[Lt. Isaiah Quinn - Into the Woods, LZ-2, Kerelia] The sign of the the vines and assumedly the lack of information from the tricorder had placed Ensign Volante on alert. Her tricorder had been replaced with her phaser. Isaiah had to admit, the sight of the vine so intricately tied was certainly a cause for intrigue, if not alarm. As Silvertail asked if it could have been left by one of their people, Isaiah began to shake his head. Charlie went on to verbally express that it was doubtful. "And then there are the question of why and who?" the science officer stated. His eyes returned to his tricorder as he tried to make more out of what he was getting from the device. Though, with each passing moment, he grew more and more concerned. The suggestion then came from Ms. Fox to use Olsen to further investigate. Isaiah took a deep breath. His gut wanted to contact Commodore Perry to report in. Of course, it couldn't hurt to have more information on hand when he did actually call in. He continued to tinker with the tricorder as Charlie sent Olsen in for a closer look, practically acting as a scout. It was the sound of the actual collision that tore Isaiah's eyes from the tricorder and in the direction of the now downed Olsen... that Charlie was approaching at break-neck speed. Dammit!"Ms. Fox! Stop!" Isaiah called after her, but he had his suspicions that it was a futile effort. He moved after her, certain that he could catch up to her... possibly tackle her, but would that really get her to stop? Still, her moving away and isolating herself... literally running right into possible danger was the last thing any of them needed. His free hand quickly drew his own phaser, scanning the area that the rock had come from. If he had doubts before, they were gone now. Someone... or something else was on this planet. A vined trap... a projectile attack... it all seemed to scream some semblance of intelligent life. Isaiah's hand reached out for her arm. "Just stop! Please!"He wasn't insensitive to her attachment to Olsen, but it would do little good if another rock was hurled from somewhere and smashed into her head as it had done to Olsen. [SilverTail to-Ennien - Team Fauna] SilverTail growled at the back of his throat as Charlie took off after her fallen device and the scientist followed after her. He couldn't tell exactly where the projectile had come from, except that they were traveling in the general direction. His claws dug into the dirt as he dropped to all fours to sprint after the two humans. It only took him a couple of strides to make a calculated leap to land on the woman's back and push her to the ground. He was careful to keep his claws retracted, and spread his feet so that when she hit the ground, he wasn't actually landing on her. stay down, he hissed sharply. We must report the encounter and move carefully to safety. I am sorry for the loss of your camera. Perhaps we can return for it when it's safer. Or maybe your transporters can retrieve the device. SilverTail's gravelly voice was low as he lifted his head to listen and smell the air. [Charlie Fox - Into the Woods]Charlie was vaguely aware of Quinn calling her name... but her focus was all for her damaged holorecorder. It was in her sights, she was close, she was stepping over various mechanical components of the downed drone, almost to it when she felt the brush of fingers against her arm. Followed by a totally unexpected weight on her back, the force of which sent her hurtling toward the ground. She hadn't had any warning and so she crashed to the brush beneath them, unable to protect herself or even attempt to cushion her fall. Sharp twigs and jagged stones scraped her face as the breath whooshed out of her on impact. The roar she let out of her was comprised of shock, pain and anger. "GET. OFF."She wasn't there to obey anyone's orders. She didn't care for anyone's advice. She was never going to leave Olsen behind. Charlie lashed out and pulled herself forward. The drone was so close. "Screw you," she said to the Sivaoan rudely, through clenched jaw as she reached out to grab one of Olsen's components. Her constant companion. The only thing in her life that actually did what she wanted it to do. The thing she'd saved from the scrapheap on the horrific Torros III, the one of a kind inanimate object that she'd given a human name to, that she often accidentally, and without meaning to, referred to as 'he'. She would not leave without it. [Ens. Phoebe Volante - Into the woods - Team Fauna] Phoebe shook her head as Charlie raced forwards, followed by the others, "Sure, ignore the security officer. It's not like she's had years of training or anything." She muttered as she took off after them, keeping an eye on the shrubbery in case of another attack. When she reached the group she dropped down to one knee and gestured to Isaiah to get down too. She pointed her phaser in the general direction of the source of the stone. Her knee came down and rested on Charlie's reaching wrist to stop it. Phoebe grabbed the womans ear and pinched it, "If you ignore me again you'll be going back to camp on someones shoulders. Now shut up or we'll all end up like Olsen." She released the ear and went back looking for movement in the leaves. She tapped her commbadge, =/\= "Chief, I don't think we're alone out here. We've found what seems to be a vine trap, and when we sent the holorecorder to scout something threw a stone at it. Our tricorders can't see it, I suggest all teams proceed with extreme caution. Volante out." =/\= Phoebe leaned over slightly towards Silvertail, "What about you? Your senses are better than ours, can you detect anything?" Her eyes never leaving the brush, ready to fire the instant something moved. Charlie Fox Isaiah Quinn Ozu Saya (Silvertail and Ozu on comm)

