Settingmemory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Unnamed_Alpha_and_Beta_Quadrant_planets#Binary_system_planet The planet Ayo is part of a binary star system and experiences only four true nights a year. The star port of Celladore is also known as the Twilight City (in a variety of languages), and the primary industry is tourism and hospitality. Celladore is divided into four boroughs. Mazzalo is the administrative seat and is home to city hall, the magistrate, and expensive homes and gardens. Dostallo is home to the space port, central plaza, the best shops, fine restaurants, and lodging. Gallo is an entertainment district known for its Carnivàle-like atmosphere, sophisticated theatre scene, and red-light locales. Fenlo is the 'wrong side of the tracks'. The people are warm and welcoming and the food is amazing, but structural biases mean Fenlo receives little of the city's resources so infrastructure is in disrepair. PoliticsAyo has no native sentient species. Celladore is considered an autonomous colony of Risa. Accordingly much of the city leadership are Risian, but not all. Ferengi, Bolians, and other species have made their home in this cosmopolitan city and thus have developed a uniquely local culture. The city is governed by a council, with each councilor having a supposedly equal voice. There is no police force. A variety of small interwoven institutions handle regulatory, trade, health, crises, and security needs. CultureWithout night, the city never sleeps! While one or the other sun may dip below the horizon casting everything in twilight, it's almost never true night. Every borough is constantly thrumming with activity. Permanent residents have found a personal ebb and flow but tourists can get carried away. Many shops sell both energy supplements and sleep-aides. There is a distinct attempt to warn tourists away from Fenlo - the other boroughs seem embarrassed of it and consider it high crime and the source of most problems. [ Stardate 06.12.2380, 1100 hours | Celladore City, Planet Ayo ]It has been seventy-two hours since crew from the USS Mac and Frontier station arrived in the beautiful city of Celladore on the planet Ayo and the only once had the twin suns dipped far enough below the horizon to cast a cool twilight onto the bustling space port. It had been a difficult year and command had seen fit to allow the portion of the crew due for it a week of shore leave. It's now 1100 hours and the Two Suns market in Dostallo borough is busy and crowded as usual. It's a labyrinth of fine awnings shading luxury vendor stands. There is food and drink for sale, and all manner of people: Bolians, Ferengi, Risians, humans, and more. In the mosaic-floored central plaza, a Risian in blue robes is speaking surrounded by a crowd. "...and thanks to the generous benefactors from every borough, the space port expansion will finally proceed. We on the city council are excited indeed for the new economic opportunities an improved port can provide. Imagine, luxury liners coming to berth here at the Never-Sleeping City? Enough docking rings to host interplanetary diplomatic conferences! I think a new dawn is coming? Can you see it?"A cheer goes up from the crowd, but more than a few onlookers shove their way out of the crowd looking sour. About the open event format

[Charlie Fox - Two Suns Market, Dostallo, Celladore City] Approximately one month following the events of S1, M8 - Price of Peace
Charlie's tongue was hanging out of her mouth as she listened to the old, blue-robed Risian talk about luxury liners and new dawns and the like. With a frown she wondered at the choice of words - did they even have sunrises here? - and brought her hand to her face, so she could give the gooey, warm substance that had fallen from her delicious dessert-thing-on-a-stick a proper cleaning. It melted in her mouth and she might have swooned at the sweet, rich taste had her attention not already been snared by a sour face.
Two sour faces. Then three... Each of them leaving the gathered crowd in their rear-views, and looking distinctly displeased. Her curiosity piqued, she began to move away herself, passed the colourful stalls and even more colourful people, beyond the mosaiced beauty of the central plaza, and toward a side-street that she was pretty sure if followed, would eventually lead her to Fenlo. She had discovered a small store there the night previous as she'd wandered, inebriated, that had promised to procure for her a very special component. She intended to incorporate it into Olsen's design, who was almost whole again, thanks to Kaya's genius and efforts. In fact, Charlie fully expected he'd be better than brand new before too long.
She popped the remainder of the soft sponge street snack into her mouth, her lips and fingers still sticky from the syrupy mess inside. It reminded her a lot of caramel, though with more of a punch. As she deposited her trash into a recycling unit on the side of the path, a Bolian called to her from a nearby doorway, extolling the virtues of his establishment.
"Music! Dancing! Pretty people wanting to meet this pretty lady!"
"I'm not a laaaady!" She responded in a sing-song voice, her grin broad and happy despite the interruption.
"Well then you'll have even more fun!"
"What's that?" Charlie asked in all innocence, before waving a goodbye to the Bolian, not once breaking her stride. She made a mental note of the name of the bar, just in case she came back that way later. For now, though, she was bound for Fenlo, that little store, and then a lot of alcohol. And hopefully, some interesting company for the night.

