[Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams) - Computer Core, Deck 21]=A= "Commander Eastman to security. Please apprehend Lieutenant Junior Grade Robyn Banks, at the Command Center, and bring her to my office," =A= she instructed. [Command Center] =/\=Aye, Crewman Sosa en route.=/\= Rio had been wandering the station, on the lookout for the man-eating plant when the call had come in, and frankly, she was glad for something a little more specific to do. As she made her way to the command center, she pulled up the info on the subject, quickly going over the available record, and studying her picture...it wouldn't do to arrest the wrong person! Once at the Command Center, she spotted the young woman and crossed over to her. "Lieutenant Junior Grade Banks? I've been asked to take you to the Commander's office." She didn't know why the young woman was in trouble, and she hoped there wasn't going to be any trouble. [Command Center - Lt. jg. Robyn Banks] Robyn Banks was trying frantically to fix her errors. She knew she shouldn't have deleted the logs. That was stupid. And now she'd lost her transporter lock on Harvey. When the orange-collared officer addressed her, Robyn stiffened before turning to look, cringing. They might wear the same color uniform, but this woman was obviously security, and Robyn knew she was in major trouble. Her eyes slid over to look at Commander Parsinp, assuming that was the commander the officer meant, but Parsinp was staring at her with arms folded and eyes narrowed. Not I, the commander said in answer to the look. I've never had problems with pranks, but you've taken it too far, and it's out of my hands. You'll be dealing with the new crew. Probably the new first officer.Robyn gulped and ducked her head, slowly rising to stand next to Sosa. She kept her eyes on the deck as she was led away, ignoring the mixed expressions of sympathy and superiority. She paused before they left the command center. Commander, I don't know exactly where Harvey ended up. I lost the transporter signal, but I think he ended up around other plants.

ens. Mable Forthright "Well it certainlty is cute. And adorable. But from what I can see, it has a tail, and claws, and legs, and probably a spine..." She pulled out her tricorder and started scanning it. "It is in shock from the phaser stun. Computer extrapolate a treatment based on the scans taken for this creature." she asked, "and I think it's a female. Hard to tell with its triplicate set of chromosomes." "So, uh, what do you think?" she inquired of Isaiah concerning the lab. It was in disarray, and defiantly had a touch of Mable about it. Bob, the BLORP bubbled in its vat. The computer responded. "Genetically, this creature is more related to the Felid line of animals found on Earth. A dose of 5 mL of Phenatax is recommended." [Ens. Isaiah Quinn - Xenobiology Lab, Front Ear Station] Ensign Quinn continued to scan the green goo. He had to admit the readings hadn't been what he had been expecting. It was certainly organic, but it didn't really appear to be a single entity but... many. Though, they appeared to be bound by some rather unique cohesive properties. He lowered the tricorder and continued to stare at the goo... or Bob rather. He still had no intention of closing the distance between himself and the vat. His attention was captured by Mabel as she began to note the rather obvious physical description of the creature they had brought into the lab. She reported that the creature was in shock and asked the computer to extrapolate appropriate treatments. That had been a concern he had before Lt. Aune had ordered him to stun the creature. He finally learned something significant that being the sex of the creature and the note that it had a triplicate set of chromosomes. "Triplicate?" he repeated. "Is it possible that this is a non-binary species?" There were certainly species that weren't restricted to only two sexes. He listened as the computer prescribed a treatment. He didn't want to impede Mabel's treatment of the creature, but he did still have his orders from Lt. Aune. "Now that you have the species' genetic make-up is in the computer, will we be able to conduct a scan from here to determine if there are anymore aboard the station?" Lt. Aune had wanted to know if this was an isolated incident, or if there was some sort of infestation. |Xenobiology Lab | Mable Forthright |

She punched in her credentials, hoping the system was set up to accept her. Thankfully, the doors swooshed open after a moment. It may depend on how thorough the culprit was. It is possible that since this is happening today, that the server backups haven't been deleted yet. They're harder to get to without coming down here.Saya strode to one of the computer terminals and logged in, pulling up the transporter logs. Just confirming the report that the records are gone, she muttered. I don’t think I trust any information coming from the incumbents on the station. She tossed Judy a wry look. Let’s check the transporter rooms first, she said, finding the records even as she spoke. They showed no recent activity or even anyone entering in the last couple of hours. It looks like the transport commands must have come from somewhere else, likely the command center; but that will make them more difficult to track down. It’s manned all day, with the potential for multiple people to be using the same terminals within a single shift.