[ PO2 Kaya Som | Team Flora ]"Not sure we should assume it's an 'animal'," Kaya muttered. There are more things strange and wonderous among the stars than hairless bipedals could imagine. Assuming sentient life seemed to be the better bet in Kaya's uninformed opinion. The space between explorers and invaders was ever-changing but marginally well stewarded by the Prime Directive. That was the purview of brass and command, likely, but she was out here in this jungle same as any of them. When they came upon one of them tangled in vines that looked suspiciously net-like, Kaya clicked her tongue and moaned a little in sympathy. Shit, she winced, and tried to visually trace the vine work to see if there was a common support. It was about then their badges lit up with a message. "Are we serious?" Kaya said out loud. "Well, alright, here." She set down the heavy pack again and quickly went to the sharply slanted trunch of a nearby tree. "It's attached there. If we can cut it there, that should let it loose." [ Chief Ozu Saya - Team Geology] Saya whirled to Perry and said, concern clear in her voice, Perhaps we should recall the teams. We have seen no indication up to this point of other people on Kerelia. The fact that it appears someone has done so with our station in orbit...they must have some sort of camouflage or cloaking technology. Perhaps we should call for the runabout.
Ensign, if we must vacate the area, will your equipment continue to collect and transmit its data? [NPC - Commodore Calvin Perry - Team Geology, Jungle, Kerelia]This was very bad indeed. As an environmentalist, Calvin did not like the thought of needless motor vehicles - however clean - running through this area. Their people - in addition to not having other operations in this area - had careful environmental practices to follow in these virgin lands, which other groups (if this was what it was) did not have. Moreover, their position could be compromised, putting them at real risk. =A= "Perry to all away teams. Had back to the camp as soon as you can. We might not be alone here," =A= he ordered over the Comm. He didn't like cutting them short like this, but Chief Ozu was right. This could be trouble.
Tag everyone. [ T’Laara - Woods with Botany Team] While T’Laara understood Kaya’s desire for caution, she found it difficult to resist a mystery. Carefully and trying not to startle the alien creature, she picked her way through the woods to keep up with it. She couldn’t tell exactly how intelligent it was, but if Left Ear and Leanna were right then she wanted to see what it would show them. They could potentially learn a lot more if it led them toward its home or more of its kind. As it turned out, it did lead them to another of its kind, but one that was in a dire situation. “Fascinating. It must be trying to ask for our help.” Implications of that aside, there was now the question of how to free the second creature. There was little T’Laara could do without going back to the camp for equipment. She looked at Left Ear, thinking that out of everyone in their group the Sivaoan was the most likely to be able to help. “Are you able to climb up there?”
The creature was clearly injured, and running out of time. And so, apparently, were they, as the order to return to camp came over the comms. She raised her tricorder to scan for life signs again, but it wasn’t registering anything new. Tag Ozu Saya Kaya Som Leanna Mazal [Team Green - Woods, LZ2 Kerelia] When Left Ear advised caution and mentioned that the creatures may have some kind of telepathy. Leanna knew that the Sivaoan wasn't wrong and whether it was because of her presence or if the dragon like creature had sought her out, there was only one way to know for sure. So as they agreed to investigate and follow the dragon, Leanna kept her focus on the creature and the link that had been established between them. Although was careful not to trip or stumble through the undergrowth. Once they had reached their destination, Leanna looked to the creature as it began to trill it's distress again and the Betazoid began to understand why, especially when she picked up another creature in trouble. Turning away, the Civilian saw the brightly coloured green and yellow creature struggling to free itself from some kind of trap. " It is" Lea answered instantly to T'Laara's observation before she asked Left Ear if she could climb the tree. Saving the creature was definitely something that they needed to do, before the call from Perry ordering them back to camp and why. Lea knew that they couldn't leave yet, regardless of the order and yet they now had a race against time to do both, before trouble found them. " We don't have long before we need to get back to camp and we can't leave it like that".

