[Crewman Jovireh Velal - USS Mac - Bridge]
Everything seemed to be happening at once as multiple calls were coming in, and she set the ship to yellow alert as suggested. Jovireh did not envy Commander Eastman's position in the slightest. Overhearing the senior officers' brief conversation about tachyon emissions gave her an idea, but she would have to wait to bring it up until the science officer returned with his findings from the Hera. Her name was called again, and the XO was telling her to observe the conversation with the Nyberrite leadership. A small breath of relief escaped her as her body relaxed just slightly. Finally a task she was confident in!
As the com link was reestablished between the ships, Jovireh kept her gaze on her console but listened intently. She didn't want to risk any more surprises getting by her, even though a visual of the Colonel would give her more to observe. Even so, tone of voice and phrasing could be quite telling, and Vasser's initial question already gave her something to work with. While she was unable to use any of her psionic abilities across this distance, she was still rather adept at reading people due to her work in the security field. And the Commander was right... She hadn't met this woman before, or knew anything about her, so her judgment would be unbiased by preconceptions.
At first she was a little surprised by Eastman's willingness to volunteer so much information, but as the Commander finished speaking, she realized what she was doing. If Vasser had ordered the attack on the fighter... Eastman just handed her the shovel to dig her own grave. Knowing the response would be crucial, Jov continued to listen intently.

[ Ensign Neme, Medical (bio) | Sickbay ]Neme didn't hesitate. They'd always felt more capable than their rank required, so being given command of Sickbay was a welcome challenge (and about time). Lieutenant Commander Harmon was at Aravis's bedside. This was opportune. Aravis's answers to his questions would give some insight into the cause of the patient's injuries which someone had already begun to treat. The burns were all nearly gone, but the hoarseness in her voice was of some concern. There had clearly been inhalation of a caustic substance. "Lieutenant, remove your uniform jacket. I need to ensure there are no remaining burns," Neme said as they recalibrated the dermal regenerator which was not set to their liking. It was a common mistake, but Neme would be sure to correct whoever had used it last, likely Nurse Logan. Neme didn't want to interject too much. The patient did not need an explanation for medical directions, and they did not want to impede Lieutenant Harmon's inquiries. Jovireh Velal (Paawin, Aravis), Matthew Harmon , Thea Baker (Tania),

[Matthew Harmon - Turbolift]"Is your cover blown?" he asked Avi as possible ways to extract her went through his head. "Get whatever information you can from their databanks, or anywhere else you can find, I'll make arrangements to get you out. The situation makes it tricky, but I'll find a way." He then grabbed his PADD and quickly got her connected to a secure datalink so she could upload what she had. He then used the PADD to message Commander Eastman.
Avi Moz requires extraction. Will require emergency beam out once data upload is successful. Secrecy still essential. Do not brief crew on details. [Sickbay]
Harmon ignored all the medical personnel diligently working to treat the two officers. Instead, he focused all his attention on Aravis. Unfortunately, she seemed to be of little help. "I need to know every little detail, no matter how trivial it seems. Sensor anomalies, even ones you think are normal. Anything about the way the ship was hit, how it shook, what it sounded like. Did you see any weapons fire, even if only for a split second? If so, what colour was it, was it a beam, a cannon, torpedo like weapon?" It seemed likely that she would be unable to provide much useful information.

[Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams) - Bridge, USS Mac]Judy suspected that the Colonel's question was not - at least, not entirely - one of charitable concern. The Commodore's condition was, after all, coextensive with the identity of the acting CO. "The Commodore is being tended to in Sickbay. I don't exactly know what his condition is," she disclosed matter-of-factly. "I hope your flight crew is well."The light impact the Owl-1 had suffered seemed to indicate its occupants would be relatively all right, so this was a question of polite concern. "Let's not beat around the bush here. A lot of people would be inclined to pin this on you and go home, but I think we'll all be better off if we work together to find out what actually happened. We each have some pieces of the puzzle."[...] [NPC - Ens. Mabel Henriksen - Bridge -> Shuttlebay]Even Mabel's optimism was dampened by their current situation, as she considered Commander Quinn's question. "Honestly, Sir, I think the Nyberrites did it. They're very shady," she speculated. The sight of the Hera in the shuttlebay was certainly a sorry one. Whatever had happened, this little ship wasn't going to fly anywhere, anytime soon. She took up an engineer's toolkit and approached closer. "We should try to pull the computers out and then connect them to the ship's EPS system. I wouldn't trust the Hera's power grid," she suggested. [Crewman Jovireh Velal - USS Mac - Bridge][...] As the com link was reestablished between the ships, Jovireh kept her gaze on her console but listened intently. If Vasser had ordered the attack on the fighter... Eastman just handed her the shovel to dig her own grave. Knowing the response would be crucial, Jov continued to listen intently. [Lt. Commander Isaiah Quinn - Shuttlebay, Deck 8, USS Mac ] "I see," was the only response Isaiah offered as Mabel shared her opinion. He wondered if he should be surprised. It was a pretty popular sentiment among the bridge crew. And after what had happened at Starbase Sigma-4, he supposed he didn't blame people from jumping to such a conclusion. Yet, a closed mind could make what they had to do today very difficult. "Any particular reason you feel that way, other than the fact that they're... shady ?"As Isaiah got closer to the shuttle, he examined the scan of the blast burns. "Interesting," he commented as he examined the readings. "This energy signature is slightly different from the weapons signatures we have on file for their fighter craft." Isaiah made a mental note of it as he closed his tricorder. He decided that it was something he'd mention to Commander Eastman and run past Crewman Velal. His eyes turned towards the rest of the wreckage. "I think we can get in over here," he said gesturing towards the door. It took using the manual release to push open the cockpit. He winced at the sight of the pilot's seat. "Let's get these out quickly. I'm not sure how much we can retrieve from the pilot computer, but the copilot's seems relatively in tact. Let's also be sure to secure the nav recorder as well."

Colonel Helena Vasser - Bridge, NSS Soteria ] It was a classical redirect. It was obvious to Vasser that Eastman felt the need to control the situation. It didn't seem to be a matter of intimidation, but entitlement. Vasser simply stood there, staring at the woman's image. "The initial report is that our pilots' injuries were relatively mild. Thank you, for your concern, Commander." If this was the game that Eastman wanted to play, then so be it. From that brief exchange, it was evident that Eastman wanted this to be on her terms. Perhaps this was all a test. Was this Eastman's way of testing Vasser's guilt? Or was she simply looking for a reason to retaliate. Until Vasser was certain of which, she knew she'd have to play it safe, which meant putting the Mac on the offensive. It wasn't Starfleet's typical look, but for now Vasser was willing to continue this exchange with an open hand. "I sincerely regret that your opinion of me is so low, Commander. It is... rather telling," Vasser commented. Though, she quickly shifted to all business. "However, you are correct. What I can provide you with right now are our sensor and communications logs for the past twelve hours, along with our duty rosters and departmental reports." Vasser looked over her shoulder and nodded in the direction of Gorsk to send the data burst. "You should be receiving that information now," Vasser said. "You will find that it is unencrypted and untampered with. At present, we are in the process of accessing Owl-1's flight recorder and interviewing our pilots. I will be more than happy to share that information as soon as it is available, so that we can determine the truth of what happened." Vasser took a deep breath. "I trust that we can expect you to reciprocate, Commander?" Now, the ball was in Eastman's court. Or perhaps she was the one that had something to hide.

Tag Avi Moz, Judith Eastman, Ozu Saya [ Lt. jg Aravis - Sickbay] Aravis tried to focus on what both the medical ensign and the intelligence officer were saying to her. She sat back up and wrestled out of the top of her uniform, coughing and wincing again as she did so. I think it was mostly my face, she said roughly. And I inhaled some fumes from the plasma fire before the fire suppression kicked in.Shifting her gaze to Harmon, Aravis emphasized, There was nothing. No hit, no shaking, nothing on sensors, just boom. A flash as the panel exploded. She paused to cough again. It was only the right-hand panel in the front. That's why the commodore got the worst of it. And I couldn't reach him to give any aid. Aravis was slightly horrified to find her eyes welling with tears. She didn't know the commodore well, but he was a fellow pilot and she'd felt helpless when he'd been injured.

