...] "It's really nothing to fuss about," S'Riia went on. "I plan to forget all about it, and have no intention of him ever finding out." Hell, did he even know if she existed? Probably not. Besides, their paths rarely crossed and he likely had absolutely no interest. The last thing S'Riia wanted was to be on the end of a conversation about professionalism in the workplace form him. "Besides," S'Riia continued, "I'm more interested in learning how you know... what you know." S'Riia was still quite selective about her words, not wanting to drop any inadvertent hints.
[NPC - 2nd Lieutenant Neema - Kirby's, Plaza Level Starbase Sigma 4][...] Neema's eyes traveled to each of them, with an apologetic look on her face. "Perhaps there was some sort of glitch in its transmission," Neema said. She hung her head slightly. "I mean, it's not like you all didn't read it."[[ PO2 Bav Th'cherreq - Kirby's] [..] "Five thousand words? You don't seriously think anyone would read that? That's clearly a deliberate tactic to obfuscate and confuse by burrying us in paperwork," he snorted. He then took a final sip from his drink, finishing it and standing up. "This has been fun," he said somewhat sarcastically but staring directly at S'Riia and grinning. "But I'm going to go for a walk." Without looking back or waiting for any response he walked away, searching for somewhere or someone of note [ PO2 Kaya Som | Kirby's Sigma 4 ]Kaya still couldn't stop giggling. He ate more of the crunchy insects like popcorn, taking a certain pleasure in her friend's discomfort. It's what she deserved not dishing with Kaya about her secret dream boyfriend earlier and it took a secret undercover Nyberrite intelligence spy to bring it to light. Or something. She snorted when Neema made the crack about them all reading reports, as if they'd provide that to the not-officers. Or maybe she had and Kaya was too funked out to bother. Either way. "Why, what's in it? Your status as a secret agent?" Kaya teased Neema. But Bazvwas leaving. "Bav!" Kaya raised her voice after the Andorian who brought a certain necessary cynicism to the little gathering. "Excuse me," she said with incongruous courtesy to S'Riia and Neema before impulsively going to follow Bav. She jogged to catch up with him, catching him as he was at the front doors. " What the hell?" she demanded, more concerned about continuing to have a laugh than his well-being, but to be fair, he would hardly want her sympathy. [ James Aubrey - Holodome, Starbase Sigma 4] [...] James turned his head to acknowledge the stranger - her name was Avi Moz, though of course James didn't know that. "I'm - my name is James Aubrey. I'm an ensign on the USS Mac. ... Pleasure to meet you." He forced a wide smile, unnatural and entirely formal. [NPC - Nick Dixon - Holodome, Starbase Sigma 4] Nick shook his head, making his droopy jowls quiver a little with it. Last thing he needed was for the Nyberrites to think he was too tight with the fleet (or vice versa). "I'm just entertaining a guest. There's not a whole lot to it," he explained. "The welcome party missed this kid."And maybe Nick should have as well. Or maybe not. Time will tell. "Are you here for the Holodome, or just patrolling, miss..." the man then inquired. [ Private Avi Moz | Docking Ring, Sigma 4 ]'Miss?' Avi openly scowled at Dixon then shook her head. Ensign Aubrey here was as good as a hologram with his tidy uniform and polite greeting. Great gods. She took another long heavy draw off the cigar. "They let Starfleet onto station? For this?" she asked, although the implications were clear. Either the communication hadn't made it down to Avi's level or she hadn't cared to listen. She'd assumed the war games would be confined to the ships, but apparently not. Great. "I'm due in Engineering," she said. She looked Aubrey up and down again, then said to Dixon, "don't lose him. Chromar thinks there's a spy." She barked a laugh, clapped Aubrey hard on the shoulder and turned to go. Judith Eastman (Dixon), James Aubrey [ James Aubrey - Holodome, Sigma 4] James swallowed hard, hopefully unnoticeably, at Avi's mention of a spy. He felt it would be wisest to avoid saying anything at all lest he should say something incriminating, so he simply smiled at her as she spoke. He breathed a quiet sigh of relief when she finally turned to leave. James took in the sights of the holodome, spinning in place slowly before bringing his attention back to Nick. "So," he said. "Thanks for the help, Nick. I think I can handle myself from here, if you've somewhere else to be." He needed Nick gone - privacy was crucial. He needed an opportunity to look for what Matt had sent him here to find.

[Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams) & Ens. Mabel Henriksen - Bridge, USS Mac]And just like that, they were off to the races. "Well, Ensign, that's what we get for making our equipment do things it doesn't want to. We'll have to make it work," Judy replied to K'Dex, noting the issue but not letting it weigh on her irrationally. After all, she hadn't gotten to where she was by riding the smoothest seas. "Let's hold steady for now. I want to come back around, nothing too fancy yet. When we're able, let's go with that full volley of quantums, and follow that up with a phaser hit. Pick a spot on their primary hull, so we can get the workbees on it later," she ordered. "And standby to send some extra power to the shields, but don't do it just yet."They were still going to affect foolishness for this pass, but there was a plan in play. Judy felt a need to make sure the crew knew that. "We'll get them quickly, forcefully, and elegantly, just as soon as the time is right," she reassured. For medical, there would be a report of one simulated light injury, an unfortunate crewman who had slipped after the hit. The simulated crewman, reflecting the accuracy of the simulation, had a simulated GLT (Gagh, Lettuce, and Tomato) sandwich, and this fact would be accounted for in the form of the hologram in sickbay. [Battle Bridge, USS Mac] K'Dex checked the power systems as the first few hits came across the Mac. "Their fire was targeting starboard nacelle. Preparing to transfer tertiary system power to compensate for loss. Repair teams being sent to the emitters. With permission, I'd like to try and drop the spy probe between the torpedo spread. That close, and that much damage might create enough of a temporary hole for the probe to fly through. If Science plots an estimated trajectory, we might get it to slip between the torpedo spread and to their hull. If not, we would lose the probe." K'Dex reported, his claws tapping a few commands. For now, there wasn't much affected, with just the first pass. Soon though, they'd have to redirect around damaged areas. Taking damage directly to the starboard nacelle would be majorly concerning, as the area there was cramped, and difficult for repair teams, not to mention highly dangerous during combat, even simulated. "Simulation systems seem fully in control." He passed as an afterthought. [Lt. Isaiah Quinn - Battle Bridge, USS Mac] Lt. Quinn continued to man his station. He listened Lt. Niles called out the damage from the Soteria's last run. It appeared that Vasser may have picked out a target. Though, he still was of the mind that she had something a bit less obvious in mind. His eyes continued go over his sensor readings, and he noticed the Nyberrite vessel beginning to arc for another pass.
[NPC - Colonel Helena Vasser - Bridge, NSS Soteria] Vasser felt the slight shutter of the Soteria rocking once again, marking the damage that it had taken. Aft shields down 32%, and it seemed four of her crew would be forced to sit out the rest of the exercise, while another three had to stand by for medical attention. "Helm, initiate pattern Delta-six," she ordered. The Soteria began to come around for another pass, but also dipped along the z-axis so that it could come up for another pass at the Mac from below. It's smaller size, compared to the Sovereign-class vessel, made it much easier for it to turn about. "Captain Mauroos," Vasser said into the air after pressing her comm. "Parliament is in session."
[NPC - Captain Mauroos - Soteria --> Fighter Owl-1] As soon as the order was given, launch commenced. Four fighter craft launched from the Soteria's bays. They quickly fell into a single formation, waiting for their go ahead, already knowing the signal. "You have your target. Stay tight, constant revolutions. The closer we are, the more difficult for their phasers to establish a lock," Mauroos said to the rest of his team. Then, as if on cue, the fighters thrust forward, arching out to come at the Mac from the port side. Their weapons would largely be ineffective against the shields of the Mac. Their phasers barely an annoyance, but they were packing a small number of photon torpedos, which if coordinated could certainly get the Mac's attention. For the time being, they seemed set to nip at the portside ventral phaser banks.