Let’s find the server backups for the command center and work from there, Saya suggested. [Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams) - Computer Core, Deck 21]Judy pulled up a stool, schlepping it over to the console so she could sit and not strain herself. Then, from her handbag, she retrieved her dedicated "computer" glasses (only one lens segment per eye, for arm's length viewing), as Saya worked. "We can be a little quicker than that," she suggested to Saya. "We can filter down to those with the clearance to tamper with the logs, and then send someone to apprehend them."Judy retrieved a PADD, and held it awkwardly at arm's length as she operated and read it. "Of the folks assigned to Ops on this shift, who had clearance, the only intersection point is Junior Lieutenant Robyn Banks?" she read, almost questioning the name. She then upped the font on the PADD, and confirmed. =A= "Computer, locate Lieutenant Robyn Banks," =A= she ordered. =A= "Robyn Banks is in the Command Center." =A= Judy tsk-tsked, and then made her next move. =A= "Commander Eastman to security. If she's not kicked out of Starfleet for her her antics, I'll certainly be throttling back her computer permissions. In fact, this makes me wonder if we should check everyone's access, she said darkly. If you want to head up to your office, I'll finish up here. See if I can restore the logs, then help track down the plant. She rolled her eyes in exasperation. These were not issues she wanted to have to deal with immediately after arriving at their new home. "I'm sorry for the... disdainful state of my office, but it'll have to do," she offered by way of greeting. "Commander Judy Eastman, First Officer."She extended a hand to the unfamiliar security crewman. "Good to meet you."And then to the perp. "And you as well. Ms. Banks, I take it?"To Sven, the familiar one, she offered a, "good to see you, young man."Then, she led them all into her office, sitting down on a shipping crate labeled "ergonomic supports". "The first order of business is where the plant is," she informed the group, oblivious to their earlier comments. "We need to get it somewhere secure, and promptly."She then turned to look squarely at Ms. Banks, her bifocals softening the effect of her glare. "Next, young lady, you should think about what you've done. Consider the consequences of it. Your actions have pet owners worrying for their cats and dogs, mothers - including myself - and fathers, for their children, not to mention people worrying for their own welfare. What's more, someone could get seriously injured. Think about that, young lady. As cliché as it may sound, think of the children on this station," she lectured, leaning into the emotional aspect of it. After easing off for a moment, she just gave the perpetrator a little look, as if to say "so?"

Though, when the computer revealed that they were all located in one space, it didn't sound like an infestation. When Mabel made the suggestion that it may have had kittens, Quinn nodded. "If that's the case, then it's unlikely that we have an infestation," Quinn conlcluded. "Seems like it may have come aboard on a freighter and found a location where it felt safe to deliver."He took a deep breath, and then proceeded towards an open terminal to begin typing up a report. "Before we head out, is there anyone else on the station responsible for researching exotic animals? Any known owners or collectors?" He was only curious because it was always possible that it could reveal the origin of how the creature had come onto the station in the first place. "As far as rounding up the kittens, may I make a suggestion?" Quinn asked. "Perhaps we should set up a pen or cage to contain them, and use the transporters to bring them in if that's possible." Isaiah took a deep breath before finishing his thought. "After all, we don't know very much about this species. Your thoughts?"

