[ Leanna - Delirium] Leanna smiled when Charlie agreed to the Betazoid joining her and the Security Officer who Charlie then introduced her to as Phoebe, before recommending that she try out the Blue Beta which was very much appreciated along with the compliment about it having the best food on the Station. " Thanks Charlie, that reminds me, we have a new shrimp dish for you to try next time you're in" she replied as Phoebe then held out her hand and Leanna shook it. " It's good to finally put a name to the face, Phoebe and that's good as we definitely don't skimp on the portions".It may of been Pieter's opening night but to possibly have another customer was always a bonus and hoped to see more of both Phoebe and Charlie both here and at the Blue Beta. When Charlie then asked what she recommended as they were both about to get another drink, Lea did think about the Argellian Hurricane, until Phoebe caught the attention of one of the Server's and promptly ordered the Samarian Sunset for them all. The Bar Owner couldn't argue with the choice that was made as it was perfect. Although tried not to grin after Phoebe got a little distracted by Johan, not that she blamed her for doing so as he was rather attractive. So when Phoebe then apologised and why it was the only thing she could think of, Lea understood completely as she sat down. " It's okay, Johan has that affect on people and it was a good choice, I also recommend the Argellian Hurricane for later ... oh and to let you both in on a little secret, Johan is Pieter's brother, he also has a twin Mika who I believe is in the Kitchen".

[Ens. Phoebe Volante - Delirium] Phoebe smirked, "Are you one such player?" She let out a little giggle as another woman strode up to the pair, a friend of Charlie's perhaps? After Charlie's introduction, Phoebe reached out her hand to greet Leanna, "A food place? Well, I'm sure I will be visiting regularly once I get my training and sparring going again. I do love a nice, big meal after good exercise."A rather attractive waiter appeared by the trio and patiently awaited their order. Phoebe's mind went completely blank for a few moments, unable to string a single thought together until finally something decided to fill the void that was her head, "Three Samarian Sunsets, please." The staff member repeated the order as confirmation and heading off to the bar. The woman awkwardly smiled and shrugged at the other two, "Sorry, all that I could think of. He was too handsome."[ Leanna - Delirium] Leanna smiled when Charlie agreed to the Betazoid joining her and the Security Officer who Charlie then introduced her to as Phoebe, before recommending that she try out the Blue Beta which was very much appreciated along with the compliment about it having the best food on the Station. [Charlie Fox - Delirium]"Oh, I'm small fry," Charlie promised when Phoebe asked if she was one of the aforementioned players. She couldn't help but chuckle in amusement when the young Sec/Tac officer became a little tongue-tied in the presence of the waiter. What made her all the more charming in Charlie's eyes was the fact that she then openly admitted it. "What's in a Sumarian Sunset?" She asked afterwards, realising it didn't much matter as long as it was alcoholic, but unable to subdue her natural curiosity. "I'll definitely be in to sample the new dish," she told the owner of the Blue Beta when she gave her the head's up on the latest menu addition. When conversation turned back to Pieter and his siblings, Charlie raised her hand and then clenched her fist, summoning the holorecorder back to her. "Got to get some shots of those three together," she stated, mostly to herself, but loud enough for the other two women to hear. With a quick few taps on a small handheld PADD she'd stuffed into the belt of her dress, she narrowed Olsen's parameters. The device floated off again, this time on a more specific mission. "They'd be as big a draw as their cocktails."

