{Spoiler} [Two Suns Market - Dostallo] Leanna couldn't help but smile as Evekh asked for his drum before making such a beautiful sound with it. The Betazoid loved music and respected anyone who could play an instrument and from what she was seeing and hearing. Little Evekh was definitely talented and that hatched an idea in her mind about getting Ari and Aven a small drum each. "That was beautiful Evekh, it's inspired me to get one for Ari and Aven". Her attention then returned to the Bolian boy as Saya offered to buy him a meal if he was hungry. Appreciating her friend's own caution as the boy paused before admitting who it was for. Lea had seen him look towards a man with a smaller boy on his back and decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. Yes he could be deceiving them but all she could do was continue to get the truth. " If you can promise us that you're telling us the truth, then we might consider helping. So tell me why does your brother need it and what's your name?". [ Ozu Saya, Domen Kyo and Domen Evekh - Two Suns Market] Kyo became more suspicious when the boy seemed to change his story, but he was busy trying not to go deaf as Evekh continued to play his drum. Saya picked up on his unease, though, and raised an eyebrow at the young Bolian. She considered whether she should add anything to Lea's questions. Instead of firing off several more questions that were rattling around in her mind, Saya simply added mildly, Perhaps you could tell us exactly what you need for your brother. [ Mott | Twin Suns Market, Dostallo ]Little Mott lower lip began to quiver and gave both women his biggest puppy dog eyes. He did his best to look as adorable and pitiable as he possibly could. "He's sick and I'm all he has. You're both just so pretty and nice, I was sure you'd help me." Blink, blink. "I'll pay you back, I promise. I don't need much. Just. Seventy?"With that, Mott stepped forward and gave Leanna a hug, wrapping his arms around her waist and burying his face in her stomach. Surely this would seal the deal. And in case it didn't, his nimble fingers reached quietly into Leanna's pocket and he palmed something smooth, round, and heavy. A coin! Maybe from some far away place. Leanna Mazal , Ozu Saya

| Unknown location || Sven Aune | Vello Fen | Feggus | Sherry X. |Feggus' face turned into an ugly frown behind his mask. He boxed the boy's ear's and hissed. "Do not use our names here, boy! I'd hate to see you and your family get caught up in some unsavory business. It would make you even more unpopular with the residents than before. And I can assure you that that would be just the start." he took the young man by his arm and marched him closer to the window. An elegant woman took a long draw from a cigarette on the end of a spindly stick then held it between her fingers. Dapped over he arm was a purse, laced with pearls and gems. Feggus greeted her. "Ah, Conductor." she said in a smooth voice. "Miss X." Feggus returned the curtesy with a the same silky intonation. The mysterious woman eyed the young man. "I dare say your friend here owes me quite a sum of money." she took a deep pull from the cigarette and blew it up with a pah. "Perhaps a small wager on the next fight might clear up your debts dear." she said smiling. "I hear that you managed to get a real contended this time Feggus."Feggus frowned. The speed of gossip is faster than warp 9.9. It must have been Vello Fen. "Let me guess. Fen told you?"She smiled. "Brazen to get a Starfleet officer."Feggus face turned into a wicked smile. "Yes, but he'll fight." the chime of a delicate bell sounded through the box. The uber rich patrons meandered over to the window. Looking down into a ring were two fighters. Each only wearing some sort of loin cloth thing, and a long curved stick. Each one had a large choker around their necks. One of the men, who looked timid and unsure of himself stood shaking in one corner. The other was a large Orion male who grinned with malicious intent. There was another chime and the Orion bounded across the ring. He took a wild swing with the stick and the timid man managed to block it with a crack. The offending stick slid up and off. The timid man spoke something, but those in the box couldn't hear it. The Orion took another swing. And another block. The large green man brought the stick around. The curved portion hit the other man in the head. There was a sickening crack as the head spun unnaturally to one side. Then the body fell to the ground where a puddle of crimson bloomed around the head. The Orion raised his hands and yelled. Miss X. took a puff from her cigar. "Lucky I didn't bet on that." she said looking down at the dead body. "What a shame it lasted as short as it did. It might have been an interesting bout."Feggus nodded and pulled up a communicator. "Get the Orion cleaned up for the next match. And inform Contestant 112 that his debts are paid in full. Get rid of the body."Down below Sven woke. His head was throbbing and his vision was a wavering mess. He felt a sudden jab in his right side. He grunted and sat up. A man, with long black hair had just kicked him hard in the side. "Wake up cupcake.""Where am I?""Paying off your debt.""What debt?""A certain somebody took a large sum of money out, and now you will pay it back. And if you don't You die along with your debtor. That's the wager that was made on you.""What wager?"The man boot stomped Sven in the chest. "Your turn contestant 113. Oh, and if you decide not to fight...." the black haired man pointed to the collar around Sven's neck and pantomimed an explosion. "Boom" [ Cashem Tashar | Adjur's Arena, Fenlo ]Cashem scoffed at Feggus's correction. So many rules. He got so tired of Ferengi sometimes. They had money but absolutely no class. Exhausting. But Cashem would play along lest he find himself unwelcome at Adjur's and be cast into even more abject boredom. But then he found out that the Conductor had got a Starfleet officer for a bought. However the Arena managed to do that, Cashem didn't know and didn't care. It was all in good fun, wasn't it? But a Starfleet officer. They hadn't had one of those since Cashem could remember. From what he heard they were well-trained and noble. Completely unpredictable and the risk was so high. Then the first round of fights began and Cashem lounged in a seat in the front row, placing his extravagent bets of his father's money. He won some, he lost some. He leaned over to Miss X. "Just once I'd like to see them really go for it, don't you? A little sport would be nice."Cashem always did this, gripe about the quality. But the fact was he kept coming back, again and again growing more and more numb to the carnage, every time needing more and more to satisfy. Sven Aune, cc Phoebe Volante