[ Lt Joshua Niles - Somewhere in the Gallo, Celladore City
Following yet one more less than pleasant interaction with the Talorians, a certain Joshua Niles had found it a welcome comfort to return to the day to day life of a starship's tactical officer. And when word had come they would be heading back to dealing with the Nyberrite Alliance, this time to test some combat small craft, he had started to read up on fighter tactics and doctrine, and the capabilities those would offer Starfleet, on top of his other many responsibilities. Somewhere in there, that black pip at his collar found itself disappearing only to be replaced with a second golden one, and he found even more work on his plate than before.
So, like any good enterprising young officer, or what he had thought was one, he dove into that even more... to the point that his recently learned balance between work and life had gone by the wayside. And, it had been one happy morning when he was operating on less sleep and more coffee than was healthy for several days running, he found that he had received a new set of orders from Doctor Baker herself. He was to be sent back to the Front Ear, which by itself was not exactly out of the ordinary, but not to work out of Ops there. He was being ordered on shore leave, and his passage to Ayo had already been arranged for him. Well, that certainly had been a new one for him all right! He had tried to argue against it, but when a physician (let alone one who was above him both in rank and station) put their seal to something, it might as well be a divine decreee all right...
So, he found himself back at the Front Ear and immediately placed on leave, and when he boarded the transport to Ayo, the only thing that even resembled a piece of uniform was his commbadge, which frankly was entirely too useful to leave behind...
In transit, he found himself some accommodations in a small but very comfortable hotel in Dostallo off of a square that was apparently renowned for the quality of restaurants to be found there... and he realized he was entirely at a loss as to what to do with himself. No duty watches, no reports to read and write, no personnel administration to look after, no training to arrange or critique. Just... nothing. Oh, he had taken the latest issue of Starfleet's Tactical Development Journal with him, but he could read that same publication only so often...
And being dirtside again? The last time he'd been on a planetary surface had been back on Earth when he was commissioned. From there it had been to Earth Spacedock, from there onto a shuttle to Utopia Planitia shipyards where he boarded the Fawkes as she was embarking a load of Runabouts for the Front Ear, and since then he'd not had a breath of air that hadn't been recycled a million times or so, or been in a natural gravity well, or under an open sky. It had been somewhat dizzying at first, and part of him found itself mildly terrified at the prospect of not being surrounded by the reassuring confines of a few million tons of metal supported by a structural integrity field...
So he'd taken it slow, not wandering too far from his cozy and rather reassuring hotel at first, and then, he got a recommendation from the hotel staff while enjoying a meal, and that had set him on his feet towards the more festive part of town; after all, the concierge who'd mentioned it was Risian, and she would have known about such things... and she did mention that he looked entirely too tense, even after a few days of doing practically nothing.
And now, there he was, wandering the warrens of Gallo and realizing that, indeed, there was an atmosphere that could be conducive to letting himself loose to a degree.

