[ SCPO Melihn Ryah - Sickbay] Ryah helped the nurse get Lea to a biobed, then patted her shoulder comfortingly before heading over to stand in front of the security chief. Sir, you look like you still need to be horizontal, she remarked with a smile. Tactically, well, I don't know officially. I was doing an extra shift on the promenade when I stopped to help Lea. It seems like there's malfunctions happening just all over the station. You know those little problems we've been having over the last few weeks? I think it's gotten a lot worse. I was going to check in with you after I helped Lea to sickbay; didn't know you were already here. We might need to increase patrols since a lot of the businesses are having problems with their security shutters and other systems.---------- Tag Leanna Mazal , Jovireh Velal , and Sven Aune
[ MCPO Ozu Saya - Ops] Saya was pleased to hear K'Dex's voice, though she couldn't spare more than a moment to hope that he would be able to get aboard safely with all of the problems on the station. She headed to the engineering station and gestured Kova to join her. I'll get you set up on a station in a moment. I'd like your assistance in checking the status of each primary system, especially what other systems they've been rerouted through. Then we're going to shut down every secondary and tertiary system we can without compromising primary systems. Give me one moment, Saya added, tapping her combadge. =/\= Ozu to Hugo. We've discovered the cause of the malfunctions, she said dryly. There are some sort of rodents chewing on everything. Saya shook her foot as she felt a slight weight against her trouser leg. Kova Sh'qaleq is going to work with me from Ops. We've got to start shutting down unnecessary systems. Pull all repair teams off of any work except primary systems and focus on getting them back to minimal efficiency so that we can undo all of the rerouting that was done automatically by the computer. Send some people to Ops to start catching these things. If you can get a replicator working, maybe replicate some nets? she said doubtfully. Nets? George asked incredulously. Saya could almost hear his eyebrow raising. If you have a better idea, I'd be gratified to hear it, she replied archly. =/\= There was an inarticulate grumble from the other end of the comm before it disconnected. ---------- Tag Kova Sh'qaleq , softies to the rest of Ops [Capt. Judith Eastman(-Williams) & PO3 Roland L. Jenkins - Ops -> Commanding Officer's Office]"Oy vey iz mir," Judy lamented. Of course Jett was involved in this, as he was in all things questionable. "I think it's time to meet with Mr. Jett. He's just the kind of schmuck to do this," she assessed. "Let's head to my office."Before heading out, she turned to Saya. "Chief, you're in charge. Make sure our business owners and the major departments know about anything that's going to affect them."With that, she headed down the hall to her office, motioning for Harmon and Jenkins to come with. =A= "Eastman to Aune. Pick up Thomas Jett and bring him to my office. I'll have more detailed instructions sent to you in writing," =A= the Captain ordered her Chief of Security. "Jenkins, I need you to take this down and send it to Commander Aune.""Yes, Captain."He began to type on his PADD. "Our current malfunctions are caused by a rodent infestation, which we believe entered the station from Thomas Jett's ship, the Falcon. I want Jett brought into my office for questioning - not an arrest, but don't be too sweet, considering he is a traitor - and then you should go to whatever docking bay he stopped in when he visited 4 weeks ago, and look for evidence, but don't search his ship," she dictated. To search the Falcon, of course, they needed a warrant. From the Office of Captain Judy Eastman-Williams, PhD
Malfunctions caused by rodents, maybe brought by Jett's ship 4 weeks ago. Bring Jett to CO's office to question, don't be nice. Judy's jacket, left behind in Ops, proved a delightful hiding place for the rodents.
Tag Ozu Saya , Matthew Harmon , Sven Aune [Lt. Paawin Riyo - Front Ear - Sickbay]Riyo relaxed slightly when he heard Lea's reassurance in his mind. A broken ankle was still concerning, but at least it wasn't too serious. And she had made it here. With the help of the nurse and the security, she made it inside, and he returned her small smile as they helped her to a biobed. His gaze shifted to Sven as the man sat up, asking for information. So it seemed he didn't remember much about the events prior to the surgery... A small favor. "Station-wide malfunctions across all systems. You were victimized by the grav plating in the gym. Multiple broke bones in your torso, he both shoulders dislocated and torn. Once the pain meds kicked in, you decided to leave." He paused and looked down at his shoulder. At least the swelling was going down a bit. "I was stupid enough to try and stop you. You fell, and some of the bone fragments entered your lung." He decided not to mention the loss of power just yet. "But clearly we got you all fixed up. Your vital signs have remained stable, so as long as you feel up to returning to duty, I have no reason to stop you."Which was a god thing, as the Commander was summoned over the com by Captain Eastman. Did this mean the nightmare was almost over? Riyo turned his attention back to Lea, where the nurse had already got to work removing the splint and examining the injury. "Now what happened?"