[Lt. Isaiah Quinn - Battle Bridge, USS Mac] Isaiah's console chimed to life, as more of Vasser's strategy apparently began to take shape. "Multiple fighter craft have emerged from the Soteria," Quinn announced. "Moving to our port side. The Soteria itself is still making another run from starboard."
[NPC Colonel Helena Vasser - Bridge, NSS Soteria] Vasser remained in her seat, never taking her eyes off the main viewer. She continued to announce her orders aloud. "Helm, increase speed to one-third impulse, but keep a healthy distance. The last thing we want is to run into is a right cross. Tactical, run phasers and a spread of photon torpedoes. Ops... is Banks' program still operable?" There was a brief confirmation. Vasser then searched her memory and began to type a brief set of instructions to send to ops. "This system only. We want them to scratch, but not too hard." And certainly not yet. "Mauroos, stay tight on the Mac. Don't give them any daylight," Vasser ordered. She simply had to hope that tactical would mind their shots. The Parliament were among the best pilots, but it was all too easy for mistakes to happen in the heat of battle. [Battle Bridge - USS Mac] With some departments in more demand than others as the simulation dictated who's attention it focused more on. Thea did her part by continuing to monitor the effects of said exercise on not only the crew's welfare but who had become a fake yet fully recognised casualty and those who would now be forced out of the battle. Although that didn't stop the CMO from listening to those around her, as they gave reports whilst the ship shock accordingly and it appeared as though Vasser wasn't above playing fair when Isaiah then announced that the other ship had launched fighters, before coming round for another pass. The Colonel was definitely out to win and whilst Thea understood the nature of the game and what each side would potentially gain from it, that didn't stop her from thinking that the Alliance didn't care how they obtained it. Of course it was just a thought but just because they couldn't match them in that way, didn't meant that the Mac would just take it. However for the moment her attention was attuned to her readouts, her first casualty a crewman who had slipped, as well as helped himself to a Gagh, Lettuce & Tomato sandwich, which nearly brought up her breakfast at the thought of it. A slight shudder followed but at least she was impressed by the accuracy of it all and the hologram that was now residing in Sickbay. That was light compared to the other information she received including a Petty Officer with plasma burns and another with a broken leg. Three so far and Thea doubted that it would be the last. " Three simulated casualties so far, one light the other two slightly more serious with plasma burns and a broken leg".[ Lt. jg. Aravis - USS Mac - Battle Bridge Aravis had winced to herself as the Soteria managed a direct hit on one of their nacelles before she could react to get out of the way. When she saw the other ship tilt its nose down, she altered course to keep the Mac's nose more or less pointed at the Soteria and rotated to keep the damaged nacelle out of direct line of sight for their phasers. But then Lt. Quinn announced that there were fighter craft being deployed. She'd have to be careful of them with her maneuvers. It wouldn't do to accidentally destroy one of them. [Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams) - Battle Bridge, USS Mac]Judy took in the arrival of the fighters. This was a valuable opportunity. "Let's stress-test these fighters. Hit one with a full phaser burst. If that knocks it out, hit the next one with something weaker; if not, hit the next one with something stronger. Mabel, record the results," she ordered. "Keep the Soteria occupied with torpedo bursts, and let's make some evasive maneuvers while we're at it. Pattern Epsilon."This was one of the moves Aravis had demo'd in the holodeck. Then, as Judy looked over her shoulder to check up on Mabel, she saw Mabel disappear. "Oy vey izt mir," she muttered. "Mr. K'Dex, check the transporter logs," the XO then ordered, her cool head returning as quickly as it had left. "Mr. Quinn, I want theories if you have them."She took a deep breath, and then tapped her commbadge. =A= "Computer, locate Mabel Henriksen," =A= she ordered the computer. =A= "Ensign Mabel Henriksen is in the Chief Intelligence Officer's office," =A= the computer answered. "At least she's safe," Judy said to herself. [ LT(JG) Joshua Niles - Battle Bridge, USS Mac ]