[Ozu Saya, Domen Kyo and Domen Evekh - Two Suns Market]
The small Domen family made their way along one of the streets of the market. Kyo and Saya were holding hands while their 3-year-old rode in an ergonomic carrier on his father's back. They occasionally caught sight of some of their fellow station residents in the crowds, but kept to themselves as they explored.
They found themselves in the central plaza as the Risian speaker was wrapping up his speech, listening with moderate interest as they looked for a booth to buy something to eat for Evekh, who had begun to impatiently kick his father's back.
As several of the attendees left, one ran into Saya, knocking her into Kyo and giving her a flash of anger.
I beg your pardon, she began indignantly as Kyo helped steady her, but the person didn't bother to stop.
Saya glanced around with concern and said mentally to her mate, Perhaps we should move away from this crowd. Some of these people seem agitated.
Kyo couldn't respond telepathically, but he nodded and led the way toward another group of booths further from the central plaza where they found one selling packets of some kind of dried fruit. Saya held the packet in her free hand so Kyo could grab pieces for each of them. He'd hand one up to Evekh and pop one into Saya's mouth for her before eating one himself.
They stopped to look at a display of beautifully carved bowls and mugs.

[Kova Sh'qaleq - The Zephyr Club, Fenlo, Celladore City]
It had been a mistake coming here, and if she were honest, Kova would love nothing more than to vacate this particular rock. A pleasure planet... what had she been thinking? Fine dining... shopping... hitting up all the tourist sites and taking in the attractions. None of that had been Kova's style. In fact, the best thing about this place in her opinion was Fenlo. Why? Because it was actually real. It wasn't this polished presentation of a collective dream.
Kova leaned back in her chair, listening to the melodic tones being played by a Risian lute. It was... soothing. The Andorian actually agreed with that assessment. The server brought her the drink she had ordered, a chilled Andorian ale. In fact, the server had come back with that and a small plate of some overly ripe fruits. "What's this? Kova asked sitting up. She already knew the answer as the server simply bowed and smiled. "Really, this isn't...."
Clearly being a generous tipper had its advantages. Kova had spent the past couple of days being very generous with her tips in this place. Of course, looking around, they could use the money. Kova was convinced if a good breeze rushed against these walls, it'd topple the Zephyr Club altogether. So, they returned their appreciation by gifting her with food she hadn't ordered and beaming smiles. Kova just felt inclined to do what she could to help. It was only one bar... one family... but one had to start somewhere. Because the people running this place sure as hell weren't. It was still a far cry from Chalna, but not by very much in Kova's opinion.
Kova raised her glass and nodded at the bartender. Perhaps she'd find something close to relaxation right where she was. Of course, given the looks the pair of at the end of the bar were throwing her way, relaxing may not be an option. Still, the night was early... or rather non-existent. Oh, what Kova wouldn't give for a nice, brisk blizzard.

[Hotel Tropicana - Two Suns Market, Dostallo]
It still felt very surreal to Leanna to actually be here on Ayo and particularly the hustle and bustle of Dostallo. After 72 hours since their arrival from Front Ear, the Betazoid had just about adjusted to how the planet operated with it's lack of night and witnessing why it was so widely known as the twilight city. Whilst she saw it's appeal, she wasn't sure if she could live here permanently, although appreciated those who called this their home. So far she had spent her time, exploring Dostallo and Gallo and indulging in the food, entertainment and shopping to keep herself occupied but at the same time, she wasn't just here for a vacation. In fact if it hadn't been for Riyo and Jeffy she might not of even set foot on the transport never mind preparing for meetings with some of the local businesses and vendors about supplying the Blue Beta.
Initially she was set on staying home and letting Jeffy handle meeting their new contacts, especially with leaving the children and Riyo unable to join her with him being assigned to the Mac due to Doctor Baker attending a conference. As much as she would of loved for this to be their first romantic trip since they had started dating six weeks ago, Lea understood why he had been asked to handle things on the Mac and was already looking forward to their reunion. However the important people in her life had encouraged to take this break, to have some time away from the station and they were right. So after some further reassurance that the children would be fine until she got back and promises of daily messages sent home. Leanna boarded the transport and immediately got talking to her fellow passengers and friends, who she had seen a few times since their arrival.
Now that she had eaten a rather delicious breakfast courtesy of room service, which she could get used too and finally getting dressed. Lea was now ready to face the day and her first meeting with the owner of the Pink Flamingo, which was within walking distance of both the market and her hotel. Not wanting to be late and thinking of perusing the market on her walk, Lea then left her hotel room and headed for the exit.