[ Ens. Ari Kiax - Delirium] “Layne.” he greeted brightly as the woman appeared next to him, chair in hand, and smiled warmly. “Oh it’s not a problem, I promise. Have you been enjoying yourself?” Sipping the rest of the cocktail he smiled pleasantly at the taste and once again silently concluded teh joining had given him some sort of higher tolerance to alcohol, especially considering the reactions of the others in the club he’d seen drinking the same concoction. When the woman, Evi, introduced herself and her husband the Trill’s eyes widened slightly with interest. “A station engineer? I am rather hoping, once I return to service, I might get the Chief Engineer’s permission to tour the Engineer Decking and view the reactors. I have some… past experience with such things but it was long ago and I’m rather interested in seeing that part of the Station.” he told the quiet man with an open smile. Loran, the first Kiax host, had been a great Engineer centuries ago and he seemed to have a rather strong influence on the subsequent hosts. Although none had followed in his footsteps they had all, to varying degrees, inherited his fascination with technology. At the Commander’s question Ari nodded. “Yes we served together on the USS Hecla. The previous Kiax, D’yer Kiax, was the Chief Tactical Officer upon the vessel as well. He and Crewman Layne where good friends and, well, sometimes friendships go beyond a single lifetime.” he explained honestly. His primary counselor on Trill had suggested he be more open about his new joined existence as a way of better accepting the change. This was as good a time as any. Although he didn’t delve too far into the details of the past relationship, he respected Layne’s privacy too much for that. [ Cwm Layne Bira - Delirium, Promenade ] The Bajoran nodded her head and said to Ari, ”Good. I really didn’t expect this place to be so full.” Though thinking about it now she had not been very logical about that. Opening night? Any place worth mentioning would be packed on opening night. Bira nodded and smiled at Evi to indicate that yes this was how she was called. Some people didn’t pick up on the naming convention of Bajorans and called her by her family name; some people had done so as a term of endearment. At any rate, she always felt an odd sense of relief when she didn’t have to explain. In fact, she often didn’t bother and just left people their assumptions. ”It’s nice to meet you both”, she said, glancing at each in turn before focusing on Evi once again. ”An engineer? Oh I imagine he puts in way too many hours on the job. I am impressed by how expansive the station is; it must be demanding.” It was no wonder the woman was enjoying her time out with her busy husband. Her eyes went to Max as he spoke about his own time conflicts with the First Officer, her smile taking in the warmth between the chef and his wife as they bantered back and forth. It was something she could imagine and yet had no personal experience to draw upon. She and Abol’s life together had ended before they ever got to spend any part of it in freedom. She and D'yer had not lasted long enough to evolve into anything similar. When Judith remarked that Ari and she knew one another, she nodded her head and remained silent, quite content to let him take the lead on that bit of information. She turned to him when he was done, with a slight smile on her face very appreciative of his discretion. Dividing her attention among the two couples round the table she added as an afterthought to his remarks, ”I guess the Prophets decided we still had some time serving together in our futures.” Her hand set the glass of Bajoran ale she had brought with her upon the table and rose to rub lightly at her right lobe. Usually she didn’t wear her ear ring, she never knew what D’jarra her family had been but that of her husband were of the Ih’valla, the artists. Although she felt it was good enough, seeing as she did enjoy sculpting, she always felt like a fraud when wearing it or invoking the Profits. The faith felt contrived to her, something she was supposed to believe, rather than what rose from within. [Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams) & Max Williams - Delirium]Judy decided not to comment about the cross-host friendship. She figured it could be complicated, in light of how recent Ari's joining was, and therefore a thoughtful nod was appropriate, as opposed to saying something that could be insensitive. "I can tell you that Engineering stays very busy," she said on that topic, instead. "The station wasn't in the best shape when the new crew came in 6 months back, and God knows our engineers have worked like crazy to get us where we are."A former engineer herself, Judy was very pleased with that department's performance throughout. "We're going to go get some food from the buffet, if anyone would like to come along," Max then offered, before moving to stand up. Judy did likewise, clutching her glasses case in her left hand as she took Max's hand in her right.

[ Ens. Ari Kiax - Delirium] Ari smiled softly at Bira and simply added “Perhaps they did.” The Prophets were documented, real, beings apparently. Some sort of… wormhole inhabitants or something from what he’d heard. Who was he to say they didn’t have some involvement with Bajoran lives akin to Gods. “Thank you ma’am but I’m actually planning to have an early night, I’m not much of a party animal.” the man who’d drank four Delirium Cocktails claimed. “I have an appointment to make early in the morning to make.” he added not revealing that he planned to visit the sickbay as early as possible to return to service before the scheduled date. Besides he could grab a late night snack before going over some of the study material tonight, even if it was still early days he didn’t want to fall behind on his current doctorate progress. Pushing himself to his feet, only feeling slightly tipsy, he definitely needed to look up the toxin tolerance of joined Trill at some point. As Max and Judith rose to get something to eat Ari smiled at Layne, Evi and George. “Hopefully I’ll see you all later. Enjoy the night.” he said as way of goodbye before crossing the floor. The place seemed to be only getting busier as he left the club. //Exit ThreadTags: Judith Eastman Layne Bira Ozu Saya