[Lt. Paawin Riyo - USS Mac - Sickbay]He was grateful the Ensign didn't argue about being in on the surgery. Even moreso that no one commented as the lights dimmed around them. The last thing he needed was being expected to explain himself right now. Then again... He was operating on the Commodore... He'd likely be able to play Klingon operas without anyone questioning him. The lower lighting would also be beneficial for the Lieutenant to relax and rest once she was finished being treated and interrogated. Normally he wouldn't allow both at the same time, but this seemed to be a rather unusual circumstance. Once the drain was complete, he watched the monitor for a few moments to ensure the bleeding had stopped and the inflammation began to reduce before he stepped around across from Tania, pulling the tray he'd been using within easy reach. "Alright... That's good enough for now," he told Tania quietly after a quick look at the progress she'd made on the topical burns. "Go ahead and remove the line, and let's see how bad it is inside." Too much of the saline would risk sending the patient into hypothermia, so hopefully it had already done its job. Once the nurse had complied, he made the incisions, cursing under his breath when he saw the amount of internal damage. This was going to be a long surgery. Tag Thea Baker (Tania) [Crewman Jovireh Velal - USS Mac - Bridge]The immediate change in the Colonel's tone caught Jovireh's attention, and her head snapped up to look at the view screen. Well that was rather... Telling. As the conversation continued, she examined the woman's expression and posture before dropping her gaze back to her console. Trying to be as discreet as possible, she began to type in a message to send directly to Commander Eastman. Concern for Commodore genuine. Offended by accusation. Curious she turned it back on you. You do have motive, opportunity and means, in the eyes of someone who doesn't know you well. Too eager to prove her innocence - Nothing to hide, or nothing to lose?Jovireh tried to keep her observations succinct, enough to give the Commander something to work with but not so much it distracted her from the conversation. She hit the send button, ran another cursory scan, relieved to see the Soteria's shields still down. At least they weren't preparing for an all-out assault. Tag Judith Eastman

[ Nurse Tania Logan - Sickbay, Deck 7] With one careful eye on the central line whilst simultaneously making steady motions with the dermal regenerator. Tania was very much focused on what she had been tasked to do and knew that her role was essential if they had any chance of saving the Commodore. Whilst the Nurse was aware of the conversation behind them. She managed to keep that from being a distraction as Dr Paawin told her that it was good enough for now and to go ahead and remove the line. " Yes Doctor" she replied as she then carried out his instructions. Putting down the regenerator first, Tania then carefully removed the line as Paawin prepared to see how bad the internal damage was. Tania quickly realised that this wouldn't be straightforward as the Doctor made the incision, showing them just how much damage that Perry had sustained. Sending a silent prayer to whichever deity was listening as she got ready to do what Paawin asked.

[ Ensign Neme, Medical (bio) | Sickbay ]An explosion with no initial evidence of weaponfire? Neme arched an eyebrow. Now that was interesting. Sabotage of the craft by the Nyberrite Alliance was an incendiary theory. Or perhaps the Alliance had discovered a way to cause damage more creatively from a range. Weaponized transporters, nano-scale tractor beams, ultra-wide band radio frequencies. Not that anyone would ask Neme for their theories... With Aravis's jacket out of the way, Neme was able to confirm there were no further burns or bruising to the torso. But Aravis was still experiencing strained breathing, so Neme began to scan internally. Aravis was now on the verge of tears. It was an expected response in her species to trauma. The patient's outcome would be improved if suitable comforting bedside manner strategies were used. "You are handling this well, Lieutenant" Neme said and placed a hand on her shoulder. "But your trachea and lungs are damaged. If you lie back, I can initiate treatment of the inflamed tissue. Then you will feel better." Matthew Harmon , Ozu Saya (Aravis)

Perhaps the Nyberrite was defensive (she had every reason to be), or perhaps this was calibrated, but if it was the latter, it wouldn't work. Judy was pretty much immune to guilt, having been raised Jewish. Then, she got the messages in her armrest console. Glancing down through the reading segment of her bifocals, she read them. Her brow could be seen to furrow slightly as she read Harmon's. Now was not a good time for that mishegoss, and yet here they were. She turned her eyes back to Vasser. Perhaps, as Ms. Velal had assessed, their current adversary indeed had nothing to hide, or perhaps she was too deep in the hole. Either way, more cat and mouse games wouldn't do. "Thank you. I'll have my crew send our logs as soon as we can. We have a lot of people on shore leave, so we're just a little short-staffed, but I'll try to get it done quickly," she said, hoping to avoid the appearance of obstructionism. Like it or not, she was going to have to work with Vasser in the future, and her reputation was important to her. "Mac out."Now, she typed a quick message to Harmon. Send transporter signature to tactical. Beamout on your mark. Try to get Moz somewhere secure first - bathroom?
-J.E.W. She stood up and turned around to look at the tactical crewwoman. "You did well. Thank you," the XO prefaced her words, always keen to voice her approval at a job well done. "Inspect the log data they're sending us. Make sure it's clean, and stand by to receive a transporter signature from Mr. Harmon to lock onto and beam off the Soteria on his mark. It's an organic being, but I'm afraid that's all I can reveal," she added, her elongated nose turning ever-so-slightly red, perceptible to the observant eye against her pale skin under the bridge's harsh lighting, on account of her discomfort with keeping secrets from the crew. She walked over to the replicator. =A= "Espresso, decaf," =A= she ordered. "Anything for you?"