[Tubolift – Deck 3] The man has some sympathy for the Captain. He could even imagine the day she was having. The Station was hardly up to Starfleet Standards and the behavior was not as professional. If this was during the war, Tom would have had half the idea to do a Drill, just to start building discipline with the crew. He was delighted that Felicity would give him public record access. He was soo close to achive his goal. Icarus. The Ship that his wife went missing. It was stop was this Station and he hoped that there was a clue there. [ Felicity Ellis - Turbolift -> Deck 3] She didn't need any extra-sensory gifts to sense the man's hesitation. Felicity couldn't really blame him. Her mother elicited all kinds of reactions from people, and most didn't have the kind of shared history that she and Jett had, nor the service. When he capitulated, she loosed the breath she'd been holding. At the observation that she was having a rather rough start, she glanced sideways at him. It wasn't even noon yet, and the list of problems already seemed endless. There was a small, half-smile on her lips when she responded. "I've actually had worse first days." The Kildara sprang to mind immediately. She didn't think any new assignment would quite beat providing counseling to a science vessel that had been ravaged by the Taranko parasite. One thing hadn't changed between that first posting and this last one, however, and that was her inability to say no to an offer of decent whiskey. The turbolift made the very short journey two decks down, and the doors opened to reveal the plush lounges and suites that were used to host important meetings of senior staff, and talks with delegates. Much like the very few other areas of the station she'd seen so far, this one was also covered in a coating of dust; motes twirling through the air and drawing her attention when they caught the dim light. There was a faint smell of something - damp, perhaps? Whatever it was, that smell had no business in space. Another problem to add to the list. The woman hadn't even seen her own quarters yet. She began walking toward the nearest room, nodding toward it by raising her chin, and stepped through the doors. When the room didn't illuminate immediately, she narrowed her eyes and barked, "Lights." They blinked, once, twice, then maintained a steady thrum. "Remind me to speak with the Chief about overhauls..." She muttered, mostly to herself, as she moved toward the head of the table and the integrated console there. With a few taps and strokes of her fingers, she'd entered her credentials and gained the access he'd requested. Then she stood back and folded her arms. "Have at it, Sherlock. And before you ask, I'm not leaving you alone with my codes."Felicity arched a brow, waiting for an argument. It was then that the marginally helpful ensign contacted her. She chewed the inside of her cheek for just a moment, and then responded, plan in mind. =/\= Yes, thank you, Ensign. Forward everything you have to Master Chief Ozu Saya's PADD. She'll be in touch momentarily. Ellis out." =/\= =/\= "Ellis to Ozu. Chief, I'm really very sorry for interrupting your settling-in time, but there's an issue with a transporting plant. I know, it sounds bizarre." Everything here has been bizarre, she added to herself, before she continued updating their Chief of Engineering. "Ops tells me the transporter logs have been deleted, but I was hoping you might be able to restore them, most importantly, and then pinpoint a culprit." =/\= He was not surprised that the Station’s lights were not working correctly. Jett nodded at her comment to remind her as this Station was hardly to Starfleet standards. “They really relaxed the Starfleet Standard since I left.” . The man teased. There was nothing that they could do at the moment and cold only imagine Admiral Ellis seeing what he has saw. Jett accessed the console and began the records search on the database. “Thank you Captain…once I get this information, I will leave here faster than you can say: How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?” Getting the information and leaving was a priority if the Admiral would have seen him talking to her daughter she might toss him to the brig or worse airlock him. As he continued pressing the control he began checking video archives and he made the off the cuff comment. “Y’know if I am Sherlock…that makes you Dr. Holmes”. Jett commented with a smile. As he tried and tease her for a second. She had the issue with the plan in which Tom could overhear. It what he thought someone was transporting the plan and deleting it. Which means someone who had access. Regardless, trying to interference in the plant situation would make things more complicated as plenty of people were working on that. As Jett pressed the computer he did not try to hide from Felicity was he was accessing. “All right…Icarus dates of docking….easy peasy.” . As Tom hit the Icarus file he was not surprised that most of them were marked CONFIDENTIAL. Instead of going to those files he accessed the video logs. He turned on all the visual logs of the promenade and public places during the Icarus resupply stop that lasted 6 hours. He then looked at it and he knew it was a Science vessel. Jett “Y’know one of the greatest mysteries in recent times is: Where is the Icarus? Y’know the Starfleet Science vessel that disappeared near this area. I imagine that the person that finds it would become rich enough to retire and probably another medal.. The man lied about his motive. He was not going to tell her that he was searching for his missing wife, whom he presumed to be dead. As much as he wanted to forget her he could not. Tom asked his Academy Friend Captain Cyrus Clark to help him get him access to the files and that’s when all hell broke loose. As he looked at the Video he observed the Captain of the Icarus and his Wife, Anna talking to a man. “Computer, Stop”. Jett Ordered. “Computer, take the Civilian individual and run a facial recognition” . Tom responded The computer began doing an Analysis. “What the hell? Tom looked surprised. “Felicity you might want to look at this. . Tom walked away for a second. He then continued the video and it showed the man following the Captain and Chief Science Officer, his wife onto the Icarus. Tom then explained “The Icarus is a Nova Class Vessel. The News reported that all 78 people went missing. I know the name of every single person on that ship. I take my treasure hunting seriously… when they left the Station they had now 79, people on board. Which means…this person was not on the Official Records. Starfleet lied to us, but why?”