Ozu Saya (Left Ear), Leanna Mazal , Shavan Th'zhaar (T'Karra) [Team Geology] They had found something more. Some evidence that the teams hadn't been careful enough of. Of course, they'd only gotten the hopper off the planet just before these Fleeters had arrived. Their presence was seriously interfering with the operation. Perhaps it was time to get the intruders away from the forest at least. The unseen observer tapped the communicator on his wrist to get the attention of his people, then tapped out a silent message of vibrations that conveyed a set of instructions. The leader stepped carefully from his hiding place behind some bushes and took aim at the sheer mountain face approximately fifty feet away. With a nearly silent pop, a round projectile exited the weapon and hit the side of the mountain with a much louder crash, electronic energy spreading and loosening some rock and causing it to slide to the base. The leader immediately moved away, skirting the edge of the forest, and shot again, repeating the process three times to make them believe there were more enemies.

[ Left Ear to-Ennien - Team Flora] Left Ear made a sympathetic churr when she saw the poor creature tangled in the vine trap and clearly near death. Yes, I can get up there, she answered. Kaya, let me get up on the main branch, then you cut it and I can lower the whole trap down. Then we'll have to see if we can untangle it.The Sivaoan pushed her satchel behind her, taking out a knife first and putting it between her teeth before approaching the large tree and shimmying up it with her claws. Soon she was straddling the branch just above the trap and leaning over to wrap the vine around her arm. Okay, she called down. Cut it when your ready!

Left Ear was much easier to work with than Longfoot. Kaya stood aside for the nimble Left Ear and waited for the go-ahead. At Left Ear's say so, Kaya used a wiresplicer to cut the fibrous vine. "In three, two, one!"
With Left Ear supporting the being in the trap, the support line just fell slack. It was up to Left Ear now.

[ T’Laara - Woods with Botany Team] T’Laara stepped back out of the way as Kaya and Left Ear enacted their plan to free the creature. Watching Kaya cut the vine, she made an unsettling observation. “I do not think that creature simply became tangled in the vines by accident. It appears to be a trap that was set up deliberately, and not by anyone in our expedition.” They had been operating under the assumption that there were no advanced life forms on Kerelia, nor any other visitors. Given the amount of research that had already gone into surveying the planet it was most likely the latter option. Although it was true that they also hadn't known about the dragon-like beings until now. “Can you sense anyone else here? And will this be enough to help it?” she asked Leanna because of the Betazoid’s telepathic connection with the creatures. “We should move quickly back to camp and report this.”Tag Leanna Mazal Ozu Saya Kaya Som

[Team Dragon - Woods, LZ2, Kerelia] Leanna knew that they had to get back to the camp but at the same time, there was an overwhelming need to help and hope that the others would understand when they did return. Besides the mere existence of these creatures was enough to validate their tardiness and once they got back, she was sure Perry & Saya would want to know everything that they did, in order to find the person or persons responsible for doing this. So as Kaya and Left Ear worked together to free the creature from the trap, Leanna did everything she could to reassure both creatures whilst silently vowing to bring them justice. No creature should suffer like this and it was hurting every fibre of her soul. However as T'Laara came to a similar conclusion about this not being done by accident, before asking if she could sense anyone else here and if doing this would help the creature. The Betazoid knew she would be able to answer some of it as T'Laara also mentioned reporting everything to the others. " I agree we do and this wasn't an accident, I sense relief from the Leader but ......" she paused as she felt the pain coming from the trapped one and something, no they couldn't lose it now and she had to tell them. " Pain, a lot of pain and it's dying, I can feel it's consciousness beginning to fade".

[NPC - PO1 S'Riia - Team Geology, LZ-2, Kerelia] S'Riia could only make out sound of the slightest of movements, still it was nothing that was out of the ordinary. It could have been small creatures simply moving through distant brush. Certainly nothing to get worked up over. In fact, it was a relative calm as far as she could tell. Even as Commodore Perry sent a comm to recall all the teams to the camp. Chief Ozu was already checking with Ensign Kiax to see if the equipment could stand should the need to evacuate arise. And arise it did, rather quickly. A loud pop on the face of the mountain sounded. It was followed in quick succession by others. S'Riia quickly drew her phaser, though the rocks sliding down the side of the mountain was more of a sign to flee rather than stand and fight. She moved closer towards Commodore Perry, more out of habit than actual preference. "Move now! We need to find cover!" The authority of her voice was oblivious to any rank, considering she held the lowest rank among the team gathered. She began to nudge Perry away from the scene, her head like a swivel, scouting the rock face to make certain no debris was falling in their direct path, and also in the opposite direction, as she tried to ascertain the location of the shooter. Her first priority was everyone's safety.