The Soteria was sticking to the Mac like a bad habit. The Nyberrites were sticking close and not giving much room for Lieutenant Aravis to maneuver freely. However, that hardly meant he wasn't giving as good as he was getting, trading shot for shot with the notional enemy and trying to do nothing out of the ordinary, the sort of things a very junior tactical officer might do, simply hammering at the Soteria without any particular grace. However, when they launched fighters, the young Lieutenant could not help but let out a rather displeased sound. That hadn't been something he had expected, and their maneuvers quickly set the Mac between the small craft and the Soteria, leaving them taking fire from both sides. Perhaps the fighters themselves were not hitting particularly hard, but even a thousand cuts could eventually be lethal, and Soteria wasn't pulling any punches itself. "I don't know how much more we can take from Soteria unless we can get some distance," he reported. However, with the issue of the fighters and the change in his targeting priorities, a dangerous light danced in his eyes for a moment. Oh, it was time for him to show he wasn't just some rookie. "Aye Ma'am, shifting targets."The Mac's torpedo tubes went to rapid-fire mode. Of course, no warheads were being loaded and launched, but the feeding systems were still operating, moving notional weapons into the loading chambers, and the tubes dry-fired as rapidly as they could, and simulated quantum torpedoes started hammering towards the Soteria. As for the fighters, they were elusive targets, dancing about and being immensely hard to target as they wove their lethal patterns along the Mac's port side. he would have a hard time locking onto them, even at the knife-fight range they were working from. However, there was something he could do... Working with the movement of the ship, he picked one of the fighters as a target... but he did not open fire just yet. Instead, he let loose a number of low-power blasts that were not really meant to hit; after all, no one could tell shots were made just for who unless they hit something. But, once he could bring a number of phaser banks to bear on a single fighter, he activated one of the active sensor banks in that arc, blasting it with as much sensor energy as he could muster, hoping to temporarily blind it. And then, he cut loose with his phasers without a hint of mercy.

[Matthew Harmon - Chief Intelligence Officer's Office, USS Mac]
Harmon had been observing Aubrey's painfully terrible attempt at infiltration. It was going about as well as expected. Avi, soon made a surprise appearance potentially complicating things. It had been Harmon's intention that Aubrey would be captured, mess up and feed the false information Harmon had given him to the Alliance. The goal was to confuse the Alliance and potentially provoke an escalation from their end that could further be used as ammunition by Harmon in his arguments to Command against them. Now, all he could do was wait and painfully see what Avi would do. Ideally, she would turn Aubrey in. But it was possible she would try and help him.
As he was left with that thought, he was suddenly interrupted by the unexpected appearance of Mabel in his office. "Mabel," he said with a deadpan expression. "I take it you aren't here by choice?" When it was confirmed that it was unclear who had her transporter there, he rolled his eyes and tapped his commbadge. =/\= Harmon to Bridge. Shut down transporter systems. Find out where they're being accessed from. =/\= He really could have done with Kaya and her skills right about now, but she was on the station. He was then contacted by Security. =/\= Security to Commander Harmon, Bridge. There's something going on in Engineering....I don't know what, we may have an imposter? =/\==/\= I'm on my way. =/\=He stood up, took a phaser from under his desk and turned to Mabel. "Care to join me, Mabel?" the Commander's assistance was quite skilled in many areas. She was often underestimated, but Harmon had learned not do so, with some urging from Chloe, admittedly. [Main Engineering]"What's going on?" he demanded as he entered Engineering. "What is that noise?" he asked with frustration as he heard some noise coming from behind the walls and panels.