. Jett felt he stumbled into something major. He knew that Felicity would probably confirm his findings but he knew all 78 people on board. He studied them looking for clues. He would let the Captain check to see if there were any visuals. [ Felicity Ellis - Briefing Room, Deck 3] Felicity felt some relief when their Chief Engineer responded immediately, and moved to action. Having her own people involved in this weird little mystery gave her some measure of comfort; after all, the Front Ear's present crew hadn't exactly filled her with confidence. Speaking of confidence, Thomas Jett seemed full of it when he referred to her as the Watson to his Holmes. "With infinitely less patience," she snorted, knowing full well the pair of them would likely always struggle with power dynamics. She watched, closely enough, while he began his investigations, listening as he explained the mystery of the Icarus. She did not for one second believe that his interest in the missing vessel was financial; a science ship of that size wouldn't have been carrying anything of value. That the former officer was looking for another medal, or possibly a way back into the Fleet was more likely, but even then Felicity had her doubts. As the Computer worked, Felicity backed off to return her First Officer's communication. =/\= "First good news of the day." Probably the last, considering how fantastically well things seemed to be going. "Thank you, Commander. Ellis out." =/\= The issue would hopefully be dealt with without any further need of input from her, and she could catch up with her senior officers later to discuss some much needed staff restructuring. Jett caught her attention again, drawing her gaze to a rather eye-catching image of a rather eye-catching man. She stepped back toward the table, standing next to Jett as she peered at the roguish-looking man. Her head tilted to the side a little. "Computer, run image against Federation database, cross-reference Fleet and criminal records, historical and current."The Computer pinged in response, and began the mammoth task that would likely only take a matter of seconds. "They'd lie if the truth was worth something to an enemy," she mused aloud about the organisation she'd served so completely for the last decade. "Or maybe they didn't know." Her eye caught the corner of an image, hovering in the background, previously ignored while Tall, Dark and Handsome had taken center stage. "Who is he talking to here?" With a few swipes of her hand, she centered the capture of the man speaking to the ship's Captain, and a dark-haired woman. "Computer, identify."Captain Magnus Benchmark, Lieutenant Commander Anna Jett. The room descended into dead silence for a moment, and then Felicity turned to pierce Thomas Jett with a stare. "Treasure hunting, huh?"*** [ Costa - Turbolift -> Deck 14] "Singles? For enlisteds? Nah, mate, not unless ya made Chief since we last... met?" Costa's cheeky grin was back as she followed him out of the 'lift and towards his quarters. When Brody located his room and pulled his luggage inside, she hung back in the doorway, leaning against the frame as she studied the space. It was small enough, even by station standards, but having grown up on freighters with zero personal space, Costa saw no issue with it. "Or talk in they sleep, or sing in the shower, or chew wit they mouth open..." She tacked on when he repeated the earlier hope of having a roommate who didn't snore. Her eyes followed Brody's movements toward the small eating area, and then shook her head at his offer. Synthehol wasn't something she ever had an interest in; she didn't see the point in drinking without the effects. "Prefer the real thing," she told him, then she straightened up into a stance. "Need ta go see a client anyway." She started backing out of the room, but before she left his eye-line, she paused to pat her chest, where his communications chit had been safely stored, grinned, and declared, "Got ya number."Brody's apartment - NPC Brody Cooper Costa painted a bad picture of what living with another person could be like. "You can't scare me. I used to share a place with nine others once." He studied the replicator just to learn that Costa didn't want replicated drinks. "You could have a late..." He suggested because booze clearly wasn't the only drink they could have, although that seemed to be Costas idea. Unfortunately she was about to leave already. So he quickly followed her to the door. "Already on the move again....leaving me behind to fend for myself...what if that crazy plants shows up?" [ Costa - Brody's Shared Quarters, Deck 14] At the mention of a latté, Costa's nose scrunched up again. Bit of whiskey in there now and she probably would have been tempted, but she really did have some business to take care of. And if she wanted to set things up a little more permanently on Front Ear, then she probably should try a little harder than she had on Sierra. She could at least try not to punch mouthy, jumped up junior officers, or insult the XO, or get kicked off the facility all together... Cooper followed her to the door, making an interesting point about his safety. "If the crazy ting reappears, distract it wit ya rocks." She shrugged and stepped outside. "Worked on me." Then she winked and moved off, knowing full well she'd just called herself a 'crazy ting'.