| Security office, promenade. Front Ear Station. 2 weeks ago. || lt. cmdr. Sven Aune | Alice Duff | Sorren Mar'ken |
The large security officer sat behind his desk. The office was largely spartan. Behind him was a display case upon which stood his first place trophy for a bodybuilding competition that he had recently won. A picture of he and his late father side by side, arms hanging over each other's shoulders standing in front of a aging farmhouse with peeling white paint and empty fields. The last picture taken with the man before he died a few days later. It was largely sentimental to the man as his relationship with his father had improved significantly in his dying days. There were a number of books, largely sci-fi, a number of military thrillers and a couple of mystery detective novels and some other knick-knacks.
At his feet, Eurus, the large shaggy Irish Wolfhound grunted and placed her head upon his boots. She took up most of the space under the desk, but she felt most at home there. The office had a slight scent of magnolia and ceder from a diffuser that was running. A calming scent as most people that came in here were by and large upset. There were two chairs opposite of the desk, and a small couch along one wall with a table and a replicator. There was a holographic projector that displayed the mug shots of a few wanted criminals.
Sven sighed and placed his elbows upon the desk. His work load was... A lot. And there had been a recent crime wave in the sector. And Front Ear was not immune. And that meant a lot of paper work. Crewman Duff entered from the side door that led into a larger space that had a number of cube like offices. For the security staff. Her bushy red hair was a frenetic mess of joy. As she was quite the optimist herself. And she was Sven's assistant, taking a fair share of the paperwork and filings. She had noticed her boss was looking worse for the wear recently.
"Boss," she leaned upon the doorframe with a crossed leg. "You gotta get yourself laid."
Sven looked up. Impudent welp. "Excuse me."
"Oh, sorry. Let me try again. Boss, you gotta get yourself laid, sir."
Sven rolled his eyes. This wasn't a fight he was going to take on. Besides a little rib jabbing can go a long way.
"Alice, I don't have time." Eurus shifted under his feet.
"Well, make the time. Because you've become a grump, and you're making Sorren look like he's a nice guy."
"Crewman. I am a Vulcan...." Sorren had the nasty habit of materializing out of the wood work.
But Alice had gotten use to this and she interrupted him, "Yadda yadda yadda logic, human emotions are illogical go do laps." she stuck her tongue out at him, and she knew quite well she would pay for that. But in the moment, she didn't care.
Sorren raised his brown in a most condescending Vulcan fashion.
Alice continued as if she wasn't interrupted. "Look, there's a station wide shore leave coming up in a few days. I think you should go. I mean, really go. Oh don't get me wrong, I'd rather you stay because heaven knows how much of a nightmare Sorren is when he's sittin' in the big chair."
"Crewman that was out of line."
"Well, you are. Just stating a fact." and it was. It was known that Sorren dealt with deep rooted anger issues that he tried to sweep under the rug in the traditional Vulcan fashion. But it manifested itself in ways where he abused his subordinates in ways that was not easily identifiable.
"Look, try that dating app. Who knows?"
Sven looked up and rolled his eyes again. "I'll take it under consideration."
|Transport Fenrir's Fury Final approach, Dostallo || Sven Aune |
Sven had considered it, and decided to go. But he was very grumpy about it. The last shore leave he had ended up in a fiasco. Something of an occupational hazard for those that served in Star Fleet. But he had mucked about with the "Love is in the stars" dating app and hit it off fairly well with a fellow. His name was Vello Fen. A Bajorian artist. From the profile pictures, he was tall and thin, and quite intellectual. A struggling artist, he had managed to make some sort of an impression in the art community in his native providence on Bajor.
Sven waited in the long queue at the spaceport's customs office. At least it was clean. It seemed that the Ayoians took pride in their establishments. The customs officer was friendly enough, processed the man, and even gave him directions to the rental aero-car center. Another long cue and a few more slips of latinum lighter Sven had his rental. A red four door sport utility. Quite nice. Leather seats, wood trim, well cleaned. He entered the coordinates to his hotel. A route was laid out. Sven took the controls and a moment later the vehicle was hovering a few inches off the ground zipping through the lanes of traffic.
He arrived at his hotel, unloaded his luggage, got his room key and was finally relaxing in his room. It was on the top floor. A small penthouse suite. A luxury Sven decided on. His investments were paying starting to pay off. He started to unpack and spotted something on the dresser.
"Oh, God." he mumbled "The Harmogenfergergomma..." the I'm-desperate-for-sex-statue stood there with it's gaping hole in the middle. That's not at all suggestive. The thing pissed him off. he reminded himself that this was a colony of Risa so, ya. He plucked the thing off the dresser and shoved it into drawer and shut it tightly.
Sven finished unpacking and headed to the balcony. It overlooked the district with its bustling streets of vendors and patrons. He took in the sight of one sun low on the horizon casting the city in twilight as the other was higher in the sky. It was an odd experience but one that he enjoyed.
He was supposed to meet Vello in a little bristo in Gallo in a few hours time. But in the mean time, Sven decided to enjoy the view.