{Spoiler} [Charlie Fox - The Zephyr Club]"That's certainly what it looks like. Either that or they've mistaken you for a celebrity." Charlie herself was eyeing Kova, then her eyes narrowed just slightly, as though she was trying to figure out if the Andorian was actually famous. That they wanted to sleep with her being the most likely cause for their glances, she eventually turned her thoughts toward the observations on her species. "That is true, we do rather embrace imposing rules on ourselves, don't we? Craving structure. It's all so very..." She paused for a moment and pursed her lips, searching for the word that summed up how she felt about a lot of the human condition. "Traditional." She nodded, pleased enough with herself, and then returned her attention to her ale. It was going down quite easily. Kova successfully managed to redirect her attention again, this time toward the pair behind the bar. Charlie had picked up on some of the conversation alright, and had she been completely sober she'd have had the ability to replay every word in her mind. Alas, she was not, but that wouldn't stop her from offering an opinion. Not much did. "There was an older bloke in fancy robes pontificating in the square earlier. Something about expansion and cruise liners. They're building a new port, I think? Anyway, a few unhappy faces in that crowd left amidst the speeching. Maybe the unhappy faces are contagious." While Kova tapped away on her PADD, Charlie returned her own to her bag, just as Kaya arrived with an entourage in tow. She grinned at them; always pleased at the possibility of an impromptu party. "A trill," she pointed at Kaya Som, "A human," followed by Chloe, one of Charlie's eyes closing completely like she was looking down the scope of a rifle, "And a... Shavan!" She'd gone blindly into that one. Unperturbed, she continued, "Walk into a bar. Bartender says..."She turned and pointed at the approaching barman, who, with a sigh and a smile that suggested he was used to humouring all sorts, played along. "What can I get you?" [ Kova Sh'qaleq - The Zephyr Club, Fenlo] What little Kova found, or was allowed to find, proved to be the tale that she suspected. The rich wanted to get richer at the expense of everyone else. They also didn't take too kindly to anyone poking around too closely at it. Kova had considered delving a bit deeper, but thought that could invite more trouble than she cared for. The Andorian turned her attention to Charlie as she mentioned some older fellow yapping it up in the square. "Typical," was her only reply. The couple that had been watching still seemed to be doing just that, but seemed timid now that they were being scrutinized just as much. "I'm not interested," Kova finally said to the pair. They almost seemed shocked to have been noticed. "Perhaps my friend will warm up to you though after a few more drinks," Kova said flatly. She looked back towards Charlie with only a hint of a smirk. "Humans are good at breaking rules too."It was then that the Trill made her presence known. Kaya Som. Kova hadn't had any dealings with her, but the Trill was anything, but boring. Rumor was she'd almost gotten gutted a few weeks ago, she was the one that had publicly called out Lt. Niles practically as a warmonger and she tinkered. Kova didn't agree with the label of loser as she had been called out for reading. "It's the craziest thing," she began to answer. "After you do it, you all of a sudden know stuff."Chloe she knew. She was an unhealthy attachment to Harmon's right hand and then there was Shavan. They had only briefly gotten acquainted before their respective duties monopolized their times. It was about then that Charlie began to tell a joke. One beginning with a trill, a human and a Shavan walking into a bar. The bartender seemed inclined to humor her with the joke. Kova rolled her eyes, having heard a similar one during her Academy days. "Encourage her at your own risk," Kova advised the bartender. Whether he took it was a different atter altogether. [Chloe Hudson - Tram -> Zephyr Club]