Well, she did have a folksy saying. "My Granny likes to say that you don't go for a follow-up with the doctor that nearly killed you, and that's the Nyberrites, but we need a little more evidence, I guess."Looking around the inside of the fighter, another saying from Granny Henriksen came to Mabel's mind. "Let's take out the secondary control computers," she suggested, referring to the components responsible for translating the pilots' commands (relayed by the main computer) into exact motions for the various components). "We might as well use the whole buffalo."Mabel didn't quite understand how this saying ever came to be, but she understood and agreed with the idea behind it.

Securing it in its holster, he then turned to the workbench and retrieved some of his tools. He had just been about to remove one of the damaged panels from the hull when he felt the blood in his veins practically chill. "You there," came Chromar's voice. Javik slowly turned to face the Romulan. Whether it was a natural reaction to the Romulan's presence or his reputation, Javik was uncertain. He swallowed heavily, it feeling like large grains of sand were being forced down his throat. "Where is Avi Moz?" The Reman's long finger rose to point towards the storage area. Chromar nodded. "And make certain that no one touches the flight recorder. I'll retrieve it shortly."Chromar moved towards the storage area. His eyes and ears were alert. He moved through the area, not surprised by the disarry everywhere. He continued to move until he saw the form of the woman he'd been looking for. "Hello, again, Ms. Moz. I think it's time we had another talk." His lips curled ever so slightly into a confident smirk. "In fact, it may be long over due. [ Avi Moz | Equipment Storage, NSS Soteria ]=//= "Not yet. Incoming." =//= The databanks! Ha! Harmon was dreaming. If Avi had been able to access those, she would have. And she'd be stupid to try now, with whatever was going on with Starfleet would have the entire ship tossed. With urgency, she continued to take as many images and scans of the Tholian crates as she could sending them directly through to the datalink as soon as it was active. And then her luck ran out. Chromar. He stood in the doorway of whatever cobby storage hatch she was in looking smug. Avi rarely earned a happy smile - it was always these smirks, wasn't it? She returned the expression then turned her back on him to pull a case down from a shelf and in the process quickly touching her ear to keep the comm with Harmon open. When she turned back to Chromar she shook her head. "Sorry, Major, I don't have time for that. I'm working. Needed in the shuttlebay." As if she'd found what she came for, she hefted the case up onto her shoulder and made to breeze past Chromar. Meanwhile her stomachs knotted themselves together. [Crewman Jovireh Velal - USS Mac - Bridge]The com link with the Nyberrite ship was severed on command, and Jovireh let herself relax ever so slightly. That conversation definitely could have gone much worse... and she'd found it fascinating to observe. Her position and low rank normally kept her away from the political dance between Starfleet and other factions. She remembered the reception for the Talorian delegation, and her stomach twisted when she recalled Kaelpra's request for her to sit in on the negotiations with the Federation. Needless to say, that never happened, and the loss of what could have been the opportunity of a lifetime was only part of the lingering conglomeration of emotions she tried to ignore. Jovireh quickly snapped herself back to the present as the Commander turned to face her, her back straightening at the compliment received. She gave the woman a nod and gracious smile. "Thank you, ma'am." Hopefully her insights had helped at least somewhat. As the next set of orders were given, she nodded in understanding, glancing down briefly to ensure the logs were coming through as promised. So far the Colonel was correct about the lack of encryption. That was good at least. Though it was the information that followed that caused her brow to furrow slightly in curiosity and confusion. She was to transport something organic from the Soteria? On Harmon's mark? Wasn't he the Intelligence officer? In spite of the questions that ran through her mind, she could see by the expression on the older woman's face that asking wouldn't do any good. "Yes, ma'am." Here's hoping the Nyberrites kept their shields down long enough. The Crewman took the initiative to power down the Mac's weapons, but kept the shields up, hoping the 'sign of good faith' would prevent the other ship from going on the defensive. When asked if she wanted anything from the replicator, Jovireh gave a small grin, glancing over once more. "Romulan ale?" she asked in a hopeful tone of voice, though prayed the Commander understood she was joking. Even if they were allowed to have alcohol while on duty, she knew the replicator certainly wouldn't have that particular selection available. It was a tempting thought though. "Jestral tea, please. Thank you." She corrected herself more seriously. The hot, soothing drink would help her focus on examining the logs, and ease her nerves over whatever-it-was she was going to be transporting off the other ship.