Oh, what Kova wouldn't give for a nice, brisk blizzard. [Charlie Fox - Dinla's Emporium of Tomorrow -> The Zephyr Club, Fenlo]"Cheers, Dinny!" Charlie called again to the older Risian man as she stumbled just slightly out of "cosy" little corner tech shop. Dinla's Emporium of Tomorrow might not have been as impressive as its name, but the people within were as good as their word, and had managed to procure exactly what they'd promised. And after a couple of celebratory shots of something mysterious and fruity, Charlie had finally managed to extricate herself from the magnanimous Dinny and two of his far too young, far too half-naked life-partners. With a final wave and grin, she dropped the small package into her cross-body bag, and bounced out onto the winding street. At her heart, in her soul, Charlie had always been something of a wanderer. She'd drop herself in the center of any city, country, or resort, and she'd walk it until her feet ached and her curiosity waned. Celladore had been no exception, and while she'd enjoyed the grandeur and gardens of Mazallo, the carefully crafted gastric experience that was Dostallo, the excitement and flashing lights of Gallo, it was the less advertised borough of Fenlo that probably called to her the most. It was almost normal, it was perhaps a little more authentic, but most importantly, she believed it was where she'd learn the most. And probably drink the most. The sound of the lute beckoned her inside - it certainly wasn't the run-down facade of The Zephyr Club. But despite the appearance and the optimistic name, it still managed to welcome her. That and the scribbled Happy Hour sign. She paused very briefly at the entrance, which would barely fit two bodies through, and cast a glance around. When she spotted a familiar face her brows shot up with surprise and before she could think her actions through properly, she found herself approaching. "Want some help?" She asked, nodding at the plate of fruits. The hovering, attentive bartender was upon them in a heartbeat. "I'll have one of those, please," she told him, pointing at Kova's glass of Andorian ale. Or at least, she thought it was Andorian ale. Considering the assumption, Charlie found herself looking back at Kova, her expression almost amused. "It won't kill me, will it?"