"That's why we called, sir," a nervous young Security crewman said. "We thought it was suspicious and were told to contact you if we found anything suspicious."
"This isn't normal, is it?" he double checked with one of the Engineers that was standing around. They shook their heads, puzzled about the causes. "Then get these panels off and figure out what's going on!"
"But sir..."
"Fine then, I'll do it myself if you won't," he was in a particularly irritable mood. He grabbed a tool from a workbench and began removing panels from where the sounds were coming from, doing a deliberately poor job in the hope the engineers would soon do as he had asked out of fear of Harmon breaking something. They were lucky he didn't just start shooting at the walls. After a moment or two, predictably the engineers took over. Eventually, they discovered some small walking devices. "Find out what they are, make sure there are no more hiding," he told the Engineers before turning to the nervous security officer. "Inform the rest of your department about this and make sure they look out for if the same thing is happening elsewhere." He then headed for a small side office and commandeered it, accessing the security footage of Engineering from the past hour or so. "Let's see what we can find, Mabel..."
[NPC - Ens. Mabel Henriksen - Harmon's Office]Mabel's initial look of bafflement at the sudden transporting turned to embarrassment as she materialized in Harmon's office. "No, Sir. I was just on the bridge, and... I'm sorry, Sir," she apologized profusely for what was probably not her fault. "Yes, Sir. I'll come with. I did okay in my engineering classes."[Main Engineering]Mabel stood back, part out of caution and part out of trepidation, as Commander Harmon seemed to be on the verge of losing it. At the very least, she supposed she'd be reporting a lot to Judy. Speaking of Judy... =A= "Henriksen to Eastman. I'm fine. I'm in Main Engineering," =A= she reported. Now, she refocused on Harmon and the damage he was doing. "You can run the new facial recognition software that Ch... Ensign Hudson requested last quarter. It came through just before we left the station, so we just have to install it and run it," she suggested. "It's impressive stuff, from what I can tell, but she's the real expert."There were some talking points, some buzzwords that both Chloe and Judy seemed to understand relating to this software, but Mabel didn't. [LCDR Matthew Harmon - Main Engineering]"Yes good," he said as he followed Mabel's suggestion and began installing the new software Chloe had organised. The technology side of things wasn't at all his thing and the realisation he hadn't even thought of that software, despite its obvious use in this situation, made him realise just how much he had come to depend on his young subordinate. He often struggled to understand Eastman, but her reliance and trust of Mabel was something he could. "Expert or not, you're still better than me at this stuff," he said in a rare moment of support, though he avoided eye contact, his eyes remaining fixed on the screen. Once the software was up he set it to scan and cross references the faces of those in Engineering with crew records. Hopefully the Alliance hadn't thought to tamper with that.

She would have happily followed his ill-intentioned advice and went and had another drink but she saw someone she'd never expected to see. "Avi...!" At the far end of the Plaza at some juncture between civilian and military sections, Avi Moz was driving a small transport rig, loaded down with crates. Kaya jogged over, her face a wash of puzzlement and anger. "What are you doing here?" she exclaimed once she got close. "I thought you were dead. You just left." Avi stopped the rig and wrinkled a nostril. Shit. " Not dead," Avi said hiding any hint of regret, but internally anxious. Kaya was gobsmacked. They'd never labelled it, but Kaya cared for Avi and Avi didn't seem bothered. "You joined the Nyberrite Alliance? And you didn't tell me?" Kaya asked, her voice a hissing whisper. It was the last thing she could ever imagine Avi doing, short of joining Starfleet. Avi leaned down, aware the pair of them were conspicuous and knowing Kaya wasn't going to let up. " Nice detective work. I can't talk now. I'll find you later." Then, Avi loudly shifted gears and raised her voice. " Medical's in admin wing. Two lefts and a right. Welcome to Sigma Four. Don't get lost, Starfleet." With that, she drove off, leaving Kaya standing. A weepiness threatened to well up so Kaya turned and walked the other way, not caring where she was going.