[Lt. Isaiah Quinn - Woods, LZ2, Kerelia] The next few moments were a blurry succession of events. Charlie was just within reach, when it seemed that Silvertail appeared from overhead, effectively tackling Charlie to the ground. The downed pair gave Isaiah barely any time to react. His attempt to leap over the pair failed as he felt his legs collide with the pair, making his leap more of a lateral dive. Having played Parisses squares for so long, he instinctively curled to protect himself, colliding with the ground and rolling with the momentum as he traveled barely a meter beyond the pair of them. An experienced fall or not, it certainly hurt like hell, as it felt as if his shoulder had managed to take the brunt of the fall. He grit his teeth, pushing the pain aside, while silently cursing how he hated this planet. It certainly hadn't improved much beyond the Tritters. He turned to look back to see Silvertail still atop Charile as she futilely reached for Olsen only to have Ensign Volante also kneel onto Charlie's wrist. He could understand how frustrating the situation may be for Volante, who was charged with ensuring the team's safety, but there were limits. He waited for the Ensign's comm to the team had ended before addressing Volante directly. "That's enough, Ensign! Do you job respectfully, or don't do it at all."Isaiah was close enough to use his leg to kick the component closer and towards Charlie's grasp. However, as he moved to lift one of his arm, he found that he couldn't. He recognized that he had dislocated his shoulder, and let out a stifled grunt of pain. There was another component nearby. Using the arm his phaser was in... the one he could still move, Isaiah managed to scoop the component into the nook of his arm and drag it closer to his body. "Withdraw slowly," Isaiah said softly. "We'll grab what we can, but Ms. Fox it's no good to have Olsen and no one to bring him home to." Another grunt left his lips as his eyes scouted their perimeter frantically, meanwhile, scooching back slowly and carefully. "Back," he continued to order the rest of the team.

Charlie Fox Isaiah Quinn Ozu Saya (Silvertail and Ozu on comm) [ PO2 Kaya Som | Team Flora ]Left Ear was much easier to work with than Longfoot. Kaya stood aside for the nimble Left Ear and waited for the go-ahead. At Left Ear's say so, Kaya used a wiresplicer to cut the fibrous vine. "In three, two, one!" With Left Ear supporting the being in the trap, the support line just fell slack. “We should move quickly back to camp and report this.”Tag Leanna Mazal Ozu Saya Kaya Som [Team Dragon - Woods, LZ2, Kerelia] Leanna knew that they had to get back to the camp but at the same time, there was an overwhelming need to help and hope that the others would understand when they did return.

It was how he would have stopped a young Sivaoan from doing the same thing, but he could see that he'd actually injured the human. And the human scientist also appeared to be in distress. =/\= Acknowledged. Report back to camp immediately and use extreme caution, =/\= Saya's voice responded to Phoebe. SilverTail shook his head at Phoebe. There's nothing distinct. Just the same plants and animals we've all been smelling since we arrived. He took another deep breath across his tongue. Whoever it is, maybe they use some type of scent-masker. I don't know what could do it, though. Glancing up at the trap, he added, I don't like to leave that in place, but I don't think it's safe to try to remove it right now. From behind a tree, one of the watchers observed as the group piled into each other, then started moving away. His only objective had been to prevent them from getting any scans of the trap. While they were made to look like vines, they were actually a cleverly disguised synthetic that was quite strong. Now, though, their orders were to force these people away from the forest, by any means. There was a slight whine, a pop of electricity, and SilverTail's head jerked up as suddenly a large branch started crashing down directly over them. Move! he shouted, but waited to make sure the others realized the danger before getting out of the way himself.