[Ens. Phoebe Volante, Adjur - Fenlo, Adjur's Arena] [Day 1-3] Phoebe had come down to Celladore City to get away from the binds of her duties and properly let off some steam. She had been chewed out by Commander Baker when she had told her about the drunken night with the Talorian Princess, and while she knew she was in the wrong, it still annoyed her that she had to sit and listen to the Commander have a go at her for several hours because she was the one doing her medical examinations. Simply going to one of the stations bars and getting blasted wasn't going to cut it. She had spent the first two days in the city subtley enquiring if there was anywhere that held some sort of fighting matches. It wasn't until the third day she finally found somewhere that didn't require a long standing membership or cost huge amounts of latinum to enter. [Day 4] Pheobe carried a bag with a change of clothes in it, she had seen a bar or restaurant across from the club that she wanted to try. There was nothing better than a big meal after a good bout. The woman shuffled the bag as she reset her vest in place after it had been moved by the constant jostling of her luggage. She had decided it would be easier if she came to the club in her gym gear then change to outdoor wear after she was done. It would save some time, and it wasn't like there was bad weather to worry about. As the woman passed the bar she noticed a sign reading 'Happy hour'. She hoped it lasted longer than an hour, she wanted to try as much as she could when she went in. The sound of a lute drifted through the open door, attempting to pull her in. Alluring as the sound was it would have to wait, but it piqued her interest enough to look through the window as she passed. Unfortunately the light difference between the inside and the outside was too much and all she could make out was vague shapes inside. She shrugged lightly in disappointment and crossed the road to her destination, Adjur's Arena. As soon as she stepped through the door she was greeted with the voice of an excited woman, "Phoebe! You came back. I had hoped to see you in action again!" Followed by a hearty laugh. A smile crossed Phoebe's lips as she remembered the voice from the day before. It belonged to the klingon owner Adjur who had welcomed her with open arms. Phoebe tossed her a strip of latinum before the pair grasped each others wrists in greeting, "Of course I'm back. The only fight outside of here is the Ferengi trying to fill their wallets."Adjur let out another of the klingons renowned laughs, "You honour me with your words, Phoebe." She patted the human on the back and began walk towards the main area of the club with the multiple arenas set up, "Come, there are many fighters today. Some you will recognise, most you will not, but all will get your blood pumping."

[ PO1 Kaya Som | En route to Fenlo ]
As soon as they'd touched down in Celladore, Kaya shed her skin. She and her friend from Ops Tarin Jin had agreed to get a room together in Dostallo but that they'd go their separate ways. Jin was keen to see the shows in Gallo, and all Kaya wanted to do was vanish. Absolutely vanish.
Kaya had a way of doing that, disappearing into wherever she was. It was all she'd ever wanted, to dissolve into stardust and exist, become intimate with whoever she was with, to soak up music, food, and friends whoever might be available.
This morning, she'd caught the tail end of Council Callum Tashar's speech in the Twin Suns market. (He seemed like a bag of hot air, like politicians on Trill.) She'd been at the market to get some a kind of fried flower pod on a stick that was both spicy and caffinated. She'd perused the market, her hair pulled up, face covered by enormous sunglasses, and had a flower chain around her neck. Her brown bare shoulders were happy in the suns. 25C and sunny. Who could ask for more than this? She fancied she'd never go back.
Now she was boarding an open air public hovertram that would take her to Fenlo. Charlie Fox had told her about a junk shop.

[ Mott | Two Suns Market, Dostallo ]A little Bolian boy, no older than thirteen years old seemed to materialize next to a Bajoran family. He hadn't yet grown out of his short black hair and his ears were little. He reached out past the lady (who he did not know was called Ozu Saya) to pick up a wooden bowl. " Don't mind them, auntie, they're just probably from Fenlo. They wouldn't know a good tomitopi if one laid an egg in their breakfast," he said in a strong Celladore accent. He nodded sagely. Tourists always needed informed of things like this. " Can I have some of that?" he asked then without hestitation, indicating whatever the little baby was snacking on. Ozu Saya

[ Niva | Gallo ]A short Ferengi woman moved down Rajo Street in Gallo. She wore a wrap that shimmered in gold threads and on her head she balanced what could only be described as an apparatus. It had many tiers of small bottles that glimmers in the sunlight, reflecting the bright lights and signs of the most ostentatious district in Celladore. " You look dead on your feet, old man," she said to a man paused under an awning to smoke a cigarette. " Niva's finest Wide-Eye guaranteed to inject a bit of vim in failing vigor." He wasn't a taker, but Niva was indefatigable. " Don't miss a thing with Niva's Wide-Eye Waker-Upper. Why choose which show to see when you can see them all?" she said to a couple hemming and hawing at a box office. Then she came upon an enterprising young officer. Had to be Starfleet, she'd bet her lobes on it. " Aw, looking a bit tense, sir. You deserve to relax." Joshua Niles