Her immediate reaction was what the hell had just happened, before rationality took over and she began to wonder who had been responsible especially in the middle of a battle situation. However the Ensign was quickly located by Judy which still begged the question of why and who as further orders were issued to counteract what the Alliance had done by bringing fighters into the mix. Although before she could comment or report further or even react, it appeared that it was her turn for the transporter ghoul when the console in front of her disappeared and she suddenly found herself in a dark and cramped place. It took a few minutes for her to fully process where she was and to keep any fear at bay, before she started to feel around for anything solid. Her hands quickly made contact with what appeared to be racks .. and was that weapons .. phasers?. That's when anger began to kick in as to who would think this was funny to just take her like that or was it someone working with the NA as she was sure something would of included this in the mission brief if it was supposed to happen. Then she decided to find a way out so she could go track down the person responsible and so that's what she did.

Tag: Judith Eastman [NPC - Ens. Mabel Henriksen - Main Engineering]Mabel was no technological expert, but she could make it work. "There are no matches from the current crew complement," she reported after the software had finished. "This is a long shot, but the Commander... Commander Eastman and I, have a list of our former personnel, people who left our crew, that we think or know are with the Nyberrites now. Maybe we can check them, just in case?" she pitched a course of action. As much as she had a hard time that the Nyberrites would cheat like that, she had to exhaust all possibilities - Judy liked to warn that "what you and I think is unconscionable, others may call business-as-usual".

[Battle Bridge - USS Mac] [...] That was light compared to the other information she received including a Petty Officer with plasma burns and another with a broken leg. Three so far and Thea doubted that it would be the last. " Three simulated casualties so far, one light the other two slightly more serious with plasma burns and a broken leg".[Lt.
[...] "I don't know how much more we can take from Soteria unless we can get some distance," he reported. [Lt. Isaiah Quinn - Battle Bridge, USS Mac] Things seemed to be happening much more quickly even while Thea reported on the mounting casualties. Yet another layer in Vasser's plan had been revealed when the fighters came into the fray. Lt. Aravis had the added challenge of attempting to avoid not only the Soteria, but its fighters as well... likely more out of concern for their safety than fear of their firepower. And as if compensating all of that enough, another mystery dropped right in their lap as Ensign Henriksen disappeared from the auxiliary station. Quinn had already began to scan for Mabel's signature. He could confirm almost immediately that it had been a transporter beam that had removed her from the Battle Bridge. It was a Federation signature... the Mac's... and it appeared to be a site-to-site transport. As the computer revealed that she was in the Chief Intelligence Officer's office, Isaiah was able to confirm, but was perplexed. "The transport was initiated here on the Mac, and there's no evidence of a malfunction as far as I can tell," Quinn replied to Eastman's request for theories. "That would suggest intent... and possibly an intruder.""I'm not detecting any anomalous bio-signatures," Isaiah said. He felt his body rock slightly as the Mac took another simulated hit. If someone is here, they know how to avoid detection. His hands instinctively reached out to take hold of his station and maintain his balance. Though, when he looked up, he realized that yet another member of the Bridge crew had been transported elsewhere. "Thea!" It was hardly professional, but the shock of her sudden disappearance had taking the Science chief by surprise. He instantly turned his eyes to his console, searching the ship hopeful that he'd detect her signature.