[ Left Ear to-Ennien - Team Flora] When Kaya cut the vine, Left Ear supported the trap with one paw, her claws dug into the fiber to keep it from immediately falling. The creature was too weak to struggle anymore as Left Ear used her other three paws to work her way back to the truck and down the tree. She paused to rest the arm holding the trap on a branch, the dragon being heavier than she'd expected. With only two as a sample it was difficult to make a determination, but they seemed to run about the size of a small sheep, and then the wings on top of that. Left Ear called down, I'm going to drop my bag. There's a useful inside. Spread it out so that we can bundle it up to carry back to camp. I'll try to do some triage as soon as we're down, but we need to get out of here. The Sivaoan did as she said, carefully working the strap down her body, shifting each leg from the tree for a moment to let the satchel fall the last twenty feet, then she resumed her descent, holding the poor creature out away from the tree trunk so it wouldn't get bashed about. She'd just gotten to the ground and set the trapped creature down when she suddenly went flying sideways. With a snarl, Left Ear bared her teeth and set her claws into whatever was attacking her, her fur puffing out and tail seeking to try to grab her attacker and pull them off. Her back legs kicked, but the Sivaoan could find no purchase to ravage with her strong kicks. Yellow fluid dripped onto her fur. This watcher was already regretting his decision. The com had said, 'by any means', but choosing to attack the member of this group that had natural weapons was stupid. If he could just get them to leave the creature...they wouldn't get as much as they did for a live dragon, but they'd found a market for those few that got tangled like this and didn't survive.Tag Leanna Mazal, Kaya Som, Shavan Th'zhaar (T'Laara)

We can try to access the runabout's sensors from there and figure this out," he said, a directive both deliberate and vague.

The largest part of his battered, spherical self was just barely in reach, why was she not allowed reach out to touch it? "I hate my job," she muttered, ignoring the hostile Sec/Tac officer's order to shut up. In all honesty, if she did not have the capability to record, there was absolutely no point in her being there. Then the weight left her wrist and SilverTail removed himself from her space, and suddenly she was allowed to move, and Quinn was helping her. Her hand grabbed the component he'd kicked in her direction and she raised her gaze up toward the scientist. Her body followed as she pushed herself up off the ground, grimacing with the effort and wondering how many shades of black or blue she might be later. As Isaiah picked up another piece of the holorecorder, she followed suit and plucked part of its protective shell from a mound of moss. When the order came to move, she didn't bother asking if she was allowed to run, she just took off with the others, flinging herself out of the huge branch's path.

[Team Geology] They had found something more.

He trusted that the Petty Officer's instincts were correct, and even if they weren't, this was no time to insist on hierarchy. Not dying was much more important. "Let's try to reach the camp quickly. We can try to access the runabout's sensors from there and figure this out," he said, a directive both deliberate and vague.

Soft Ari Kiax [ Chief Ozu Saya - Team Geology] Saya drew her weapon, but couldn't see anything to shoot at, and the chunks of rock coming off the side of the mountain were concerning. In fact, as the team headed back toward their camp, one large stone bounced across the open space to where they'd set up the survey equipment and knocked it askew. Saya shook her head ruefully. So much for those readings. The shooting stopped after a couple of minutes, and the rocks stopped falling except for some smaller pieces that had been shaken loose. As they neared the camp, however, Saya slowed and gave Perry a concerned glance. Commodore, with that weapon that was being fired, we might not want to go all the way back to camp. The rock face we used for shelter would be vulnerable to the same type of attack. If we can find a defensible position with out placing ourselves in danger of a rock slide... She trailed off as she peered around. They were in open ground with a few large boulders in the vicinity, but nothing that could really protect them if the unseen enemy chose to pursue. Perhaps we should just call for the runabout to retrieve us.
Petty Officer, keep watch for the rest of our teams and cover their exit from the forest. Ensign Kiax, can you determine if our protective wall at the camp would suffer the same breakage if that weapon were shot at it?The watcher nodded in satisfaction as the Starfleet people moved off. That would do. Now to get the hopper back to retrieve them. This trip was going to be a loss. They'd only taken five of the creatures, and now that Starfleet would be made aware that something was going on, they wouldn't be able to safely return, even with all of their cloaking and camouflage technology. What a waste.

[ T'Laara - Team Flora] T’Laara quickly took the “useful” out of Left Ear’s bag as the Sivaoan had directed. Taking one end of the large cloth, she helped spread it out on the ground beneath the tree. From what Leanna said it might be too late, but they all seemed determined to do whatever they could to save the dragon. And T'Laara agreed that it was the right thing to do. So she waited, watching as Left Ear brought the creature down, so they could hurry back to camp and take it with them. Suddenly she breathed in sharply, caught off guard as something unexpectedly burst out of the woods and attacked Left Ear. While trying to get a good look at the attacker, she could see that the Sivaoan was struggling. T’Laara was not much of a fighter, but she did have Vulcan strength on her side. Instinctively she picked up a heavy stick held it up ready to try to defend herself, while looking around to make sure there were no more of them. “Stop. Who are you and what do you want?”