Chloe nodded with a slight smile as Kaya tactfully describes Fenlo. She had heard about Fenlo's reputation as the seedier side of town. Suddenly, Kaya looked at her PADD and then called for a high five with Chloe emphatically provided with a playful laugh. It was good to let loose for a little.
They soon arrived at the Zephyr Club and approached Charlie and Kova. It was interesting seeing the Andorian there, her attitude rivalled that of Matthew's. Chloe hoped she wouldn't put a damper on their fun or mood. She shrugged as the bartender asked what they wanted. "I don't know, what's good?" she asked taking a seat next to Charlie and looking between her and the barman. "You can read plenty on the trip back, now's the time to unwind!" she said to Kova after she had responded to Kaya. Kova's response to Charlie's joke and Kaya's entrance had her worried already she'd ruin the mood. [Lt Shavan Th'zhaar - The Zephyr Club] Far from being offended, Shavan laughed as Charlie’s joke stumbled when it came to naming what species he was. “I do try to defy classification.” He raised an eyebrow skeptically when the conversation continued about reading. “And what’s worth knowing enough to read at a club?” He had to agree with Chloe. Since most of his steadily increasing duties involved being confined to the science lab on Front Ear, Shavan didn’t want to even see a PADD for the duration of this trip. But, to each their own. [ PO1 Kaya Som | Zephyr Club ]Kaya immediately found herself liking Kova's whole deal (and her face and her arms and her hair) and was pleased to find Charlie in rare form. That girl needed a break as much as Kaya did. Chloe was enabling and Shavan had a drink in his hand. It was going to be a good day. Night? What time was it. Kaya had been up for hours now, refusing to keep track of time. She was starting to think that she'd just stay. Starfleet could eat her lunch. "I'll take whatever's cold, strong, and local. Deep cuts only. Surprise me," she ordered from the bartender who seemed game for raucus tourists. "And food!" she called after him. The bartender read the room and didn't ask for more information than that. The Zephyr took pride in their food, best in the borough. But Kaya couldn't resist gossip and leaned over to see Kova's PADD being sure to bump into her shoulder. "What's this?" she asked, fixing her sunglasses on top of her head. [ Ellio Morrow | Zephyr, at the bar ]It was then that a knot of half a dozen locals arrived and filed past Kaya and her friends and headed up to the bar. They hardly had smiles on their faces. Ellio knew all of them, some since they were kids. "You heard?" "We're not going to let them take the Zephyr. You know that right?""Your uncle, he's done so much for us. You, too. Helped my boy.""Whatever need, just say the word, Ellio. We'll show those Dostalli they don't own everything."Ellio set her jaw and shook her head. This wasn't right. The Zephyr had been in her family since Celladore was colonized. They'd carved out their space, same as everyone. But the city had changed. The rich got richer, Fenlo was pushed aside, but the Zephyr had always pulled through and the Morrows always helped anyone who needed it. "We won't take no for an answer."Still without a word, Ellio pulled eight pints from the tap, one for each. Then began to pull more. "Round on the house!" she shouted, her voice determined. Then she said to her people: "spread the word. We'll need as many we can."Charlie Fox Kova Sh'qaleq Shavan Th'zhaar Matthew Harmon (Chloe)