Tag Leanna Mazal |Sick bay -> Security office || lt. Sven Aune || Crewman Alice Duff || Crewman Edgar RagdeSven felt light headed and rubbed it as Ryah spoke to him. "Minor malfunctions. Do you think it may have been sabotage?" he asked the SCPO. "Good idea increasing patrols. Let's make our presence known."he looked to the doctor and grimaced. "Aye. Sorry about that. my system doesn't handle sedative well. They tend to do wonky things to me." He didn't remember any of what had happened and the extremely awkward interaction he had with the doctor. Just then his combadge chirped. =A= "Acknowledged." =A= Thomas Jett? The traitor? "Duff, you're with me. Ragde, you stay here and help out where you can."Alice nodded and did a little salute "Aye Aye!" she said with a bright smile. Edgar sniffed and set his blob of glasses down. "Yes sir."Sven stood, and steadied himself, "Thank you doctor." he said as he pushed his way through the door, followed by a frizz of red hair. Alice spoke "Thomas Jett?""Yes, Tom.""Why would the station's captain want him?""I'm not sure. But seeing that he's a traitor, and a very shady individual with a reputation, I wouldn't doubt that it may have something to do with all these malfunctions." they turned into the security office. Sven noted that his PADD had a message from Eastman. "Yup. Well, first order of duty. Rounding up Jett. Computer, locate Thomas Jett."Duff gave Aune a look. "Assuming he hasn't done anything to throw off his location." he replied with. "Download his biosignature onto your tricorder. We may have to play hide and seek with him."Alice nodded and went to work pulling up his file "Thomas Jett is located on 7, promanade. the computer replied. Sven nodded and opened the security locker and handed a phaser to Duff, and one for himself. A few minutes later they found themselves outside Engineering. Duff began scanning for the man's biosignature as they walked along the main corridor. "He's that a way." she said pointing towards a dimly lit and seedy bar. They entered. Sven stood tall, with his shoulders back. He eyed the man, the Bolian youngster. "Thomas Jett? Come with me." it wasn't a request. "The station's captain would like a word with you."

His eyes squinted briefly as he looked at the station, and noticed the exterior lights out in an irregular pattern. He wondered if they were doing maintenance on one of hte lines, but from what he'd last remembered, none of those lights were even on the same EPS partitions. His ear flicked with curiosity. [Capt. Judith Eastman(-Williams) & Staff - Ops]Yes, this was exactly what it looked like. They had a large infestation of unclear origin, but self-evident nature. Judy regretted donning one of her favored skirts, instead of the more common pants, as one rodent began to climb up her calf. She kicked it off promptly, but it was unpleasant, and brought up the real risk of a bite. Well, if she wanted to keep her gams free of infection, the best way to do so was to do her job - of making sure all the needed jobs got done. "Ms. T'Laara, take Mabel with you, and we'll send an engineer your way soon," she issued the first directive. "Ms. Sh'qaleq, Chief, why don't you work from up here on a damage-mitigation strategy? We need to coordinate on keeping the lights on, literally and metaphorically speaking.""Mr. Harmon..."The sound of the hail (apparently the flight controllers' headsets were glitching) cut through the Captain's remarks mid-sentence. =A= "Float, you are clear to enter... uh... the main shuttlebay, manual approach," =A= the controller ordered, playing it safe. The mic on the headset, it seemed, still worked. Judy paused for a moment, recognizing the voice on the other end. With