[NPC - Colonel Helena Vasser - Bridge, NSS Soteria] The Bridge of the Soteria rocked once more. The forward shields were taking quite a pounding as they dropped down to 64%. Vasser trusted her engineering crew to keep them in the game. It had certainly proved to be the case thus far. The addition of the fighters seemed to have the desired effect, as the Mac's attention was clearly diverted. "Tactical, another spread of torpedoes. I want their attention on us, not those fighters!" she barked. She watched as even more of the Mac's firepower was focused on the port side. Still, she pressed the Soteria's firepower on its original target. Suddenly, the computer made a loud announcement, signaling that one of the four fighters had been destroyed. It hadn't been Mauroos, or any of the more veteran fighters. That was expected, but it was far from accepted. "Soteria to Owl-1. Tighten your formation on the Mac." Vasser leaned back in her chair. Her strategy was still sound. Though, it seemed it was time for individuals to step up. The Operations officer that occupied Banks' station pressed a few buttons, taking advantage the worm that was currently active. It was a timid attack, but likely one that would build more and more confidence. Aboard the Mac, the lights in Sickbay flickered and the doors slid open and shut randomly.
[Captain Mauroos - Owl-1] Captain Mauroos' attention briefly caught the comm message from the junior pilot that he had apparently taken a direct hit. The Mac had certainly turned up the heat, firing quite a flurry of phaser blasts in their direction. Though, upon hearing Vasser's orders, Mauroos gave the order for the team to do just that. "Attack pattern Beta-6. Full strafing run along saucer section." The ships did their best to manipulate around the Mac in an attempt to meet their destination, but the Matt's pilot seemed quite adept at making their intention rather difficult.

[PO2 Bav Th'cherreq - Kirby's]"Who is he?" Bav laughed as S'Riia squirmed. He was certainly enjoying this. However, Neema then dampened the mood a little with her faux innocence routine. Surely she wasn't this dense? "Five thousand words? You don't seriously think anyone would read that? That's clearly a deliberate tactic to obfuscate and confuse by burrying us in paperwork," he snorted. He then took a final sip from his drink, finishing it and standing up. "This has been fun," he said somewhat sarcastically but staring directly at S'Riia and grinning. "But I'm going to go for a walk." Without looking back or waiting for any response he walked away, searching for somewhere or someone of note. [ PO2 Kaya Som | Kirby's Sigma 4 ]Kaya still couldn't stop giggling. [James Aubrey - Holodome, Sigma 4] James swallowed hard, hopefully unnoticeably, at Avi's mention of a spy. [PO2 Bav Th'cherreq - Sigma 4]Bav rolled his eyes as Kaya pursed him, unsure exactly why. He had assume his unpleasantness would deter the others from having any issue with him leaving them. "What do you want?" he groaned. "I'm not interested in standing around any longer and waiting for that woman to somehow get into my head too." Of course he also had his own goals. Securing himself a luxurious retirement when the time came, not merely a comfortable one. He could just imagine it, a nice estate on the beaches of Risa with all the women and comforts he could hope for. Starfleet wouldn't give him that, so he had decided partially on a whim to seek it out himself today. His position in the Intelligence Office would no doubt be a useful asset for Major Chromar. "And besides, I can only stand the conversation of others for so long, so why don't you scamper back off and have another drink," he said as he made another effort to storm off into the corridor. Ideally he could find Chromar himself, but others with authority could do. He did need to rid himself of Kaya first, however. [ PO2 Kaya Som and Avi Moz | Outside the bar ]"Prick," Kaya said but let Bav go. [NPC - PO1 S'Riia - Kirby's, Starbase Sigma 4] Uncomfortable hardly described S'Riia's current demeanor. While Kaya's cheerful playfulness was welcome, the pursuit of this particular topic was not. And then, there was Bav. Something about his interest really made S'Riia uncomfortable. Likely because he was the one that had the most proximity to 'tall and pasty.' Even as he took it upon himself to excuse himself, that parting look in his eyes made S'Riia wonder just how much he had deduced. All she could picture was running into Harmon when she came back aboard the ship, and him uttering words like 'lack of professionalism' and 'misconduct.' They were hardly phrases she wanted to associate with this... whatever it was that was plaguing her subconscious. Though, it seemed that Bav wasn't the only one to leave. Kaya got up to go after him, clearly not wanting to break up their little impromptu gathering. While S'Riia and Kaya were good friends, Bav was easily an unlikely addition. S'Riia could understand the sentiment, and under different circumstances, she probably would have enjoyed the Andorian's company. Though, it seemed natural that all Andorian's seemed to have a slighly chilly disposition. With them both gone, that left S'Riia alone with Neema. The woman that had been responsible for putting her naughty dreams on blast. S'Riia exhaled. She had to agree with Bav. A vitae that extensive likely concealed more than just a quick rundown. Regrettably, S'Riia had neglected to read it. She thought Eastman's cliff-notes version of 'don't do anything stupid' more than sufficed. Still, it was the security officer's chance to get some answers. Though, Neema did appear a tad distracted. "So, how about you tell me about you, for a change," S'Riia said her brown-yellow eyes baring into the junior negotiator. "Assume I didn't read those materials... what exactly would it tell me about you."