[Two Suns Market - Dostallo] It wasn't difficult to pick up on the slight unease of her friends whilst simultaneously listening to Evekh with his drum, before Saya asked what the young boy's brother needed. If they knew the reasons then maybe it would be easier to decide the best way to help him, without causing any problems. Although he was definitely a natural when he told them that he was sick and how he was the only he had, before complimenting her and Saya. Yet something still didn't sit right with Lea as he then promised that he would pay them back and gave a figure of 70. As then hugged Lea, she reciprocated as she looked at her friends. " Perhaps you can take us to him as that's a lot of money to give a child. If you want to us help then I need to know that you're not lying to us". Even if he was trying to pull at their respective heartstrings, Lea wasn't about to hand over money if this was some kind of scam.

Then she said to her people: "spread the word. We'll need as many we can."[ Kova Sh'qaleq - The Zephyr Club, Fenlo] All the intrigue in what Kova had quickly become annoying, though not for her sake, but those that were so inquisitive. Truth be told, they were all better off not knowing. Chloe... Kaya... Shavan.... Their hands would be tied. Right here in this moment, ignorance truly was bliss. Perhaps they could be spared any real pain. They could enjoy the rest of their holiday, and return to the station with nothing but fond memories. It was simple enough: lie. That's what Kova had learned all her life. You always lied to the people you care about. "Those latinum-lined bureaucrats are going to knock over half of Fenlo for their new space port," Kova said simply. She placed her PADD on the table and then brought her glass to her lips. After a nice long drink, she placed her glass on the table after signaling to the bar for a refill. "Including this place."That was about the time that the Morrows entered, their anger and dissatisfaction more than evident. Kova leaned back in her chair, casually taking in the surroundings. She was pretty sure she had just delivered a buzzkill, but they had all asked for it. Ellio made her announcement about a round on the house, but that hadn't been the only thing she'd said. Her brief time on Chalna gave Kova a pretty good idea how all of this would play out. That little gathering would make some noise, and someone would find a way to shut them up. There were people you could persuade to be silent, and then there were people that you had to silence. Kova looked in the direction of the couple once again, though her eyes were actually glancing past them and towards Ellio behind the bar. "I think I have plans for tonight after all," said Kova with a shrug. She pushed herself up from her chair. "Snooze and you lose, Foxy."The Andorian started to move towards the bar. The couple that had been staring in Kova's direction seemed to perk up as she moved closer. Maybe the Fleeters would follow Kova's example. Find someway to enjoy themselves on this vacation. Getting involved would do them no good. They could find themselves reprimanded or worse. It was better this way. Leaning on the bartop, Kova smiled at the couple. Looking at them, she quickly concluded that this pair was probably from somewhere like Iowa. Her roommate back at the Academy always said that was where all the boring people came from. As the bartender approached, Kova offered a slight smile. "So, where would someone have to go if they wanted to find a little trouble later on?" she asked, though her finger made a subtle gesture towards the Morrows that had gathered.

Tag Ozu Saya Kaya Som [Ozu Saya, Domen Kyo and Domen Evekh - Two Suns Market] Saya's eyebrow was practically in her hairline by this point. The Bolian boy was laying it on rather thick. A few years ago, she wouldn't have recognized it, but with a child of her own, well...she'd heard that wheedling tone more times than she could count. Still, she was sympathetic to an extent and just didn't know how to extricate them from the situation. Kyo was becoming more and more suspicious of the boy, and the final straw came when he gave Lea a hug. His eyes followed the line of the boy's arm and saw the hand slip into Lea's pocket. Hey! he yelled, reaching out and jerking forward to try to grab Mott's arm. The sudden movement startled Evekh, and he bashed Kyo in the ear with his drum and grabbed a handful of hair on the other side as he felt like he was going to fall. Kyo yelped at the pain on both sides of his head, though he tried to stay focused on stopping Lea from getting her pocket picked.

[ Niva | Gallo ] Oh, what a whiny human! He was going to ruin everything! Niva kept pulling on him though she was half his size. If Starfleet here died there'd be an inquiry, she'd be investigated, her investors would let her loose and everyone who'd doubted her would be vindicated in their taunts she was a failure. She had to sort this out! "Freak accident! Total fluke! None of my human customers have died so far. Just stop being an arse and come on," she hissed. "Arrogant, suspicious, prejudiced human," she grumbled. "Won't accept help from a Ferengi. Typical!"She pushed him more. "It's not far!" [ Lt Joshua Niles - Somewhere in the Gallo, Celladore City ] If he'd had the strength to resist being shuffled along by that Ferengi, Niles certainly did not know it. His midsection was pretty much tied up in knots, courtesy of that potion she'd offered him and he was still trying to clear the steady stream of tears from his eyes. And, just as if to make things worse, his prosthetic left hand started twitching and opening and closing at random; what in the world was in that thing she'd given him? As he was being ushered further out of the public eye, Joshua started to realize just how much trouble he could be heading into. Dragged into back alleys, by someone who'd slipped him some concoction that was really not agreeing with him? That's the stuff that led to many a demise in crime holonovels. "Wait, where are you taking me, and what do you mean, by 'knowing what to do'?"That woman, taking offence with being considered with suspicion after she'd brought him low like this, what else was she expecting?!