engineering stretched so thin, who better to send to work with T'Laara than a fresh one? "That's K'Dex. Welcome him back, and have him report to Henriksen in the lab," she said, making a point of recognizing the old-new crewmember's voice, and of courtesy. =A= "Captain Eastman wants you to come to the science lab as soon as you dock, and report to Lieutenant Henriksen for duty. Welcome back," =A= the controller added. "As I was saying, Mr. Harmon, what have you found?"Mabel walked swiftly to join T'Laara en route to the lab. Jenkins stood back beside the Captain, having set her jacket on the Captain's chair. [LCDR Matthew Harmon - Ops]
A varied cast of characters soon arrived in Ops following Harmon's....discovery. Luckily Mabel had managed to catch one of the little rodent bastards so they didn't have to further embarrass themselves trying to herd one into captivity. "Of course he did," Harmon said gruffly to Jenkins as he reported about Jett. He glared at Kova as she entered the room, and then dusted off and tugged downwards on his uniform to adjust it before responding to the Capitan. "A lot of these little fu....uh, furry bastards," he said cutting himself off before getting too profane, "And that Thomas Jett has docked with us twice in this period. He's the only one we've classified as red. Perhaps he...uh I mean his ship, picked up something unpleasant in some squalid, seedy port." Judy's jacket, left behind in Ops, proved a delightful hiding place for the rodents. [ Kova Sh'qaleq - Ops, Front Ear Station ] The parting comments made by Mabel and the Vulcan, T'Laara would have been laughable under different circumstances, but certainly not these. Kova had been assigned... not asked, to work with Chief Ozu, whom had a few decrees of her own to give to the Andorian of how they were supposed to proceed. There was no real objection made by Kova. The sight of Harmon swallowing her swears in front of the Captain seemed to suffice as compensation for the time being. Pretty soon, they were off to confront Captain Thomas Jett, essentially accusing him of being responsible from what Kova could tell. It seemed to be a waste of time, since she doubted how to actually remove the problem. And Kova was convinced that they were probably looking for a more humane solution as opposed to a practical one. Saya's orders were still at the forefront of Kova's mind. She didn't object when the Vulcan said that she'd get her into a terminal. She listened as her counterpart, Hugo, was essentially reduced to duties of capturing these rodents with nets. At least it was a job that hadn't been thrown her way. If anything, it seemed to be the sort of task to keep that Vulcan blowhard, Sorren, busy. Kova began to review the systems, her eyes attempting to make heads and tails of the chaos that had been caused by these furry little monsters. "Do we even know why these things are where they are?" the Andorian asked. She continued her survey of the systems as she phrased the question aloud. "Why are they nibbling at the relays instead of hording around any of the food supply?" The question she posed seemed to fade from conscious thought as something on her screen caught her attention. "It's probably for the best to keep power running through the holodeck's network. Some of the main power relays have been compromised. It looks like power was re-routed through the holodecks to keep power distribution flowing."There were a few warning chimes sounding from her terminal. A frustrated groan left Kova's lips. "While the holodeck is one of the more robust systems, it won't be able to support that distribution indefinitely. If that network collapses, about a third of the station could lose life support."