[Lt Shavan Th’zhaar - In transit to Fenlo, Celladore City] Upon arriving at the shore leave destination Shavan had wasted no time in exploring the pleasures that Celladore had to offer. For the most part he ignored the more obvious tourist traps, and thanks to a previous visit he had his own reasons for avoiding Mazzalo, which left the Gallo and Fenlo districts. While both were worth going to, for different reasons, Shavan had spent the first few days drawn to the bright lights, festive atmosphere and indulgences of Gallo. It was somewhere in that district that he woke up this morning, to the glare of two suns through the narrow window, which illuminated the disheveled bed and the brown limbs wrapped around his own. With a satisfied smirk he looked at the handsome Risian he’d met at a club the previous night (Shavan couldn't remember if he'd actually gotten his name). After quietly extracting himself from the bed he quickly got dressed and left, intending to disappear into the vibrant city again. Closing the door to the apartment building behind him, Shavan walked out into the streets of Celladore. There were a few places he had not been to yet that he wanted to check out. And so, some time later, he boarded a crowded hovertram bound for Fenlo. He noticed a Trill who looked familiar from the Mac, and gave her a friendly smile, before looking out and watching the sunlit city rush by. soft tag Kaya Som

[Two Suns Market - Dostallo] Following a slight delay in leaving the hotel, thanks to the over friendly Bolian proprietor who wanted to know if Lea would be back for the evening meal. Lea had brought her own expertise into play when she assured him, that if she wasn't then she would definitely require a late night snack in her room which seemed to satisfy his need to please and after saying her farewells, finally made it out onto the street. There was something about the market place and the whole immediate area, that in some ways reminded Lea of home and she took a moment to appreciate where she was, before she headed towards the market stalls themselves. Today was mainly to look and not buy or so she kept telling herself, especially when she had the meeting to go to and didn't want to be laden down by bags and various trinkets, until she was at least headed back to her hotel. Still it was nice to speak to the vendors when she stopped by their stalls, accepting one particular sweet treat as she didn't want to say no, owing to the look of sheer gratitude on the stall holder's face following her promises of it being the best in Celladore City. Although Lea had to admit that it tasted amazing and so went on her way, eating the iced confection without getting it everywhere. She could easily imagine Riyo's reaction if he saw her eating it and the thought of her Boyfriend elicited a smile, something that occurred a lot when she was in his company. Sweet treat consumed, Leanna continued walking amongst the stalls, speaking to those who greeted her, until she recognised a small family up ahead and Bolian boy who was talking to them. Speeding up a little, Lea knew that she couldn't just pass by without saying hello and as she got nearer did just that. " Hi, Saya, Kyo and Evekh" she said, before acknowledging the Bolian boy, with another friendly, " Hello".

That was the question that had been rattling around Josh' head from the moment he had set out towards the Gallo district. Of course, he knew there would be entertainment galore to be found, from stately operas to what was rumoured to be a vigorous... companionship scene, and everything in between. This was to the point that his plethora of options was turning into an embarrassment of riches given that his off-duty life of the last several months, nearly a year now, had been mostly tending to the necessities of keeping himself alive, fit and presentable while getting a head start towards his future career. That much had paid off thus far, but there had been a cost that had to be paid for it... which had put him down on this planet, and not by choice at that! He had been perusing a shifting display of entertainment posters when a voice came from behind him. High-pitched, somewhat grating, with a distinctive accent. Ferengi. Well, it was to be expected, but when he turned about, he actually found himself surprised. A female Ferengi? Well, since the reforms they had been allowed to leave the homeworld and go into business for themselves, that much he had known, but they tended to be rather thin on the ground, compared to their male counterparts. However, her words first brought a smile to Niles' lips, and then a laugh. "You have no idea how often I've heard that in the last little while! So, what do you have on offer?"