[Shavan Th’zhaar - The Zephyr Club]
Shavan watched Kova walk away, her words lingering in the air. Judging by the people gathering, he had a feeling there was more to it than that. But whatever was going on here.. it wasn’t his fight. “We might as well have a good time while it lasts then.” Trying to keep the mood light and laugh it off as usual, he decided to stay around for another drink or two and then slip out before the situation escalated. Shavan didn’t know the others well but if they were smart they would do the same. Though whatever was happening.. was curious. Keeping his eyes on the growing crowd, he finished his drink and ordered another.

[ Stardate 06.12.2380, 1900 hours | Celladore City, Planet Ayo ]On most any other planet, this late hour would be marked by a single sun beginning its journey below the horizon. But as the Starfleet crew will have begun to expect now that they'd been ashore these last couple days, no night would fall on Celladore City. Ever. The suns still shone big and mellow overhead. Dostallo's Twin Suns Market had transitioned from the business hour crowd to the more laid back and more sparsely populated leisure set. There was more music but most species were ready for a long heavy meal. In Gallo, every theatre, opera house and dance hall is packed now. Performances include everything from low-brow farce, sensual spectacle and production of the highest order, rousing Klingon opera, and orchestra concerts. Buskers have taken over the streets. Stiltwalkers, palanquins on pachyderms, fire breathers, contortionists, and impossibly young violinists. Branching Thread - GalloBut the familial peace of Fenlo is hard to find now. When most are usually home gathered in kitchens or smoking cigars around chess boards, there's a ruckus at the Zephyr Club. The small public house is host to an overthrow crowd and no one is there for food or fare. Tonight they will take a stand. Branching thread - Zephyr Club Just down the street at Adjur's arena, things are heating up as a night of fights gets underway. Wealthy spectators are placing bets, all but oblivious to the struggles outside. Branching Thread - Adjur's Arena GM Note: This is an opportunity to continue on your respective side quests, meet up with another group, or start something new. This also might be a good time to try starting a new thread for different scenes, just to give it a shot. [Pink Flamingo - Two Suns Market, Dostallo]
Following a rather eventful trip to the market that had almost resulted in the loss of the good luck charm that Jeffy had given her. Lea had thanked Kyo who had stopped the wannabe thief, a small boy who was clearly desperate or very clever depending on why he had done it. Not that she was likely to find that anytime soon and so after reassuring Saya and her family that she would see them at some point, Lea left them in order to get to her meeting.
Jaxon was just as enigmatic as Jeffy had described him and whilst older than her Uncle, that didn't stop him from regaling her with stories about Jeff when he was younger. The fact that Jaxon knew Jeffy wasn't a huge surprise and now understood why he had been keen for Lea to meet him.
Aside from reliving his youth, a deal had been struck to supply the Blue Beta with a local brew that she naturally had to try. Having no concept as to exactly what time it was unless you kept track of a chronometer. Lea hadn't left for hours, happy to be in an establishment that reminded her of home as well as being unable to say no as Jaxon insisted that she stay for the evening meal.
So as she waited for this special to arrive, Lea nursed her second bottle of beer, enjoying the sounds of conversation and music.