Tag: Ozu Saya [ SCPO Melihn Ryah - Sickbay] Ryah gave Sven a nod of acknowledgement along with a shrug regarding his question about sabotage. She didn't know enough about what was going on to comment. She offered a smile over her shoulder before she slipped through the slightly wider opening of the sickbay doors and headed for the security office on the promenade. Ryah collected a handful of the security officers that had yet to head out on their regular duties, or were coming in from other parts of the station, and dragged them along with her with the orders, Help wherever you can and keep an eye out for anyone taking advantage of the malfunctions. Physically check any security shutters that are down to make sure they're still sealed.---------- Exit tags for Sven Aune, Jovireh Velal and Leanna Mazal
[ MCPO Ozu Saya - Ops] Saya blew out a harsh breath and shook her head. I wouldn't venture to guess why or how they're causing so much destruction. They must be finding enough to eat, somewhere, to have proliferated so extensively. Hopefully, science can give us some answers soon. I'm certain that nets aren't exactly an efficient means of catching the creatures, but I'm afraid that anything more technologically advanced might be beyond us with the extent of the malfunctions. She leaned forward to look more closely at the information Kova had pointed out. It looked bad. Repair teams should be able to get some of the primary relays back online in short order. Until then, let's see if we can redistribute some of the load from the holodeck systems. We may have to play musical relays as they're repaired. I'm concerned that as quickly as we make repairs, they're going to be damaged again. Saya glanced toward the high panel that had been removed where, every few seconds, a few more of the tiny creatures tumbled to the floor. Most of the operations officers were taking it in turns to stand under the opening with their jackets spread to catch as many of the shrews as they could before moving away. None of them seemed to know what to do from that point other than stand out of the way with armloads of rodents. Saya shifted uneasily as the thought occurred to her that they might not have any other solution besides killing the creatures. Even if they were pests, she didn't like the idea of ending their lives simply because they had the misfortune of being deposited in a place where they had no choice to be. Perhaps they were beneficial to the environment of wherever they were from. ---------- Tag Kova Sh'qaleq

[Front Ear - Science Lab] After a few minutes of rather arduous climbing, having been warned away from the turbo lifts and deciding halfway down to make a pit stop to drop off his things at main engineering in his locker, only to quickly backpedal away from the chaos that greeted him there, he arrived on Deck 26. After multiple attempts of bugging the computer for an accurate reading, he found the science lab Ensign Henriksen was in, and entered, slightly worn from the exertions to get there. "Ensign K'Dex, reporting in. I've gathered scattered comments, but what's actually going on?" He said as he approached the scanner holding the tiny creature. [NPC - Lt. j.g. Mabel Henriksen - Ops -> Science Lab]"They really are," Mabel agreed on the animals' adorableness. Upon arrival in the lab, it became evident what they are, and they got reinforcements in the form of an engineer "Ensign, we have an infestation of these rodents, Caldonian shrews. They're causing damage to many of our systems," she explained. She left it to T'Laara and K'Dex to work on solutions, while she turned to address a different facet of the infestation. =A= "Henriksen to Sickbay, we have a rodent infestation. Can you send someone with an understanding of infectious diseases to the science labs?" =A= she asked. [ T'Laara - Science Lab] T’Laara turned her attention to the computer screen as she quickly read up on Caldonian shrews, looking for any pieces of information that could be relevant to their current situation. Meanwhile the doors to the lab parted and an engineer arrived to help. “That’s right,” she agreed with Mabel’s summary of the situation and nodded in greeting to the Caitian. “Any practical ideas you have on how to safely remove them, from an engineering standpoint, could be useful.”
She resumed reading, raising an eyebrow as some of the pieces started to come together. “As evidenced by what we have already seen, Caldonian shrews breed very quickly. Depending on when and how many first arrived, there could indeed be thousands of them on the station already. We will need to know more about the source to get a more accurate estimate.” Fortunately, from what she had overheard in her brief visit to Ops, there were already people working on that. “However, they are not communal animals, and usually seek out their own territory. Due to their small size and fast metabolism, they are also highly driven to seek out food. And their diet consists mainly of minerals… which I believe can be found in most technology. It is likely that they are actually attracted to the wiring for both food and warmth.” She glanced at the one they had captured as it twitched its whiskers at them. “So, they are innately driven to spread out all over the station and continually seek out nutrients, requiring more and more as their population grows. It seems we have inadvertently created an ideal environment for them to thrive unchecked.” T’Laara looked at her Starfleet companions. While she knew of strategies for containing invasive species, actually putting a plan in motion here would be a daunting task. Tag Judith Eastman , K'Dex

[Sickbay - Front Ear] " Yes I was definitely lucky that I didn't" Lea admitted, knowing that she could of received a more serious injury if she had fallen elsewhere. She was also aware of Riyo's frustration at not being able to be closer, but just having him nearby was comforting, especially after the day that she'd had so far. Although with them both being injured they could eventually remember this moment and laugh about it. However when Sven spoke to Riyo and thanked him before leaving with the others. Lea was curious when Riyo looked to her with an amused grin and explained what had happened. Lea knew that he was trying to take her mind off the pain and being treated and she found the whole thing highly amusing. " I can't say that I blame him for asking you out and let me guess, that's how you ended up with a busted shoulder?".Lea was trying her best not to laugh or grin or show that she was teasing him, but Riyo knew what she was like. When he then got the call from Mabel, it appeared that her time with Riyo was about to be cut short again. She knew that she was being irrational and that he had a job to do but she just had to shake it off and get back to the bar when she was able as this rodent infestation was beginning to make a lot of sense.