[Team Dragon - Woods, Kerelia LZ2] Seeing Kaya and Left Ear free the creature from the trap, it gave Leanna hope that they had some chance of saving it from dying. So as the Sivaoan called down about dropping her bag so they could retrieve a useful in order to carry the injured dragon. Lea appreciated their efforts to help it and understood the need to get back to camp as soon as possible once Left Ear had done some triage on the creature. Whilst T'Laara retrieved the useful as instructed, Lea reassured both dragons of their intentions as they waited for Left Ear. Although the moment the Healer reached the ground and set the dragon down, everything seemed to go wrong as Left Ear was then attacked. It all happened so quickly that it took a moment for the Betazoid to catch up and that's when she realised who their attacker must be. No one was going to hurt her friends and whoever this was, well he wasn't going anywhere. Following T'Laara, Lea took out the knife from where she had it strapped to her thigh, a present from an old Klingon lover and got ready to defend the group and the dragons. " I'd answer her if I was you, as there'll be no more pain and suffering".Depending on what happened next, Lea was also prepared to call for help from the others or at the very least they'd be returning to camp with the dragon and one of the people who she believed was responsible for trapping them.

[SilverTail to-Ennien - Team Fauna] I'm very sorry, SilverTail said to Charlie, his ears flattening back against his head as he moved from above her and crouched in the brush. His hairless tail flipped forward and the Sivaoan grasped it his his paws in distress. Perhaps it hadn't been the best reaction. [NPC - Commodore Calvin Perry - Team Geology]Calvin moved along, not needing to be told twice to avoid the rocks. [Charlie Fox - Under a dogpile][...] "I hate my job," she muttered, ignoring the hostile Sec/Tac officer's order to shut up. [Chief Ozu Saya - Team Geology] [...] The shooting stopped after a couple of minutes, and the rocks stopped falling except for some smaller pieces that had been shaken loose. What a waste. [Lt. Isaiah Quinn - In the Woods, LZ-2, Kerelia] As the orders came in over the comm, it was more than apparent what the next course of action was. They needed to withdraw, and they needed to do so now. With himself being injured and a threat looming about, he certainly wasn't about to protest. He was actually pleased that Ms. Fox hadn't protested any further, but was disturbed by her emotional outburst. Clearly, some damage control was necessary, and he planned to speak to her when they weren't in imminent danger. Perhaps she could see this was an isolated incident and not indicative of Starfleet's typical practices. Was this already strike two in her eyes, or three? Of course, those concerns were quelled at the sounds of additional weapons fire, and the falling of a large branch overhead. It was more than enough incentive for the rest of them to flee the area. Isaiah quickly got to his feet and followed the others. It seemed that SilverTail waited to bring up the rear, ensuring that everyone was able to move. He made a mental note to thank the Sivaoan once they were safe. "Keep moving towards camp," he called ahead. Hopefully, they'd rendezvous with the other teams before reaching the camp.

[NPC - PO1 S'Riia - Team Geology, LZ-2, Kerelia] To S'Riia's satisfaction, the team had managed to elude the site without any injuries. Their equipment, however, seemed to suffer the fate of being crushed under one of the falling rocks. Something to worry about after they got to safety. S'Riia used her senses as best she could to protect the team as they made their way to a clearing. It was at that point that Chief Ozu made an observation that perhaps they shouldn't retreat completely back to their camp, essentially leading the enemy there. Considering what their weapon had been able to do to the rockface, she did have a point. Even with the runabout's weapon systems, there was no way to ensure that they wouldn't be leaving personnel even more vulnerable. It seemed to be a debate for those in authority to decide what the next move was. Ozu gave S'Riia the duties of keeping watch for the other teams, as well as securing their current position as best she could. "Aye, Chief," S'Riia responded. Her phaser was still drawn, and her eyes and ears were focused on the direction from which they had come as well as the directions the other teams had taken when they had split. She wished she had brought a phaser rifle, which would have provided just a bit more fire power in case the fight came to them, but the Caitian was content to put up a helluva fight one way or another.