[Ens. Phoebe Volante, Adjur- Adjur's Arena] With a thud the third opponent of the day hit the floor of the ring. Phoebe stood a couple metres back, hands on her hips and tapping her foot in irritation, waiting for the count to knock him out of the fight. She had come here to let loose, have fun and relax but so far everyone she was paired with was a considerable let down. She got all wound up and just as she was starting to get into the flow, down they went. She was becoming more and more frustrated with each bout, the exact opposite of why she was here. Once the count was done and she was declared the winner, she took a mouthful of water and called over to Adjur, "Is this all there is today? You promised me my blood would boil but I'm dieing of hypothermia here! Don't you have anything better? A sly Kardassian? A dextrous Romulan? A mighty Klingon? Or even some exotic warrior from the far reaches of the galaxy? Anything?" She flopped onto a chair and grumbled as she looked at those present. Non seemed to have any sort of muscles size or tone, and those she'd seen fight had little to no technique. At this rate she'd leave feeling worse than when she arrived. Adjur was a little surprised about being called out and walked over to Phoebe, "Unfortunately, it seems I over estimated the other attendees of the day. Or perhaps underestimated you. Sadly I do not know of anyone who fits those criteria that is available today." The klingon leaned in close, "There is, however, a more specialised arena through those doors and I think you've earned your way in." She gestured to the back of the hall, " But it is far more dangerous in there than even out in the streets.""Sounds perfect. Show me to the next fight.""I admire your willingness to fight, but are you sure you under-" She was cut off when Phoebe grabbed her by the lapel and pulled them nose to nose, "Did I stutter?" Adjur nodded as she free'd herself, "Very well, this way." She led Phoebe to the back of the hall and through the doors. The pair walked for a few minutes round corridors and down some stairs before reaching another arena area. It looked like it was being cleaned after a rather intense last fight. "You may look like a human Phoebe, but within you beats the heart of a klingon warrior. I hope it serves you well in here."

Sven was a hurting mess. He had fought 3 bouts against different individuals and barely scraped the last one. He was trying to figure out a way to remove the explosive collar when they locked him up between the spars, but there was someone always watching. He heard the bell and knew he was soon up again. He touched his face, a bruised purple blemish was growing under his eye. There had to be a way to get out of this mess. Well, there was one. Win and pay off that Vello guys debts. The door to his semi-cell slid open and a woman dressed in a resplendent red evening gown clutching an equally red hand bag and a cigarette on the end of a long stick between her fingers stepped into the light. "Oh, dear. You are a mess." Sherry said. Sven grunted. and looked up. He took a double take. He's seen her face before. "You have been the talk of the town. I of course knew you would be a super star. I've seen you taken out a man before. But the other patrons. Well Let's just say that Star Fleet tends to be all or nothing when it comes to their combat aptitude."She took a step closer. Sven wracked his brain. Who was she.... That's right. From the Blue Beta. During that terrorist attack. "I know you." he said. "You don't know me darling. We are at best, acquittances." she took a long draw off her cigarette and exhaled. "You've made me a considerable amount of Latium in the last 4 hours.""You're betting on me? Why?" "Honey, I haven't placed a single bet down. You see, A certain someone barrowed money from me. And they swore that you were the ticket to paying me back. They have been betting on you, and winning, which in turns pays me. It's how the game is played.""You will be locked up for this.""Oh, no. I won't. You see, I haven't broken any laws. It's not illegible to lend money. And how my creditors choose to repay me is their own business.""Vello Fen.""Is just a puppet. You do know that there are larger forces at play here? A certain political somebodies -I don't have a penchant for politics- son is making a right mess of things. And needless to say, his father is.... dabbling in shady ventures that are, at best, going to displace a great number of people.""Why are you telling me this?" Sven spat. "Because I want you to bring it to the public eye." she gestured around her, "All of this. Exploiting the poor so a few can keep on the thrown and their coffers filled. Oh don't get me wrong. It's lovely to be rich. But at what cost. The Twilight City is glamorous. But flip it over and what you find is a septic tank of filth. Rotten at its core." She knelt down. "This is your last bout. And you have to win. But you aren't going to like it. It's against one of your own. I believe her name is Phoebe. And if you throw the fight. Well, I don't have to tell you what will happen to your head. And if you loose. Then everything I've been working towards here. Exposing the corruption will be for naught."She stood, turning to leave. With a flick of her cigarette she added, "I do hope you make the right choice. You do have a handsome face."The bell rang once again and Sven found himself in the sandy pit. Overhead Feggus was on the speaker. "Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the final bout for the Evening. A stunning turn of events to tickle your fancy. The Tank, how has now won four bouts in a row. The jewel of Star Fleet is going to take on a new challenger. One that, from my sources say, is from his own ranks. How will they fare? And don't have to worry folks. Any thrown fights end with, well a nice show of fireworks!"Oh shit... Sven thought as he saw Phoebe pushed into the ring. Tag Kaya Som Phoebe Volante