Tag Jovireh Velal [Lt. Paawin Riyo - Front Ear - Sickbay]Riyo nodded when Lea asked if that was how he hurt his shoulder, clenching his jaw briefly as the nurse moved the instrument down to his upper arm. "Faith may be able to move mountains... but apparently arms can't stop them." Next time, he would just let the Commander fall. It would be easier to repair the damage done if he wasn't in a great deal of pain himself. "Alright, that'll do it sir. Try to take it easy, and it'll probably still be weak and a little sore for a day or two. If the pain gets worse or the swelling comes back, let us know."The doctor raised an amused eyebrow as the nurse gave him aftercare instructions, as if he wasn't already aware of how to take care of himself. He didn't say anything though, and finally stood up, rotating his arm a few times to make sure there wasn't any sharp pains anywhere. Satisfied that all the damaged tissue had been repaired, he carefully put his jacket back on before walking over to Lea. "I better get to the science labs, make sure we don't have to worry about an epidemic on top of the malfunctions. Take good care of her." The last part was said to the nurse who was using another instrument to heal the fracture in Lea's ankle, and she nodded with a knowing smile. "Of course. She'll be out of here soon." He gave Lea's hand a gentle squeeze, fighting the urge to kiss her as he tried to be slightly more professional while in uniform, on duty and in Sickbay. "No more falls. I'll see you later." With a reassuring smile, he released her hand and left Sickbay. [Science Lab] Striding into the lab, he easily found Mabel, a Vulcan scientist and Caitian engineer (the start of a bad joke?) gathered around the monitors. "Sorry for the delay. What have we got?" Stopping beside the group, he peered into the container holding the critter for observation. "Well aren't you just the most adorable little troublemaker in the galaxy?" With how tiny it was, he had to wonder just how many were on the station for them to have caused such wide-spread damage... [Sickbay - Front Ear] Leanna understood the reference that Riyo was making and he wasn't wrong either when it came to Sven Aune. Although did find it somewhat amusing again when the nurse treating her Imzadi gave him aftercare instructions once she had finished treating his shoulder. In all honesty she was just glad that he was okay as he then made his way over to her as his presence alone kept her uplifted. His concern still very much evident as he told her where he was going and spoke to the nurse who was helping her, reassured that she would soon be injury free. Lea also knew that he was fighting the urge to kiss her as he squeezed her hand and spoke to her again. " I promise and you will".Then she smiled back as he let go and left to go help save the station, leaving her to finish her treatment.

Obviously, she was no stranger to fear, but she wasn't used to being in charge of things. And she didn't like the seemingly inevitable conclusion. "We don't have anywhere to put them, so we might need to... kill them," she whispered, clearly disheartened. Mabel was happy to see the doctor arrive, but less happy to see him find the shrews adorable. It reminded her of her own sentiments, which made it harder to accept the merit of pest control. "These are Caldonian shrews, and the station is infested," she explained.