[LCDR Matthew Harmon - Sickbay -> Bridge]
As he had feared, Lieutenant Aravis appeared to have no actionable intelligence to help them piece together what had happened. It was apparent he wasn't going to get anything more from her so he made his leave. "Thank you Lieutenant, I'll leave you to the medical staff now so you can recover. We'll get to the bottom of this, you just take it easy and relax," he said before turning and leaving the room, heading back to the Bridge. As he entered the turbolift, having received the Commander's response, he send the coordinates and necessary information to Tactical. He then tried contacting Avi again.
=/\= Beam out ready on your call. Get somewhere secure first. =/\=
He spoke softly to avoid anyone potentially overhearing him. He then stepped off the turbolift and onto the bridge.
"Unfortunately, Lieutenant Aravis did not have much to give us," he reported as he took the chair next to the Commander. "Nothing on sensors, she didn't see anything, or feel anything that could aid us." His voice remained stoic, though he was disappointed at the lack of information.

[Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams) - Bridge, USS Mac]Judy laughed, briefly but unmistakably, at the crewman's request for Romulan Ale, picking up on the humor. This was a most excellent time for a little levity. =A= "Jestral tea, and one cup tray," =A= she ordered the replicator, and another mug materialized, along with a tray for four drinks. At her age, with the slight tremors she was prone to (the last 3 years of decaf could not make up for the previous 4 decades of caffeine abuse), trying to balance one hot drink in each hand was just a little risky. She walked to the security console, to deliver the tea. "There you go," the First Officer announced, briefly balancing the tray in her right hand as she handed Jovireh the mug with her left. Then, she continued on to her own chair, sitting down as Harmon arrived. [LCDR Matthew Harmon - Sickbay -> Bridge]

"Nothing on sensors, she didn't see anything, or feel anything that could aid us." His voice remained stoic, though he was disappointed at the lack of information. "Whoever did this was clearly going for surprise, and they got it," Judy concluded. It wasn't surprising that Aravis had been as blindsided on the Hera as they had been here on the Mac. "Vasser is cooperating. The Soteria sent over their sensor logs, and we'll be sending ours to them," she added, with a nod to security to do so. "I don't know if the Alliance did it, but I do think if they did, it wasn't Vasser's order. She wasn't comfortable with... any of it, and frankly the fact that she's right in the eye of the storm just sets her up for disaster. I'm not ruling out someone in her chain of command, but I just don't think it's her."Vasser was a convenient scapegoat, and it would be very easy to just nail her for this. That, coupled with her cooperation, led Judy now to theorize that whoever did this, intended Vasser as a scapegoat.

[Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams) - Bridge, USS Mac]Judy sighed faintly as Vasser tried to... guilt her?
[NPC - Ens. Mabel Henriksen - Shuttlebay, USS Mac]"Well..." Mabel started, and then trailed off. She didn't have a lot to back her gut feeling. [ Avi Moz | Equipment Storage, NSS Soteria ]=0= "Not yet. Incoming." =0= The databanks! [Lt. Commander Isaiah Quinn - Deck 8, Shuttlebay --> Bridge, USS Mac ] Isaiah listened as Mabel explained her logic. It didn't seem to be founded in science, but he did understand the logic that she was pushing. "I see," he commented again. "So, Peter sealed his fate by crying wolf once too often. What if Peter's telling the truth this time?" He simply let the analogy linger, opting to focus on the task at hand. Isaiah knew that the Nyberrite soldiers had earned a reputation, for better or worse. The same could be said for a variety of people: the Klingons, the Cardassians, the Q. Were they all the same because of what had been witnessed of a few? Of course, the same argument could be made to Isaiah, that he was allowing his previous acquaintance with Vasser to color his perception of her. It was hard not to argue that that had been the case during the simulation at Sigma-4. He only hoped that he could find a way to prove that she wasn't behind something like this. If she were, then he obviously didn't know the woman as well as he'd thought. As Mabel made the suggestion of also removing the secondary control computers, Isaiah nodded. "Good call. Best to be as thorough as possible," he added as he set about the task. He continued working, getting the systems removed as needed. Once he had completed his task, he moved over towards a work bench, and began to hook up the computers to one of the diagnostic stations. "All right, let's see what we've got here." Lt. Commander Quinn also took a moment to send the scorch mark readings that were variant from typical Nyberrite weapons to Crewman Velal. What Isaiah saw didn't exactly enthuse him in the slightest. He sent the latent sensor readings of the beam just prior to its striking the Hera to tactical. He simply wanted to confirm that the beam had actually been the one that caused the damage. He checked over things, and handed the report of their findings to Mabel. He then made his way to the turbolift, en route to the Bridge. Upon the doors parting, Isaiah could see that Lt. Commander Harmon had already returned. Isaiah waited for an appropriate moment to give his own report. "From what we could gather from the Hera's data banks, trajectory and all suggest that Owl-1 did fire on the Hera," Isaiah stated. He took a deep breath. "The only thing that stood out as abnormal were some sensor readings about the discharge from the Nyberrite weapon," Quinn said. He glanced towards Crewman Velal. "Ms. Velal, I forwarded those readings to you. I was wondering if you could make anything of them."

Colonel Helena Vasser - Bridge, NSS Soteria ] Colonel Vasser stood there, staring at the screen, which was now filled with the image of the Sovereign-class vessel opposite them. Of course, there was only one thought currently plaguing her mind. "She's stalling," Vasser said aloud. She had witnessed firsthand the efficiency of Judy Eastman, and being short-handed wasn't a likely excuse to delay such a routine task. Truth be told, Eastman's little handmaiden, Mabel, could likely complete such a task in under five minutes... if that. "Or better yet, what are you hiding?" Vasser said once more to herself as she stood there staring at the ship's image. Eastman either knew something, or didn't particularly care for Vasser to be any more enlightened than she currently was. "Bring up those sensor readings at my console," Vasser ordered. As she took a seat, her eyes began to scrutinize their own data, even more so. =0= "Vasser to Chromar. Where's the log from the flight recorder?" =0=
Major Chromar - Equipment Storage --> Shuttlebay, NSS Soteria ] Just as Avi attempted to move past Chromar, his hand reached out to take hold of her arm. "Not anymore you're not," he stated to her attempt to report to duty. "As of this moment, you're relieved of duty. And you're coming wi--"The Romulan officer didn't have the opportunity to finish his sentence as Colonel Vasser's voice filled the air. =0= "Taking care of it now, Colonel. Chromar, out. =0= Chromar then looked down at Avi. "Report to my office at once. Don't dawdle." He would deal with Moz momentarily. First, he had to obtain that flight recorder data. Chromar began to make his way back to the shuttlebay where he set his eyes upon the Reman once gain. "You there! Get me the flight recorder from that vessel. Immediately."

Taking the mug that was handed to her, she murmured a thanks, the aromatic steam already working its wonders. Her attention returned to her console and the task at hand as Lt. Commander Harmon reentered the bridge. "Transporter locked on, awaiting the order." She reported briefly, still quite curious as to exactly what it was she'd be transporting between the ships. As the final stream of information came through, she compiled everything they had into a single file and transmitted it to the Soteria at the Commander's indication. Now it was time to set about examining the data sent to her by Lt. Commander Quinn as he too returned to the bridge. Her brow furrowed at the readings, immediately noting the anomalies that Isaiah mentioned. It looked familiar, but was nothing she had encountered in her years of active duty. Biting the inside of her lip, she stared at the information, trying to recall her classes at the Academy. "This looks Tholian!" she blurted out, her shock at the recognition overriding her usual manners. "But not exactly... It was definitely a Nyberrite weapon, but they somehow managed to integrate some of the web technology." Jov took a sip of her tea, hoping to stave off the headache that was suddenly beginning to form. She'd always thought Tholian technology wasn't compatible with anything else. The Nyberrites must have a hell of an engineering team over there...