[Rylonis Trellgin, USS Dauntless, Docking Bay] Rylonis watched the Admiral as she spoke to her of how she was considering having to close down Front Ear, this put a look of near horror across her face. She would hate to lose her new assignment right after getting it, after waiting the last three years for this opportunity. " Of course! I would do anything to keep this station running, I've been waiting for three years to get an assignment like this, I'm not about to let it be spoiled because of a lack of proper direction. If you need help, please consider me as an invaluable asset Admiral!" she says, her voice stressing her fear of losing the new assignment. Her mind was really trying to wrap around what the Admiral had just told her. " If I may ask though, in what ways has the station been allowed to flounder exactly? Is something happening on the station that I've not been briefed on?" she asked in a concerned tone. [ Admiral Antoinette Ellis - USS Dauntless, Docking Bay] "I shall, thank you, Ensign," Antoinette responded when Trellgin said to consider her an asset, inclining her head slightly. Inwardly, she realised that she almost had her, and that they would soon pass the point of outright refusal. Thus, she would push harder. "There are a great many things happening on this station that I don't even know about." Again, her tone was conspiratorial, her expression almost disbelieving. "I'll be truthful with you, Ensign, the people out here have become complacent. And although we are in peace time once again, Front Ear is also situated on the edge of an area of space we have yet to explore. We do not want to leave any future potential First Contact scenarios in the hands of such... incompetence. We just cannot risk another Dominion War. You don't get a second chance to make a good first impression." She eyed Trellgin then, injecting her point with some weight. "I am glad I'll be able to count on your reports. And your discretion, of course."[Rylonis Trellgin, USS Dauntless, Docking Bay] Rylonis listened to her words, she hid a slight frown as the woman discussed trying to avoid incidents like the Dominion War with first contact when meeting new species. She wasn't sure how anything could end up that bad again, but she also remembered their history with the Romulans and Klingons, both war driven races, yet they managed to stave off any ill givings with them. She had always felt as though the races of the Dominion wanted war regardless of first contact, they always seemed very confrontational and ready and eager to kill someone for fresh blood. She smiled warmly and nodded. " I look forward to assisting you in any way I can, I of course do not wish for a repeat of the Dominion War either ma'am," she says with a small nod, waiting for the docking bay doors to open and reveal her new station. She then looked down as she heard a meow and her cat Uru put a paw through the grate door of his crate, he was apparently getting antsy as well. She smiled and bent down, rubbing the paw gently until the cat pulled it back in. " It's okay Uru, I'll get you out of there soon," she cooed softly.

[ Shared Quarters, Deck 14 -NPC Brody Cooper] Her cheeky remark about being distracted by the rocks put a smile on his face. The memory was one of the wildest he had. "If I recall that correctly you were distracting me with certain actions....Maybe you could come and help me when that plants reappears."It was pretty obvious that he wouldn't mind repeating the distracting manouver, with or without plants and rocks. Costa had surely twisted him around her little finger as soon as he laid eyes on her again. There was something mysterious and wild about her that he found incredibly attractive. "I'll see you." He said, hoping it would be soon.

"Anyone one else on the station?" he turned on her heel and her face screwed up into an ugly frown. "Already? We've been working together for, like what? 5 minutes and you already want to ditch me! I should have known."She turned her back on him. "Nobody wants to work with. No one wants to be my friend. All I have are these animals. They are they only ones that really care about me." She looked up trying to hold back a tear. "If you don't want to work with me, just tell me. Don't lead me on."