[NPC - Lt. j.g. Mabel Henriksen - Science Lab]Mabel could almost imagine Captain Eastman muttering some Yiddishism, experiencing for herself that combination of drive, dread, and responsibility. [ T’Laara - Science Lab] T’Laara glanced at Mabel as she morosely admitted they might have to kill the shrews. She didn’t like that idea either. It would be an unfortunate waste of life. “That would be a last resort.” However, it looked like if they wanted to save them, they would have to come up with some alternative ideas fast. “Unfortunately, from a natural science perspective, there aren’t many methods for dealing with invasive species that would work here and don’t involve killing them. In the closed environment of a space station, there is nowhere to drive them off to. Nor can we remove their food source, as it appears to be essential parts of the station itself. However, we could seal off the areas they have already infested and set up traps that are more appealing than the wiring.” Although that could take time. Perhaps there was a more high-tech solution for this. Thinking quickly, she looked between the engineer and the doctor, who had both been summoned for the different perspectives they would bring to this problem. “I know that the transporters are typically used only on more complex life forms, but is there any way that they could be reconfigured to scan for the shrews’ life signs and beam them into one place?” This she directed towards K’Dex. To the doctor she asked, “Or could you synthesize a substance that would render them unconscious en masse without killing them?”tag K'Dex Jovireh Velal Judith Eastman

Tag Jovireh Velal [Nurse - Front Ear - Sickbay]Turning off the regenerator, the nurse took a step back and smiled at Leanna. "There you go. Try standing, see how it feels." There shouldn't be any lingering pain, but the woman always preferred making sure she didn't miss anything before sending the patient off. Tag Leanna Mazal
[NPC - Lt. j.g. His brain began turning over the options, and he took his tricorder off his belt and began to run his own scans of the creature. "Synthesizing a tranquilizer or sedative will be easy enough, it's just a matter of dosage. If we could lure them into a larger area - like the holosuites maybe - and sedate them there, it'll be much easier to gather them up." Now to think of an appropriate bait... His gaze focused on the readings coming across his tricorder. "There's an abundance of tritanium in his little system... maybe the wiring acts like a roughage to help with digestion..." He turned off the tricorder and replaced it on his belt, turning his attention to the Engineer. "We wouldn't happen to have an overstock supply of tritanium anywhere, would we?" Putting a large amount of the critter's favorite food in one place was usually the best way to lure any animal to a specific location.

[Sickbay - Front Ear] Once the regenerator had done its job and the nurse asked Leanna to try standing to see how it felt. The Betazoid was a little hesitant at first which was likely due to how horrible a day she was having until her trip to Sickbay. Yes she now had an idea what had caused it but she would definitely be glad when it was all over. " Okay" she replied before taking a deep breath. Then she swivelled slightly and set both feet on the ground before standing up, holding onto the bed for support. Not that she needed it for long when she was able to stand properly with an ankle that didn't hurt and felt brand new. " Thank you, it feels a lot better".

[Outside of Engineering] Tom smiled at the kid as they wondered. He was ready to take the child to a hole in the wall bar which made the best pizza on the Station. The place was shady and had some rough people but for some reason, they know how to make a greasy down to good pizza. As he mentioned about his digestive system, Tom could not help but nod. The food was supposed to be great. “Behold your life is about to change” . [Promenade – Whole in the Wall Bar] They approached the dim lightroom. The floor was kept decent. But it was ok. He observed the child as he sat at the Bar. He struggled a little bit and observed him in the bar stool. Jett took his seat next to him and listened to the question. He wanted to know what Pizza was. “Nah, not Rigellian. It’s ancient Earth Food. It’s pretty much dough, Tomato sauce, tons of cheese, and maybe some meats”. Tom wondered which one he would order but since this is the first time he would try and keep it simple. “Barkeep, give me a Synthale, double pepperoni pizza and some Coke” Tom would wait for a second as the person took their order and handed their drinks. “Rule No. 1 about Pizza. Never eat Healthily. Rule No. 2 Always have holodeck games afterward “ Some said as he told the kid some fun rules. He grabbed his Synthale glass and said “Cheers!” As soon as he finished he observed a Security Officer. Tom knew that whole in the wall bars is not exactly the place for them to hang out. He wanted something. Security must have seen what happened . Tom though. Thinking that the kid was the culprit. Tom turned around from his chair and stood up. He tried to shield the child from security. He observed and thought of his options. This security officer looks big. Even big enough that he might be nervous stalling time for the kid. As