[NPC - 2nd Lieutenant Neema - Kirby's, Plaza Level Starbase Sigma 4] Neema watched as first Bav left. The smile that had been on her face waned slightly. This... this wasn't good. Not at all. "Are you sure there's nothing else that I can get you?" Neema called after him, though Bav clearly wasn't listening. And while her attention had been on the Andorian, it seemed that the Trill girl had gotten up to go after him. No, this was bad... very bad. Her orders had been clear. "He's not upset is he?" she said though it was uncertain if she were asking an actual question or giving herself a pep talk. The one prevailing thought on Neema's mind was the fact that he wouldn't like this. She found her attention now centered on the Caitian girl. Possibly the least interesting of them all, but possibly the most dangerous. Neema swallowed, all of a sudden feeling as if she'd been caught up in an interrogation herself. "I can read thoughts... though, only on the surface," Neema stated. "We sent that information never meaning to conceal it. It just... makes me more effective at anticipating your needs... and wants." It almost felt a tad embarrassing to admit, her lack of control over the gift. "The only reason I could get such a clear image of your lov-- uh... him... was because you thought more and more about him. He was your prevailing thought."Neema's eyes looked towards the door of Kirby's and both Bav and Kaya were both out of sight. This was so not good. "Do you think either of them are coming back?"

[NPC - Captain Rez Jogann - Upper Levels Plaza, Starbase Sigma 4] Jogann was growing restless. Of course, Dixon was a slippery character. He should have probably found a way to detain the man indefinitely. His comm chimed and he raised his large rocky hand to acknowledge the call. It seemed that there was a sighting of Dixon, though no longer any sign of the kid. "Converge on that area and find that kid," Jogann ordered. "I'm on my way." Somehow, it felt that if he were there in person, he'd be able to find some satisfaction in this whole ordeal.

The Bolian didn't give her much time of day either. Perhaps the Bolian actually had cut her ties from that Federation starbase. Time would certainly tell. He noticed Major Chromar duck into a tea store while Kaya appeared to have found someone else to bother. He confidently strode into the tea store and took a seat opposite the Romulan. Most people feared the Tal Shiar, but not Bav. He'd encountered worse people before. The Tal Shiar instilled fear simply because that was their enduring reputation. The war was devasting for the Tal Shiar, far too many of their ships and agents were lost in that foolish endeavour with the Cardassians. "Major Chromar. I'm sure you know who I am. Bav Th'cherreq. [Darkened Weapons Locker - USS Mac] Now that she had established that she was definitely in a weapons locker, Thea resisted the urge to give into her frustration and kick her way out. As tempting as that was, she wasn't stupid as it was likely she could do some serious damage to herself in the process. Besides it wouldn't do her any good to end up in Sickbay, especially since they were still in the middle of a battle simulation and she was also determined to find out who was responsible for this because if it was meant as a practical joke, it wasn't particularly funny and if it was one of the Mac crew then there would be serious consequences due to their actions.