I lost the transporter signal, but I think he ended up around other plants.|Xenobiology Lab | Mable Forthright |
Mable murred for a moment. "Oh yes, we have a really good computer. I think that it will be able to scan for this life form now. Computer, are there more creatures like this upon this station?"There was a brief pause. "Affirmative." It responded. "Oh!" she said with glee. Bob the BLORP bubbled in his/her/its vat. "How many and where?""There are currently 12 of these lifeforms upon the station. Located near Jeffery's tube 57A. Junction 211 B""Oh, how sweet! I bet it had kittens!" she purred! "Well, I think we should round them up!"|Sven's quarters | Sven Aune |A few minutes passed and a crewman appeared. "Sir." she asked. "Yes, there is a stain on the floor here in the living room. The replicator is fried and there is some sort of stain thing on the wall."She looked at him passively. "Did you hear me?""Yes."Sven looked at her. "Sir, I don't think these things really warrant a fixing right now.""Excuse me?""Well, it's just a couple of stains, and you can go down to the replimat for food."Sven raised a brow. "How about this. If you don't fix these things, as it is your job, I will find the most mundane tedious task possible and assign you to it until you tour of duty is over. Now hop to it." he said in a dangerous voice. In that moment he received a general call for security. =/\= "This is Lieutenant Aune. On my way." =/\= he sighed and looked at the enlisted engineer. "Fix these things."* * * |Command Center | Sven Aune|Sven stepped onto the command center and saw another security officer on the scene. He nodded and stood next to her. She had this under control, but he was there for backup. "This is Baker?" he asked the young security officer. "Lets take her to the Commander's office." he said leading them [Command Center] "Harvey?" Rio asked the young woman as she moved beside her. "Is that the killer plant? You lost it?" Man, this was pretty crazy, that there was a dangerous species on the station, and now that it was running free? What sort of place was this? Then another Security person arrived, a Lieutenant, and she gave the man a nod. "Sir, this is her, and apparently that plant that is trying to eat people is 'lost'. Do you think we should put out an alert?" She wasn't sure what sort of alert that would be, and really, people would figure out pretty quickly if their fern was evil! |Command Center | Sven Aune|Sven stepped onto the command center and saw another security officer on the scene. [Command Center --> XO's Office - Lt. jg. Robyn Banks] Robyn glared sulkily at her Sosa and Aune, thinking that her prank hardly warranted an escort of two security officer, but here they were, and taking her off to meet some unknown official. Probably some stick-in-the-mud prig. It's Banks, she muttered at the mountainous security officer as they walked her out of the command center and down a short corridor to the XO's office, which contained a number of labeled crates stacked against the walls. He's not a killer plant, exactly. I mean, it's carnivorous, but most people know to steer clear. I didn't know that there were going to be new people around yet. I got flustered and missed with my transporter coordinates to get him back to Commander Parsinp's quarters and I think he ended up somewhere like hydroponics or the park where there are lots of plants to confuse the scanners.Robyn figured the more cooperative she was the better off she'd be from here on. [Computer Core, Deck 21 - MCPO Ozu Saya] Saya chuckled. That was quicker than I expected. And that is far too much computer access for a junior lieutenant. Judith Eastman [Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams) - Computer Core, Deck 21 -> Turbolift]Judy sighed gently. "I think we should curtail log deletion access to Department Heads and above only, but that's an issue for tomorrow. For now, good luck with this."She switched glasses once again, then waved Saya goodbye and headed out. Upon entering the turbolift, she decided to check in with her superior. =A= "Eastman to Captain Ellis. I have our perpetrator nailed down, and I'm about to question her. I'll check in with you once that's done," =A= she reported succinctly, not having the time for more verbosity. [Command Center --> XO's Office - Lt. jg. [Cmdr. Judith Eastman(-Williams) - First Officer's Office, Deck 2]Judy exited the turbolift, striding rapidly down the passageway to the two security personnel holding one other officer, presumably their perp.