the security officer approached he mentioned his name. Tom was a little surprised that security was after him. As they wanted him to come with him. “It looks like we are getting the Pizza to go kid.” . He told Mott. He nodded at the Barkeep and tossed some money at the bar table. “Ok…lead the way. Where too?” . Tom said as he wanted to know where he was going. He was not putting a fight or anything as there was a chance the Bolian kid might get hurt in any struggle. Tag Avi Moz Sven Aune [ Mott Moz | Bar, Promenade ]The excitement was building. The pizza sounded delicious, cheese was now a player, and there were rules. Mott fully appreciated a bit of ritual around eating. It brought people together. But the fun was over. Mott knew security when he saw it but he'd never seen a person of any species as big as this one, not even a Klingon. He wasn't alone either - there were two of them and Mott saw the phasers at their hips. Mott knew better than to run: first, they weren't here for him, and second he didn't think he'd be able to slip past them. So instead, as quietly as he could, Mott slid down from the stool to all but disappear behind Thomas Jett. Maybe Thomas Jett was a pirate, a real one. That would certainly be a pity for him to get nicked. Not least because now Mott might not get to try pizza. "Careful," he whispered. "Don't get zapped, ochi."At least Jett didn't seem worried - like this had happened to him either zero times or a thousand times. Thomas Jett , Sven Aune |Whole in the Wall Bar || lt. cmdr Sven Aune | Crewman Alice DuffSven gave Jett a hard look and then to the young Bolian. "Is he part of your crew? Seems awfully young. The Captain wants to see you." he said. "Come along." he gave the traitor a command. "Alice, take care of the boy. I'll take care of the bill." Sven took a position slightly behind Tom. urging him to move forward. He tapped his combadge, =A= Capt'n, I have Jett. we're on our way. =A=
Alice, nodded and squatted down on her haunches. "Pizza huh? Nothing better in the world. But that's my opinion. What did you get on yours?" she asked in a kindly big sister way. Tags Judith Eastman Kaya Som Thomas Jett

[ Mott Moz | Bar, Promenade ]Mott frowned and crossed his arms. There was no shoving or shouting, but Mott knew what an arrest looked like. They were just trying to have a good time and eat loads of cheese and pizza and security was going to ruin it for no reason. Probably worse, the smaller human had been left behind as a babysitter. With a big sigh, Mott momentarily accepted the indignity of being treated like a little kid. They just didn't know that he could handle himself. "I don't know, papaponi?" He didn't remember the word Jett had used. He watched the giant and Jett walk off, for the moment, more peeved about the cool pirate being carted away than his third meal of the day. "Where are they going?" he asked Alice. "He didn't do anything."Thomas Jett, Sven Aune (Alice)

[Promenade – Bar] As the guard instructed him that he was supposed to leave. Mott asked him not to get zap. Jett merely appeared calm and confident and responded “Don’t worry, I got this kid. . As he finished, he gave the Mott a thumbs up with his right hand. He followed the security and began walking. It appeared that they would keep an eye out for the kid. He did not say much in the subject as he barely knew the kid and the last thing he wanted is to endanger him. “You need to tell me what Ochi means? It does not sound like a bad ass nickname” . Jett said with a faint smile. When security asked him if he was a member of his crew. He smiled and said “Maybe in the future. But he first need to learn how to eat Pizza.”. Tom continued with his smile as he walked to the CO’s Office. [CO’s Office] Tom walked to the CO’s Office following his instructions. With the Kid around security and whatever he did could be implicated to the kid. Tom did not create any issues as remained silent as he did not know or had an idea why the CO’s going to talk to him. As Tom entered the Officer he looked around and said “Reporting as requested” . He said in a deadpan tone as he awaited to hear why he was summoned. Avi MozSven AuneJudith Eastman

[LCDR Matthew Harmon - CO’s Office] The traitor was soon brought in for questioning by Sven. His blunt and deadpan ‘reporting as requested’ response as he faced the Captain almost took Harmon off guard. He was usually full of bluster and bombast, but seemed to be suppressing that for now. Or more likely, perhaps he was waiting for an opening. “I’ll be asking the questions,” he said with a passive aggressive smile. “First, we...request you allow Security to inspect your vessel. It would be wise to acquiesce now before charges of assault against those security officers are filed,” he said implying life would be made very difficult for him if he didn’t give them what they wanted. “Secondly, we require a list of all locations your vessel has docked with in the past two weeks.” Tag: Judith Eastman, Sven Aune, Thomas Jett

"Take Jenkins with you; he's great at keeping records.""Yes, ma'am, sir," Jenkins reported in, standing at attention with his PADD in hand. Judy turned back to Harmon and Jett. "Trust me, Mr. Jett, this goes a lot better for you if you help," the Captain said, not quite playing good cop but at least decent cop.