[Ens. Phoebe Volante - Adjur's Arena, The pits] As the afternoon had passed and become the evening, Phoebe had fought two opponents. The first was a thin, lightly toned trill woman who, while a better fighter than the amateurs on the main floor, still paled in comparison to Phoebe. The fight didn't leave her as frustrated as the previous ones had, but still left her wanting. It felt more like a warm up or a sparring match with a second year cadet. The second opponent was more enjoyable, a brawny Orion. He had some real power behind his punches, but seemed to lack any discipline, swinging more like the berserkers of old than a trained fighter. His glass jaw was his downfall, though Phoebe had to stop dodging and take a hit to her shoulder to create an opening and land the deciding blow. Phoebe had been tending to her bruised and fairly painful arm when she was told her rest time was up and was practically marched out towards another arena. This one was well lit and had an audience, several of which looked like they enjoyed the finer things in life. It seemed she had been 'promoted' to the 'big leagues'. She finished tieing off the bandage around her left arm, not even fully covering the still developing bruise, as a voice boomed throughout the arena introducing her as a challenger to 'The Tank'. 'The Tank'? The womans mind began to rapidly flow with thoughts about the chosen nick-nme of her opponent. Pressumably a large fighter able to shake of multiple hits. Large muscles would make them slower than her smaller but agile frame. But while she can attack fast, it would mean nothing if the attacks were just absorbed. So she should just dodge around and make it a constest of endurance and stamina? But that wasn't as fun. Phoebe shook the thoughts out of her head and began to stretch and warm her muscles back up. All that can wait for now. One-on-One fights rarely go the way you plan anyway. She bounced a little on her toes and rolled her shoulders and climbed into the ring where she was met with a surprising sight. Lieutenant Commander Aune was waiting for her, definitly matches the term 'Tank'. Phoebe was a little shocked that he was here, she had thought he was more into body building than fighting, but then she hadn't had much time to get to know him yet. The woman limbered up one last time before planting her feet and getting into her stance, ready to go as soon as they were told. This was promising to be fun.

[Pink Flamingo - Two Suns Market, Dostallo]
The atmosphere within the bar only seemed to get more energetic and lively as Jaxon returned with Leanna's evening meal. " Here we go Leanna, the finest meal you'll ever get to eat and no I'm not just saying that" Jaxon stated jovially. Leanna simply grinned at his statement, wishing that Jeffy was here to witness all of this.
However hunger soon took over any sad thoughts and what ifs as Jaxon looked at her expectantly. Not wanting to disappoint, Lea took her first bite of the meat and vegetable dish. " You weren't wrong Jaxon, it's really good" Lea replied honestly, sensing the proprietor's delight as he then left her to enjoy the meal.

[ Terimi Bai | The Pink Flamingo, Twin Suns Market ]It had been too long since Terimi Bai had stopped at her best friend's restaurant the Pink Flamingo, right off the Twin Suns Market. "It's an Earth bird. Humans will love it," Jaxon had told her. It was a silly name but solid stretegy, fellow restauranteur Terimi had to admit - humans were known for being both curious and homesick (and most of the time, very prosperous). "He's over with a customer," the host said and pointed the way. "A Betazoid here on business."Ooh! Terimi put her hands in the pockets of her suit. It was always nice to meet a wide-travelling Betazoid, someone who spoke her language. She went on over and stood next to Jaxon, smiling. "Hello, Jax," she greeted the human. And then to the guest, she spoke telepathically. ~ "Welcome. I'm Terimi Bai." ~Leanna Mazal

[ Callum Tashar | Cho restaurant, Mazzalo ]Continued from earlier today...The reception had lasted far into the afternoon but by the time the dinner hour had approached, most of the guests had gone on their way. Some went to shows in Gallo, others onward to other social engagements. Callum himself had stayed, finding diversion in the smaller conversations and the peace and quiet. He browsed over the steady flow of small plates of creative dishes. His generosity flowed, a replacement for the connection he'd never had with his foul-up of a son who would he'd not see a hair of. And there, a family. A handsome family. They were just being seated. Callum waited until the server finished taking drink orders and then approached. "Good evening," he said with a little bow. "I'm Callum Tashar. How are you finding our fine city? A fine looking child. Hello, there little one!"Ozu Saya