|First officer's Office - Deck 2 | Sven Aune|Sven had known Judy for about 2 years at this point. She was a master at wielding guilt. He had come to accept that it was her New-York and Jewish heritage and she could brandish it well. And everything she did say to the young officer was true. A prank like that could have had serious consequences. "Hello ma'am. I've been meaning to get up here since I arrived anyway. This gave me the perfect excuse." he said leaving it at that. This conversation was between Judy and the Banks. How in the world have things slipped so much on this station? He hopped that the change in command would straighten things out. [Ens. Isaiah Quinn - Xenobiology Lab, Front Ear Station] Ensign Quinn quickly found himself on the defensive as Ensign Forthright rounded on him. She made several comments about him not wanting work with her, along with anyone else for that matter. If she was this emotional, he could certainly see the appeal. Although, she had taken his question completely out of context. He held up his hands to try to calm her down so that he could get a word in. "Ensign Forthright," he began, hoping that referring to her professionally would assist in calming her down. "I never said anything about not working with you. I was just trying to ascertain whether someone else would have been responsible for bringing the animal aboard the station." A long sigh left his lips as he shook his head. "Now, can or can we not, prepare lodgings for the rest of the animals and attempt to transport them?" He waited a moment before he added, "Or, do I need to find someone else to assist me?"Tag: Sven Aune

Rest assured, your help will not go unnoticed or unrewarded by the Admiralty." Antoinette nodded toward the young Trill again, always moving as though she was royalty, or believed she should be. She glanced down at the creature in the crate, her eyes narrowing a little. She'd never seen the need to keep pets. Children were difficult enough. Though she supposed animals were less disappointing than humans in general. Perhaps that was one of the many reasons why her youngest son had loved them so much. "What a cute creature," she offered, though the Admiral was pleased that she was saved any further small-talk about the cat when the doors opened. With another nod to the young woman, she stepped outside, expecting fanfare and pomp, and getting... nothing. =/\= "Admiral Ellis to Captain Ellis. Would you care to explain to me why I am standing on your station, alone, unwelcomed and decidedly insulted, Captain?" =/\=

[Briefing Room – Deck 3] Jett chuckled at her comment that she had less patience than Dr. Watson. Tom knew that himself and Captain Ellis would make a rocky team, to say the least. He considered her to be competent but hard-headed as well. They would probably end up killing each other before they would finish their fist case. He was relieved that Felicity got some good news. It seems like the first day for her was a trainwreck. But it appeared that things might be looking up. Tom felt it was not his place to comment much about the crew. In his mind, he was soo close to getting an answer or a clue to help him in his quest. He knew that the ship and all onboard is probably lost. As the Computer identified the individuals, Jett looked down. Felicity might not know the crew but he did. He had studied Captain Benchmark and his style. The man was a scientist and he was careful in his approach. He also knew Anna, that moved with evidence. Unlike himself, that he trusted in his instincts, Anna follows the scientific process. Jett wondered why did they seek the man. They must have their reason. Someone like him would follow his instincts but not them. As Felicity commented about his statement about Treasure hunting, Jett could not help but look at her. She caught him in his lie that he was there for Treasure hunting. It would take a matter of second for her to piece that she was his wife. Tom knew that it would not be hard for her to mark his motivation. “I didn't say what treasure.”. Jett replied. He did not lie to her. Her body or finding out what happened would mean the world a lot for himself and their loved one. The people they left behind. Every Starfleet officer knows that risk is part of the game. He avoided at first eye contact and then placed his hand under his chin. It was easy to observe that he was deep in thought about her statement. Looking at the screen Tom, then responded “I don’t know if they are lying or not. In fact, we don’t have enough information. But the fact that they classified all the files of the Icarus and we have a mystery man. I don’t know why but my instincts tell me they are all connected but I don’t know how” Jett then looked at Felicity and wanted to add. “Before, you wonder the Icarus files are classified above Starfleet Command Codes. I already tried. . Tom added with sincerity. Tom then approached the monitor and touched the man. “One thing is for certain…79. Was here, means someone the area might know how he is. 79…I guess that what we will call him until we have a better idea who he is” . He then turned and look at Felicity “It seems like you got your dream princess, a gorgeous guy like me is saying around the area” . Jett commented when he heard a message. Admiral Antoinette Ellis - USS Dauntless, Docking Bay] =/\= "Admiral Ellis to Captain Ellis. Would you care to explain to me why I am standing on your station, alone, unwelcomed and decidedly insulted, Captain?" =/\= As Jett heard the Admiral, he remembered that he got soo caught up on the Icarus that he forgot about Admiral Ellis. It appeared that since he was sentenced to Prison she has not changed one bit. Tom looked at Felicity and said “hmmm I wonder if the Admiral knows more about the Icarus then us. You can always arrest me and bring me to her…I’m sure the Admiral might appreciate that.. Jett offered in the back of his mind he was already working a possible plan. Tag Felicity Ellis
